The Light's House Podcast

#2 - From here to a place called there

God always makes provision available to you on the journey of life. We must learn to identify these provisions through a dependence on the Holy Spirit. When Elijah was asked to go to Zarephath, he was able to identify the widow of Zarephath through his relationship with God.

The widow was a destiny helper chosen by God to preserve Elijah's life.

As Elijah moved from here to a place called there, he depended on God's faithfulness to sustain him there. You may be thinking that your help has to come from a particular source, this message challenges that. God is able to help you through any means.

Elijah was helped by a woman living in Sidon (a non-Israelite - see Mt 15:21-28 for confirmation that Sidon is not part of Isreal). Your help is coming outside of your circle, outside of your church, outside of your folks. If God can use the butler to help Joseph get to the palace (Gen 41:9-end), He can do it for you.If He can use Cyrus to restore the Israelites (Is 45:1-7), He will. If He used David to restore Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9), He will.
