Now fellow athletes are on the sidewalk here at the intersection of Portland and Hampshire streets. It's where 24 year old men team Nguyen was struck by a turning truck while riding her bike on Friday. The MIT student later passed away from her injuries. This is the second bicyclist death in two weeks in the city. Jackie lives nearby and stop to look at the makeshift memorial. I turn right every day to get on my street. I can't see the bikes that are coming when I turn. So, like, I do. I mean, you have to be so careful because the park guys are blocking that visibility. So I don't know if that was going to happen, but. It just says that bicycle safety advocates are calling for better infrastructure. Meanwhile, a vigil will be held tonight at City Hall in Cambridge, James Rojas W. B. Z. Boston's news radio at 602. Just in this morning overseas, regulators from the European Union accusing Apple of breaking new rules on digital competition by preventing software developers on their app stores, steering users to other venues. Just the latest accusation coming against Apple from the European Commission, the violations of what's called the Digital Markets Act could come with it. Heavy fines and penalties overseas across the nation at 27 block. Taylor Swift got more than the bargain for Taylor Swift fans at last night showing London Travis Kelsey in a tux and top hat carrying swift onto the stage at Wembley Stadium for her. I can do it with a broken heart outfit change. Her Kansas City chief's boyfriend smiled ear to ear as he stepped in for the time of the year. She said she didn't know what she was going to do with her sister. The dancer who usually does the job. Well, testimony resuming today at the Carren Reed murder trial witnesses for the defense taking the stand and the jury is expected to begin deliberations very soon. The prosecution rested their case Friday after eight weeks of testimony and 68 witnesses. The defense then called three witnesses, a plow driver responsible for working fair view road in that area where General Keith's body was discovered. Brian Lachren said he didn't see a body when he was in the area between 2 and 6 a.m. The second defense witness forensic pathologist Dr. Marie Russell an expert on dog bite stating she believed the injuries to O'Keeffe's arm was sustained by an animal. Digital forensics expert Richard Green, the final witness called by the defense testifying about Apple health data found in O'Keeffe's foam. So barring a change, the defense is expected to call three more witnesses Monday, Reed's defense attorney Alan Jackson telling WBZ TV. I think we're going to be done on Monday. We have a problem. A Florida family whose house was hit by a chunk of space junk earlier this year. It's now suing NASA. A cylindrical object tore through the home of Alejandro Otero in Naples, Florida on March 8th. It happened while he was on vacation. The object was subsequently taken to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral for analysis, and it was found to be a metal support used to mount old batteries on a cargo pallet for disposal. It was expected to eventually fully burn up on entry into Earth's atmosphere, but one piece survived. The family sites damages for non issued property, business interruption, emotional and mental anguish, and the cost of assistance from third party agencies. Matt Piper CBS News, meantime, SpaceX is celebrating two more successful launches over the weekend. Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida carrying 22 Starling satellites.
