Eph 1:4 says "And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence".Read that again, please. God chose you before He created the universe. Your selection predates the creation of the world but for what purpose were you thus chosen and ordained? So that YOU WILL BE SEEN AS HOLY IN HIS EYES. How? With an unstained innocence.  As far as God is concerned, you possess an unstained innocence as a believer in Christ. God's choice of you is not contingent on your behaviour but rather on the faithfulness of Jesus. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, God declares you holy. To be holy is to be set apart.   Come, learn the biblical definition of holiness and how that affects the way you live your life.
