[MUSIC PLAYING] From Bucks Pocket to the shores of Orange Beach, at all points in between, an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff Porsche show. I don't think Hank got it this way. [MUSIC PLAYING] Good morning, and welcome to the Jeff Porsche show. And if we talk 106.5, it is Monday, Monday. But it's a short week. So glad you could be with us today. 2513430106, you want to be in touch with the show? I got to do is text me, and we will respond to whatever it is on your mic. Kind of a busy day here. And any second now, we're going to get the ruling on Trump's immunity. I don't know. The media seemed really amped up about this one. And there's a big crowd assembled there in front of the Supreme Court building there in Washington DC. So as soon as I know, you'll know. But the Trump immunity ruling, any moment now, on the show today, coming up here is about a half hour for WV&N. You'll have reduced del Jackson. You'll want to stick around for that. We'll kick him off for first here today, because-- well, we're going to let go on today. Also, Caroline Dobson and Judy Barlow needed as usual times. So Caroline Dobson, coming up at the 10 o'clock hour, and as I mentioned, Judy Barlow from the East Shore Republican Women's Club, going to hang out here at the Fair Hope Bureau, and then 11 o'clock hour for a little while, talk about their events, and kind of get a reaction, some things going on in politics. So we'll see. We'll talk about that. So please make sure you stick around. Once again, text on 2513430106, now that we get that out of the way. A few things here. Once we get Trump immunity, we'll give you the reaction to that. The rumors continue to swirl about Joe Biden. I'll say this. I was listening to the guy's mobile warnings last hour. This is the week. If you've got to do it, to drop out. Wednesday afternoon, news dump. I don't think-- I mean, it's like jumping from a-- this W.D. equivalent of jumping from a 30-story building and having a pillow to land on. This is just going to rock the political world at the Democratic nominee for president, drops out this late in the game. But if you've got to do it, I guess it's better than nothing. But it was in Dalton Orick talk about that, the news dump, patriotic. You can frame it that way. I don't think people are going to buy it. I mean, think about-- I was thinking about this. Like, last, let's see, it was 2024. So probably for the last quarter century, I've dedicated my life to conservative calls. Not my life, but my career, my life. Obviously, you've got other things going on in your career. Well, you see, that's your career. And the party elders, the Democratic party establishment, forces a guy like Biden upon you. What if that wasn't a Republican party that forced a sort of half out of a guy, there's much better options in a country this big to be your party's nominee on you? I think you're seeing some frustration from Liberal Incorporated. I think you're seeing some frustration from the MSNBC types. You've got the establishment in the Democratic party right now. That's some of the political figures you see. I say Josh Shapiro in Pennsylvania, Whitmer in Michigan, the sub-degree Kamala Harris. But she's not really pulling in these days. But just kind of go down to your Huzu Gavin Newsom, Huzu Democrats, a Federman. I don't know. He's trying to work his way to the establishment, probably not. But anyway, all these guys are like, they got Joe Biden's back. They got Joe Biden's back here. And you're not seeing a lot of pushback from within the political class. Elected officials, very few. In fact, I am actually kind of stunned at how many of these Democrats have rallied to Biden's side. I mean, typically, this is like a rat so we're fighting over a piece of cheese or something for power in a Democratic party. They were able to call it some favors here. I would be interested in knowing who is calling in the favors. So let's get to the other side of the equation. Here's what's fascinating, but I don't know who. So maybe you saw Bill O'Reilly, my former boss, Stucker Carlson, some of these guys in Fox News World, Fox News World, that is, are formally in Fox News World or say any moment now Biden's going to drop out. There's somebody in Obama's orbit who is peddling that fiction. That's what I've been told. So anyway, Democrats had disarray, and you don't really have good leadership at the very top, do you? With Joe Biden and the House of Cards is starting to fall apart. The January 6th narrative, all of this is like we've been screaming about how this is fiction and democracy for the last three years, and this narrative built the media. I don't think there's a lot of media out there that believed Biden was fine. They knew that maybe he wasn't hitting on all cylinders, but he was good enough. I ain't going to have it Thursday night, took a lot of people by surprise. I think there's a lot of people that do that this was a disaster into making and allowed it to happen, but the MSNBC times when they saw that they were true believers, guys, they really believe in the power government, the power of the media, the power of all these institutions, and that they could create the world they want based on just textbook theory or whatever. I think they were called off guard. I either called off guard by just how unprepared he was, but the media reaction has been fascinating, and you got people kind of in different places trying to start apart. Here's what you need to know, though. Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, the Biden family. I don't know. Buddy, Brian, Bill, Brian, Joe Biden, all his Joe, Brian, junior. I don't know. Anybody that wants to say Biden these days is telling him to stay in this thing. I think he stays in. I can be totally wrong. I see people are still giving him money. Race $27 million after the debate, Joe Biden did. Look, it's also this. It's only July, July 1st. It's only July 1st. And there's a long way to November. 