If you're thinking about the Lakeshore for your 4th of July holiday, the National Weather Service warning swimmers of the possibility of cold water, shock and even hypothermia after water temps in Lake Michigan dipped almost 20 degrees from Sunday into Monday. Bowie readings show that the temps went from the mid and upper 60s to the low 50s. Yeah, now here's the good news. There's southerly winds that are moving in today and tomorrow, so they hope as the days continue, those water temps will warm back up, but just be very aware that you could have a very, very cold dip if you suddenly jump in and that can shock the body at those temps. Yeah, not good to do that. Kids can, you know, wade in right at the beach. Right, like if you have nerve endings, which kids obviously don't, as an adult, you just want to take your time. NBA free agency was going crazy again. It has since Sunday, but Boston Celtics star Jason Tatum, fresh off their NBA championship has agreed on a five year, $314 million extension. That is the largest contract in NBA history. Do the math there, it's about 63 million a year, not too bad, and he's 26 years old as he led Boston to its 18th NBA title. Also, the other big news, what was gonna happen with guard Clay Thompson from Golden State? Well, he agreed on a three year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks ending his historic 13 year round with a four time champion Golden State Warriors and looking at Dallas and saying, "Maybe I can put them over the hump.
