news this Jellicoon and pets saying strapping and hold on tight because there is lots of news coming at you right now let's just jump right into it because there were some huge announcements this week yeah exactly hey I am a happy happy boy you are happy happy boy I am pretty happy myself I grand quite a bit I shall kiss Funnamations but whenever I know why I love Funnamations so much yes in most part you've renewed my vigor for Funnamations because I thought they were kind of weak I was like what the hell the Funnamations rules now they do they cemented their place that's the best that's the best and why don't we tell people why they're the best I don't know what do you think this is a new show I'm going to tell them why anyway oh I see how it is you get to tell them yep that's how okay well Funnamation was first up on the block for a X and they dropped mini bombshell shit they weren't even first they didn't hold their panel until the third day they announced all the ship beforehand first they announced you know the first day they let out a press release announcing that they are going to be distributing a huge chunk of guinea and entertainment's titles it's including hell sing ultimate ergo proxy black lagoon karen nano ha paradise kiss rosin main Higurashi shana zero no sakama fate stain I am and a bunch more the live Yuki shown an oil manjui whatever he said the family are zero all them you say he's in black for lagoon second barrage something hasn't been released yet and they have confirmed the way they're doing this one is guinea is gonna be keeping on doing all production and manufacturing I believe they're doing manufacturing I'm not 100% sure on that actually but they're gonna be doing all the production on the on this stuff so it's gonna all the voice acting is shit's gonna stay the same well what the hell would they have to change this is stuff this is stuff if all if automation was gonna start doing it themselves in hell wow that's true that there would have been recast oh they would have spent buckets of money though for this many anime titles yeah it would have been a lot of stuff and they've already confirmed they're working on as early as next month in August starting releases and they're going to be picking up where the show's left off like the incomplete series like karen or Higurashi stuff that wasn't finished they're going to finish off yeah black lagoon was another one yeah they're gonna finish the single of them that I can remember off top of my head Rosalind made in car in car car moa black lagoon hell sing ultimate ergo proxy fate stay night we're all titles that were excuse me in Higurashi the love yuki we're all titles that were like midway half you know through their relay cycle well housing ultimate's different though that's not a TV show oh my fault in OVA and only one in three have been released here and only four have been released in Japan at this point and four came out not that that again thing happened so why I'm happy because we finally to see some magical girl you know none of her you know stuff that wasn't even you know they release these well we're going under screw it so yes be able to buy Shawna yay I can finish buying car and then I can finally catch their last two versions of period ice kiss now what I wonder though because like the way they wrote this you know they made it sound like Jenny on still exists and yeah I know they're there yeah they have there's employees at the company and all that how do they do play guitar hero in each other I have no clue what they've been doing they've probably been working on setting something like this up but it took a year to get them done yes probably that's a lot of legal shit to go through for that much stuff hold on I gotta finish fires with the flames and expert mode blindfolded I'll get back in a little bit animation but I know this was huge I was like that one just blew me away I was like wow I wish I could have been there just stand up and go cheer and be with everyone sure people were all cheering at that damn cuz the the president had the CEO had like a keynote speech at AX and it was what I find not to see yeah yeah that was that's as crazy too because we all kind of suspected something but it was a really like I was 95% chance oh definitely I would have thought ADV or I would have a fan you know someone I would have expected someone that wasn't already established to be honest like some social heart media yeah no I mean someone that exists still for the most part I don't know I don't know what level of operation Central Park media has anymore but well you know what I'll go established a Jellicoon anime distribution co and we'll get all the bad ass titles we know I'm wondering though I thought about it are they gonna repackage your brand everything I'm assuming not because they're quote-un quote working with Jenny on and that why I don't you know if they're gonna already start releasing stuff next next month you know as early as next month are they going to just say screw it and they said they said they're gonna try and keep all the packaging and stuff as consistent as possible excellent and they said they're gonna they're gonna try their best to make sure that you like with the incomplete series the rest of the volumes will be it'll be the right number to fill out our boxes and stuff that have already been released actually and then you know they're in a lot of the all the complete stuff because there was some stuff on there that was complete correct paradise kiss Shana Shana they're gonna release that stuff in like box sets in there and it's from what it's excellent box sets are gonna probably be I don't actually know how the pricing structures they probably haven't said anything about that so it might it'll be nicer if the box that's pricing is kind of closer to funamations than what ginnians were ginnians box that's we're kind of expensive as a versus funimation that is gotcha so that'll be one thing that's kind of I wonder how that'll show turn up but besides that super great indeed and you want to and let's talk about the second good part of this I'll let you take that because I can't seem to find in my news links but I'll let you go ahead and the second big piece for funimation is that they have picked up it's 32 titles total from sojitz who was a basically 32 former 80v titles and not like old shit like shit that wasn't even finished it basically every title that 80v is like almost every single title 80v has licensed since they started their deal with sojitz was announced like a year ago maybe two years ago that includes air devil may cry giver cannon the chivalia de aion