2513430106. Text me. Let me know what you're thinking. I still think he sticks around. He's still raising money. People are still sending him money. Some of you Democrats that listed this show-- Gene, for example. Have you ever-- if you had the money to give to Joe Biden's presidential campaign, would you give it to Joe Biden, or would you kind of wait till the next whoever they stick in his spot? Look, whoever they stick in, Biden does battle out. Whoever they stick in that spot's done. I mean, they're not going to win. That's why I don't think you'll see Michelle Obama do some et cetera be the Democrat nominee, because they don't want to be the loser this time around. But she has no name ID. All these names are hearing. They have no name ID. So if he does drop out, whoever they put in that place is just going to be a sacrificial amp. So anybody with any real presidential aspirations is not going to-- it would be Kamala Harris. And she's just going to get beat. It's funny listening to some of these guys talk about this, that Joe Biden is the only one who can win this election against Donald Trump. This is what you need to know, guys. This is what it all boils down to. If it's all about the man, then what's wrong with the policy? If it's the only person who can beat Donald Trump is Joe Biden. Do people don't believe in what you're selling or just voting for a person? Did the liberal values-- did you're acknowledging that? That your values, that your belief system, that your philosophy, your governing philosophy, isn't good enough? That you're totally discounting that, and you're having to put a person as the face of that philosophy. And that's what people are going to vote for. Because I think there are conservatives out there who are conservatives that don't really like Donald Trump, and they're still going to vote for him. That they don't like this woke-- this woke is sort of taken hold of the Democratic Party in 2024. That's what you need to know. Whenever you hear somebody say that, and Chris Coons and Senator from Delaware was out there saying this, then Joe Biden is the only person who can beat Donald Trump. Then it's not about what Joe Biden is for. It's about-- and I don't even know if it's about him or what he was saying there. But I know he wasn't saying, well, Joe Biden's belief system. Joe Biden's values. Joe Biden's belief in student loan forgiveness, and amnesty, and economic policy, and his golf handicap, or whatever, all that stuff doesn't matter. What matters is the person who's going to-- I mean, do we really think that he's calling the shots? He's just kind of in the face of the Biden administration. I mean, there's somebody else running into country, as a coach, Tuberville, or Senator Tuberville, I should say, says that it's probably the deep state, to see administrative state. Even that's starting to fall apart. I mean, it's kind of for the past. This country was headed to the very bad place with a bureaucracy that was very far out on the left, very far out of the mainstream of what people in this country believe, and an elected bureaucracy with my idea. And I'm not saying that the electorate is a bunch of, like, rabid, right-wing, tea party, John Berkshire types at all. But they're a little more to the right than what the government is. Ideologically. And when there's that sort of disproportionate view on the world, what do they think was going to happen in all this is kind of tumbling down? So see, when somebody's Supreme Court cases go-- I mean, they're literally-- they put vanity gel today. They already got to borrow each other. Literally, jelly political opponents. You may get away with that once or twice, but it's not sustainable in the long term. History tells us that. We'll be right back. This is a flip-talk, 106.5. [MUSIC PLAYING] Through those out of bed, I'm fine. [MUSIC PLAYING] Living on the road, my friend, was going to keep you free and clean. Look about it to the Jumpboard Show. What if and talk about those 6.5? Good Monday morning to you. 2.5, 1.3, 4.3, 0.1, 0.6. Dale Jackson, coming up in the next segment. So please make sure you stick around for that. Oh, let's see here. Paul can. I hope Joe doesn't quit. Aye, if you're Republican, you kind of want that, right? There's no way he can win. I mean, after that debate, it's over. It's just the-- if Joe Biden stays in this, then it has to be this. It has to be how much does he lose by. And if he loses by a big, big margin, if he loses by, like, 12 points, a popular vote, I mean, the Democratic Party is really going to have a civil war. They have staved off the civil war. Probably going back to it since Obama left office. Those people are just kind of rallying around Obama. But, well, it made me the first skirmish was Obama, Clinton, you know, in '08. But we really haven't had, like, an ugly civil world Democrat side, like you have on the Republican side. You had a real ugly one with Trump kind of burst on the scene. I mean, look at, like, our friend Quinn Hillier there. I mean, it has taken a toll on him. You know, I remember him back during the Clinton stuff and then at the press register. I mean, it really, when Trump came on the scene, it really did a number on the Republican Party. Democrats haven't had anything like that. They're about to, I think. It's due. You can't have, like, you got your tree huggers over here. You got your LBTQ folks over here. You got your, like, a valid socialist redistribution to wealthers. Yeah, just an elite smart set to just states are better than you because they listed NPR. I mean, you have all these disparate groups that formed the Democratic Party in America. And they can't coexist forever. Even nature will not allow for that. I can't about name be changed on all state ballots to slate. I don't think so. I think they, it may require right into some places. I don't know. I am not up on my election law enough in all 50 states. Gretchen Whitmer wants it, personal reports. I think she will get clobbered. That's his no name. I need no one knows who she is. I named Textor. When did the office of president drop its criteria to be described as he did OK? Chris, in Orange Beach, Biden just spent all that time in France normal in front of all the other world leaders. What could they be thinking? Since if you ever wanted to invade the United States, now's your chance, maybe. Captain Doug, I read a report this week at a come all about come all higher. So Biden says now see that that happened. The Democrats will lose their nations. It's the pundits say they will lose the black vote. And the women's vote. Mainly because Kamala is not a viable candidate. The streets of Alabama website crash or maybe never when acted. They need to go to a lottery system. Who do I? I have no idea what you're talking about. I talk about the fortified roof. I don't know as much as I would like to be the old Foy, Foy, Foy, Foy number there. A for Foy to Foy, whatever it is, more on that in a second. I don't know the answer. When I was a, when I was at Auburn, you would call the Foy Union building and ask, you could ask any question. They would know it's just pre-internet. And they would know, they would, endeavor to find out. Yeah, eight Foy, Foy, Foy, Foy, Foy, Foy was the number. And they text their jet, the only thing as bad as the Democratic Party is the Republican Party. Is it? The Democratic Party lied to all these Democrats about Joe, but they lied. He's fine. We got the media backing us up on this. [MUSIC PLAYING] They lied. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, that's a text line. Trump immunity really imminent. They'll jacks it up next. I'll be right back. This is up and talk. One of those six, five. [MUSIC PLAYING] It's good to see you. I must go. I know I look up front. Anyway, my eyes are not-- I got smoke in my hair. My clothes thrown everywhere. I woke up in my rocking chair, holding a beer in my hand, sporting a neon pan, my stereo sign. Well, go back to the Joe Pore Show. What if I talk? What if it was six, five? They just stay with us on this Monday morning. We do appreciate it. Text line, you want to be in touch with the show. