um uh business practices yes and how not to run a company uh-huh you could already do that but um i don't want you to explain it okay i guess you're the well you're the boss i'm the boss yeah and fuck everything up okay so the story is um anime news network broke the story i'm like it was tuesday and they didn't know what they were talking about yeah i was going to have that in yeah for sure they made a surprise well they kind of posted they like jumped the gun without clarifying what any of it meant they just said they sold adv sold their assets to like these four different companies that's all they say at first and then they have four up five five updates on this news article that expand on all these facts it's like oh then so they posted it and then they went and did the journalism that required that was required for them and posted yeah it was ridiculous that that was me hating on any way or am an end but um well that's what happens when you have blog news because they always have to get things out so quickly they don't have time to actually do research wow no it's not that it's oh it's a big show well that's part of it and the other part is um uh and it doesn't actually employ any journalist so okay anyway it's like we could talk i mean none of us are journalists really either but yes yeah well they have people who identify themselves as ones and not a single one is classically trying this one yeah well what basically happened was um we all know that adv was originally so sorry sojitz that fell through the crapper in about a year which left avd with practically nothing to even offer to the american audience and sojitz kind of said well f you were taking all our properties that you don't even technically own um and then now they have basically what happened is adv the brand is dead and buried that's no no no the brand could still be around there's no yeah intellectual property there's no clarity on whether or not these new companies have the the trademarks and stuff they could and then they could still sell the dvd so with that trademark on them if they wanted to yeah um that's that's not set in stone what it what it is is um yeah when they did this they essentially what's happened is these all these four or five companies that kind of came up with no companies and air quotes you want to use air quotes for this because it's a four or five companies that all happen to be registered to the same guys name and they all have the same address except for one one of them is separate from the other there's four so three are all registered by the same guy same time same address one has a different address for some reason and it's just like it seems like adv took each branch of the company and moved it into a new name um yeah if we sound confused uh it's because it is and we apologize this is none of us uh our business savvy to say the least and this is just so frickin confusing so i'm basically what happened like i understand it i just can't explain it to someone even if i wanted to because they just split the company up well they've done what it looks like what they really did is is they moved all their important assets into these other things to protect themselves from the social debt collecting that too yeah no they don't have to worry about sojets that's that's that's that's long gone that that ended a year ago when sojets took their titles that was when it ended with sojets gotcha well basically what happened part was this company called a-sayer ice i don't know how the frick i think it's a sir a sir it's a-e s-i-r holdings basically acquired a substantial interest in selected programming from adv film's library look they have adv's old catalog yep on the site they call it a sub-ordinated interest which is a very entertaining word i have no clue they are the ones that are holding adv's actual catalog yep then there's si-on 23 section 23 which is actually apparently it's some kind of reference to um texas law supposedly but um uh there's that which owns adv which has adv's distribution then there's valkery media that has adv's anime network yep and there's this hara femme studio that has amusement park media which is the division that did voice acting and um and then you've got sentai media works that have basically taken over the marketing now everything is going to be referred to as sentai media works as acquired ex part you know ex division ex license and they're playing the marketing slash distribution role all right it's really according to dictionary.com some sub-ordinated has something to do with business debt and it means that they are below secured and general creditors so obviously they sold this stuff to acer and acer might get it never get any money for it or so i'm totally confused well here's the the thing is that it looks like all these companies are owned by the same people and it's not different people from adv for the most part and most of the staff is moving to these like and the anime network didn't shut down at all there was no change in anime network oh from yesterday to the day it's still up actually they just posted new videos today yeah they just acquired it but they just announced the what's going on with the licensing what not nothing's changed yeah that's not what i mean they just put up like clean that after story on the anime network site oh wow which and what that says to me is that these are all a bunch of shifty this was just this is the most shady shit um so they're just making new companies so that they don't have to pay their debt and they can start over is what it looks like uh well what they're doing is making new companies to protect their assets from being taken away right so basically adv films is just sitting there and whatever is left of adv films it's going to take off it's going to be taken away when people come claim it looking for their dues from the debt right and