gotten to watch any of them yet go there'll be time I don't know about you I did you get rock band - ah yeah I play a little bit of it I haven't got the symbols or anything yet I thought it was pretty fun the song they're really good but the first few venues are so freaking easy but I guess it really felt like they made this version for the drums but um I played for about four hours of my friends earlier today yeah life me and my fiance played a lot and she likes it something easy we both can do and she can't fold on a hole or anything so yeah hey I tried to make her she tried playing Grand Theft Auto 4 and got mad because I started beating somebody up oh now she's going to defend herself what the hell can you make about a video game I know the only thing I know Shinobi from his from a video game from SEGA this is different yes very okay so so much I've been paying attention more care anyway I'm already spread too thin on stuff and kind of keep up also I started to start about my series that's an 85 volume Wow how's that happen how many volumes are in America no wait what how are you reading this then oh so they say scan they translate them well that's kind of cool stuff like that stuff that's not out here that's cool yeah that's crazy just a little eight hundred fifty dollars just a bare minimum indeed yeah you've been either the last few episodes fine sure yeah no I've got the same way it's turning cold although today was 80 so I don't know oh wow yeah no it's been crazy in the morning it's been like 54 the time I get out of work it's like 80 like motherfucker I wear my jacket I'm trying to get back into the world you know I'm not a couple of weeks this is a little bit more comfortable in the semester of actually working out there you'll be able to spend more time on my practice in the days oh hello is a book for you know it's a bill yeah I don't know what a lack of both a lack of monetary resources I've really been not doing much and been finding other things to do but yeah too much garbage with real life I haven't really had much time to really sit down the only thing I really didn't pay attention to is a lucky star watch lucky star volume 3 the other day but then my network was so bad that I had to finish I could even finish watching it I don't know I found a bug with Windows home server that if you get really full it no longer wants to stream anything coming or going from the computer so that wasn't fun I had to format 800 gigabytes worth of what's to say miscellaneous data files yeah well I downloaded 868 gigs of it in a night if that even five six hours so technically too much but still yeah cause a lot of the anime was you know stuff that was during the season you know the original run that I probably won't find again on BitTorrent very easy you know but there's always crunchy roll yeah sure hey it's there I'm gonna use it fine you do that I will watching their glorious HD stream that's like perfect compared to the download version I doubt it really you doubt it you ever watched their HD stream no yeah exactly you're a freaking pirate going to jail man you're going to hell God's gonna make you cry and yeah okay yeah exactly we've done too many times anyway yeah I'm just sick of being perfect and winning fuck I want I'm on the lottery six times yesterday leave me alone God yeah it's it's tough man I'll tell you oh yes yeah so I've got weeks the week's news unless we can a half or so two weeks time flies man you know it was funny I was looking over our last episodes I dig today and they they list when they were posted July every week August comes we need two shows in August we've done two two shows in September now yeah yeah it's been a really slow I think - I mean there's just not been much going on although the fall season is starting soon and yeah I want to do that next week 43 shows I'm gonna watch maybe three I don't even know what I want to watch yet but yeah I've looked at them and there's plenty I want to watch there's nothing I need to watch so I might watch I figure at this point I can maybe keep up with three shows well that's what is that it yeah I'm gonna like maybe take up maybe pick up three and that's it well there's like what's gonna say oh well something I wanted to discuss because like that seems really excessive really I mean it just seems extreme for 43 episodes pretty crazy ah they wonder why the ratings are so low or we always hear about these shows like if they sell two thousand copies that's considered profit or you know a very good ROI you know like seriously I guarantee you all these shows come on DVD and like six of them will sell I don't know I don't know 43 43 just seems like a lot but I've only been watching for two years now so who knows maybe ignorance of a noob yeah I was the same way and we don't recently damn you internet that's true too but something you like you like yeah I wish I was a child with weekly I mean like last show I really got excited for school days I was about the only show I watched on I could wait for it to come out other than that there's not been really anything that's really piqued my interest I'm a oh my god this is intriguing I gotta watch kind of level but um there's got a new one I can't think of the name now such as the tea it's an older older mech show from the 80s that they're redoing Papa Vados or yeah I don't remember now yet okay well you obviously don't know either they're coming out with a new version of an 80s show mech show that was more of