Shalom dearly beloved in the Lord. You are a woman who will come to our morning glory version. God bless you for joining in our just Enid prayer startup. This is Pastor and Mrs. Amrassa of Harvest Chapel International De Nameko Masi, and we are privileged to be facilitating this morning's glory devotion. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. May it be so far that we thank you so very much for a bright and beautiful morning. We thank you Lord for even this time. We pray that Lord as we share this morning, you come and grant us insight and understanding up in our hearts and minds that we may receive from you this morning. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Let us take our confession from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in its day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success, Amen. Our devotion this morning is titled Integrity, Integrity. In our scripture, we will be taken from John chapter 1, from verse 43 to 47, John 1, 43 to 47. I am reading from the ESV version. The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, "Follow me." Now Philip was from Betseda, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathaniel and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the law and also the professed roots, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." Nathaniel said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see." Jesus saw Nathaniel coming toward him and said to him, "Behold, an angelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit, Amen." Amen, Integrity. The story goes that when the Chinese decided to live in peace, they built the Great Wall of China. They thought that no one could climb it because of its height, however, in a hundred years after its construction, the Chinese were invaded three times more. Enemy infantry soldiers never had to climb or penetrate the wall, because they always bribed the guards and got in through their gates, the Chinese had built high and thick walls, but they couldn't build the characters of the wall guards. When it mattered the most, these guards had their integrity tested and they failed. Beloved, our integrity like those guards is tested every day and we have a choice to side with compromise or with virtue. Just as those guards were not representing themselves but an entire kingdom, we too similarly represent a kingdom whose king once walked blamelessly here on earth, his life showed us all that it is possible to live an upright, virtuous life devoid of corruption and greed. Integrity is a key ingredient in building a Christian character, which is central to our work of faith. If indeed we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth, it can only be evident in our character traits and in the choices we meet. The traits of integrity is seen through our unwavering obedience and commitment to live according to the moral code and the values of the word of God. A life of integrity is devoid of hypocrisy, greed and dishonesty. A life of integrity does not give a false impression of who we are as believers and it does not misrepresent Christ. Jesus has called us to show integrity by being genuine and true to our faith in him. This may not be easy, especially when we find ourselves in an environment where the moral standard and ethical codes is blue. When everybody else around us is compromising, the temptation may be for us to give in and conform. When the pressure is great, we may be lured to set aside what we believe to accommodate corruption. Joseph and Daniel were men who were faced with similar pressures in their day, but still chose to uphold the godly virtue of integrity, they knew that integrity represented faithfulness to God and to their calling. We love that we cannot do any less, especially when you and I have the Holy Spirit residents in us. We are challenged to produce integrity, honor, truth and to be reliable. We are expected to keep our weight and to give out consistently our best even when more one is watching. The rewards for integrity are meaning. Integrity brings rest and security. Integrity brings promotion. Integrity brings honor, fast to God and then to us. Integrity makes our lives more attractive. It opens doors and brings favor. Integrity is one virtue that will make us stand out as believers in this purpose and crooked generation. Beloved may be said unto us like Jesus said to Nathaniel that there is no deceit in us. May this be our testimony that is determined to walk in integrity in Jesus' name and we know that God bless us and man. Beloved let's take our memories for the morning from Psalm 26-11 Psalm 26-11 but as for me I will walk in my integrity. But as for me I will walk in my integrity, amen. Let's pray. Father we thank you for your weight and season that has come to us today. We pray that you will help us strengthen us to bear and to exhibit the virtue of integrity as believers so that we can truly represent you in Jesus' name, amen. God bless you so much beloved for connecting and being a part of this morning's episode. We know that you have definitely been blessed. We encourage you to stay connected here on Renew HCI today and we trust that same time and to move you will be able to connect with us from 6 o'clock a.m. in the morning for our prayer startup and also at 6-13 for another amazing episode of our morning glory devotion.
