We have Massive problems in America with you know and at oil spill. We have three things at three massive bad Things at the same time in Japan. It's just it's getting ridiculous Okay, here's the thing though like I don't agree at all. I mean like natural disasters happen the fact of life can't control them I can do one done. Oh, it's Incredible coincidence. You want to know why they middle east saw pissed off because Egypt worked That's the only reason why I live here. I'm not saying we are we are but I'm not gonna I don't just laugh at people anymore like I used to. Oh, I'm not laughing at anyone I'm just saying I think it's bull crap. I like God's to end of time. No earthquakes happen the only thing you do is plan and hope and hope you get avoided by one or whatever it is and prepare the best you can and As far as wars well People stop being so pissed off over religion and Maybe a lot maybe people look and say hmm Maybe your God isn't better than my God or Whatever and they look at stuff like Japan or what about New Zealand or Haiti? Exactly, there's the other ones we've had recently. How come for a brief second people can come together on that But then five minutes later like oh your God isn't as great as mine. Oh It's sad. It's incredibly sad. I agree, you know, but that's It's incredible, but all the crap that's happened in the past a year. Yeah, well, I mean it's amazing What can you do many years not even over yet? I mean Like I said we try to you can only plan for so much now what I don't understand I Mean I'm not trying to put criticism or anything but Why are the nuclear reactors like your next to a damn ocean? Okay, but like you know when a tsunami comes The water gets pulled away far as heck right like why did they build like Something where they keep pumping water in I Don't know. Maybe the maybe the debris would plug up the I just can't think like why do they build like pipes or something or Something in the ocean so they can always be a direct source But I guess if you've got the breeze well, they need that problem It's it wasn't the water that was the problem. It was the pumps the pumps went out They had three backup pumps one that was run by a battery one It was run by a diesel engine and in the normal pump the normal pump went out because well the power went out Yeah, the second one went pump because it went out because a diesel engine doesn't work very well when it's wet and The battery doesn't work very well when it's wet and you only have so much time for batteries Right So that's why they went out. It wasn't it wasn't a lack of water It was a lack of electricity to move the water through the pumps So I honestly don't know what they could have done any differently No, what's scary but mostly scary about this is Japan was as prepared for this as you can probably practically ever be oh Yeah, I mean imagine if that it wakes a year. Yeah, imagine if that you know like in California like they did in 89 Yeah, no one like this in California. The entire state would die. I mean you would fall off the map and float away like in that movie Well, no, it probably wouldn't be that bad Now and Japan is freaking terrible. I mean if you look at the before and after images. Oh, okay That's what you mean even from like a satellite. Oh, I can't believe they already have them up Gary Did you see those ones on I think it was New York Times? They have these I saw my dig last night you can do this slide and they have the they cut them right down the middle of Before and after and then you can slide them back and forth Like I want to know does NASA like Coordinate all these like come on 9/11. Hey, I'd smoke Hurricane Katrina. They've already got pictures like a day after You know Haiti everywhere else Well, how can they do all the government's like we need to check this shit out? Oh? That's terrible And then they you notice how it's really good quality like you can imagine yourself just standing there and you can like wave and see yourself Well, I mean why don't we have this for Google Maps if if it Leads it leads. I mean they will and they'll submit somebody on a plane Immediately as soon as this shit happens and get pictures up. Yes. It is exactly this is what pissed me off They were about my roommates have watched the coverage constantly. I As if I I gave up. I was like, okay, I've heard enough about depressing stuff. I'm gonna go watch Dragon Ball Z and go enjoy myself and stop being depressed because the people I quote unquote no in Japan are safe, but I don't know any relatives. They're doing it for ratings Yeah, I know but still I was just really pissed and then like last night I was watching Who's the gray-haired guy Wolf Blitzer? I think yeah, he was like standing In like the southern part of Japan. He's like getting pissed off About the broadcast and delays and stuff, and then he starts freaking out Like a fucking douche bag on air. He's like what happens if the things whoa, whoa, oh my god What way is the wind blowing? It's like oh my god. You were such a douche It's like you ask to go. I mean you probably got paid handsomely to go to Japan to do this And so I yeah, but then what pissed me off though is like You know jib TV calm