podcasters um bloggers people in the industry and they kind of have a roundtable discussion about a topic it's it's really interesting i mean they had one a little while ago about uh twitter and what twitter kind of meant to the anime community to the anime fans um you know it was really interesting so as i check them out twitter yeah twitter don't understand twitter i'm sorry uh if i want to say something i'm gonna want to do it in more than 180 characters that's why you tweet multiple times i guess i guess what was it the kid rock say most of what i want to say is not that interesting something like that yeah something like that pretty much qualifies for most of the people who do twitter that is true that is true so what are you even up to the last three weeks well now i've been starting teaching again so getting ready to do that i haven't watched too much anime and haven't actually finished my watch through of now and then here and there yet i was gonna ask you about that so we've got massively behind on that step in up doing that and uh started watching uh fairy musketeers again and stopped that for a while but it's amazing how watching now and then here and there will drive you to incredibly silly anime just for you don't feel yourself just for a difference and the fact that my school is pissing me off didn't help me much to either but um teaching in the community college system yeah um yeah i have been watching too much i've been watching phydupatsuchan tokyo magnitude uh 8.0 that's really about it for anime i i'll be honest when i left for uh texas uh me carrying out anime other than tokyo magnitude 8.0 uh that wasn't really about it i didn't read any anime news um anything i just tuned out which was kind of nice and uh the old the 25th anniversary edition of tron so that's not really anime but kind of it's computer animation exactly yeah computer animation okay okay okay this week in anime news brought to you by anime news network you were saying sir there's this incredibly ridiculous radical feminist group in the UN and that has not not only you know they first started out and i could have gotten behind this they first started out just having them ban rape games or games that depicted children okay i could kind of get behind that i don't necessarily buy all the the psychology that is going to make people go out and you know turn themselves into child rapist but maybe if you had tendencies that way already this might push you over the edge okay maybe but now they want to ban all explicit games and manga so let's think about this we're not going to ban porn which has real people in it but we're going to ban manga which is drawn and explicit games which are drawn mm-hmm yeah that makes sense oh definitely um what now yes you can talks about japan stuff about discrimination against women yes you can have issues they have issues with this still but then so does america i mean this this is just this these are the type of feminist i think who would get upset if you open the door for them and you know you can't think i can understand somewhat why because yes this used people used to do this because they thought felt women were too too weak to open a door for themselves well what did it be nice but okay yeah i'm most most it started in the middle ages and was all about all hey there are doors back in the middle ages man yeah they must have been really heavy i know those doors were pretty crazy house has to do with jewelry and all kind of crap that none of our listeners care about so i won't bore you but it nowadays people a don't do it for that reason yes i know you could open a door yes i opened door for men open doors for men as well gay i mean but these are the kind of feminists who would get mad at that so that's so what's going on this is dickies so they want to so they didn't say anyone anime just manga well they want to buy an explicit games an explicit manga and i they want to definitely i'm so sure they'd want to buy in the anime as well i don't think you know man you know there is some scurdo pantai out there i don't think either of us would doubt that but come on it's why don't you go after hustler or barely 18.com or you know more money making to more money making ventures than the japanese porn industry because you know they're just rolling in dough yeah it's most of the stuff that people get outside of japan is pirated anyway yes i don't mean i don't understand the whole um i if they're gonna go after something go after the idol industry yeah no kidding that's pretty crazy that is actually real kids the under yeah the underage idol industry yeah some of that shit is just disturbing yeah i want to see a nine-year-old in a string bikini yeah that's uh a little much there's nothing to look at that don't go after the freaking manga but the whole thing is ridiculous the group is crazy uh they're not the the UN i usually like to support them i was actually in a group that was urging the UN to become a real world government when i was in college but this is ridiculous yeah well moving on because we could basically say it's ridiculous all the way along um anime wins an Emmy whoo afro samurai wins an Emmy our director wins an Emmy for outstanding individual achievement and animation i think she's given the Samuel Jackson so yeah good for him um i can't it is so yeah the art director of evro samurai won an Emmy yay him moving on he also did bastard gans gans was freaking beautiful well besides all the blood work and all that but it's pretty pathetic what i didn't like it you know interesting okay i always thought i thought that was an american program and we couldn't uh it was anime done in well yeah it was done in japan voice in america it wasn't i don't think it was ever released japanese it wasn't