Federal prosecutors say they've broken up a gun trafficking ring which was buying guns in the Beckley area and transporting them to Philadelphia where some were used in serious criminal activity. The convoy protesting Covid regs will pass near the Eastern Pan handle today and link up with another coming out of the Northeast--all headed toward Washington. Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito are among those urging President Biden to cut off importing fossil fuels from Russia. From the Legislature the House passes a version of the budget which includes cuts to the state income tax and a Charleston attorney files a class action lawsuit against Suddenlink. In Sports, the slots are filled for the Girls State High School basketball tourney are filled up and the Mountain East Conference tournament continues in Wheeling.
