“These athletes have been trying protest and virtue signaling as the ultimate moral expression, not recognizing that such denunciation and repudiation can work in two directions. They disown our nation only to be shocked when we, in turn, disavow them.”
“Maybe they should consider dropping this whole activist fad altogether and go back to focusing on the athletic virtuosity that made them so admired in the first place.”