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six. That's how you touch with me, your show host. Join us now. It is Monday. I'm going to eager to see what you have to say today. Dale Jackson will be in it and the Yellow Hammer News. Dale, good morning. How are you? I'm doing fantastic. I'm absolutely thrilled to be here. That's great. That's great. Getting a good night's sleep. I did. I spent the weekend in Nashville, but last night was pretty good. Nashville. What's in Nashville? I just have friends that live up there, so I went up there for the weekend and spent way too much time buying $9 beers in bars. Yeah. You're one of those guys who's like hanging out down on Broadway, huh? And occasionally, it's not a bad time. Nice little scene. All right. Hey, so we haven't talked since Thursday. Obviously the debate. How do you feel about Trump now? I was happy with what I saw. He did what he needed to do. Joe Biden self-destructed, which, again, if you recall, the take I've had on this election since it appeared it was going to happen. And I think we've been knowing this for about at least a year and a half now. It's been this. If it's about Donald Trump, he will lose. If it's about Joe Biden, he will lose now. It's about Joe Biden. It's a change. I mean, I'm kind of surprised watching how initially the knee jerk was like, Oh my God, Jimmy out the ticket, but now Democrats seem to have kind of rallied around him. Yeah. Well, I mean, last night, somebody like Bill O'Reilly had a scoop that this was all over and it's like, how did he get that scoop? Yeah, you don't think a bill, but the bill, right, how did he get that? Like, what is he now like on like news nation, getting inside Democratic party scoops? Right. Yeah. And yeah, well, why would they give that to him? Because he's who knows who's told him this stuff, but it's probably is like his source from the 1990s or something. Yeah. I don't know. It doesn't really strike me as something that you could, um, you can take to the bank here with a, with a bill O'Reilly. No, I'm not, I'm not, um, yeah, I need something a little more than bill O'Reilly circa 2024. Correct. Correct me going, but I mean, I don't, I don't think that's the winning solution for that. I don't think it's a solution at all for the, they, they got to ride this horse in the finish line. Right. Yeah. And that's sort of like they sent out an email. It was yesterday and they were, it's so funny to see it. It's, it's, you know, and I, and I get like, we've all seen this sort of stuff. Oh, we're down big and we need your money. Right? Like that's sort of like the thing they do now. Oh, new polls show this is, we're losing and your money matters, you know, but there's now a thing to say, look, we're losing Donald Trump. Sure. But, um, look at Gretchen Whitmer and look at, look at Cory Booker and look at Amy Klobuchar. Look at Pete Buttigieg, they're all losing to him too. So what are you, what are you going to do? I guess it's us and I think that that is just a really, really, really desperate. Yeah. Desperate. Desperate. Does that work? Do people send money for that kind of thing? And it's one of those things where like I would hope it doesn't, but the fact that it continues tells me they do 20, they say they stay raised $27 million since the debate the Democrats have for Joe Biden's cause, I mean, like, it's just like sympathy money or, oh my gosh, well, he needs all the help he can get money. Well, there's also the premise that they, maybe we're, a lot of people were sitting on their way until after the debates. They can say like, Oh, it was such a good debate. Here's how much money we raise. You know, maybe you call in those favors when you're having a bad run, right? I don't know. This is toast, man. I, they are, they cannot ignore this. This is like, they crossed the line and no matter what they say, they're headed toward. I think it's just how bad, how much is he going to lose by right now? Yeah. I mean, it might, it might understand that the Trump have pulled up one point in New Jersey. Is that correct? I don't believe that. I mean, like he's doing a lot more. It's going to take like a really deflated Democratic party. Yeah. I mean, I, I mean, I take that, but it's just, I mean, like we've said before, if, if Donald Trump is, is down two points naturally, he's going to win, he's going to win the Electoral College. If he's even, he's going to be a blowout. I mean, that's, that's what it looks like. And now he looks up. I mean, I, I think, I think he's in really good shape, really good shape with the way this is going. And I don't foresee a scenario where you can D age and Joe Biden now, right? Like the cats out of the bag on this one, it doesn't get better for it, but it's like, I, you know, kind of, it's like kind of sad, you know what, but, but how did Donald Trump not laugh at this guy's face, because even because, you know what, and, and I think no, we haven't talked about this at all, have we? Well, I'll put it to you this way. They have successfully taken Donald Trump and turned in, in the night of his opponents worst night ever, they turned Donald Trump into his best performance ever. I mean, this was Donald Trump's best performance. He said the stuff he wanted to say. He wasn't, he wasn't mean or crazy about it. He did everything he had to do. He played that nice ish and he did not have any massive errors. How about this, though? You remember what Hillary Clinton stumbled into 9/11 Memorial? Now, I don't think that's the sole reason she lost to Donald Trump. There was a bunch of things sort of came together and it just worked, but this was that old steroids. Like this was at times a million. I, I, it's, it's a death tale. There's no way you can recover. And I, I will give it to Democrats this and watching media. They have shifted the focus away from that is trying to make it about Donald Trump and you're right with your, I think instinct here, they can do that, but there's no way they can do that. Oh, I mean, Nancy Blue's out there and they said, Dutch, Dutch, Donald Trump has to mention. Yeah. They're just looking to work. That's crazy. It's crazy. It's nuts. It's absolutely nuts. Why? I mean, they're lying to us. There's no way they could pull this off. And they sit there and they listen and the media listens to it when they're like, Oh, we're not going to talk about this with Joe Biden. Oh, fine. You just want to talk about Joe Biden being sick, all this other stuff. And, and they are just unable to really grasp the really bad situation they've put themselves in. And it's just more credibility killer. We've all known this. We've all seen this. Now it's happening. Our mistake was they'll after the debate immediately, Joy Reed and Nicole Wallace and, and, and, and all of these different pundits from the networks, like