americanized anime i guess i don't know it's like you can say it's like you can say madhouse did the animation for um uh the second season of the boondocks on adult swim but it's an american show because they would dub it it's originally dubbed in english and whatnot yeah but it it's it's getting harder and harder until what is anime and what is not and on uh the forums that i visit there's always massive arguments about such things all righty then uh some manga is coming to an end this month the manga is of tula vru frija noramani uh are set to end um tula vru and noramani or nor minnie uh have both been made into a television anime series in the last year tula vru came out last year and it was pretty terrible um this year it's 39th issue of uh shonen jump has confirmed monday that saki have hersemi and kentaro yubuki's tula vru trouble manga will and its serialization in the next issue on august 31st which is a few days from now and yeah so yeah good for that sucks they gotta end but hey all the good things must come to an end yep i don't know what you think about this adult swim is going to be running the first bleach film on september 5th this is released bleach memories of nobody in theaters and on dvd now it's hitting current to networks don't swim i just know it's through a commercial on saturday that it will run the bleach memories of nobody film in the united states on september 5th um yeah awesome where does this fit into the bleach um i have no clue i don't i i tried i tried getting into bleach about six or seven or ten episodes in and it was like all righty then this sucks like i liked the first couple of episodes but once i found out there was already seeing a hundred something episodes when i had started watching it where everyone started coming out in america yeah even before i hit adult swim and uh yeah yeah it's like any gosh yeah but um the show in our zoom the movie is going to be airing at 11 p.m. central time midnight east from standard pacific so uh pretty cool some bleach fans will be happy wonder if there's gonna be commercial breaks i guarantee you there will of course there will it'll probably be four hours long i don't know i mean bleach is a guilty pleasure definitely it's not at all intellectual it's like yeah i just can't get into it it's like filter filler filler filler oh story line moved one for consentence filler filler filler oh something else i never met the mango so i can't tell the difference really the first filler that i saw on an um adult swim i actually enjoyed so uh okay i don't know i just i don't know i just don't want to suffer through i don't think i should have to suffer through a bazillion episodes of filler just enjoy some show uh story arc movement to something i don't know oh and if you're a ugio fan and you're eight years old you're gonna be you're in trouble yes but the rest of us are gonna go out and have a party hey you know what i am holding right now an mgd and i'm ready to break it open you know what i think i will hold on oh oh oh i'm gonna drink to that yes ugio do a monster's is god wow not a fact i mean let's let's just make a clone of card battling game car well isn't it what this is that when ugio was was card battling mm-hmm yes it was well pokemon wasn't but at pokemon that's what i was looking for it's a pokemon clone except it's even worse yeah they actually use cards yeah it's they think he's stupid and there's a there's an actual real card game so let's get our kids addicted on magic flag things no now the big thing is bakukan i just saw commercial exactly a little bit ago and they're like bakukan tournament on september second come play high stakes bakukan and this and that bakukan like what the hell no like oh christ um so we'll get to the story now four kids four kids stop streaming the japanese ugio dual monsters and eight-year-old who can read subtitles are crying everywhere probably three of them but you know so these japanese language episodes will not be seen in any format not online not in dvd format and god forbid not on video on-demand format thank you lord so dude with the right to sell some right decision japan the american version the same series which was known in english something as ugio is still available so i guess if you want to watch english versions cool they were airing it online on forkids.com and now they aren't due to some rights issues so evidently though this this is entertaining for those of you who are old enough to remember genesis there there is actually an anime of sonic x oh now this i've had a genesis and i like sonic come on they've had a couple sonic shows though oh i know what was the first sonic show let me finish so i i were go to check this out i start looking at it and about first four three words in what do i hear i hear sonic say shit what yes in japanese yeah subtitled in japanese so they evidently in the anime version of sonic sonic curses and but other than that it's it's perfectly sonic it's it looks like sonic it's got every all the other stuff the speed and does it taste like sonic does it taste like sonic no i can't tell you that one i don't know it's hedge you know you don't want to put a hedgehog in your mouth in your mouth yeah that's awesome oh shit mark a doctor about it messed up my date what the hell this is sonic and it's cursing so if you haven't seen that you should check it out just for total giggles it's massively odd it's i don't know it just it just struck me as this is the strangest thing in the world that's funny as heck now cuz i remember growing up there was a sonic cartoon on fox kids in american sonic yeah sonic didn't curse there no he didn't do anything bad and there's always a happy ending and a lesson to be learned right right so i mean it was it was like out of left field