neurima daikon brothers sir um kero gunso zino saga welcome to the NHK they have received the rights to all of these titles now here's a crazy it's not not from 80v oh really all the rights they got them from 80v's partner because 80v's partner was the one that actually can actually control them it sounds like so now here's a crazy thing before a ex started 80v said welcome the NHK I can't think of anything else on top my head basically cannon and a couple others yeah they say they indefinitely suspended them and even the 80v's like top guy was saying you know I would love to comment on this but honestly I don't know what's going on and you're just gonna have to wait you know until we get news I'm betting that they probably found this shit out pretty much like the day a day or two ago before it was announced like right away I know a lot of people are pissed because this is the second time cannon and welcome to the age K have been on the chopping block and well what do you tell this is another thing Funimation has full control these it's not like with um guinea and where they um are that's distributor they egg they have full on everything for these titles but what it sounds like is they're gonna work with 80v to because they don't I doubt they really have the resources to work on this much stuff sounds like they're gonna probably work a deal out with 80v to get ahold of their materials basically and just re-release the DVDs and also it sounds like they're gonna do the same thing they did with Gideon which is release the rest of the singles for their series which I think is like go ahead and I was gonna say and the two companies have been on pretty good terms for a while so I don't see why when happened it's gonna basically end up the same way as full metal panic the second raid which was Funimation released it but 80v is the one who did the dub and stuff for it so it's inconsistent with the rest of the series yeah I mean I just like wow because like I think it was what Wednesday or Tuesday the news came out about cannon and welcome to the HK now just like shit you know you know they drop the prices down for one to four to fifteen dollars apiece and then they go well not getting five or six yeah that's when it's getting good too but just like come on what more can you do 80v why don't you kick your fans some more while they're down it's not their fault you can't blame them one bit you can't it's not their fault it was it's you can blame sojitz all you want you can't blame the guys at 80v because there it wasn't them who did it the other guys did it completely with to basically did it without saying anything to 80v from what it sounds like all right we're done we're taking our licenses and walking is basically what it sounds like happen and I really wonder what's the motivation behind this I mean what's the purpose I would really like to get what it sounds like from what I read it sounded from like guys from 80v was it sounded like there was their partnership was always kind of rocky and they probably regret ever going into it at this point and it's like they already have a new partner they haven't announced who yet they said they're gonna probably announce it Otacon but um right now live and basically what it comes down to is maybe maybe they're partnership fell through and the other guys are the one were the ones that actually controlled the licenses and they walked out on it and took them to Funimation but Funimation you know it's pretty loyal to fans and that kind of thing and it looks like they're gonna you know they're not gonna make them rebuy all this stuff they did say that for some stuff they're gonna like reevaluate it and see if it's even worth doing the singles or just go straight for sets for them but I imagine for 99% especially for like NHK and Canon they'll probably finish it out yeah they also said that this is this is gonna take a couple more months they want to get it out by the fall but it's not gonna be like as fast as the guinea and thing which has probably been in the works for a lot longer because if you think about it the ink on this thing probably dried like Tuesday which like the win 80v had to suspend their stuff indefinitely the ink probably dried like that day on the contracts for oh definitely to get that stuff so that's only like let it's less than a week ago yeah that that stuff was all said and done and it's like you feel sorry for 80v but they're not going under well I wonder what's gonna happen though I can start getting more niche titles but they said that they're in negotiations for like 25 new titles oh wow and they have a new partner they said yeah I was wondering who they partner with they're like why probably another Japanese company or something gotcha now I mean I'm only new under the I don't know the whole business side of anime but now if you look at Jenny on they were a distribution slash they bought the rights to yeah they were telling me or Funimation oh okay so I'm just trying to think what's hmm okay the difference what the kidding was um they're just they just kind of decided it wasn't worth the money anymore and backed out of it and then okay okay so I wasn't sure they worked out with Funimation was probably like okay now we can balance things out more less overhead for us and it's cool and also getting in Japan is a big producer yes of anime so that's another thing so do you wonder if this is like the new coming of Genium or just gonna be a one-shot deal sign look we've got all these orphan titles Funimation just do what you got to do with them here's the rights to them give us some cash well the thing is they're the district they're producing them getting in producing them but I will give you that they're probably not gonna be licensing much anything else it's probably gonna be mostly it's gonna do they do this to appease the fans and the people who are good enough to buy the the first you know like me and you finishing off all the stuff that they are finishing off the older stuff finishing off the stuff getting out boxets and stuff of the other stuff and hopefully that includes them doing some of the box sets of titles that weren't included on that list they said select titles hopefully they're gonna get more stuff like um like the tip the old Tinchimuyo ovas and stuff like that because that's something I personally like to acquire in a more reasonably priced set because the sets that were released a lot in like remastered sets too for that that's basically what that comes down to but I yeah I don't see them actually like picking up new titles ever it's got you like everything all their older stuff but I don't see them