losing their mind, going into panic mode, and then a day later, try to act like that didn't happen. I mean, they know, they know this is, this is probably over for, at least for my, yeah, caught up in, they are caught up in their feelings. I mean, that's true, but the fact of the matter is everyone saw it and there's not really much they could do at this point. They were, they were done, they know it, we all know it. It was just a really bad, a really bad situation for them. And you know what, they deserve it because they're liars. That's, that's, that's the key part of all of this. And I keep mentioning this. Don't let the media off the hook here now that they're like, okay, you caught us. This is like when your kid steals five bucks out of his mom's purse and then, you know, you reward him for telling the truth. I mean, no, that's, that's not how it works. You're not getting rewarded for telling the truth. You are going to be punished either way. You're still in trouble. You're still the bad guy. You're not getting off easy where you just say, well, you told the truth now. We have to remember that they lied to us. They continue to lie to us for as long as they possibly could. And they would have finally got shoved right in their face. They decided, okay, we'll tell the truth now that that's, that's some, that's insane stuff right there. That's completely insane stuff. Let me ask you one question, one more question about that, the media angle, at least. Do you think that they believe there are, I mean, do they get high on their own supply regularly? Right? Do you think that they believe that every, I mean, all the, all the stuff that was being put out that there were cheap fakes and that this was all just Republican fiction that there really was something of that order, like that they, they thought it was fine. And then it really was a shock to them. Are you serious? It's a real question. Of course they didn't believe that crap there's got to be, we have this discussion was fine. I think they're dumb enough to believe it though. Some of them, these are not, you get these people way too much credit, Dale. No, then this is now, you know, you know, I don't, I don't buy that part now. I just don't single one of them, not, not a single one of them believed it. No, no, I mean, this, they knew, they knew what they were doing. They knew the, they knew the, the issue they were creating for themselves. Well, maybe, I mean, like, maybe I need to revise that statement that they knew it was, wasn't great. They just didn't know it was this bad. Yeah. I mean, I think, I think they knew damn well, what was up? And I think that they, they knew what was up and they, and they were just going to roll with it as long as they could and they couldn't now. I mean, I mean, that's just the truth. At this point, they just could no longer fake it. And they're just, they're completely lost. They have nowhere to go and they, they ran out of, of any runway here. They, it's over and they found themselves where now they just have to own it and there's nothing else they can do. Cause they're caught. I mean, they're absolutely caught. They, they, there's no, there's nowhere else for them to go on this. They are completely caught. Well, I, I, what do you, what do you think happens down ballot now though? Do you, I mean, I, I, I just, I don't seem to mind coming back from this, but I think this is a huge ramifications for the down ballot races, which I think in some ways matter more than the White House. Uh, yeah. I mean, I mean, they, they matter a lot more, probably, uh, well, that's not true with the executive, with the executive orders and stuff that were in that world that we're in. I mean, I mean, we, we, we, we are going to be under permanent impeachment, potentially Democrats win the house, right? Sure. Sure. I mean, that's, but you got all that's true. Look, here's the thing though, whoever wins the prices, he's winning the house, right? That's just the way it's going to be. I mean, that's what's going to happen is so it's, it's that close. Um, I, I think that that's pretty clear. Um, if I'm, you know, if I'm, um, Shimari figures in district two, I'm, I'm really worried about this. I mean, this, this is, this is lighting a torch to my career. They didn't want to comment on it. We, we, we, we, um, got a reporter to call over there. No comment. Let me get a say. Yeah. But the, the silence is, I mean, the no comment comment is speech yourself. Oh no. You know who spoke out yesterday? Who what Maddox, what Maddox spoke out yesterday? I don't know if you saw that or not, but what Maddox on Twitter was, was talking about how, how bad it was and looking at the numbers and all this other stuff. Um, so yeah, he, he said, he said yesterday about all the stuff and it's, it's amazing to me. And it's, it's just amazing, um, that I, we're not seeing this as a whole, like a whole freak out here. Because you see, you see guys like Fenderman saying F that, you know that he's doing the whole thing. He's doing the whole, like I wear, I wear basketball shorts and hoodie, right thing. And I, I speak like the guy at the bar, not like a real human being, you know, that kind of stuff. Um, but Maddox tweeted this out. The CBS news polls further affirmation that voters, the youth Thursday nights debate is more than just an off night by Joe Biden, voters cannot unsee what they saw, nor will it be forgotten. In my opinion, passing Thursday today off as Reagan's 1984, Barack's 2012 bad nights are. And then he, you know, went into this whole thing, uh, he said they are an apples to beach balls comparisons. So, uh, Maddox, again, Maddox is, you know, supposed to be one of these old blue style blue dog Democrats, right? At least that's how you try to brand himself when he ran for governor, not sure I buy it. But in Alabama, at least what is he at least the third largest Democrat in the state? At least, and not the largest. Well, you know, you got Terry Sewell, probably number one, and then just by, by, by state of her position. Um, and then, and then maybe you'd have like a three way for mayors, you know, between those, you'd have a three, I was, I was referring to a read and would fit in Maddox, but Maddox is the one that has any crossover appeal. You could pluck that guy out and put him on a ticket and let him, can debate and campaign. And I think you're going to get more, more, more moderate ours to at least consider him. You know, like he's, uh, Maddox, he's been mayor since like the 1990s there. He's not an old guy. He's been mayor forever at Tuscaloosa, but he just, he just taken over after those tornadoes and like, what was that? Had to be 20, 20, 11, 20, 20, no, no, no, no, that was 11, right? Yeah. It was after 10. Yeah, it had to be around that time. So he's been mayor. Well, I don't see him going anywhere because he said he's 51 years old. I'm not suggesting he's, he's supposed to go anywhere else or do anything else. But what I am suggesting