a super robots type show more than a real robots type show in terms of the teen I just can't remember up top my head I've heard it mentioned like three times a day but the time I need to say it I can't remember it I can't take up any early stuff in this season like that no I think it's like December or January starts the next go around around around oh well guess I saw a target yesterday stuff no besides stuff things yes you are correct sir things is the correct answer things and stuff yes they have Domo Koon gift cards the whole Domo Koon's the mascot for their Halloween section oh yeah we had a story on that anyway or no no you're right it was for but they do the Japanese tourism that's crazy why don't look good because he's silly looking ah okay I thought about dressing up as him that'd be fun yeah sure and then and then I'm gonna go find a hurricane in dancing it on a beach did you see that what's she see hurricane bear well Fox News was doing a live shot on a beach showing the damage from Hurricane hike as it's still coming some guy dressed in a bear suit was dancing on the beach and like playing in the water and the host were like oh of course it is but let's let's pan over here away from him someone registered Hurricane Bear dot com and photoshopped him and all kinds of things I don't know pretty funny I wish you get to the news not too much more to talk about other than anime crap yes oh yeah we got yeah you know that show we do that thing we sometimes do no I don't know cool overrated yeah it is well adult swam hates anime yeah what the hell yeah moving code geese and Mulhary Bito on their Saturday time slots moving on the four o'clock in the morning that is ridiculously when is it they're moving to five o'clock in the morning they were airing at one o'clock in the morning you know what they're airing now at you know it's weird is that they're airing boom man alchemist yeah they're airing that again for some reason like we haven't seen it a million times don't swim just because you own the rights or whatever your contract says doesn't mean you need to show it ninety million times during a week you showed on Saturdays is that good enough Saturday is the day they're going to be showing it on oh for a little Christ I just started this past Saturday why I mean this makes no sense they have cold gas they're doing the loose shell or billion that is cooking well yeah but they're doing the original yes first I thought that is the original oh it is yes but they're the cold gas before that I thought it was called cold gas but evolution of a billion was a you know our two's the second season oh okay sorry okay I'm mistaken then anyway and yeah and there's mostly they're going to be airing our - right after season one means which is yeah there you go exactly so well that they did death note I mean they've had cowboy bebop oh that big oh they've had all kinds of stuff for anime over the years yeah and they've always not liked it it's never been a secret that they've never really liked anime over there there was a group of people that supported it but they're not really there anymore it's a lot of us well that's good ratings full metal alchemist gets a good ratings their animated crap gets good ratings and their animated crap they do in-house for next to nothing they make all the money off it they don't have to share the money what and they have to pay a lot more for this anime so that's why it's dwindling on its airing next to nothing that sucks I mean I really thought adults was doing something good for the anime community you really don't think so no that's here no because I want to hear your reasons okay I'm gonna tell you how I feel about that when they're promotion for friggin mori veto I saw a panel on there I'm not quoting this exactly but this was about what it said they had wanted their one of their cards up on the screen and they were promoting more veto and they basically said in not so many words let the failure began they were waiting they were expecting the show to do bad before even air they assumed it was going to do bad no matter what and they didn't care enough to try and help it they've been they haven't cared about in man a long time over there they're not doing much help it because they basically talk about it like shit well they do I mean even the bumpers are like even the bumpers I've seen were like they'll have the quote-unquote fans from letters you know the fan letters please do not show that anime garbage I am not a nerd blah blah blah blah blah their response well too bad here's our new Saturday schedule of anime ha ha for my alchemist for my alchemist for my alchemist come with you up on the other day yeah see that 2020 they've been cared about it all the time and it's actually a surprise and they had I at least this movie also they were airing shit on sci-fi sci-fi international oh really oh you're right yeah yeah yeah I'm sorry I'm not thinking yeah you're right you are correct that's awesome I really wonder do you think it's a good thing I mean I know I mean I don't ever see anything in sci-fi about I've seen a few bumpers for any Mondays but I mean other than that you really don't hear anything now isn't sci-fi owned the same company Viacom owned adults are Cartoon Network oh okay so that I accept well I know Viac oh okay I always thought it was a Cartoon Network Nickelodeon MTV MTV 2 all that jazz okay it's about yeah they're all Viacom yeah oh okay well that's but Warner Brothers picks