these other things you can't take them because they're not adv films so correct i mean in it yeah exactly i mean they don't they're not directly they are not apparently in john leadford's name who is the founder of adv man this sounds like probably another part to protect but interestingly now scintai filmworks which is the one that keeps getting all the new licenses yep is in his name oh wow huh so scintai filmworks which is the one that the other thing is after all this shit happens they announce four new licenses from scintai filmworks which are blue drop polyphonic spec five special blue drop polyphonic especially tears to tiara and you're under arrest chill season two yeah the only one i might consider buying is blue drop but um besides that it's like obviously nothing is changing at the company in reality hmm you know it's funny it's taking us 12 minutes to get through that that's how fucked up it is honestly this sounds like just a loophole so they don't get their asses sued into Bolivian no that's exactly what it is and and i was talking to some people and it's like i don't know how if it's legal or it's there's definitely some questionable practical stuff yeah going on in here but sounds like it it looks like for the most part they're not gonna die anytime soon there are there releases are still coming up their new solicit's for the next um couple months are out they've got stuff planned some stuff's coming out pretty quick to all the stuff that they just announced come out in November yeah it's like they announced stuff and it comes out pretty quick i've noticed recently well how much of that was going on before and just they can't change it they didn't have a date for it well they didn't announce any of those ones well that tears to your gut announced did it all right but oh no i'm thinking true tears i'm sorry there there's i mean they announced it and it's been going on for a while before they announced it well they thought yeah the five that pat just mentioned are brand new right you know yeah but i know but yeah i know what you're saying oh it works before yeah yeah but um i guess the way i look at it is it means that nothing crazy is going to happen anytime soon i mean 80 v and pretty much in limbo for a year so it's not one of those things where where i'm not going to mourn them very much just because they were kind of already dead to me yeah they have not relieved much if anything in the last year i mean they've released some they did um clannad and some other stuff and clannad i thought would have sold really well that seemed like i think it did yeah it did it was a big thing they released a part one part two box set but not well enough unfortunately well you're not going to bank your entire you're not going to bank your entire future your company in one title uh i can ball for a long time that's not that's oneimation man i know but this animation does so well that's that's dragon ball and clannad two different beasts man it is true that's true that's true plan is not going to sell while it's dragon ball this is princess resurrection that's the other one that was pretty awesome then then they have a couple others coming out they've got um the fiss of the north side raw raw guide and coming out in the next month or two which i was shocked to hear anyone license slowing them is it pretty bad or is it just something no one's interested in or it's just not something i see a ton of people buying in the u.s but it's like yeah i'm gonna buy it so it's very niche yeah i mean there's people like me who like system or star and shit but there's not a lot of us these days i mean it's it'll sell well especially since it'll be sub only and it'll be relatively cheap it'll sell i mean it'll cover its cost but it's not one of those things i'm expecting it to be an amazing seller no it's not going to be on the top 10 this year no god no well we're neither so long day dv they did their best and it was funny pats and i last night we're discussing this and we both looked on our dvd aficionado pages we're blown away going oh wow we have more adv dvds and then then we got yeah i was surprised they did evangelion for goodness sakes so i can't believe i mean that's the anime that does not die so it's an anime that screws people more and more and more oh yeah oh yeah just look at just look at the movie i don't it's the thing so yes we can like to show what we want but we both i think we all can agree that the frickin tactics of the way they've been marketing this the the avangelion haven't done the many favors who needs a christmas box set oh they ruined it too because they didn't use christmas box art i wanted a christmas Santa somewhere has it seen evangelion yeah but some people don't own that people buy it some people rebuy it on a kind of bullshit there's a stupid but um well patented and then everybody help and then ever suck it works pretty well for carol serrat so i'm gonna try exactly he's pretty popular exactly just fuck you fans there you go good boy and he has good taste for that matter yes he does anyway and he hates ava too for that matter so um but what i was going to say is yeah 80 v milk the fuck out of the tv series now funimation is going to milk the shit out of the movie oh hell yeah fucking you need four separate releases for one fucking film go to hell lady for funimation they're just doing what the Japanese did yeah yes i know they probably paid so much money for yes they need to do it that they need to release it this many times just to cover it you know what i'm surprised they haven't like gone to like cartoon network and bag them like please please just say a number and we'll do it and we'll split the advertising costs and they're putting in theaters for a couple days and all kinds of stuff yeah that kind of shit so it'll do okay i mean i'm sure it'll sell great it's still gonna probably be