This is The Trending Now Report on Wood Radio. President Biden continues to face backlash over his debate performance, former President Trump. Yesterday on Fox's Hannity on the phone, saying something was strange when the debate began. When he started to speak, I don't know. I thought his voice was weak. I didn't know exactly what was happening. It was strange. White House announcing that President Biden sees a neurologist as part of an annual medical exam, and press secretary Kareem Jean-Pierre noted the president's most recent exam. From the report most recently in February, an extremely detailed neurological exam was again reassuring in that there were no findings which would be consistent with any cerebellar or other central neurological disorders. House Speaker Mike Johnson, speaking on threats to the United States, led international order at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C. saying the world faces an interconnected global threat in the almost 40 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Thanks to America's policy of peace through strength, those sounds of war, the interconnected global conflict had mostly been silent. But that is no longer the case. Speaker says Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to stop his offensive in Ukraine, and Chinese President Xi made it clear of his interest to expand his communist foothold. The Wall Street Journal said Michigan's Isle Royale National Park is the best public land in the country, ranking it number one out of 63 National Parks. The W.S.J. called it an unexpected winner when you consider it has beaten out Yellowstone, Zion and Yosemite. Isn't that incredible? Yeah. So maybe consider that as a little last minute summer road trip. Well, one of the things that you won't see a lot of at Isle Royale people, and that's the thing that gets in the way. Oh, yeah. Yosemite and all those other places. Oh, Zion is like Disney. Yeah. Taking over nature. And that's where you see a lot of these that Darwin award people with their camera phones and Buffalo. I always root for the Buffalo. I do too. Every time. I mean, it's sad. I'm like, get him. It's sad. And then there's a pain cleaning out the house. But come on now. It's a Buffalo. It's a real inconvenience. At the end of the show, yesterday we got the announcement. Congratulations. The Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame has a new class to induct for 2024. Five members. I know three of them very well and covered them are interacted with them. But Mary Cicerone, former Cooper'sville basketball standout who later starred at the University of Detroit Mercy and became Michigan's witness girls high school basketball coach at Bloomfield Hills, Marion Bill Dufek, who starred in football and wrestling at East Grand Rapids. High school was an all American football defense back at U of M. Allison Fauch of East Grand Rapids won three times nerd all American honors in golf at Michigan State played six seasons on the LPGA tour. Joe Staley, standout athlete at Rockford who played college football at CMU was drafted 28th over on played 13 years for the San Francisco 49ers and finally Jimmy Carter. No, not that Jimmy Carter who was a high school standout basketball player at the now defunct South High School then served as an assistant coach at Ottawa Hills, Crusted and Union, but most notably at the end of his career, girls high school basketball coach at East - Ah.
