Episode 170: A Smiling Racism: Reflections on Racism In Canada

Canadian two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Donovan Bailey who was once hailed as the fastest man in the world said, in an interview with CTV news in 2020: "in Canada, it's racism with a smile" alluding to how racial inequity is masked by Canada's reputation of being the nicest people in the world.   In Episode 170, Ben sits down with behavior analyst Danni Reid, his guest from the first episode of the Behaviour Speak Podcast who in 2020 shared her experience of being the only Black behavior analyst in British Columbia.