licensing new stuff ever that's the yeah so what do you think they finish the Hellsing Ultimate series all is right with the friggin world so I'm just kind of curious why they need the exist what what are they doing now you know why haven't we heard hey they're shutting down the corporate office in Wichita Kansas and they're going back to Japan and yes I know they're not located Wichita check Kansas where they are but but I mean yeah he's just like I always I guess kind of wonder now like why does Johnny on the TV round well whatever it's mainly for finishing production and all that stuff because realistically well there's a couple factors to that and that's um where the voice actors are located for the shows who did the production and just Funimation can only do so much in how Funimation does their stuff in house yeah and they have their own licenses to worry about for that yep which is probably why they're gonna work out a deal with a DV they don't have the resources to deal with producing that many dubs and shit in-house and they don't and they haven't to this point released to my knowledge maybe like one they haven't released to this point any sub only releases oh wow it's like their big thing they don't any time you ask them they're like all right well do what they say though quickly do out video on demand like you buy them for two bucks an episode some only things but the DVDs are all gonna be dubbed that's how it's been so far at least but yeah yeah it's like it's pretty darn it's fascinating to see this all go down so oh definitely I mean I'm finally happy to be able to finish the shows I started and I'm definitely gonna find yeah and I'm definitely gonna find some cash to buy these because who knows a lot who knows this is gonna be like a one-time run they'll get out like the singles and then they will I box sets of them oh yeah but I mean how long is uh how long are they yeah no another deal for say but how long is Funny or Funimation going to say okay we're going to finish you know we're only going to support this for two production runs for example two production runs okay we're done well the thing is the way most anime works is a lot of times it's the singles or singles are more expensive they cover all production cost only I might be wrong on this but I'm for in that kind of thing and then the box sets are where a lot of the extra cash flow comes from which is why it's taking them a little more why why this whole thing with box sets only releases is so radical but um I imagine and Funimation for that matter has been really good with re-releasing stuff granted they don't have full control of these titles but I imagine it's probably something that they're it's probably something that's pretty damn long term yeah to keep you know re-releasing and it's a lot of titles and it's going to be over time so you're not going to see like every single title be re-released in August you're going to see maybe two I assume it's going to take a little time to get everything out there yeah obviously yeah and I mean Funimation re-releases everything they love it I mean oh definitely and they've gotten really not really good with their packaging and all that kind of stuff and they finally improved their viridian shit to the point where the box it's our flimsy pieces of shit anymore and they're actually yeah they're actually decent while of course I haven't seen them yet but I mean I have been hearing good things on the anime on DVD forums yeah well the viridian ones I've seen are like the early viridians were horrible yeah they were just pieces of paper but anyway Funimation rules but at their panel following all these announcements they didn't really have much else to say it's not too much yeah they've confirmed like one thing that kind of disappoints me is there the sixth um the sixth DBC set is coming later in the year obviously but then they're releasing like a set at the by the end of the little late away they're gonna have a set for GT and I'm like I don't want to fucking set for GT get around a dragon ball is all I want them to do GT sucked I don't need to buy GT again but if I need to buy GT for them to do DB I would probably indeed but yeah besides that they didn't really say anything else they did announce like a release day for over on I can't remember more on oh yeah sometime this winter I can't remember exactly when and I don't really care personally yeah they also release the the uh cast list oh yeah not a big deal only name I really recognized was Greg Ayers and I don't know I'll try out oh the whole store on club but yeah I don't know yeah and they're doing like you know iTunes more stuff's gonna be on iTunes now yep and I actually just next door the last Funimation story today uh Funimation YouTube have finally set up a branded online channel basically they're gonna be showing up on it I heard what's that some stuff actually is gonna be showing up on like new stuff well okay because right now it says they're eventually gonna be showing four episodes of blue blue good blue gender slayers peach girl washushi and kitty-grade among other titles you know every week and yeah that's like their oldest title besides Dragon Ball we'll see basically yeah I'm checking out the thing now and yeah not too much YouTube just some you just see ads YouTube they're showing some Dragon Ball Z trailers you know not too much wow so yeah well pretty cool but all the Funimation news from uh from the con all right moving on we're gonna talk moving on let's talk about some Bandai news cuz I actually had some good stuff - okay all right first off first off we'll talk um let's see the the Hanami's label which basically they held a panel and it was essentially where Bandai Entertainment explained what's going on with how they're handling the bandai visual USA shit and after the consolidation yeah and basically what they're doing is the bandai visual USA is going to be turned basically they're gonna rename it into the I always pronounce it wrong so forgive me Hanami's say Hanami say I think it's pronounced label which is it's essentially gonna be a premium label essentially what Bandai visual was meant to be and they said they're actually they're gonna work on yeah the whole point is that it's gonna be simultaneous releases but they're gonna with Japan I mean and they're gonna try and get their prices are gonna be lower and on a title by title basis they'll have dubs and the only new only new stuff they've announced so far they haven't said anything I'll say they haven't said anything about what's going on with solo true tears or damn what was the other one for point side so shit I know