on the it's probably not gonna be an amazing profit thing though for them in the end i think the blue ray will take a while for them to get it i think the blue ray will do really well yeah but if everything can get the blue ray till spring yeah no shit it's like oh i won't see that movie until the spring is basically what my answer was they'll be on the third one in japan no because they're going so damn slow with them in japan hey they'll they'll have about five or ten nine hundred dollar eva phones out by that time there you go exactly man you got it let's we forget that yeah no shit your favorite topic since day one yeah giant Gundam that we've had oh so fun talking about apparently Gundam yeah i know Gundam's cans mother nature kicks Gundam's ass apparently she got she's on the rag and the Gundam's like okay i'm not gonna fuck this i think we're just gonna chill over here and now they just lift it up yeah exactly they were supposed to take it down but the weather was so bad and they're just like oh wow yeah there's a tight there was a typhoon because of the earth quite someone now they're worried about typhoons so they canceled the closing ceremony saying uh no big big Gundam plus wind equal bad so staying up for now exactly i think it's cool great yahoo video it should stay how bad ass would it be to see like a frickin rain squall and then see like the Gundam heads like the light the head moving back and forth did you see the pictures from the uh the um wedding and statue no i did not oh it was pretty cool because um they wanted a huge crowd the Gundam was laid up it was at night the groom was dressed like a a federation who's dressed like armaro from first Gundam okay and they just had the whole wedding and then tomato comes out the director and he like and he after the wedding and there's all this crazy shit they made a whole big deal it was like oh this is so great he comes out and congratulates them and all that kind of silly shit takes a small check for yeah probably like thank you for the money oh they probably paid out the answer oh hell yeah oh i'm really cosplaying i love that too so much we made that he was dressed up during your when are you and your girlfriend going and getting married i had a girlfriend which i don't obviously well also all okay well i know i see i see so all you see the women out there if you're looking for it to be married we've tried it for a year and a half he's got no bites no i never i never solicited anything now we can say you can get married at the Gundam statues well not many more there's typhoons over there oh i guess it guess it counts what are the anime kobie awards i haven't heard i think they're both cows and kobie beef kobie beef awards yeah it's um a war it's actually something important in japan okay yeah it's not like some random bullshit it's actually something that's pretty it's serious business yeah well what did it want so wallie won eating to the east and harley channel all won anime kobie awards um bunch of shit won this year wow yeah uh theatrical film award was for wallie television award was for eating to the east production i.g the network award was the melancholy of harley hichan uh and nitro den chiruit nionon oh yes sir i can't even say it nionon chiruyachon chiruyachon that was killed by animation yeah the theme song of the lord yes best theme song ever don't say lazy for turn to three thousand-year-old loli there's evidently a new anime called vampire bun i never didn't leave there is some intellectualness behind this because bun has to do they um is a word for separate government and so evidently the vampires have set up a separate government and it's on a man-made island in tokyo bay and of course the other meaning for bun is island so yeah i don't know there's a uh trailer that's around that you can find it's disturbing but i mean it's action-packed and it's nice and bloody yeah and there's like eight-year-old girls chilling the titties apparently but it's a vampire who is three thousand years old thank you come on now oh still look of course looks like she did you know what as soon as it gets on the internet we're all going to jail because god forbid if that guy can buy manga you might yeah i might think yeah you think the manga is available in the u.s did you know that yes it is that i was what was the next thing i was going to mention that the manga is available in the u.s done by seven c's evidently i don't know how much search this today um what surprised me like if that's actually available in the u.s yes it is she evidently also has an adult form and i don't know yeah three thousand year old woman yeah she and evidently she walks around in a cape and underwear pretty much the entire time so if that's your kind of thing that's out there it's not mine i want it's not out there yet it's coming in october it's one of the awesome new shows that's coming out in the next round of uh crap that was sarcasm right yes all i'm watching that's airing in the in the japan right now is shin mizinger shokake zihan but that's flat out the best thing that's aired and at least it's the past year you still don't watch talk another chance that it it's been a few years since i've watched it admittedly you want to watch them play tag or really want their plans but i and i have it on deviant or interestingly enough but i bought it all dirt cheap um it's like i keep meaning to i'll go back and rewatch you want to be more awesome i like it a little more but i just don't like that whole um forced um i don't know what's anime is what i watch that's why i enjoy things such as lane speak up a little more that's why i enjoy things such as lane or hadabaran may or things of that nature yeah i'm going to be wrong i can enjoy that stuff it's just i don't need it all the time sometimes i just want something a little simpler and i and you don't interact shows for that