ass but yeah you're right well that's kind of a bummer though I mean like I always find it really convenient like I would admit I didn't tune in like just to watch anime but I mean it wasn't yeah I don't just watch the same family guy episode but I mean yeah I mean all it ever now is is like shit they had five years ago I mean the first anime that really got me hooked before anime was case closed where did I watch it adult swim I mean oh I loved it me my me my ex love that show well hey a ten-year-old can draw well he's a old easy ten or eight drinking drinking made of adult again no yeah me and my me my ex used to love that show we would try to figure things out and then watch it till the end and oh yeah you can try to figure it out yeah there was always a twist to you and oh they actually still aircase closed on now defunct or not defunct but the anime channel automation channel um yeah I know that's kind of a bummer though yeah well I don't know so do you think they're gonna just phase out anime all together I didn't think they're gonna stick with bleach I don't know I have not seen it for the longest time I will assume so and you don't have something to go after you probably any what that in you asha oh is it fucking time I'm not sure if they finished airing what was it not yet but they did yeah it's done it's been done for a while well they jump around so badly now it's hard to watch these are shows that require a set audience that hooks to go and that's the same reason that shit on my fox and she gets answered in at the time the people actually want to watch it can't watch but if they don't know when it's on yeah it sucks mind me of the episode of South Park when Cartman was like all you got to do is get one episode pole and bam they'll start changing everything and then it'll go away kind of reminds me of that yeah but um I don't know I hope that some other networks start picking up the anime but I really wish well yeah I mean even more than just two I really wish G forward come back with the Annie or was it their anime their anime block don't count on that they don't have any money to the best of mine all these Comcast is like we're done with you you're just on the air for filler they can afford two shows two shows are you can use about it yeah and they blew one of them on show about puking yeah exactly I spend the money on that kind of shit and they waste tons of money to get the rights to air episodes of lost and start heroes and shit yeah it's crazy it reminds me back reminds me back in the day of a TNN or you know spike network back in the day man TV for men and all the money star trekking Baywatch yes that leg was going out of business truck racing in roller derby remember the roller derby yeah anyway bummer to hear but we'll see what happens I guess yeah what can you do kidding the next story oh yeah sure why not what I'm gonna cut this down a little bit because there's a lot of stuff I don't really have anything I want to talk to say about now go for it all right let's talk about um I see some just showed up online oh well let's talk about on Gonzo and well gdh they got who was in kind of a little bit of danger from they were basically they were struggling they were having a hard time with money and they got some investment from some Japanese investment company and are you there yeah I am all right are you just gonna not know I'm running talk first and they got some investment money and then they decided with that they're they've invested some in crunchy role apparently yeah yeah they are silent investors basically yeah they have no control over anything and have no saying how the company's ran they're just throwing money at them I think it's kind of stupid but obviously they know something we don't so you know I'm just trying to find that part where it says that they are a silent partner that's what I read somewhere but yeah well what I heard was they have no say in the company they're just basically just giving them some money they're not getting any kind of say they're not getting any really anything what I don't they have a stake in the company which means they can be running off of it whoo whoo whoo I'm fortunate wait maybe why okay give me like ten minutes bring your ass in here but be quiet okay now I have to edit all this all you some of it okay sorry about that man but yeah they're just investing in them apparently man well I don't know it just seems like more and more and more crunchy role keeps getting these companies to sign on release stuff you know this is that we've talked about this tons of times I mean yeah I don't see the point and given this company money when I mean yeah they're trying to go legit but so much of their site is so so you know they're trying to go legit yeah exactly well yeah yeah that's true yeah I guess you're right they reward the users for posting content I mean I guess the third thing I say is stop rewarding the users for posting the content and only allow the you know these company exacts or whatever you know select your admin say okay here's the official files from Gonzo and Madhouse and whoever else you know post those only but I don't know guess only time will tell us you'll crunch your goals I guess yeah you know so anything else you got to add to that okay well something caught my eye today which I was very happy to see a Beck new Beck Monvers actually coming out it's like a home it's a side story basically yeah basically Eddie Lee who has a big influence on