yeah I know what you're saying yeah but anyway they haven't said what's going on with those titles that were announced a few months back by Bandai visual USA they haven't said anything about them yet but basically what they've announced so far is freedom which was so far it's only been available on twin format HDD VDs for like 40 bucks a pop for an episode and in November they're going to be releasing it on Blu-ray in a four disc limited edition set for a hundred forty dollars you get all seven episodes on on Blu-ray basically which realistically that's not bad that's not a bad price actually it isn't and then sometime in with it's gonna have Japanese English and French voice tracks with Dolby true HD 5.1 all that shit you're gonna feel like you're in the ship and then in early oh nine it's going to be have a regular band-eye entertainment DVD release with volumes and a box set at some point so if you don't want to pay the hundred forty dollars for the Blu-ray you can buy the DVD box set later neck and no nine yup I might actually break down and buy that on Blu-ray because the only thing that stopped me from buying it already was that it was on friggin HD DVD and then the one other thing they announced is that gun buster versus die bus game for the top the gaudy movie got time movie it wasn't got time yeah okay it's gonna be a $50 DVD in a three-disc Blu-ray for a hundred bucks in November yippie skippy damn right I'm weak I'll probably end up with both of those then you're gonna bitch me I broke I will bitch that I'm broke but I'll be what I'll get to watch freedom and glorious HD and then you'll notice now pretty bucks me I don't know how much more can make a pencil line look good I don't know make anything look better I don't know you haven't you haven't seen paprika on Blu-ray have you no I have not I do not know I do not know I have do not own any current generation format other than DVD I'm not cool enough yet I have a ps3 that's why a Blu-ray oh bloody frickin done like oh when you see that you'll understand why it's good but anyway moving on the other announcement that Ben I entertain it decided to make this was at their own perk that the Ben I entertain a panel they had a couple big things first off Gundam double-o is gonna be airing on sci-fi in November who who indeed that means that that and a Monday is actually getting some good stuff now who going from girl and log into Gundam double-o so so when is go or a log is for airing here like 28 oh shit what a birthday present for Pat and I don't have sci-fi yeah anyway yeah so they've got Gundam double-o all set tear on TV which is great to hear if you ask me that means it'll probably manage to sell even better it was good for Gundam and they also announced something that actually surprised the crap out of me and that was that they've licensed Hayate the combat butler Hayate no go-toker for releasing the US the 52 episode series about a boy with a hundred I think it's a hundred what is the exact number yeah it was like a hundred million yen and he's like all different six million yen in debt and he and his parents give it to him for his birthday basically happy birthday which basically this this rich girl who thinks he's in love with her pays off his debt for him and to repay it he becomes her butler and it's a freaking hilarious show anyone who's seen it knows why it's so great well what do you yeah we wasn't gonna do is he was gonna kidnap her and he blurts out something along the lines of you think he has a crush on her so she's like oh yay sounds good say the least oh every time it's just you know psychotically cramped with them answer anime references it's like so many references in in jokes and crap in that show it's insane and like there's a what a whole episode that's essentially a girl and logan spoof and girl long is even that new that's crazy I know and it's like when a girl and logan originally aired 2006 I think so but yeah it's a great show I frickin loved it and there is a second 52 50 episode season from what I believe in production it was a second season I'm assuming it's gonna be another 50 episodes Wow damn and said anything about how it's gonna be a release or anything yet but I'm on the bed it's gonna be like it's gonna be something along the lines of 13 episodes subtitle only box sense so I don't see that being a very easily dubbed show do I have to buy a new shelf just the house of boxets here's a seven box that's from season one it's only 50 episodes seven box that's damn it it's only four hey we must don't get along anyway so was that show I mean you said really good I loved it but did they have a lot of filler episodes or like like 90% of the show is filler it doesn't have much plot at all okay to those shows but it's freakin hilarious because I was like I'll just use example bleach I was like oh bleach success no it's not that watch watch oh great now there's 14 15 thousand episodes of filler no it's not that kind of show yay it's not something you take seriously at all but it's freaking amazing I loved it I will watch it and I will kill you but I do not like it oh you will like it but you don't serve to live oh damn it I think that's a challenge okay bam bam yes anyway biz now have their own announcements here at a X yeah more more manga licenses they announced what was it a couple unsurprising things and nothing that interesting to me yeah I'm not installed magic touch Oh tome in and then they also confirmed a couple titles they've already recently talked about fu she can't dance with that five times fast heavens will hot gimmick and ocean no oh I can't wait damn I suck no no oh she no boo there you go I'll cut damn it no it's probably I don't know I give up yeah but anyway yeah and they also did something the if you follow this in their anime life just much recently you know you know they suck and basically the only stuff that they're good at releasing consistently are is bleach Naruto and death note yep and they basically danced around the fact that they have all these other titles that are in limbo like full moon and Hikaru no go and Prince of tennis and then screw Prince of tennis yeah but yeah but they did mention a couple little things they have hunter X hunter is in the works with box that's hopefully this year I think it's gonna get like four box sets for the entire series and then Nana is in production somehow honey X clover might get released you know or honey and clover I mean might get released in oh nine Jesus Christ please just bring that frickin everyone wants it come on Viz and the and the good one now okay Ross I was monster the enemy adaptation of monster is in the works