The proof of your being justified is the resurrection of Jesus
The proof of your sins being forgiven is the death of Jesus
When you are in doubt, you only need to ask the questions:
Did Jesus die for me on that cross? Yes/No? - Yes
Did I give my life to Jesus and have made Him my Lord and saviour? Yes/No – Yes
If these 2 questions get the answers “Yes” – then your sins are forgiven.
Heb 9:26 TPT says: for that would mean he must suffer repeatedly ever since the fall of the world. But now he has appeared at the fulfillment of the ages to abolish sin once and for all by the sacrifice of himself!