two of the members in back it's called the last day of Eddie Lee and I don't know it sounds pretty interesting I loved back I only entire series of shows awesome and you know if they're gonna do anything that's kind of awesome because they kind of left it on the manga goes a lot so yeah I haven't bought the manga yet I'm probably gonna start doing that here soon but yeah that's gonna that's gonna be kind of an interesting read though I'll say that much yeah yeah yeah you never thought have you it's been on my list yeah okay that's all I need to say moving on sure I don't know what else you pick something well I knew DiCapo OVA was announced just you love DiCapo I love DiCapo I just love robot girls we need to eat bananas it's awesome yeah that's the greatest anime ever you gonna say anything nah no not really I thought about the DiCapo so yeah what else is going on this week or so that's really about it you know it's like nothing I thought this was funny this whole thing about Sakai City in Japan oh yeah yeah yeah yeah I currently had 5,499 volumes of boys you know it's sad though there's that many versions of many copies of boys love different shows or inside shows different theories it's like well there was it's just great they spent I don't know they could have went to $35,000 on this and but someone apparently complained about it to the city and because they're oh my oh oh my jacks dollars went to boys love it's not enough that these children are actually reading books I mean hell you've got the internet you've got what no no I understand the I understand the I understand you know someone's pissed off like hey this is objectionable material there's sexual there's stuff about sex in here and boys love that's not natural no I understand but I mean hey my whole thing is kids are actually going to the library or adults or whatever but these people are actually reading kids well whatever hey people are reading it that's all it should matter I mean that's how those things work they buy do you go to your do you want to your library and pick it they buy what people request there you go I mean no all I mean exactly I mean I don't know I think it's just like anything else someone's gonna bitch about something and it's just that this just happens to be the hot topic of the way how much you're just you're defending it why does it get retarded like I don't know I I'm very open to reading all that stuff I mean obviously there's a niche for it it's frickin Japan they got all kinds of crazy stuff in manga form they got all kinds of crazy stuff in any genre anywhere why pick boys love you know just because there's five thousand books of it still no like I said so I requested them someone probably read them once probably there you go what do you need this whole thing about the tie-in-all commercial that was great not even was it there's some time on all commercial there's not it's not it's not even like not you must have a good eye to notice like well shit that's Harvey it's just a poster in the back yeah yeah exactly it just happens to be a poster over in the background of like a second clip like not even there's just a woman or some guy dancing I think I didn't watch it chick no it's a chick because she's wearing a pink shirt but yeah it's like some chick in a room that's like really short and it's like not even that noticeable unless you were kind of paying attention but it was like horror he posted a future entire no commercial OMG this is great what I love the other instances anime news network posted was like someone in like Iraq was like protesting in that horror he on there oh yeah it was the Gaza strip something about no and it had horror he's sticking her hand out like a stop sign so yeah so I don't know I gotta wrap it up here about DVDs for the one it's another week and more DVDs are being released what should you get it's time for the weekly DVD pics DVDs for the week I am definitely gonna go with Death Note the live-action movie came out in USS of A to actually came out today got it sitting next to me in my awesome Netflix path pouch been kind of anxious to watch I've watched a little bit of it but you kind of curious to see live action did it come out a ton of guess it did you sure yes positive I'm positive on those Netflix line to me again they like to get some of their stuff like a week after the fact but they're pretty good though but there is a ton of stuff out today today and last week was just crazy yeah more than a lot of releases a lot of genuine stuff is coming out whoa carnival yes it's weak yeah you got fate stay nightbox that was just something I might pick up at some point I started watching the excuse me mmm I started watching the first fate first you know first episode of Face Day night seems pretty interesting kind of follow my radar I'll probably pick it up again and then you know that the 10 version the version of the suck we have beautiful world that comes in a 10 comes out this yeah yeah because I saw pictures of it to 10 and it's actually very nice looking oh yeah but I mean it's not do you think the anime though deserves a 10 have you seen the show I loved it yes I did too but I think it got kind of weird at the end yeah with all the butterflies and but that that 10 was very nice looking and yeah yeah check it out any extra versus the regular box oh well there you go then and I have tempted by it I don't know if I will get it but it's tempting me yeah this ugly a beautiful order something I just