for oh nine with DVD and possibly TV you would frickin love that show what I yes guarantee what's it about what's it about I don't want to describe it's work to describe well it's about it's been a while since I've read it so I've only read a little bit of it but I already know that it's a real suspenseful kind of dramatic I guess in a way zero excellent yeah cliff hammock I would think yes and if you and damn I can't even describe it right now you just so much and I'll buy it you're just like oh shit what do I begin I really need to start restarting it because I have the first like couple volume sitting on my shelf and it's been a long time so I can barely even remember much of it to describe it to you but all I know is that it's great there you go yeah that was one that I don't think they'd ever announced really it's kind of like they probably thought they announced him but forgot that they didn't or something oh by the way yeah and they also like half and they said they're gonna be working on the Ruto and I think I forget what it was there they're gonna finish up Naruto in oh nine sometime and then move into ship Odin so whoop DDA for Naruto indeed moving on it's going oh it's going to like two months between box sets an hour something like that that's not too bad they're doing fast right stuff add Gekko and Alice re-issue the first Tara E hell yes it's a part of that like I could care less about Gekko and Alice sounds gonna be creepy um so yeah not too much a Gekko and Alice Alice to show Joe series about a girl who enrolls in a magic school yeah we've seen it it's a any version of Harry Potter yes and it's 26 episodes and it's gonna be a sub only release sometime in the spring of Oh nine and then they also announced they announced two things actually they announced the re-releasing the original toward the Tara Terre the movie which they released right stuff released on VHS 14 years ago in 1994 oh wow and they're re-releasing it sometime this year and that's significant because this past year the original manga and the new remake are coming out the manga's already finished its release and the new remake the first couple volumes of it come out from Bandai Entertainment like next week in a week or two basically and that's a big deal there it's like a remastered re-release of it and then also this is something else they announced that they're going to be releasing remastered box sets of the um irresponsible Captain Tyler they're gonna re-relate they're gonna remaster box sets of the CV series and the over and they're also doing something cool really cool with that if you bought the ultimate box set from them that was out like a year or two ago they're gonna let you they're gonna have some kind of exchange where you can trade in your discs for the new remastered ones hmm interesting see they're like the only guys I would ever do something like that because they're just I don't know if I trust them I just they've been around for at least 14 years now because you're in time they turn around you know change your mind it's just gonna change they're just gonna change their mind and keep your discs look whoa fools it's the same as any other exchange program for DVDs yeah yeah no so me and write stuff always do something that surprised me and that's pretty darn cool I'm definitely gonna buy Tyler and Tara I can pass on Gaco and Alice though oh did you um did you read about the anti-plex stuff what's talking oh they're talking about making blue river the possible blu-ray versions of Garn log-in yeah I did hear some which would be cool but it's one of those things where it'll probably be after it after it's finished every DVD release and I'll already have it and quite frankly upscaling is good enough a lot of the time gotcha work great in some cases the ps3 is actually really good at upscaling yeah I've heard it's pretty good okay I ain't rebaying anything in blue ray if I buy something blue ray I'm not double dipping for anything basically is what I'm saying mm-hmm no I'm totally understandable he spent the money just because it looks better it doesn't mean you're gonna notice something new we're enjoying more well you might want to winch nine on a 32 winch 720p at least I'll give you my 52 inch if it's 1080p I'll take it it is 1080 boy no it's 1080p yeah 1080p I think or tight it's probably not yeah I don't remember that shit unless you paid like four thousand dollars for it two years ago how long have you had it I've been it for wow three years now yeah it's a rear end for it yeah it's a rear projection it's 1080i you know for a thousand dollars at best by oh yeah seven hundred about a year and a half ago I think I bought mine right we right when the LCDs are coming out so the projection screens weren't quite cheap yet I mean a thousand bucks is still pretty good for 52 inch but the LCDs were still like one or 30 inch LCD you're paying nine hundred dollars for it yeah you know now it's like bargain been a frickin Walmart had frickin Walmart every good three TVs with price of one anyway Tokyo pop oh sorry was that I said anyway what else we got finally Tokyo pop and they're awesome awesome manga announces kind of yeah not really there's only one I'm looking forward to this ugly yet beautiful world indeed I want to know what the hell's difference between that and the anime it's a a adaptation of the anime so probably jack shit I got damn it looks nice though yes and then the dot-hacked you novel Fanny's dream or argana yep Subasa those those with wings I remember that is most of the stuff I've never heard of yeah same here a peacemaker I've heard of coconut which was released by 80 V manga at one point oh yeah part of it was I don't think it ever finished not much for me to be never finished momo tama castle dreams and G life to Ghana no G so I'll get a beautiful world made some which I just heard the synopsis for seems kind of eh and Damon demons sacred sacred oh I don't know I just could burn out it's like you were trying to go all Japanese he was to pronounce pronunciation of it for some reason it looked like no I was trying to think like what what's that word damn it the thing is they didn't say anything about the titles that are in the limbo right now from them like mobile suit gonna make hold of sale or the the Trinity blood novels so it's like I don't give a shit I want him to tell me if I'm gonna be able to buy all of it cold as hell or if I'm gonna be able to buy the all of the Trinity blood novels because those are two things I really want see this is why I'm nervous I mean I started buying some manga I've been buying this only granted it's only one series of manga