i'm like oh okay i guess this really was made in japan then all righty but that is on hulu uh okay and they're evidently erin oh yeah they're also showing an unedited japanese language versions of yugio 5d wow you have to what's like re-editing yeah i don't know how that that's even more disturbing i mean maybe yugio curses oh fuck oh god the card that yeah i'm not a hell this is not the card i wanted yeah the only thing i have to say when i used to play magic that that have i said that a few times uh if you play magic get help now why is that outdated i thank god i'm not addicted to magic anymore committees oh okay well japan hasn't learned to give up after those awesome showings of uh speed racer and blood vampire whatever that you know they're just doing so wonderfully and breaking box office records uh more people want to pitch more anime to hollywood specifically berserk bockie the grappler and barefoot gen and uh berserk good work berserk yeah i guess rip off 300 for a while and there you go yeah but you know we'd have to actually get to where it had an ending unlike the anime so i hear the mango gets fairly uh even more hardcore toward the end so i'm not sure how they do with that yeah well i'm rating it there you go uh do you do you want to see a guy swing a sword three times his size and chop off somebody's head and arm and you know the best berserk for you and it's beautiful but there you go until the end where it turns into tentacle part but i'm glad i stopped watching berserk yeah i couldn't get through one episode when i first started watching anime people are like oh my god you gotta check up berserk i was like uh okay so i downloaded a couple episodes like four of them first four watch them okay old evil evil old time boring oh they have sword boring oh some chick is talking about something boring and i gave up i really enjoyed it but oh the my story about berserk i'm watching berserk with my girlfriend and you have a girlfriend oh no not not now this is what happens see this is what happens when you watch berserk with your girlfriend and you don't know what the ending is no this is in our we she didn't bother her anyway for other reasons years ago anyway but we're watching it and we don't know how it's going to end and i get to we get to the last episode and suddenly there's tentacles and they're ripping off the woman's clothes and yeah no it was the most embarrassing situation i think i've ever been did you know you liked this crap oh no no she liked anime as well that was one of the reason we were dating oh that is sweet yeah it was awesome but uh she was like well that was unexpected and i'm like uh yes no i didn't know that was in there you didn't turn to her like so uh yeah you i got some plates in the back you know i got an octopus pet i haven't shown you no yes sorry no uh we we did not watch um oh i can't think of a good tentacle porn right now wow okay anyway let's just move on all right the best the best thing about berserk is the translation of the opening song the opening song makes absolutely no sense at all you mean it's not as it's not as good as the uh uh what was that theme uh gal gay guy or theme the gal gay guy or theme i haven't heard that one oh come on it was one of our early intros and all he goes like gah gah gah gah gah gah gah all right i don't know it's crazy i have to get into it sometime it's funny as hell ah i'm sorry yeah that's the news not much and uh such is life so what do you think of ponpio i haven't seen that one yet ponio ponio thank you we'll get to that in a minute it's another week and more DVDs are being released what should you get it's time for the weekly DVD this not too much it's coming out this week well there is the full um the complete net uh version of what was it shoot i guess when they cry when they cry complete collection has been released well there you go according to chris beverage on um those beaverage anyway all right well i haven't pronounced it that way chris bee to him on uh mania.com it should actually be turned into an american tv show on showtime what yeah they're making it this is a great story that i'm i'm gonna plug here that is five animes that should be brought into the mainstream so there's do they do they mean like we're just gonna break well i mean are they gonna break them up into like like they do an adult swim like they show death though they show okay episode one oh no no he means not show it make means turning it into an action into a live action oh okay on showtime now the problem of this of course is as anyone who has seen this knows the people being killed and the people doing the killing are elementary school age children yeah you can find people who want to play school children meet each other so what were the top what were the top five shows that that should be made into an actual show for america when they when they cry was the top on showtime which i thought was unbelievably ridiculous oh hey show time has Dexter and weed and the best show on showtime pendant are bullshit so it fits right in and not neither have child actors killing each other but okay the uh the second was ghost hunt which i have not seen that was to a high school age on sci-fi until i can't say much on that one black lagoon was the third which is according to him his ideal placement was on HBO i'm just starting black lagoon fourth was slayers which is in syndication which i could see that one slayers is hilarious it's an action comedy as it is as he describes like zina warrior princess and Hercules combined no not really come well yeah it is mostly female characters so i'm probably more like zina the the big thing about slayers in at the end of every episode they pretty much blow up whatever town they're in because they're just totally