is essentially it's interesting, excuse me, to see a guy like him saying this. Yeah, you're right. Well, you know, to his credit, all these different crap mayors, there's not the crime problem. There is a Tuscaloosa, like there is Murray, everyone in my memory is there. That's true. That's true. Except under the premise that, uh, you know, we hear that one in every three college students there is being raped right the second. So that's, you know, you got to watch out to these numbers that come into the machine or something. John Archibald. I wasn't, I was just talking with the random numbers that they throw out to say at some point in time, uh, one in one of every four women will be sexually salted on a college campus or something. And if that's the case, that means that this year, one fourth of the women on that campus will be sexually salted. You would think if those numbers were reported, that'd be a pretty big crime problem. Don't you actually, gentlemen, Dale folks want to find out that. I don't know. I don't know. You would folks want to find the online hack and they do show at the Dale Jackson Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, you name it. We'll be right back. This is a jet four show. One effort talk. One of six, five. Raise the roof and jail. Open up his case. You say y'all all wanted to step and say you're going to know she don't. Well, here's a bit less on the boy we go. If you're going to play in Texas, you got to have this. Oh, right. Your apple flies, flies high above it all, hopping in the wind like an angry can. Now, one of the history, the cold and sting, but they still smell the powder burn. And they probably always will. Welcome back to the jet four show. And if I talk about those six, five, they stay with us on this Monday morning. We do appreciate it. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six. You want to be a touch up to show. All you got to do is text me. So breaking news here to court has ruled. I think this is a no, it's a little mix, but it's pretty clear this is a win for Donald Trump, that presidents do get some degree of immunity for official acts. But what determines an official act and an unofficial act, I think is the lower court has to deal with that this, this January six stuff is done. It's over. This was, this is what was going to win them the 20, 24 election. They decided that on January six, 2021. And it's over because there's no way that the DC circuit to get this done before the election. And I think with that question unanswered, then what people are going to be voting on is not that they're going to be voting on Joe Biden. It's over guys. I think declare a victory here and I think this really gets some profound consequences. I mean, you can look at some of the things that Joe Biden has done. The border policy, for example, what was it? JD Vance was talking about this the other day, you know, our nose, Lindsey Graham that Joe Biden should face criminal prosecution because of the deaths associated with his border policy. Well, that's an official policy. Joe Biden is immune for prosecution for those acts. But we can't have a system like that where presidents are held liable criminally for things that they maybe had a good faith and effort and intentions and it goes wrong. And then after the fact, a Democrat administration is going to go prosecute a president, a former president for his official act while he was president. Just can't have that kind of world. The system would just eat itself alive. Once upon a time, you can probably get away with it because we operate on different set of rules of the hand shake and the gentleman's agreements. But now not when at all costs, not the ins justify the means. Not just game Democrats are playing. Trump is hailing it as a big win. Significant. Very significant ruling this morning. Anyway, two five one three four three zero one zero six, you need to be in touch with the program. Text me, let me know what you think. Otherwise, we'll get some text here, pull cat. I love it with Dell's on the show. There's no way the media couldn't see the condition of bite years before debate. I agree. Pat, I don't understand why they even agreed on the debate. I think Trump saw no downside to it and I think I needed it. He needed the hellberry. Anyway, we'll be right back for your text on the way two five one three four three zero one zero six to 60 Jeff Porsche would have to talk about one oh six five. From bucks pocket to the shores of Orange Beach at all points in between an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. The Jeff Porsche show, I don't think this way look back to the Jeff Porsche show up and talk one oh six five. They should be able to sign this Monday morning to five one three four three zero one zero six and abbreviated week for the July holiday on Thursday. So I am told those told by my superior obviously no show on Thursday you'll get Fisher house and Friday there'll be some kind of best of assuming that there is a content that qualifies as a being best of two five one three four three zero one zero six would be a touch with me your show host hit us up on that text line and we will respond to whatever it is that is on your mind if you just tuning in Trump has immunity for official acts as president no immunity for an official acts and when it comes to January six or any of these other law fair cases before the lower courts is for the lower courts decide if they're official or unofficial acts here's where the less upset the so called election interference case unlikely to be completed before the election so it's a the last upset about this even though there's still a window for them to achieve their conviction there are signals are not going to get their trial before the presidential election that tells you all you need to know about the motivations of these people they're terrible I am telling you there are little house of cards is just collapsing they built this house of cards on the shaky foundations to let's start with the twenty twenty election and at the American people would ever vote for Joe Biden under normal circumstances it took rearranging the entire election system to win that and they just barely want it guys barely with the sun mood and the stars is given to these people they barely won the twenty twenty election it took like a week until the associated press the left leading associate press to call it for Joe Biden it was close had you had no covid nineteen and no covid nineteen election rules kind of changed the whim of state legislatures or state governments then Trump potentially wins number one so that's your first kind of sign that there's trouble but elections or elections and you've given them the benefit of the doubt and you just say they won by the rules unfortunately the rules are what the rules are and you have to take this as a loss even though it's on the technicality it's an L well then they build this whole idea up about Joe Biden actually qualified