Why are you not getting a call back? After you went on a date, we're going to find out this morning with the second date update. Jeremy said he took her out for dinner, nice dinner, had a good evening or good date. And she's not calling them back, and he wants to know what's going on. Where did you guys go to eat? We were the Jay Alexander's. Okay. Which one did you go to? The one at Somerset. Oh, a little. Okay. All right. So Somerset is the mall in the Detroit area, but I love Jay Alexander's. Love me some Jay Alexander's. And now you're not getting a call back? Yeah, I'm just very, very confused. So you said that she was like great on the day, like everything was going good. And then all of a sudden you guys say goodbye to each other. Do you guys kiss goodbye or how do you guys say goodbye to each other? And what do you say? No, we didn't kiss goodbye. We did a very, very, like, very lovey hug, I guess you could call it. Okay. You know, you don't want to go. You don't want to go too forward on the first date, but. Okay. Did you guys meet on Hinge or Bumble or one of those? Yeah. We met on Hinge. Okay. It's a good one to meet people. By the way, I'm hearing a lot of positives on on Hinge lately and some some real positives about the I think I think they've updated their inventory. He just he all he told us was that you guys went to eat. Well, yeah, we we met up. We went to Jay's at Somerset and I mean, it was like nice date. There were just things about about his vibe and his personality that I didn't feel super compatible with that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Like what? Well, he was wearing, he was wearing like a super expensive jacket and like a really nice watch and I could just tell that he was super wealthy and he talked a lot on the date about how rich he was and how wealthy his family was. You talked a lot about being rich? Yeah, that doesn't sound like conversation, though, that you just like randomly bring up. What was the what was the context of you talking about this? Well, he was telling me that his job and then he was like he would show me his watch and then he'd be like, you should come see my apartment at some point. You know, I have like a plasma screen TV or whatever. It was like a lot of talking about material things and he seems very happy about his wealth, which is great, but it just was not my vibe. Yeah, that seems kind of like his braggy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then, you know, that was fine. But then after we ate, we walked around the mall and we got into kind of the more expensive areas. And he, he just really wanted to buy me stuff and that was super generous, but I just was not into that. I don't know. It's not my vibe. Did he buy you anything? Right. Did you accept? Yeah. He bought me a couple of things and I was, I was like, thank you so much that you did not need to do that. And he was like, no, no, no, you need it. You need it. Where did you buy or where did you buy her? I bought a couple of things from Louie. Okay. Oh, he going crazy. Wait. On the first day. Yeah. I just, I just, this is, this is all coming. This is like hitting me from the side. I don't, I, I'm surprised that this is the reason why I'm not getting to call back. Like, I thought it was a really nice first day. Like, I bought you a bunch of things from Louie. As far as I'm concerned, I'm upgrading to you. Oh, okay. Hey, what did he say? Wait, what did he say? I'm gonna let him say it. What did he say again? As far as I concerned, I upgraded her. Oh, okay. Yeah. See, you had me. You had me. I was thinking to myself, oh, he sounds like a nice guy. He seems very generous, but do you just say you upgraded her is kind of, I don't know. She was like, Shannon look hot right now. No, hot, like, like you mad. Oh, well, I just feel, and I know that we're going to have the people that are like, hey, I'm single. I would love to go get a Louie or whatever. But I can see where Bethany was very turned off by that attitude and that behavior. Like, it's you don't do Spag. I think that you don't want somebody that is so in your face with all of that stuff. And the comment about you upgrading her just real that I'm good. That was it. It was very generous, and I think your intention, you know, your heart was good, but I get it. Like, I don't want to hear somebody talk about how much money they have or tell me about how much money they're watching. I don't care. I don't know. I don't know if his heart was in a good place because if you're coming from a perspective of upgrading her. Yeah, you're right. You're right. You know what I mean? Listen to Alicia. What did you want to say, Alicia? Okay, guys, half jokingly, half seriously that Lydia, give me his number. Would you like something from Louie? On a first day, I mean, that's extremely flattering. I can see how it would make somebody feel uncomfortable, but also I feel like you have to express that. Yeah. Yeah. Why did you not just say this seems uncomfortable, and I don't want anything like why did you accept that whatever it was at Louie? I was just nervous. I felt awkward. I didn't want to call him out for it, and he seemed very proud of his money. So I didn't want to like criticize him on the thought, you know? Typical response. Well, my God, typical in what way? Typical response from a simple woman. Wow. Wow. Here it comes. Here it comes. Yeah. How much money does your family have? I would like to know. I don't really want to disclose that publicly. No. How much money does Jeremy's family have that he sat there and was talking about how wealthy? Do you work for your dad? I don't really care to discuss those things. Typically guys that display all of their wealth, they're kind of douchebags deep down on the inside. I feel like he's trying to like reel her in and sinker or whatever that like he's going to buy her love and affection and then turn into a douchebag like once he has her. Aging Dr. douchebag. No, I think that it doesn't come across good. Like if this was that he took her out for dinner, spent a lot of money on her, then said Hey, I want to buy you something. Okay. Cool. But to get her something wrong with him, but to talk about how much money you have then just say on the radio, just what he said, I know it's a very different vibe. I don't know about you, but what's the most expensive thing that you did for a date? Have you? I think for me, it was maybe appetizers and dessert.
