Where Is This Ego? Exactly?

We can be quite certain that we have an ego and we can certainly see the debris it leaves behind in the form of doubt, fear, envy, regret and so on, but when we go to actually look for this sense of "me," it can be surprisingly difficult to locate. And then there is the issue of trying to get rid of something we can't quite find.