the Sun dome but I mean I've seen so many effing manga's just go out of print for no apparent reason I'm just really nervous to be investing my money to be like oh yeah I mean it's 10 bucks per book but you get sucked into the story when I know what happens and it's like poof gone it seems to happen to all too often with anime without manga it happens some and I'm hoping they better friggin finish it cold as hell that'll kill me I mean they're already at this rate they can they're probably gonna end up going I'm betting with a lot of the smaller stuff I mean I'm praying I should say is that they'll probably end up going with like six-month release rates on them like a volume every six months which is better than nothing and for some stuff that makes sense because like for some stuff they're getting like with a cold as hell they're getting pretty darn close to where it is in Japan so it wouldn't surprise me if it did that because it's not done but like the Trinity blood novels I could live with a six-month release rate just finish them you've gotten damn how many have they gotten out now I think they've got three of one series three of one series out and then two of the other there's two four book series and it's like just finish them that's only three more books to go if I'm right I might be wrong it might be two of each that's out just finish them I really want to get them all yep yep I haven't I will admit I haven't bought any of them yet which isn't something I don't have any right to bitch about because that means I'm not contributing to the sales of them but at the same time I really want them and it's like why should I buy them now if I know I won't be able to get the rest of them and okay the only reason I want to buy them is I watch that stupid anime that has no winding it's like poor you poor me exactly all right well what's well that I think that's about it for our stuff that's about everything we certainly were excited there yes oh hell yeah I'm excited to start seeing them in stores again it's like shit I'm going to be spending an ass on a money towards all I know now I finally been watching now I am a happy point I'm a happy camper because I've got my bills all straight note I finally getting some money to spend for myself now it's like ah perfect timing has a perfect timing indeed bring it on baby that's a lot of good stuff coming indeed I mean it I'm just really excited to see that stuff back in stores coming like I've seen it um you know like FYE or stuff like that and there's been a lot of Jenny on sales getting rid of all this you know buy one get one free or buy two get two free or whatever and um you know pretty nice to finally see him back and I'm kind of curious about the pricing I hope they're kind of I think it's 25 24 yeah and there was one other thing I'm kind of thinking about with terms of the getting and stuff it's like which shows like Shanna or Zero No Succama where there's multiple seasons there's a second season of Shanna out now and there's a third season of Zero about to start like this week probably I don't know exactly when so it's like with that kind of stuff it wouldn't shock me to see um getting and keep producing them because then they can you know keep all the dubs and everything consistent um just a few notes here from uh another and Kadoja uh has been in limbo for the longest time um Funimation is still trying to figure out what they want to do with the series and how to kind of resurrect it see I'll tell you what it is they're probably fighting with themselves like internally they probably want to do a um uh what am I trying to say a like sub only you're set release for but they've never really done that so it's probably like this thing for them to decide whether or not they're willing to do it do you know what happened I mean like I didn't they only licensed the first half of the series oh okay because it seems like they like run the hell out of that show I mean like when there was the Funimation channel on dish network uh Kadoja is one of the series they showed and like you cannot I mean then they came up with a box set for Kadoja it's the first it's a hundred and series is a hundred and two episodes yep and they've released like 51 of them correct and they're probably like trying to decide exactly how they want to do it I would I would really hope they continue going on with the dub root just because the dub work was so well done I mean I think what it goes down to is if they think it's worth the money yeah I kind of be curious to see what the sales for that show is probably weren't too hot no um darker than blue oh sorry go ahead no you go ahead first darker than black will be showing up on store shelves on November 25th that's one that's been sitting around for a while sure yeah I wonder what took them so that was probably one of them once what this probably was close to the same shit that they had to deal with with or on where they were having a hard time getting materials for it yeah this is the same thing um yeah you just said they were you know the head to delay it delay it um negma ova the negma ova in season two don't have firm dates just yet but they're hoping to get it out by the end of this year oh probably be out the end like in November and then season two or it's not really season two the second series will come out probably oh excellent uh or on hosts the or on uh release we'll be hitting store shelves on October 28th of this year for black care about over on there you go oh there's yeah exactly so um yeah oh there was one other piece of news that i i forgot and that was kadokawa USA has announced they have lice they've oh duh how can we forget that six series um june choromantika spice and wolf rental magic uh uh my heartfelt sympathy you know mea koon h2o and something called kuar guardian which i've never heard and you were just asking about and basic the thing with them is that um kadokawa USA is is essentially the same as how guinea and it's they um produce them in and have someone else distribute but they're the ones that hold the rights to lucky star uh and um harui so it's and they haven't announced who's distributing any of these but they have announced they hold the licenses for and i was just saying to you before we started recording a decent amount of that stuff i'd like to buy spice and wolf um and h2o at least and yeah true tears wouldn't be bad to go along with that you know true tears is one of the ones that band i visual oh my bad they're so freaking close to each other so easy to get mixed up uh people prefer true tears i'm going to be honest here confess that i actually liked h2o more overall