Struggling to Be What I Am

If it is true the whole spiritual journey is to discover what we truly are already, why does it feel like we have to struggle so much to get there? It should be the easiest thing in the world unless, of course, we are looking where it cannot be found. Source seems to love a good game of hide-and-seek and the best place to hide is one that is so obvious that we never think to look there.