picked up on a whim I don't know girls and bikinis with an M rating I was like oh yeah that and they're like the people who brought you Evie Gellian Gynax and I was like okay I'll give you half bed and it turned out to be really good by the way a car he kicks ass yeah I think that's the best thing this week on your list I'm waiting for Karen I'm waiting they came on last week I ended up I heard the secret of the blue water that was there's a tarantula there you go yeah well you go wrap it up this week I'm gonna go ahead after the fact and record a review I'll add it on to the show we're kind of we're kind of just running a little late here and I've got someone who just showed up my door I gotta go do something else so till next week this is Jellicoon again I hope you enjoyed the episode today I'll be reviewing my dory days and it's a pretty odd anime first a little background info I guess on it it is based off a manga and it does look like the manga goes a lot further than the anime does it's so yeah it's based on the manga it goes a lot deeper the anime is like just a little sliver if I guess what the manga is I personally haven't read the manga so I honestly can tell you how far and how deep it gets it ran from 2002 to 2004 as a manga and then it was adapted into an anime in 2006 so as soon as 2003 this brought it over to the States which is always a nice thing so I actually picked this anime up just perusing Best Buy one day back when I had money this let's look interesting and you end up getting the complete boxing give about 30 bucks so it's kind of a I don't know how you call it the romance E.G. comedy kind of spiel basically revolves around two main characters you got say E.G. who's like the 17 year old high school kid who like goes looking for fights and is like this badass who like brawls with everybody but he likes to make sure he also protects the weaker kids well then there's my dory who's a 16 year old cute girl with green hair who has a crush on who has a crush on and see she but is definitely afraid to tell him how she feels so she's always watching him from afar she knows where he lives she knows what both he takes what trainee takes how he gets home and she's always watching him well the one thing she wishes is that is she could get the confidence to talk to him and get to meet him on the other hand you've got the say E.G. who is basically always what was me like the start of the anime he always keeps complaining about how he doesn't have a girlfriend and listen that and you know he's never gonna find a girlfriend blah blah blah so it's kind of a you know catch 22 um basically one day he wakes up and a little Midori is on his right hand his fighting hand so they really don't know why it happened of course Midori is like happy she gets to be with each he and she tells you know says how much he loves them and this and that and he's just like yeah okay this is too weird and so they first try to figure out like what's going on well they find out that Midori's been really sick and they actually go to his her parents house and he sees where Midori is sleeping and Midori refuses to quote unquote go back to her self and so say E.G. just kind of deals with it well you know he's got friends he's got a life he's got school he's got people want to beat him up and so he has to hide the fact that Midori is on his right hand well there's some really comedic situations that happened because of this you know he finally gets lucky to bring over some girls and he has to hide from hide his hand from her or from them and you know she needs clothes and you know she embroids herself a shirt that does I heart say E.G. but finally decided to go to a a like a doll store to pick out clothes and when Dora gets found out by this creepy like otaku guy who likes dolls and it's just kind of crazy like there's really no point to the story it's all just a really big sequence of events that just kind of happen throughout this two-week span I mean he goes from like day one like Midori ends up on his right hand and they don't know why and then by the end like she goes away and they don't remember anything but there's like something that he kind of remembers but it's like one of those kind of enemies like I said I can't really explain it which really isn't good to be doing a review of but it's just a really fun watch I mean if you're not expecting anything like it's not dramatic and there's a little hint of romance between them but it's more or less given it's basically situational humor so if you're into that I think you'd like it otherwise just a light-hearted anime just to watch and enjoy I guess other than that there's really not much here the dub work was really well done in my opinion I thought it was really good and I know Pat should probably recognize Midori she's one of the characters and Gao Gai-Gai and I know he's a big fan of all that jazz so that basically Midori in a nutshell I mean it's one of those enemies you just watched enjoy and it's not something that's gonna suck you in to the story there's nothing that's gonna stand out and say this is really memorable so it was just a nice quick passing fancy and fun watch so next episode of the Bonsai beat I will be looking at Wicked City I'm actually about to watch that here after I'm done recording this and posting the episode and I've heard it's pretty brutal in terms of a graphic violence and whatnot so we'll see how I like it it's an older show should be interesting to say