oh but um spice and wolf in that at least rental magical was okay it was kind of one of those titles of like it kills time it was all right and it had a really weak ending gotcha an anemia kun has a lot of um boobs excellent yeah a lot of boobs and singing and stuff uh singing no the good kind all right it's not going to be like uh um like a dancing an icon then you're not going to be like an icon brother everybody call it i heard that con brothers yes no it's i mean that kind kind of um you know not touching your two or man to go for obvious reasons you want some yaoi no i don't yes you do find without it huh that's all that news there with that one exactly hey what do you know kadouja has another box set coming out and uh august fifth yeah that's probably the rest of what they have ah gotcha you have 50 episodes it was probably released in two cents ah yeah you're right and well and with that we'll move on to our dvd it's another week and more dvds are being released what should you get it's time for the weekly dvd mix yes really good one there's other stuff but okay damn there's actually two really good ones coming out this week oh yeah you're right and there's two that aren't coming out this week at all oh if you look at aodey yeah it's release list yeah but this is actually a really tough call this week we got there's two really nice things on there i'm going to say i'm going to say garm logon yeah garm logon because i'm not a huge fan of the other show that's coming out i like the animated series but but i know i don't know garm logon with you know i think it's nine episodes subtitle only 30 bucks or or 40 for a limited edition that comes with like a cd or something man but all right since he chose that one i'm going to choose the other one and that is batman gotham night which is coming out on dvd and blue ray come on your ps your ps3 is veggie is a friggin must buy and basically what it is is it's essentially um the prequel to the three dark anime um yeah basically a prequel to the dark to the dark night um yeah basically that's what it is an anime based prequel for the dark night the movie that's coming out in a couple weeks that's going to be psychotically awesome and i am like and it's like something i have to buy well there you go and i'm broke this week so i'm going to cry a little bit and buy it anyway do i have to ship you money ship me money i'm going to ship you some money putting i'm going to put it in a in a shoebox and put some you need a good shoebox man yeah it's a pool more shoebox damn silent exactly but yes that man gotham night on blue ray for the win for the win indeed get that and get psychotic getting more pumped for the dark night in a couple weeks god i cannot wait to see that movie yeah bears are saving up you're gonna be you're gonna go over and over and over you're gonna go like come back and do the podcast like i've seen it 19 times in two days i don't think i'll see it more than twice i only saw transformers three times so i don't think i'm gonna ever see anything more than that hello hey sorry so yeah that's our dvd picks of the week yippie skippy and i don't know if you've watched anything i started watching the wallflower and i thought about doing an overview i've only watched two episodes but i can already kind of see where it's going um but i have not watched anything to be honest i've been so lazy about watching anime i've just been i hear you doing other stuff i have watched one thing and then as i have watched the first episode of sickie ray came out day or two ago and i checked it out and i was overall pretty satisfied with it it's pretty darn close to the manga to say that it's really close oh wow so it's like it's like perfectly accurate and all that kind of stuff with the giant boobs and the shirts that conveniently rip right at the nipples yeah that kind of thing i don't know i continued watching more dirty pair it's good to see you watching something old yeah hey the dub work is freaking awesome that was adv too i think yep old school yes so i was watching some dirty pair some ronma one half i've been watching a lot of i've been going through the second season box set and it's just one thing after another jesus christ how many people can hate ronma where's the channel i swear to god it's like moose shampoo shampoo ri yoga who else i mean jesus christ like everyone knows ronma apparently is one popular dude everyone wants to fight him everyone wants to fight him yeah i want male or female form yes you sick freak um yes i'm trying to get i'm trying to get i'm going to try to get the last five boxets before they go to printer wherever happens to them they haven't even finished releasing them yeah they yeah they have yeah they have they're done no one step oh seven isn't out yet seven's not out yet oh very soon now okay either way forty bucks a pop it's one of those things where i can't fly 29th there you go forty bucks a pop though yeah you can't really turn that down if you like ronma well so far i've had the box i've had the second season box set for five six months now i'm only on the third disc out of five so what does that tell you it's one of those shows where it's a repetitive show i've noticed you'll notice it even more after five seasons yes seven seasons yes with no ending no i've been taking a break from death note because i haven't been able to find the episodes that i'm missing in between the episodes i have oh yeah one little thing is this said that i forget when sometimes towards the end of the year they're going to release a box set of the first half of death no for the first 20 episodes they should just do the full by the time it's done they don't have it they're doing singles for the show yeah i know but still it's basically they're probably going to release the first half box set along with like the next single or something like that because you know it's so big they can release singles and guaranteed to make plenty of money off of them all right anything that airs on it looks like i'll pick it up i'll pick up the box that i'm not yeah any hurry good show i'm pretty much done with singles for anything yeah same here once i finish off once i finish off the stuff i have i'm done i'm not starting anything else uh i'm kind of the same way i'm kind of just i don't know i've been really lazy about watching anime lately just gonna busy with so much other things it's kind of been like i want to sit down to watch anime just not be in the mood for anything well i'm gonna kind of frustrate it because i don't want to freaking read uh watch my anime i've kind of decided right now is i'm gonna stick to like the two