Lawmakers burn the midnight oil and the state Senate narrowly passes a reworked plan aimed at reducing and eliminating the state income tax. The Senate also reworked the budget and sent it back to the House. The Legislative session ends Saturday at midnight, but the Governor has given authorization for another day if needed for budget work.