i will watch american shows for that because they're all simple there are no deep american shows but see this what what what attracted me to anime it's the beginning was the deepness was the wow this is actually intelligent unlike what i was what when i was in college we see an american tv yet he's going to be watching the three thousand year old lolliporn vampire uh no i am not as i have said i will not be watching that hey you seem think it is okay so oh my god if you oh my god this is good uh fate stay night i have heard good things about i have not seen it i watched the first episode and gave up i've heard good things about it i have a friend that's a really big fate stay night fan and i keep meaning to watch it but i never get around to it well it must be good there's a freaking video game after it and no it's the other way around the anime is based on the game well screw that but never mind screw that move can still be good in anime not it's based on it's based on a visual novel a porn game it's based on not all visual novels are born games we're saying we're saying this one was okay this was trust me oh yeah some of them are definitely who i'm definitely are it's unpatches macintosh desktop it's auto loaded we should be mad quiet i just haven't gotten around to it he's got such an idol set i know we're picking on me my gosh oh we'll make this but i hear it's got a good story so we should have pat's review for games one time then that would be good so i don't play them i don't have time for that bullshit exactly we have real games man he's part of the game for real games he's part of the gaming dungeon they keep it real there they're playing fucking super mario brothers the original they don't fucking play kitty crap like porn they're keeping it real with sonic and the wolf sonic and the werewolf sonic yeah that's sonic a lot actually and metal gear so much we betch about sonic a lot okay so what else would you guys recommend hell hell girl is also very good yeah hell girls good i guess yes i want to see it a little of it so i can't comment for sure everything else i can't like about half of the first season need to see the rest of it so all of those are worth getting school yeah a lot of people like i don't just guys where i own this first season school rumble i can't get past the sixth or seventh episode yeah what's wrong with you people i don't know it's not much issues it's the same thing over and over and over again but harimah's awesome harimah is awesome but i just don't like the comedy i don't know i don't like i like it i was funny when she was i was like we got that it was funny when she was running down the street shooting arrows at our i was arimah and that was hilarious and then she started a bank robber by accident but still like getting locked in the gym and almost drowning herself because she's stupid i don't know yeah yeah wow i don't know what about that's flower so people like wallflower flower i've heard one of those i haven't seen it and it's not my cup of tea same here i watched the first two episodes and all you need to know about wallflower is looking at for you to can get from looking at the cover it has the most and knowing that those people on the cover are guys yeah you know what's called the anime version of queer art for the straight guy exactly almost i guess i actually like cos i know stigma no it's not that great it's okay is that a robot show or what is that no it's nothing to do with the robots let's do it like magic already then you imagine but um it's okay it's not an incredible show this is the second part i i bought the first part and i'm going to get the second part but uh it's okay it's like if you bought the first part and you liked it get the second part but uh you know it's one of those things that's the kind of thing that things like oh yeah you're gonna like it you're not gonna like it it sounds like no it's just it's pretty mediocre as a series and i know people who did not like it because it's pretty mediocre but you're at you okay yeah well so you'd say cause on the stick make pants what would you say uh i'm a goddess um Zoldar sorry oh first choice i would have to be hell girl okay so hell girl for you no all my goddess is a real close second freaking hilarious yeah sounds good okay well let's go ahead and get into our review for the week black lagoon i call it girls guns and a whole lot of fun because man there's something about this show that just makes it so freaking fun to watch but you can't put your finger on it it's because it's awesome exactly um basically a show uh i found the show very unique because like i said i didn't really know what to expect the show really starts up with a kick-ass intro theme by mel it's like a metal one way to describe that theme well how would you describe it um epic failure no um someone who doesn't know english well like this is the best way i can put i don't know that's every anime theme yeah because he tries to read he ingresses everything in that song well the entire song is in english in none a single word if it makes sense that's my point you have heard the berserk theme right no no we don't care go listen to this okay have you not heard this theme oh god no god no it's it's you'll me i'll find it on the youtubes uh and send it to you well no just play it if you can play like it you should want to hear it i actually oh they're trying to know i like it i think it's it's awesome but it's horrible at the same time i didn't even listen to the lyrics i just like the beat and the temple and the rock guitar music that's what i like about i didn't even listen to the lyrics because after the first time i was listening to it i was like all righty then i'm just gonna fucking fast forward through it every time i'm gonna be able to play it oh you're not oh i can't feed it through there i don't have my stuff set that way hold