idiotic and bumbling so that's where the comedy comes from uh and the fifth one is darker than black which sounds cool i haven't gotten into it yet though he says that should be on a prime time network abc yeah i just thought the the one that just struck me the most crazy is when they cry because i'm like okay i can't even see that one happening maybe they'll turn them from elementary school kids to teenagers that that would work but i mean you're still filled with hormones if there's more angry all the time it who who could do that i mean what what child actors are out there that would be able to pull that off and they have to be female that's the other thing you'd have to have female child actors who are killing each thing i don't pay attention to child actors so i can tell incredibly bloody i don't either but coke and maybe i don't think i can't see that i'm trying there's one i used to know and i don't remember her name now but i'm just like that's just the craziest thing i've ever heard and he's usually intelligent but to me that just was stupid so you but for your pick of the week it be uh when they cry complete collection just because it is so incredibly good uh that is a very very good show would not make it in prime time on show time but is a very very well done show very disturbing but very well done it will make you cry no it will make you probably want to barf but i know that too um so my pick of the week would be uh isn't her circumstances the complete collection from nazome god bless you right stuff what's that that would have been my second because isn't her circumstances kicks ass i've watched the show like three or four times over just because it's a fun show to watch except the ending pisses me off it does most people i won't even get into it because i've gone into it a lot of bizzling times on this show but uh yeah here's a pair of circumstances all the way twenty nine dollars to for a complete collection that's a steal so uh pick that up so yes you were asking about ponio yes i was no bumpage for the review no bumpage oh scooby the bumpage is missing ponio is a fish well i guess i could hook here we'll do this then we bring up youtube and then ponio another trailer here we go turn this down a bit because i have no clothes loud it's gonna be oh yeah when they played that i wanted to like just start whooping someone's ass because here's the japanese version which sounds a whole hell of a lot better see the presence of no rap music wow we can't hear you man so yeah there you go there's your bloopage still a little too childlike for me but well come on the english version is wrapping in it oh i know that's that makes it unbelievably worse agreed this is a g-rated movie but we have to get him started early on the thug life man wait for like soup dog you know like drizzles there oh god yeah because they started off all cute and friendly at the end and the beginning and then all of a sudden they broke into this rap i was like what the no i got haven't walked out so seriously it was at the very end it was during the credits oh then it wasn't the opening i thought you walked out at the opening when they were doing that as the opening song no they had any opening song actually oh there it is they had zero opening song okay that would have been amazing i would have done like two raps all right i'm done now wow you i don't know whether they'll tell you you're the man or to be like you're an idiot well um so ponio ponio it's g rated for gangsta apparently uh it's rated g 100 what was it 101 minutes i went and checked it on on monday i was actually shocked to find the theater night by my house was showing it i wanted to go see while i was down in texas and i was pissed because like nobody was showing it where i was staying i would have got one all the way into dallas i was like the hell with that for a movie so yes i went inside i asked my only paid five dollars i was shocked i know i was like what five dollars all i was like yeah any movie monday for thursday five bucks it's like that's like 15 years ago i paid that much for me no exactly this is the first movie i've seen for maybe three or four years in a theater right and i think the last movie i saw in the theater uh matrix two oh god i'm sorry yeah i was pissed off we went to the we went to the midnight showing of that movie the first night pre-order tickets anyway it's isn't uh ebert and rolling no it's moving on yeah so um ponio is very interesting um basically starts off what what's that say who the famous director is hurt oh well everyone should know this freaking hiomiyazaki yes yes but still so yeah ponio starts off with this guy with red hair like blowing like bubble fish and crazy stuff and then talking about how he controls the balance of the ocean and this and that and then he like drinks a bunch of these like i don't know he like goes in this room that's locked and you know it has this well that if anyone anyone living gets into it like screws the ocean up or something and uh he talks about how he was human and how humans are destroying the ocean with our garbage junk like that um ponio gets out and swims away from i guess it would be where her father swims away and gets caught like in this uh it was like a boat with one of those nets that um you know drudgel on the bottom of the scene pick garbage up or something um and siliska this young five-year-old boy runs down to the he lives on this like a little house on a cliff next to the ocean and sees ponio swimming there she actually got stuck in a glass jar and was stuck so he smashes it with a rock and cuts himself a little bit well ponio wakes up from i don't know the jar and licks him the cut magically disappears whoa whoa a fish licks him yes wow that's biologically a machine she's a goldfish