Meditate to Elevate Day 3 - I am guided by the Lord to make wise decisions

“And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.”
Isaiah 58:11 AMPC
Suppose your very good friend just moved to a new house and you wanted to go visit him/her. The natural thing to do is to ask for the new house address and usually if you have not familiar with that part of town, you will need a guide. In the 21st century, you would use your satnav or Google maps or Waze etc to guide you there. Imagine how sweet your life will be if you allow God to guide you in every decision you need to make and what you need to do? You would not waste time and run around in circles.
The guide even becomes more important while travelling on an unknown terrain. Is there a decision that you need to make and you feel confused? Let the wisdom of God lead you. He has promised to. He is just waiting for you to agree to let Him do what He desires to do for you. Would you?
Let’s meditate to elevate:
Step into the theatre of your mind. Imagine you are in your car. A beautiful clean car with a Satnav equipment mounted on the screen before you. Imagine that what you need to make decisions for is now the post code that you have keyed into the satnav. As the Satnav searches for the best route to get you to the destination, you wait - trusting the outcome and knowing that even if the selected route gets blocked, the Satnav will do its job in getting to your destination on time. Relish the feeling you have now in your heart knowing the Satnav will always do it’s job. As the car drives out, hold that feeling of assurance that you will get to your destination safely, on time and through the best route.
Now, slowly replace the image of the Satnav with that of God. Have the same assurance that if the Satnav can’t fail to take you to your destination, surely God can do a better job! Even if there are roadblocks on the way, just continue to trust the process and keep declaring this truth in your heart, over and over again!
Mutter these words under your breath: “The wisdom of God is now leading me through the best pathway for my life. I am guided continually by the Lord”
Action: What actions do you need to take today to cooperate with God knowing fully well that He will never fail to work all things out for your good?
Also, remember to cut off words like “I am confused” from your vocabulary!
