Three people in custody after they allegedly shot and killed in Oakland County Michigan Sheriff's Deputy, Bradley Reckling. That was on Saturday, as you heard with Tony, I'm sorry, with Anthony in the newsroom, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bushard. Individuals exited that stolen vehicle and opened fire in our deputy. It was an ambush. Deputy Reckling, a nine-year veteran of the force, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint session of Congress July 24 as his country continues to fight off Hamas and Hezbollah in Gaza. Here is Senator Lindsey Graham. Congress is voted in a bipartisan way to give Israel the bombs and the missiles they need to win a war they can't afford to lose. And we will be looking over Biden's shoulder to see if he's honoring the commitments made by Congress. Graham says the debate will only embolden Hamas and is a form of aiding and abetting the enemy. And the first presidential debate between President Biden and former President Trump is set for this Thursday on CNN on Meet the Press. Here is Mitch Landrieu, who is Biden's campaign co-chair. The fact of the matter is that the sky is blue sometimes and Donald Trump is a convicted felon. And the American people have to sit in that for a second. And speaking of looking ahead to that presidential debate Thursday night, CBS News has come out with a new poll that finds the majority of voters under 30 say some of their biggest problems include buying a home, raising a family and getting a good job. A survey that was published yesterday found 82% of respondents say they think it's more difficult to purchase a home than it was for previous generations. 76% said the same thing about raising a family. Of course, the Federal Reserve's interest rate is something that has young voters very, very concerned as well as inflation and those mortgage rates making it near impossible for a majority of young voters to get into that first time home buyer mentality. They're also finding it very challenging to find a good paying job despite a may jobs report that looked pretty good. It's very interesting. Some more of those numbers are up at woodradio.com also Tony and you may have missed this on Friday, but Barry Sanders revealed to his fans that he suffered a health scare related to his heart over Father's Day weekend. Sanders didn't divulge what the exact issue was, but the 55 year old said it was unexpected and said it was a reminder to be diligent about one's health even when we are feeling fine. Sanders doctors reportedly recommend he prioritize his health and well-being and he thanked his health care professionals who provided him care and his fans for their support. I'm sure there will be more to come on this soon from him.