on i found it well you can't play it either i can no but i can send it to you who doesn't matter i found it don't uh so so yeah that is freaking awesome i mean it's horribly bad it's it's horribly awesome it's what it is that's the word for it i can't even understand the lyrics so i can't well this video piece of shit video it doesn't make me want to get up and dance so that's what i just found it really unique because like it was fast paced it's a little bit of rock a little bit of hip hop a little bit of trance mixed in i just found it unique and kind of fitting for the show because it was fast paced it was quickly moving and that's what the show is oh i got to say it's a weapon i have it all yes see that's one of the lyrics from the song well you know what weapon i know it's pretty great this is fantastic i love the first season i really want the second season now just because i'll good the first season i watched i watched the first two episodes of the second season holy shit it starts off with a bang um i just been meaning to buy an iron gun around here yeah well actually really shortly they're coming out well i won't get to that um so yeah and the visuals are really dark and gritty a lot of handguns and blood and stained money apparently so the show starts off with this young guy named recruit ok okjima um he's tasked with bringing the cd to a faraway country well unfortunately for him he gets kidnapped in the cd he's taken away from him by a band of pirates known as the lagoon company their mercenary mercenary slash delivery company that basically says um we don't care what you transport unless as long as we get paid and a person to them doesn't really matter like they say it's another way to get paid um so on the trip he gets kidnapped and he he gets in contact with this company and his company base says well we'll make you a deal uh well will fake your death we'll give you a raise but you're dead and recruit uh okjima is just like pissed and like what the fuck i bust my ass for this company and that's how they repay me uh during this time of being captured he meets the rest of the crew of the black lagoon uh it's a ship they're on sorry it's a lagoon company um they have affection they call him rock and when he meets his boss face to face he says no i'm fucking rock fuck you i'm not coming back and uh yeah that's about it um the crew of the company the crew of lagoon company uh welcome them in say you know look we need another person um you know come join us and they do so the crew consists of three people two males enough female and the female's name is ravi she's also known as two hands because she can use two um forty-five's basically in simo i don't know she's really good with using two guns that time so she's not two and two hands she's really hot tempered she drinks she cusses and she basically thinks to solve everything involves a gun and she's often quick to just go out and kill someone for no reason or has no qualms about having to kill many people to what she lives for um then there's ben uh there's benny he's from florida state and he kind of just showed up he's a tech guy he said he pissed off the fbi and the mafia at the same time and he ended up with a gun company finally you've got um uh dutch he says really buff like african-american uh he's pretty calm and cool headed about everything uh he always thinks before going into a situation and considers himself uh benny's and revvies and rocks employer and you know and uh he always does what's best for everybody not just um the situation at hand he thinks everything through and he's pretty cool guy he drives a boat and uh is the owner of lagoon company so rock joins lagoon company and quickly we learn that he's a lot smarter than he think than we think is um early on while still being captured um oh i don't know if it was like another member wanting that disc that they had we're trying to shoot the boat out of the water well rock came out with a quick and a quick plan that took down the helicopter and a lot of the first part parts of the shell are just dealing with rock and him getting used to being with lagoon company and him kind of evaluating a situation of you know i'm just a japanese person i was i was a day to day you know business salary man i didn't do anything special and now i'm out in the middle of the south agencies you know shooting people and shooting at people and doing all these illegal activities am i right to do this why don't you get past all that all the shells really break down to is the coon company has a package to deliver they must get to that delivery um there's always going to be a gun battle one way or another um that's really the episode then the gun battles themselves are like spectacularly over the top ravi oftentimes can go into a crowd of six ten people and kill them all even though they all have guns um but they also have a couple episodes where they try to be deep in and whatnot get you to think and uh they run into some pretty funny ass enemies like there's one episode where they deal with uh arian nazis who are looking for that was pretty good absolutely yeah that was a good uh ark they're looking for this really rare painting and they actually the episode goes back in time to 1945 when these these german's were on this u boat that sank and basically they all died right there on the sea floor and you see the episode from both point of views you've got the german's who you actually kind of find out aren't terrible people per se and actually even one of themselves like what the f are we doing down here for the german war they're not doing anything for us to modern day these arian skinheads are like oh it's so great it's our destiny to get this painting and long live you know Nazism and Dutch being black there was an awesome scene where he gets to talk with the leader of this arian nation uh clan and the guy