as a red goldfish yes the fish don't have tons but okay moving on yeah pretty crazy um what the hell there we go stupid thing um so because ponio licked uh siliska she's tasted blood and now can turn into a human um you know siliska is like oh my god a goldfish it's so pretty and so she's gonna be he wants to bring it to school for show and tell um so he goes with his mom to his room there is school house and decided not to show the fish and hides it um that siliska's mom works at a senior center and it's awesome they have these three old girls old ladies two of them are nice and this one's like always negative and senile it's awesome like only an adult would understand the jokes damn it sorry about that um so basically what happens is um siliska or not siliska um uh what happens is ponio's father finds out hey ponio's gone he can command like these water fish to go do his bidding and like it's he turns himself into a human and he looks all crazy like he's like freaking like insane asylum in person and uh tries to get ponio back but can't but then ponio gets taken away and brought back to wherever she lives and this dome-like thing with her dad and uh she tries to stop her from turning into a human and and whatnot but then he finds out that he that she tasted blood so against his wishes she goes and turns into a human and uh and uh siliska and his mother kind of take care of her and that siliska learns that she's magic um like one of the reason like so so ponio like i said gone and all that um during the escape ponio fell into that well that kind of screws up the ocean and whatnot so the water kept rising rising rising there's a really bad like tsunami that like broke a bunch of shit and then um basically the water level kept rising where the moon screwed up the gravity and the moon was falling towards earth so the only way to fix it was um ponio either had to become a fish or siliska had to promise that she would love that he would love ponio and that ponio would be a human forever with no magic and everything would go back to happy hunky dory well that's what happens that's ponio basically uh it was fun to watch but it did kind of drag on a bit for being 101 minutes there was just bit to the movie i was like oh come on just do something more um it was good overall but uh you know there was a lot of jokes in there for adults as well you know i was only one of maybe five people in the theater maybe one of two or three people that were above eighteen you know um how many how does it compare to his other movies i honestly have said i can i've never seen any other movies really yes this was my first high old saki movie the funny thing was uh you need to speak up a little it's supposed to be toned down on the environmentalism than um there wasn't really much of that at all the most they said is like oh humans are destroying the ocean by throwing garbage and you know stuff like that but it wasn't like hey you got a recycle being on i mean right right the visual i can believe you've never seen like never seen spirit away or hallowed woman castle or any of that stuff wow we're just want to know okay i never saw oh we're i must educate you then when i come up there there you go end of the month baby yes yes because i'm yeah hundred bucks damn it anyway um uh was that oh the visuals were really good um it looked really nice the funniest thing i found which uh there's a scene that uh they just had this huge storm and what not and um so sosuke's mom was like oh like oh my god the seniors they might be in trouble okay sosuke we i know you're only five but uh you're gonna stay here alone at the house with ponio i'll be back later i was like man what what what great parenting you know she was with ponio and ponio obviously could protect him no ponio was sleeping ponio slept the entire time really yeah so just sosuke at home but um another thing was they had liquor not necessary like hey kid this is liquor um there was a scene where um they were supposed to leave the little house on the cliff but sosuke's father took another shift or something and uh sosuke's mom was doing dinner and a really nice big dinner and whatnot and she got pissed off when she heard that he wasn't coming home so she took out this yellow or this gold can open it and sprayed everywhere and the third thing i thought of like uh the japanese drink heavily that's got to be liquor so they didn't drink it or consume it or say it was liquor but you know an adult doesn't grab a can of diet coke and go oh god damn it not not really no i've never done that before you know but overall i'll give it a three out of five when there was some oh there was some point to the movie where i was like okay come on hurry up but then i really thought the ending was really rushed and it was really kind of stupid because it was just like hey ponio do you promise to our hey sosuke do you promise to love ponio oh i do oh okay everything's all good that was the ending i mean i don't sorry for spoiling it nine if you haven't seen it yet well too bad it's been three weeks but um still i mean it's just like man they couldn't think of a better like ending it was just yeah and they leave the door open for a sequel he grows up and decides he was to be with another woman exactly ponio doesn't point out he wanted oh that's so evil oh come on he's five man all right ponio too she doesn't put out but no they do leave it open for a number two it seems but uh it was good but i would say recommend it i'd recommend it but don't expect a ton because i mean it's a g-rated movie and you know i honestly can't say from watching other me as hockey films i don't know if it's good because i haven't seen them but i've talked to other people who've seen them all and they've said this is the worst of