The state Department of Tourism now has a fund to help attract development to the New River Gorge as interest in the development is soaring after the National Park designation. State tax officials say they'll move about 140 downtown Charleston employees to a permanent work from home situation after great results from the situation forced by the pandemic--which can now be done at a substantial cost savings. The Mayor of Cameron says his city and it's people are struggling to overcome major flooding last week which caused a lot of damage. A fatal shooting in Taylor County remains under investigation and a special response team will be sent to Romney to deal with problems identified in a recent audit.
