[Music] Shalom beloved and God bless you for being a part of the just and death. Pre-est that up. Facilitating today's Morning Glory devotion is an astainty from harvest chapel, international kumasi. Shall we kindly take a word of prayer? Father, we are grateful for another morning and for your love. As we share in your word this morning, may we open up our hearts to receive will be inspired and may we be blessed in Jesus' mighty name, amen. Let's take our confession from church chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it, but then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Our topic for today's Morning Glory devotion is showing humility at the top, showing humility at the top. Let's take our scripture reading from 1st Samuel chapter 18, verse 5, 1st Samuel chapter 18, verse 5. So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely, and Saul set him over the man of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul's servant, amen. Let's take our 2nd scripture reading from Romans chapter 12, verse 16, Romans chapter 12, verse 16, reading from the NL 2. Live in harmony with each other, don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people, and don't think you know it's all, amen. Beloved, it is important for believers to live a distinguished life of humility in the circular environments we find ourselves in. Romans chapter 22, verse 29 says, "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings, he will not stand before unknown men. As we commit ourselves to excellence in all things and faithfulness to God, he will bring us into places of favor and honor." Proverbs chapter 15, verse 33, admonishes us that, "The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. When the Lord brings your promotion and you are exalted above your peers, and even those who have been before you, be mindful of pride and arrogance." Just like the land of the anointed David and the console, still remain humble and under instructions. Behaving yourself wisely will require that you be gentle in the manners, graceful in your speech, and exercise discretion in your response to different situations that you may be confronted with. Most often than not, God will also grant us access to opportunities and we must always be ready to prove ourselves worthy so as to have a good testimony among people around us. One of the ways God chooses to bless us in our various fields of endeavor is he causes us to be accepted and God allows us to find favor in the sight of people. People who undoubtedly contribute to accesses in our increase. Beloved, that is how God honors his servants with positions of privilege and authority. We should therefore be careful to preserve good relationships between our superiors and our colleagues. So let us learn to always behave ourselves wisely, prove ourselves with excellence and humble ourselves in God's hands to lift us up in due time. Amen. Our memory rest for today will be taken from Romans chapter 12 verse 16, Romans chapter 12 verse 16 leading from the NLT version. Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people and don't think you know it's all amen. Shall we pray? Father, we thank you for your words of encouragement that have come to us this morning. Grant us the great Lord to live a distinguished life of humility wherever we find ourselves. May we find favor in the sight of the Lord and in the sight of men. Course us to be accepted O Lord. Grant us excellence in all our works and give us great testimonies among all the people out there to the praise of your name in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. God bless you for joining today's morning glory devotion, we trust that you are being blessed and that you will go out there and be a great Christian. Do stay tuned for more Spirit Field content. Shalom and have a blessed day.