the bunch yes this is what i have heard as well but just you know i still think it's kind of cool that the anime is getting uh mainstream it debuted number nine which kind of sucks ass but i mean hates at least it wasn't 10 at least it broke the top 10 i guess but they were on so few screens i was really shocked about that because it's a g-rated film i mean how many g-rated films are there in a year that get especially from Disney or you know backing from Disney you think they would have had more poll and make we're gonna go on four thousand years or five thousand years not nine hundred and twenty six yep it's only on one theater in charlotte and it's our little art theater with two with two screens yeah that's ridiculous and i'd surprise me too because he's there's anybody that's got poll in america it's him so that disney i mean like i really thought like with disney backing this film you thought they would be like oh man g-rated film disney people gonna want to go see it but oh wait no oh it's anime oh we don't want to we don't want to do anything i don't know that's the way i kind of feel that's amazing all right crunchy roll probably anybody who listens to this has at least heard of crunchy roll because well he listened to this you're pretty much in the know in the know that's right and internet adept but crunchy roll is a online streaming site for not only anime evident but japanese tv shows drama yeah the shows don't understand and now actually anime or jpop music they have morning muzumi now which is pretty cool don't know them but i always like to have some new jpop music they have simulcasts of things that are if you care if you must watch something as soon as it appears in japan they do that now as well one of the best things i like about them is they have an a very good selection of different shows they have everything from line barrels of iron which is a hardcore um war show to fairy musketeers which is well not and everything in between well we'll say we'll say this i'm not trying to stop you for what you're saying but uh if you remember if you watched or excuse me if you listened to this shelf for the very beginning uh crunchy roll started out as an illegal only basically this was the site you went to if you want to watch something that hadn't been released in the u.s had been released in the u.s and you just wanted to watch it with no advertisements it was all flash video you could freaking find it on crunchy roll and uh they had so much there and it was all quote unquote fan submitted while basically it was just FLVs of subgroups work and um uh early last year or excuse me late last year they came on and said look we're going legit we're going to be streaming Naruto and the community went what crunchy roll oh you're sold out and a lot of people laughed um but quickly turned into a very very nice legit service they've gone legit uh it's a pay service it's a free end pay service um like Zodar was saying you can get fairy musketeers um all kinds of other cool stuff like he said this the simulcast um i think it was it a review it too and if when you get a year subscription you you know you get a nice little star by your name oh wow yeah i got the star too yeah as as well you um get rid of the um advertisements and the advertisements are not all that really all that annoying advertisements yeah when you get it for free they're they pay for it by advertising advertisements in between little sections of the shows oh not not a big deal you know same as watching it on tv yeah but the the best reason to get a pay membership uh is that you get higher quality shows so well yeah you can watch it in uh 720p and it's almost i'll be honest it's at the level of downloading a it's not quite the level of downloading an hd rip um quality but it's close but it's yeah it's close to audio if you watch a 480p and then move over to the high def like 720p version you can notice the audio difference yes in the video you'll notice it but it's not it's not blowing like into your face like oh my god look how hd this looks i have a new 25.5 inch screen so i was extremely worried that well i'm not gonna be blurry or you're gonna see absolutely awful but it looks like i'm watching it on my tv i mean it's absolutely it is very pretty still and they as i say they have a huge selection still of all legit stuff now that stuff that you would never find in america some stuff that you will i mean they do have no ruto that's where they probably make money yeah they're they're showing the new new ruto yeah they're not showing the ruto they've already shown adult swam i mean i currently network this is new and because evidently it's still going all it's still on in Japan probably on episode one thousand and ten now or something i don't know and what they're gonna celebrate like guess what not ruto fans we're on episode one thousand probably probably gonna have a national holiday yes but then they have things i mean like voices of a distant star or things i have never heard of um like fairy musketeers which actually happens to be very good as well as a fist of the north star some older things that you may not get to see anywhere else so i i recommend it if you can afford a six dollar i mean six bucks a month if you're not a teenager i mean i'll ask your parents for a freaking six bucks a month i mean it's you're not getting well i'll say this uh you're not getting the quote unquote um selection that you were getting before they went legit but for what you're getting now is still an amazing amount of video yes and they're always adding stuff and like you were saying last time man you're not taking money out of the pockets of these people yeah you're listening rooms like a closet yeah you got six doesn't that six dollars is like giving you