Lawmakers worked through a number of high profile bills at the Legislature on Wednesday--getting some of them through by the "crossover" deadline--others did not make it.. Also more action as Covid numbers dwindle, Governor Jim Justice will deactivate National Guard members who had been assisting in hospitals in the state amid staffing shortages. Overdose deaths are down in West Virginia and the Mountain State continue to pay tribute and lift support for the people of Ukraine. In Sports, the bracket for next week's girls state tournament is almost filled out--and the Mountain East Conference tournament is underway in Wheeling, plus Marshall Falls in it's final home game of the season.
