Salaam Wanda for Family. Welcome to today's episode of our Morning Glory devotion. God bless you for being a part of the just-ended prayer session. We are privileged to be sharing with us today from Havastapul International Kumaase. It is Pastor and Mrs. DeGraftavia. Let us share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, we are grateful to you for another opportunity to share fellowship with you in your word. We pray that you will grant us understanding and the grace to walk in obedience to your word. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen. Let us take a confession from Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then, I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success, Amen. The theme for this morning's devotion is God can be trusted. God can be trusted, and a scriptural reading will be taken from Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 7, to be read from the King James Version. Blessed is the man that trusted in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Amen. God can be trusted. Open the carbonate and pour some water into the water tank, the bush driver acts the conductor. So he poured a whole letter of water into the tank. However, the tank was not full. So the driver asked him to add another letter, but that also did not get the tank full. The conductor then inquired from the bush driver, if the tank was actually in good shape. Surprisingly, the driver confessed that the tank was partially broken. I then thought to myself, if we are able to comfortably hop onto any available public transport heading towards our viewers destinations, without having met the driver before, or not having any idea as to the current state of his vehicle, but are still able to trust that we will get to our place of destination city. Why then do we sometimes in certain situations doubt code, the creator of the world and all that is in it? Why then do we sometimes doubt the captain of our destinies, and the one who knows the end of a matter from its beginning? The Bible gives us so many accounts of men and women who literally abandon themselves on gold and were not disappointed by him. Their lives were not devoid of struggles and challenges, yet through it all, they held on strongly to gold, who did not put them to shame at the end. Genesis chapter 37 gives us an account of the life of a man called Joseph. In his dreams, he knew God would make him a great person in future, but the event leading to this greatness totally conflicted with perhaps how he thought it should be. From being sold into slavery by his wicked and envious brothers, to be put into prison for crime and accusations he did not commit, to being forgotten by the kins car bearer after he gave him the interpretation of his dream, until the appointed time of God was due, and the promises of God came to pass when he became the prime minister of Egypt. So Father Abraham, in Genesis chapter 12, had to live his native country, his relatives, his father's family, and the gold's instructions to a land where God would lead him to. He did not have the slightest idea where God was taking him, but he simply chose to trust and obey him. Eventually, we see the hand of God leading, directing and guiding his every step of the way, until all that God had promised him came to pass. Deally beloved, chosen to simply trust God, dampen your life on him, and following his every leading and instruction, is never an activity in futility, there would definitely be twists and tans in this journey of life, but let us allow God to steer the cause of our lives. Let us keep trusting him, holding on to him and his rich promises concerning us, knowing that he will not feel us in any way, amen. These are a memory verse for today we will be taken from, Jeremiah chapter 70 verse 7. I will be reading from the King James Version. Blessed is the man that trusted in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord, amen. Please let us share a word of prayer. Gracious Lord, we thank you for your worth this morning. We pray for grace to keep trusting and holding on to your word and rich promises for our lives, that in every situation we will place our hope in you in Jesus' mighty name, amen. We love it, God bless you so much for staying with us throughout the morning glory devotion time. We continue to encourage you to keep your doubt here on Radio HCI today, for more spirit-filled and soul-nourishing content.