the opportunity to like feel like you're not being a douchebag going oh i fucking pirate it so what fuck you i don't know in a single dvd you know or whatever and it actually feels kind of nice like even if it's six bucks you're at least somehow pro you know giving something back directly i've been live right definitely recommend it we should say they do have other things other than anime they have car stuff they have some mit gains and some chat i don't really yeah i just go there to watch the anime i've been watching fight with botchan on there the only thing it kind of pisses me off while crunchyroll right now is fight with botchan it's very adult there's nudity there's very sexual endo into endos and there's blatant nudity they censored all that stuff to make it more family friendly and honestly to watch it in the way it was meant i have to download it illegally and that kind of pisses me off i mean it's not that big of a deal there there isn't that much you're really missing it just kind of sucks to see like a flash of light over her boobs you know it's like oh come on you know just get stuff like that anyway um they also have animated you're not going to find anywhere else like an animated set in a restaurant antique bakery ristoronto pedicio wow the french one which is yeah which is set in a french restaurant so i mean you know obviously not something that's ever going to come to America and like we said you can check this stuff out for free they are showing some really good shows like tokyo hit like i was able to get into tokyo hitman or born because if it's a past episode that's not airing now you can watch anytime up to a certain quality but previous subscribers get the better quality but it's really not a life or death thing um they're showing some other goods they're showing hyatae the combat butler of season two um simulcasting that right now but uh the only thing i gotta say i'm worried about crunchy roll is i'm telling you no space is never unlimited and i've never really heard a good explanation of what they're going to do with the old shows like what to say three years from now um hyatae has been released season one and two and what say there was never a number three in america uh are they going to leave it up there or what about uh ayahana right now is showing um ayahana is a um a yuri show i don't know if it ever hit america but you know what to say someone hears something good about ayahana in six to nine twelve months will it still be around on the website for viewing that's my only thing i mean they they pay for the rights to show it digitally do you think maybe that's the only thing holding back is the rights like maybe the maybe the people the japanese company who's making ayahana could come back and say look we gave you the right to sign all cast we'll let you have it for an extra six months uh we want to relinquish the rights from the website but these crunchy roll bought the rights to show it digitally so yeah but i would think only in a time frame or something i'm not saying for internally or in trinity and i suppose they could but i it would be silly for them to do so i don't think if you like you would go see it here because most people are going to have a tv that is larger their computer screen still wait wait say that again most people are going to have a team oh okay yeah yeah yeah theater mod yeah i got my two inch rear projection setup as a uh exactly so if you like something and you want to see it larger then you'll probably gonna go buy it for after seeing it on well yeah i i've watched like stuff my big screen i like angry video game nerd on my fit two inch that's good but no i need to say it's gonna happen much but that that would be that is possibility yeah my only thing is just like what's gonna happen to this content after a few years or a year you know right after simulcast are they just gonna be like oh well if you didn't watch then so bad but i don't know that's my only worry about these sites that you know the same thing like hulu hulu had i think was like entourage or some really popular uh what was it sunny days in philadelphia or something like that either because a really popular show and one day hulu said well we've been told by um e or bravo wherever shows the show you know they don't want to have it on here anymore and it was gone like that so the only thing that really worries me about these kind of sites the streaming sites is what happens to the content i'm like and i i'll say i don't expect it to be around for eternity but you know but enjoy it while you can yeah definitely it is it is good has some cool stuff on it uh definitely worth checking it out that is true so um we got a couple minutes here left the mobile suit we got a good month for everybody this month um we haven't uh i don't know if you call it a con or a conference or the the school girls and mobile suits conference and many have even updated the frickin website yet no they have they have said it's all coming soon oh geez come on you got like a month it's pretty ridiculous they got a month i guess yeah you're about a month away from the conference and you're not telling anybody what's going on yeah i mean that's what you said i was gonna order my tickets but a hundred freaking dollars yeah yeah it's expensive but it is it is an intellectual anime experience we'll be there live and we'll broadcast it live all right on blog talk radio probably with otocasts network thingy um yeah so you'll be able to score an interview with some of the people there who knows yeah that'd be awesome i emailed them about press and they never got back to me because their press is like mmm you must be from nbc so yes we got a good week we had a good month coming up we'll be here every week now hopefully get back