is like oh if you weren't black i'd offer you a position here he sounded really good he's like fuck you yeah i thought that was actually pretty funny it's like fuck you man if only you weren't black you'd be great no it was over a four on the phone yeah no you get close here freaking like no he eventually shot the phone but like i said um there's also a large cast of characters they go to this this fictional city um core or porgar i think it's called um apologize in the name of that but it's like this fictional city in tailand where there is no lop or say there's a police department but they'll overlook anything for a price you know and really it's you meet these other cast of characters that kind of get involved with the story um but really don't mean a ton to what's going on basically every episode kind of devolves into something happening lagoon company must overface their hurdle a gun battle is going to happen and there they go on the happy way they either win or lose or something else happens which first of the arc um i watch the show in one sitting uh like i said there's just something really unique about the show that makes you want to keep watching not you know it's because it's um it's very episodic so it's easy to just it's easy to just get lost and just keep watching that is true because a lot of the they did have cliffhangers almost every episode it was like this has happened now what we're gonna do the next episode to find out so yeah i guess see we're coming yeah you're right and it's just an easy show to watch is really what it is it's just a simple show to watch yeah there's not it doesn't think too much it doesn't try to overcomplicate the story with a bunch of garbage that really nobody cares about and a lot of the characters are very forgettable in terms of the secondary characters i mean your main character's a rock revvy uh benny and dutch and then you've just got all these other characters just help build the story yeah um i thought the dub work was really well but it was so funny revvy is hot revvy is hot um i thought the voice work was really well done in english but it was so funny hearing Brad uh so uh how do you say he's laughing so really yeah i don't know i don't know dub actors uh well he did the dub work for uh light jogging me in death note it was just so funny hearing his voice just because um he didn't change it at all it was Brad's normal voice and you hear it in death note so it took a little getting used to um and then rock uh he played rock and then um markey henryxie played revvy or uh marrick yeah how you say anything see i actually watched it dubbed which is very rare for me i usually just don't because i just don't but i watched it with my brother and i actually liked the dub which is rare in itself so why i thought what made the dub though was like episode 7 when revvy and rock are arguing and you know that whole speech that he gives i thought that was pretty freaking awesome and it really proved how good the dub work really was i mean it was real i in my opinion really well done now some bad parts about this show i didn't like were you know like i was saying how revvy gets into these um really over-the-top gun battles it seemed like every single time she get into them there'd be five people surrounding her with guns but they all had the nita i'm gonna explain to you what i'm doing or i'm gonna tell you i'm gonna you're gonna die if that's an action movie thing and that's what it's supposed to um that's very very common oh well it's that's an that's like saying you know like you watch james bond and everyone explains his um master plane oh but this is like oh my god you're gonna die now oh and uh you just got shot same they're not cocking their gun it's just a um action movie thing it's an action show thing and that's what black lagoon is it's an action series okay it's it's this it's very very it could usually be a really big stellar in america just because it's very american and it's styling yes and it went as far as you know it was put in there tensionally because there was one scene with one of the nazi people where every standing there the nazi guy comes up with this like awesome handgun it's old and the guy just sits there going okay i'm gonna shoot you now with this gun that's really old and really badass and she's like okay continue and she's like yeah so uh we're gonna just shoot you with it and i'm just great like a good it's look how good it looks on me and then she shoots them dead and tells them to shut the f up that's how fun that was a pretty great scene actually that was funny yeah no it was because the guy just comes out with this big-ass gun because like this isn't a pride of the nazi germany and this is a very valuable gun and look how good it looks on me and look how good it looks in the light i shouldn't even be firing this gun it's so good and ramey's just standing there like okay i really don't care and then she just shoots them in the head and then it's like why don't you shoot me instead of talking so talking yeah um and then i thought the use of profanity was kind of excessive like i i and i'm saying i i thought about when i was writing this that's kind of calling the kettle black but when you use the word fuck three times in one sentence the profanity is usually used for impact these guys oh especially just mainly revvy fuck this fuck that fuck fuck shit fuck shit tits ass one fuck sentence and it got a little old it's like okay good you can cuss already then moving on yeah um my final work though this is a good watch i recommend it if you're looking for something easy to watch nothing you have to get uh you know you have to think about what you're watching it's not deep in any really way it's so easy to have to think about what you're watching oh shut up yeah i want to watch everything so deep go watch ever i think i will okay then good one