couple shows i'm watching fan subbed which is like um solider maid guy solider maid guy seci ray and then zero nosecama and maybe blade of the immortal and made guys almost over and solider i've kind of been lax on and gotten a bit behind and i might let myself go even further behind in just a marathon in one day yeah i'm finally watch of the episode i think six i've watched that even eight i think and i think it's at like 13 or 14 now yeah but like what i wanted to is i was actually looking at my DVDs and i have a lot of unwatched stuff that i really i am the same way i just my brother unloaded 23 DVDs on me for free i was gonna give him 20 bucks he's like yeah fuck i got for a dollar 50 piece don't worry about it i got the entire singles release of samurai seven uh and tuma came in freaking pronounce it's over the tea like tajuki or they're jenny on titles they were practically all jenny on titles so no i know samurai seven isn't it's funimation they just released a thin pack of it actually or a birdie collection yes i mean to get the DVDs of that sometime i don't have it can you believe that man man but do watch out there basically what i was looking at i was looking at my shelf and i just count it off all the unwatched or unfinished stuff i have and it's like from here when i can't get close to my room i can see at least five shows incomplete that i haven't finished watching and that kind of thing at least five six seven eight something like that that's a lot of stuff i'm kind in the same boat but i'm kind of not it's going to the point where i haven't bought any DVDs and so long i mean it's been last DVDs i bought i think i picked up kite from half price the half price books you know i'm probably gonna sit here and watch that here soon but uh stuff that i have been sitting here for a while and it's like it's mostly stuff i've had sitting for a long time it's not really stuff i bought recently for the most part you know there's stuff i want to watch but i end up losing a hard drive crash so like stuff like burst angel i was probably not buying the complete well hey i'm not made of money i want to buy it but go buy that with already in collection you can probably pick that up for like 30 bucks somewhere now there you go or the thin pack i can easily find the thin pack still yeah most of the thin packs for the funimation stuff is pretty easy to find readily available yeah most of it a couple of the earlier ones aren't quite anymore like viral yes no fun yeah any more nope they like clearance that one i've actually noticed i went to best buy the day and holy fuck there's a lot of boxets and or like limited edition seriously a whole mess of stuff from 80v now too yay it's all going to be box sets of old stuff and that's a whole bunch they got one of those i don't know if you remember this last year 80v released those tens oh yeah and um not yes yes the naudio one was limited i i really wish i bought it i'm gonna have to like track it down somewhere because i really want that one you know what i thought they're gonna do a tin release for um this ugly beautiful world why it's only three yet but it's only three discs because they can make more money off it that's stupid i mean i like to show why i need to buy the i'm pissed i have the first two discs i was gonna buy the entire set one night but assholes like broke into the remaining two discs that were volume three and stole them so i never got a chance to finish off the series i had to rent the last i had to rent the last but anyway i hate a good show but tin worthy i don't know it's i don't know i i don't know the whole series is kind of convoluted and it is kind of i'll give you that but i i like the way it looked to say the least near nudity of uh sorry my cat like in my face like grubbing on me she's all loving on me on yes at me they've announced more and more box sets yep which is fine for me there's some stuff actually i'll gladly buy box people there's some stuff that i want older stuff from them that i never picked up even in box sets because i don't know it's just expensive even their box sets are a little more expensive than eight animations i still need like i still need to get full metal panic oh i should just freaking like mail you them and let you watch them and send them back i have like two copies of fumafu i have i'll freaking sell you a copy of fumafu um yeah i mean i get the fin pack and the singles in a box set um you know oh i was gonna uh anyway what's gonna mention i went to the pawn shop about three months ago and you know all they have certain box sets behind uh lock and key sure they had well they got like tv box sets yeah lock and key they had the ava tin box set for $99 and then i opened i asked them to open up i looked at it it's just they were um yeah they was just a freaking release with a fucking tin yeah that's how they are and i'm just like can i give you five bucks for the tin box i already own all the DVDs like unfortunately not you're not to buy them both i'm like f that i'll buy it new then for $99 yeah that's the thing i'd only one of those that i had any desire for was the Nadia one but that's because that's an older show and it's only been and it doesn't it doesn't have a thin pack release out for it it's just got that tin it's like i want it and i didn't buy it and i wrote that one i think i'll start watching more uh these newer releases there's sub oh or yeah sub only i have a 19 inch wide screen that i watch it from and like admittedly for me i have a 52 inch rear projection like i said but i can't sit on my couch and relax and read the tv yeah so i have to like crowd over my freaking monitor so i'm going to be probably buying a 30 inch LCD for my pc and then be able to at least enjoy them comfortably so it's kind of kind of frustrating for me just because i when i want to watch something i'd rather be comfortable laying on the couch enjoying it that having to read everything yeah here i think more and more and more is for going to dub and we'll just do a quick we snuff animation yeah exactly yay animation yeah well well i'm excited to see those in store um i'm gonna be keeping an eye out for them exactly i think that wraps up for this show we really didn't have much in store really a x news was about it and we talked about a x news quite a bit though amen to that um it was some freaking exciting news too for that man indeed indeed i'm happy indeed i am yes indeed this is a very this is a very good uh a x and i'm kind of curious what's next for the comic con dimension and uh oticon what what announcements could they say at oticon i mean the animation will just have new licenses in
