My Turkey: Bell's Seasoning Mix, Bacon I cook and add to the tray that the Turkey goes in, peeled garlic, some garlic powder, sweet basil, and pink Himalayan salt are what I use for the turkey. I may hickory smoke it as an end-of-cooking enhancement, but probably not this time. I begin the first 2 hours at 300 degrees F, and then lower it to 275 for the rest of the cook time.
