Our channel got more views than that over the weekend! It was the single worst weekend in CNN’s ratings history! I mean, you don’t get much worse than that!”
• “They deceptively edited it to make McDaniel sound like a conspiracy theorist, a conspiracy theorist who turned out to be right of course! But think about the gall of that; it actually comes across as if they’re incapable of not lying! And that’s why CNN’s ratings are in tatters!"
• “When all is said and done, the success of modern journalism is built on trust. The only way modern journalism works is if audiences trust the news outlets as reliable mediators of information; if there is a significant doubt that arises from that; if audiences begin to suspect that they’re being fed partisan talking points, they are going to look elsewhere for their information!”