to be president because if they had gone they let this thing play out and I'd had the party elders get involved people to judge would have been your democratic party nominee in twenty twenty and Trump would have beat him even with covid but they didn't do that they had to intervene that's why Biden got the nomination so they wait they put Biden there because they think he is built toast enough presidential enough and he's not he's not fit to be president and we see that so so they they probably know this and they know that Trump can still win so they got to throw everything legally at him that they can to stop him and they're not even getting that the Supreme Court said oh yeah you can't really do it that way even in some of these opinions in this ruling they acknowledge that the case of question here that a dollar to the case in question here was expedited and it can didn't really consider these ideas of presidential immunity or are any even if you disagree with it they were trying to rush this thing through and it's not going to work two five one three four three zero one zero six damn Yankee asking a good question here official or unofficial how does that work to presidents never all duty just like active military duty military you're never really off what even when you're at home which which may be an argument but I this is what I kind of think I mean if the president is out to go grab go he just decides he needs to go buy a pack of cigarettes he runs a red light that's an unofficial act is he's liable for prosecution what was it mule success grant used to race is a horses down Pennsylvania Avenue or whatever is horse and buggy up and down Pennsylvania Avenue and the police in DC at the time did take it him that that would be an unofficial act it's not really associated with the job so there's probably other things you know just day to day life things and the presidents can't do think maybe it's in particular with things regarding the campaign you can just break the law those are unofficial acts where he does have immunity would be this and then divide examples the best one I can offer let's talk about Lincoln Riley getting killed by the illegal immigrant well that illegal immigrant is there because of Joe Biden's immigration policy he got in because Mayorkas and Biden decided to take a different approach with border security does Biden is Biden that's an official act they they porous borders or whatever you want to call it is an official act of the president because that's the way they think the law says they treat immigration policy so that's the way they're proceeding that's official official president would Joe Biden still be an accomplice because this person who got here illegally kills this young lady well you can't try because it was part of his official act and there's numerous other examples really like they would have charged Bush with like war crimes or whatever that are Dick Cheney or well I don't really doesn't apply to vice presidents but but she's ever saying in charge him on murder but it was on the table I think for Democrats like look we had to beat Donald Trump late to beat him at all cost we had to beat him at all cost and if we had to try to like a cock or engineer some kind of prosecution that we will 2 5 1 3 4 3 0 1 0 6 Biden will be replaced there is no rule that the Dems cannot will not break but but they can't print a bunch of ballots in time is the problem logistically if they replace Biden and how do you put him on the ballot whoever they replace him or him with him or her you got to print the ballots and just think about that how many people vote and how many ballots that is and in every state how the ballots are going to be counted my name text for what I hope is when Trump wins the president he should sue all the people who took actions that are illegitimate including the New York judge personally sue them for one billion dollars they all deserve at least a half spend all their money on lawyers that's the other danger this is a deep state thing guys they have unlimited resources and if they want to target you if prosecute you then they will they'll launch endless investigations they'll they'll spy on you they'll violate your constitutional rights they do what they got to do to win even if it is unconstitutional or illegal even I guess if it's unconstitutional it is illegal but that's the problem in this country and I think most sides do it I think this is very problematic it's always been if a US attorney decides they don't like you or they want to do something for one of their buddies I mean it just it happens guys are if the lower courts or a different jurisdiction like a state or county whatever is unable to get a conviction for somebody bad and the feds will step in and they'll go and they'll they'll go after you for something this is what they do and until until the judicial system can get a handle on that on on these prop politically charged prosecutions shops facing them they said ban is going to jail today because if a contempt to Congress citation it's going to sideline him for the presidential election Peter Navarro professor former professor UC Irvine also in the Trump administration's in jail right now because neither one of them participated in the show trial which there is an arguable ground that that is an arguable legal point whether or not it is would be determined me it can be determined later anyway the less losing their mind this morning this House of Cards is crumbly I'm all these things they put in motion to try to stop a 2024 presidential win by Trump are kind of followed by the wayside. They started early. But the argument point, the January 6th stuff is that what recognized it was an official committee because they rejected Jim Jordan, Jim Banks from being on the January 6th committee and put it out of Kidzinger and Liz Cheney. And that violates sort of a, the rules of Congress, not supposed to be able to do that. And also was there a, there was a question of presidential immunity at the time, our executive privilege, I should say, that forbade Bannon and Navarro from testified before this committee. So an argument point there and they bring up this contempt citation DOJ to buy DOJ follows through with it. Meanwhile, they, they hold up Merrick Garland in to contempt of Congress, get the vote, send a criminal referral to the DOJ and DOJ just throws it into trash under Biden. They don't even consider it. I mean, it takes like 30 seconds. No, we're not doing that. Jerry, the Alabama AG should still go after the AL2 Democrat candidate. You just, that'd be a big fundraiser for him, Jerry. We'll be right back at the top of 065. [MUSIC] Hello, Kansas. Sweet Bill Farmer. Let me thank you for your time. You are the 49er week for living. Just to send it on down the line. [MUSIC] Monday morning, short week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, will be with you. I come up with the next minute. Carolyn Dobson, the candidate of the Republican candidate for the second congressional district will be with us. So please stick around for that. And Judy Barlin from Easter Shore, Republican women going to join us here in the Fair Hope Bureau. She may bring somebody with her. I'm not quite sure, but we're ready to go. That'd be good to kind of just shoot the bull about. Some things have happened over the last week or so. