Say it, believe it, do it, receive it and tell it - introduction

So, let’s look at how to make SBDRT work for you:
Say it - say what God says about you and the situation.
Believe it - let what you have heard with your ears be meditated upon in your heart to affect your belief system. The God kind of faith or belief comes by repeatedly hearing the Word of God (Rom 10:17). The Passion Translation says it this way: “Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.” Faith is produced by hearing the words from the mouth of the Messiah. This means the God kind of faith, that moved mountains or achieves the impossible, is predicated on the right view of God and what He represents to us now as modelled by the life, the death, the burial, the resurrection, and the ascension of the Lord Jesus. Let your heart be renewed with these truths as you remove the old lies and replace with the truth.
Do it - the doing is the action we take in response to faith. As believers, God expects to do what He asked to do to lay hold of what He has graciously provided. God will not do for you what He asks you to do. Let me illustrate: when God said that we should rebuke the devil (James 4:7), you know it is useless asking God to rebuke the devil for you. God already defeated the devil, now He is asking you as “the enforcer” to work with Him to manifest the results. The “doing” is our responsibility in responding to what God has already done. In the Aramaic culture of the Bible, belief of the heart always leads to an action. There was never a concept of believing without acting. James 2:14-26 illustrates this succinctly when it says Abraham proved his faith in Jehovah by acting out that faith. James 2:17 TPT says: “So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony”. If you believe, you must act. In fact, everybody acts out of their belief system. This is not acting as a function of performance Christianity but acting in response to what has already been made available to me.
Faith that doesn’t involve action is phony
Receive it - God moves to our acts of faith. God is a faith God who created everything by His words of faith. In receiving from God, we trust that God always responds to actions done in faith. Faith in who or what? Faith in His Son and what He has achieved for us at Calvary. Since faith is of the heart, we receive first from God at the heart level. When we act in faith, God always moves to release what we believed Him for in faith.
Tell it - the purpose of tell it is to share the testimonies of what God has done for you so that others can be encouraged to know that God, who is no respecter of persons, can do for one person what He has done for another. Telling it is giving glory to God by filling the atmosphere with words that speak of the goodness of God.
So, daily we will introduce a concept to you, and then provide you with a new covenant view of such concept and we will expect you to SBDRT it. Make sure that you do the daily affirmations. It is crucial to write God’s truth in your heart.