i thought you were going to watch something that was deep oh smell i've just been smacked out oh man with a great basic one podcast the greatest thing though about this show is funny they have a 5.1 mix in evia with the round sound sound epic a lot of um jinnians later stuff did it a 5.1 mixes that were really freaking good that was something that they did really really nice before anyone else really yeah it sounded really good and they wasted a lot of money while they were around that's why they're not running around because they like to waste money well enjoy the 5.1 mix which is just let's record two dubs for for haji mano ipo that's smart yes because boxing you need to hear which way they're standing in front of you need the boxing first off first off haji mano ipo incredible series um but besides that it's just like uh and it also sold next it was probably one of the worst selling series ever on dvd in terms of anime well hey you know you need to feel like you're in the ring being boxed in your head but if they box you on the left side of the head you'll know it was also 15 volumes and they released the entire series somehow how much do they have a box in of it yet uh well it was um jennion oh okay so no fun to me oh okay and it'll never be released again because it's sold that kind of bad but it's so well in japan they need to make a current new ipo new ipo uh new ipo fighting ipo new challenger well haji mano ipo in japan the manga let me make sure i get the number right has been running running in shonen magazine in japan since 1989 god and still is that's like one than in new yasha no it's like three it's a couple you know yasha's it's currently at 88 volumes this week he boxes the no aid from domino's pizza i mean that's a good idea so man that's a lot there's other it that's not the longest though there have been ones that um have run longer like gogo 13 oh yeah gogo 13 has been forever no go 13's actually i believe it's the more about blackness in terms of time but it's not the longest in terms of volumes it started in 1969 and it's still going that is so wrong take that i thought american superhero comics were bad it's 150 volumes right now well the thing about it is it's all by the same guy it'll probably it won't stop until he dies it's still popular oh no he's got stuff sitting he's got stuff waiting around the corner you know he's got he got a safe deposit box the bank filled with like i mean it's all i mean it's all pretty sentimental dorries for the most part with something like that so it's okay for it and also it's incredibly badass but um and if you watch the anime it's it's pretty awesome because it or at least i've only seen a couple episodes but it's so i mean it's good the anime's good but the animation budget must have been nothing almost nothing because it's the characters like barely move yeah they are stiff as hell and then there's these sex scenes yeah it works yeah gogo is just flat on the bed and you just see there's a woman gyrating on top of them he doesn't even move the entire time and you hear the woman moaning sir we don't know how to steal or he doesn't move and she's like freaking out like it's the best thing that's ever happened to her it's pretty it's a really bad sex is joke i can make fair uh what's wrong british woman well he's that kind of badass that's okay cool he is anyway can i finish this well well we were talking about some we had a topic what unfortunately yes we did oh man okay uh it's the last sentence i promise go ahead there is a second season which we've already told you probably numerous times during this episode another 12 episodes and the thing is i don't think it was even a real second season they just started episode 13 they aired they didn't air right after each other i think oh okay there's probably a break between them okay there is also a third season in production yeah wow they're talking it's gonna be an ova in 2010 yeah but it's being listed as black lagoon three or something yeah yeah season three um funimation is worked around blu ray versions of the first two seasons um the artwork is awesome the sound even the 5.1 dvd is pretty freaking epic so uh seeing those blu ray should be like a must buy that would be cool um i recommend it like i said go and get it you get it cheap now actually the manga is also available in the u.s don't neglect that vis part as part of their vis signature series which is all incredible they're larger size than most volumes and they're really well done they usually have color pages it's mostly adult stuff it's like that it's where plutes it's the same style as pluto's release okay they're they're bigger and they have better quality paper or better quality they have color pages that kind of shit and they cost triple the amount because of the color pages oh they cost them like 12 bucks instead of 10 oh that's not bad at all yeah i'm not bad at all sir so go go pick up the anime in the manga go buy it because i've said so so yeah um blu ray that actually might be the first blu ray actually might want to buy even i don't even want a blu ray player but um funimation the player first i don't know personally funimation is coming out with a box set like a complete brick of both shows for like 60 bucks like in the next like two months if that yeah if you want the show try and track down the original box sets for both seasons because they're in these really nice steelbook cases that jennigan used to use they're freaking awesome and you want them if you're gonna buy the show well you're not if you're gonna buy the show on dvd buy try and get those don't buy the freaking next box that that's coming out from funimation because that's going to be a shitty tin pack or something like all their other shitty releases these days the cheaper the better yeah so i think we can wrap up this week's show because we've uh done some good