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six. And the Alabama AG going after the AL2 Democrat candidate. I don't know about that. Steve Marshall, the Missouri Attorney General is doing this. Saying it by prosecuting Trump, and I think a rather nebulous, where they changed the jury instructions, and all these things they needed to do to try to go after Trump. The state of Missouri is suing New York State. The attorney general there insist that his voters are having their rights infringed by the state of New York for playing law fair, trying to keep Trump's sideline for being president. And he makes a legal argument. That's what I was always kind of wanting to see if Republican AGs would do something like that. And then maybe it doesn't, it won't work legally or whatever. You can say it's stupid, but why not try? Why not make them have to defend some of this stuff at a court of law? I don't know what the process would be. Maybe you just get kicked out initially. Now look, I state as soon as I go straight to this Supreme Court. I'm sure we'd like to see that. Part of the man, I like this Jeff Davis message, which Jeff Davis message is at. 25134430106, but this is what you need to know. The less losing their mind over this ruling, and it's not about legal or illegal or whatever. It's because our Constitution or whatever it's not about the merit of the case is because these people wanted a trial before the 2024 election. They're not going to get it. You guys, you guys on the left, you're out there. Text me, 2513430106, you're losing. You're losing in a big way. This is like a blowout. It's the third quarter. You don't have any prayer of coming back. You need a miracle. You need like New England Patriots versus the Atlanta Falcons kind of miracle or something. You need Tom Brady playing quarterback and Joe Biden is not Tom Brady. You're leaking oil, guys, and you just kind of like Supreme Court, not fair. Biden's not. He doesn't have dementia. No, he's perfectly fine. We just having a bad debate night. Okay. Oh, just the thought. I guess I missed that about Jeff Davis. I was busy tending to other matters. Thanks, Sean, on the text there. But anyway, back to my talk about the house of cars is colliding. I mean, you could see it like you see the concern in some of these. We'll tell you how I watch cable news. I've never watched it. Never watch it with the sound on. But you see a lot of distress. These people were invested in this January 6th prosecution proceeding. Now they are stuck. Quick say it. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, we'll be right back. This is the Jeff course show it. If it talked about over six, five, freight train leaving town, not knowing where I'm bound and no one can change my mind, but mama tried. Get on me. Want to know why do you drink? Hey, why do you roll smoke? Why must you live by the song that you wrote? Over and over. Everybody making my prediction. So if I get stoned, I'm just. Welcome back to the job for show them. If I talk, what, oh, six, five. They just stay with us on this Monday morning. Judy Barlow from the East Shore Public and Women's Club going to be with us at 11 o'clock hour coming up here shortly. So make sure you stick around for that. But joining us now on the line. She is a Republican nominee and I'll have second congressional district on the ballot against Shamari figures in November, but Carolee Dobson is on the line with us. Carolee. Good morning. How are you? I'm doing great. Thanks. How are you doing? Well, you just got a progress report. Give us an update about how the campaign is going. It's going well. I am just continuing to keep the tires hot all throughout the district. This, you know, obviously yesterday, March the end of the second quarter. We feel really good about where we are on a fundraising from a fundraising standpoint, which again, prior to running for office, I didn't realize, but that's what a lot of groups and national party looks at. So we're really, really grateful. Thank you to all of you who have supported our campaign and our efforts. And again, just continuing to visit throughout the district going to be speaking to the Mobile County Republicans tonight. Very grateful for that opportunity and especially as we enter this week celebrating our independence and our freedom. It's so important that we fight for the state to keep America the land of the free, the home of the brave and sure that we not only fight for opportunities for our kids, but fight to frankly restore some of our freedoms because the Biden administration of which my opponent has been a part has been, you know, frankly, attacking our very existence and the freedom of our republic. Well, let's get you to react a couple of things. First off, we'll talk about Biden debate performance kind of. Well, and it matters, especially in your race, I would think because a lot of the way your votes kind of goes the way, I mean, Trump is going to go or people just. Coming out to vote for Biden and then pull the lever for all string Democrats will. I mean, I think that took that took a significant blow Thursday night. Yes, absolutely. And I've had several people say, Oh, this, this must make your race easier. And, you know, I guess from, you know, from from the standpoint of demonstrating to the world the incompetency of our leader. And, and the fact that there really is only one choice in this race for saving our country. Yes, however, it makes this race even more important because it demonstrates that, you know, not only has my opponent been part of the Biden administration was an Obama act, you know, as it has been complicit in Merrick Garland's weaponized DOJ and promulgating policies that are leaning it on crime, you know, meanwhile crime being on the rise in, in this district and throughout the country. But, you know, aside from the policy on a deeper level, you know, the, the wool was ripped from the eyes of the American public on Thursday night. And it shows that my opponent and everyone that served in the Biden administration, that was actively perpetuating the fantasy that Biden is a competent leader. And that's tremendously disturbing, because it shows that that that my opponent is not a Southern Democrat that's going to go advocate for the people of the second district. It demonstrates that he has already to the party line, even if it meant, again, perpetuating the myth that that Biden was competent and was able to lead our country. And, and again, that makes this race even more concerning because he has already shown that he engages in the group think and group