has done a really good job of simulcasting NHK world They have this press conference With some folks and they're like nope no tsunami warning We're sorry. No, there is not coming Meanwhile for 25 minutes CNN is Three meters of water five meters of water. It's like motherfucker. It's been for 25 minutes. They sat there Like playing up like there was gonna be this huge disaster again, and then they're like oh We just we just get told no, no, there's nothing Just like oh You know it just really bothered me that Just just a ratings grab. Why can't you just tell us the goddamn news? Because it's all about writings and all about money for them just like everybody else. Yeah, I guess I don't know I mean like I just tired of Seeing the devastation like I am I'm feel bad that it happened, but I mean on the other hand you know you live in this type of area and I you know, I can't say anything never mind. I'm selling bracelets And it just pissed me off because it's like Why is it people need to feel they need to get something tangible when they do a good deed You know what I mean by this bracelet. So I don't feel like such a douche I don't know if you thought the same thing the first thing I thought of was Tokyo magnitude 8.0 The anime about earthquakes Yeah, no, I mean, I need to go watch it actually because I'm sure that's I don't know what It was a little You know, it was a good time Well, no, it came out two years ago. I don't I watched one episode about ten minutes and I turned it off and Exactly, it was like done But I got caught up to episode 61 I'm Dragon Ball Z Kai They've now defeated Frieza and now they're fighting androids and Goku has heart disease He's dying Because he didn't take his medicine when he was supposed to Three years. Oh, yes. Oh, so that's what he actually that is what he died of and when he came back He was no, he's ever been died. He's not even killed once by go by Vegeta killed him in the beginning of the show. Oh When he it's some point he comes back and gets like a halo. So yeah, yeah, I don't know about that yet No, that wasn't very beginning of the show Really? They just get two los animals, but yeah, yeah But of course they also say um If you can find your own flight there, they knock off more money So let's say it was cheaper to go from charlotte to me japan You could knock off the airfare. They'll knock the airfare off The price of they do homestay experiences too. Now that might be interesting really Yeah, well organized homestay program to give you a look at the real japan with real japanese families It's kind of creepy though. You're like 32. What should you get? It's time for the weekly dvd pics All right dvd pics We got lots of good stuff coming out, but me I'm choosing the sad one that makes you cry Real life is not sad enough. Exactly. So now the movie I haven't seen it. I haven't seen the second season, but the first season was pretty sad and the second season is even worse Yeah, that's a really sad anime right there. I have to say. Yep. That's why I haven't watched the second season I couldn't bear to watch it. Honestly, I'd be crying like a baby Because I can really get invested in the kitchen damn you key damn you every fucking show Someone has to die or everyone dies for no apparent reason through the diseases Or they disappear Gotta hate you key Yeah, I love cannon so much And I'll never forget the scene Where the cat gets thrown off a bridge and lands on top of a truck and gets driven away And then the next scene they find them Well, I'm gonna have to go with actually two if you want funny and you know good action, but Definitely done for hilarity and not just to be good action and and definitely an anime that you know Makes fun of itself and the genre that is in you need to get soul leader Uh, mark soul leader doesn't mean fun of itself Oh, it does. I mean Death the beginning of every show is acting like I wonder why it has to take place in a school Yes, but they've been watching their show Making fun of the fact that all of these kind of shows always take place in a school for some reason and I mean death is drawn ridiculously and is Ridiculous Oh, yeah, he's awesome But he's awesome because he's freaking hilarious Uh, and then if you are in the mood for something a little more dark, uh gun slinger girl is Dark but very well done. She like blew out her voice box During the recording the show and was replaced like halfway through it So dubs rune Can be bad in real life That's really funny Oh my voice rock broke. Yeah, she actually had to be replaced Wow, yes, that's funny Unfortunately the show was terrible Oh, I thought it was funny. I haven't marked out for an anime in a long time Madoka Marking out is like just loving it and going crazy for it Okay, I've not heard that before but it's a wrestling term marking out Gotcha Um Or being called a mark I Wow, Madoka gets better and better and better every week Episode 10 was just fucking amazing and it tied everything together And You saw some huge character transformation transformations You saw things that you didn't think were even going to happen in the show And here They've been happening the entire time But we've only seen a small small section of the entire events in question until this episode Frickin amazing Well done And This is the only show i'm watching. I actually just dropped. I don't like you know big brother I haven't watched this episode five Um, I dropped it tonight and um, this is the only show i've been watching this season And holy crap. I'm glad I picked it up because I didn't understand the fuss about this show For a long time and tell them about the sixth episode Uh, i'm right about the seventh or eighth episode to be honest, but holy crap Every episode of Madoka is amazing And honestly if this comes to america I will buy it on the spot because it is just an awesome show Nice And there's people who want to ban it from the tv There's like we in Japan. We owned about that last week, so i'm not gonna say i'm not even gonna bring that up But okay, sorry. This is just so refreshing To see a spin on a genre that's so beloved You know, like magical girl. It's held in sync. Mm-hmm. You know, it's what a lot of folks Probably watched growing up Was the sailor moon. It's not just in america, but i'm just saying in general in general. Yeah, sailor moon um Yeah, i don't know if any others, but It's like death and darkness And a magical girl show Is amazing. The way it's being told us. You know Unheard us. Yeah, and this is like gratuitous. It's all There for a reason This show isn't like let's do something shocking to do it because we can and i get people talking No, everything that happens in modoka. There is a reason And it's so nice to have a show That isn't focusing on Fan service or trying to be like show number xyz Or whatever. They're actually doing something unique and interesting So i've been loving modoka Uh, i got caught up on dragon ball v cari like i said I watched yesterday the ova for bocando test Yeah Yeah, it wasn't that good Um, it just seemed like they just tried to rehash A little bit of everything from the show And it just seemed forced I didn't care for it too much But i'll watch the second season or the the second ova when it comes out Um Basically They have this tournament or some bullcrap and Class f gets a special deal where If they win the tournament any money they made from their cafe they made a did it a chinese european cafe Was their idea Remember class f is the stupidest people in the school And They have what they have cute girls so whatever the dress well that makes everything better. Yes, apparently so the the deal is If they if they Win the tournament the school-wide tournament of the ese bet esb's battle system tournament They can keep the money And put it towards better supplies for their classroom because right now they use uh orange boxes as desks and worn out Uh cushions with no beads or anything in them for chairs And they're everything's broken because they're in class f so But they rolled out the whole trope of cross-dressing and voyeur being a voyeur and all kind all the The just the things that made the show funny, but it it seemed forced and rushed Like they're trying to get all the gags in and one show So it wasn't that funny like it was kind of like, okay, I've seen this before You know, it was only 20 minutes I also watched I picked up myself yourself again And I can't remember for the life of me Why I stopped watching this show when it came out I only watched the first three episodes And I watched the fourth one yesterday while waiting for launder to be done and For the first time ever I've seen a show where they tried to hook up a high score with a 10 year old Yeah But the show isn't about that It's it's It's a drama love show But it's got the same stupid tropes of like The older kid stops the bullies from picking on the younger girl and she's like, I love him And yeah, it's She even confesses to him And she's like, I'm not a child anymore. I mean fifth grade. I'm doing middle school work Oh god. Yeah, it's Thank you. I'm sorry. You're dead. Thank you. They see he says no Well, that's good. Yeah, so they don't go there, but I was just thinking to myself Okay, I like the show. I like the episode because it was nice But it's like this is the first time I've ever seen a anime where they're like Let's try to hook up that 10 year old and the 16 year old kid No, that's called you go to jail Yes, it's called sexual abuse of a minor Exactly And you were labeled as that's called disgusting that too so Yeah And that's all I've really watched this week. I do have on a recommendation I do have saint sea coming In the mail from netflix Okay, not heard of that one's so you've never heard of saint sea Nope, he's a classic apparently from 1986 80v The show is like 100 I don't know 106 episodes Unfortunately, 80v only released 60 of them and then they lost a license or something It's a very popular show And I am going to watch it And yeah All right, we'll have to tell us how it is Eventually, I mean damn it's 60 episodes Well, I'll call on if they can just get the Dragon Ball Z Of course, I'm watching those weekly So yeah, um, other than that I got my marmalade boy DVDs in the mail You know what David is my marmalade boy Ah my 1988 show Joe Or even earlier Were they commuted via a robot None of those little keychain toy robots.