speak. And, and again, continuing the frankly falsehood of, of Biden as a leader that has his mental capabilities with him. And, and this, you know, even though my opponent no longer is part of the Biden administration, this continues I was kind of interested to see, you know, what some Democrats were saying on Friday after the debate. And I looked on my opponents Instagram account and there was a big happy pride month, which kind of like well, it's June 28 pride month has ostensibly been going on for 27 days but, you know, now you decide to post about it. So that was kind of interesting. And then I looked on, you know, the president social media, Jill, Dr. Jill's social media, and it was, you know, then decking out the White House for a big pride celebration and I'm like, okay, there must have been a memo that went out or probably probably be a tick tock to all the Democrats and say, don't talk about the debate. Just colors, rainbows, focus on rainbows, distract them with rainbows today. So I don't know if you know this, I'm the editor at 1819 news and we, the story that I didn't think they would respond. Let's just ask some of our figures campaign to respond to Biden's performance and they gave us a big no comment. It's kind of telling, right? Like, there's, there's doubt about trouble, I think, but they're not because he didn't give you the obligatory. We look forward to buying winning a second term and he did, he did fantastic. It was just, no, we're not going to comment on that. No, and again, I think that's, that's what's really troubling here, because again, you know, by being part of this administration, active participant for three years, you know, knowing that your boss is, is, you know, ultimate bosses is incompetent. You know, how can you make the argument that your first and foremost allegiance is to the people of district two and don't get me wrong, you know, I'm a team player. I'm going to go fight for conservative values, but, but ultimately, you know, first and foremost, you know, my accountability is, is, is to God, and then to the people of district two, because they deserve a leader who is going to fight for them. And I, and I'm that candidate and I'm raising my family here in Alabama, grew up in rural Southwest Alabama, moved back over five years ago, because there was nowhere else on earth that I wanted to raise my kids. I wanted to raise my kids with Alabama values. And again, whereas my opponent has been in Washington, since he graduated from law school and started leasing an apartment in the district two days before the filing deadline. So, again, you know, if you're looking for someone who is going to, you know, walk, lockstep with a Democrat party, then, then that's my opponent. If you're looking for someone who is going to have the issues and the problems and the concerns of the folks of district two at the forefront of her mind, and that's me. Join by Carly Dobson, she is the Republican nominee for the second congressional district contest to hear in Alabama. Carly, in this Supreme Court case, you know, all of this happening at once, but the law fair, some of the foundations of the law fair that's being waged. I'd like to start to crumble a little bit. No, that's definitely true. Last week, certainly, I think was the answer to a lot of prayers on a lot of different fronts. And what we've discussed also another victory from the Supreme Court was the overruling of Chevron. You and I have discussed, again, just the excess of the executive branch, the rampant regulatory overreach that we have witnessed in the past three years. That has obviously, you know, damaged pretty much every facet of the economy and had a detrimental and disproportionate impact, especially on our small business owners throughout the district. And so the Supreme Court's ruling with respect to Chevron and the fact that, you know, we shouldn't defer in this, in this circular logic to the, the very agencies that create regulations is a huge victory for the rights of private citizens of small business owners. And we'll have tremendous impact on fostering the growth of business, allowing private property owners to use and utilize their land in ways that they can best responsibly manage that land. So, again, I think across the board and last week was was a huge victory for limited government. This ruling this morning given presidents a limited immunity with for official acts. I guess as the immunity as it applies to that and unofficial acts. No, but it's up to the lower course of the side. The idea of this notion that it was kind of like, well, we're not really, we just want to get Trump in front of Trump, get Trump no matter why, and hopefully get a, some kind of court case before the 24 elections so they really expedited it. And Supreme Court says no today, they go back and figure this out. And it's, I mean, they got some real problems here their whole path was the viability of Joe Biden and he's got his issues as we've seen and some of the law fairs starting to fall apart. Yes, they got a situation here, don't they? Yes, yes, the candidates are actually going to have to compete on their own merits, or the lack thereof, or their own competency or the lack thereof. It's going to be a free and fair election. That's what we're fighting for on the right, which should be a given in America. But again, we've seen the left try every tactic possible, whether it's obviously the first tactic of trying to remove Trump from the ballot per the 14th amendment, then the law fair. And then, and then again, you know, which I am a little frustrated that there was such a shocked response to the debate, because, I mean, you, you and I know, and it's the vast majority of Americans should have already known, you know, when, when Biden's own special counsel says that he's, he's not confident to stay in trial. That was months ago. You know, they're really, this shouldn't have come as a surprise to the vast majority of Americans. You know, the fact that, that, again, our, our commander in chief has dementia is not confident. It's just like they can hide this all the way through November. Like, this was never, I mean, maybe you get through the 2020 election cycle without it being a problem. And somehow they kept Biden in the basement, as they say, or whatever. But, but, Caroline, I mean, like, here it is. I mean, you're running for the biggest, potentially the biggest office in the world. And the thing that you could just like pull some kind of snow job here and distract the American public from a clear problem here. Well, it was kind of folly. Oh, yeah, it's folly. It's also dishonest. It's an insult to the American people and frankly it's criminal and everyone who is was part of that has been part of that administration has been perpetuating fraud against the American public. I mean, I have, you know, as you know, like you have young kids and one of my daughter's favorite stories is the emperor's new clothes. And I feel like we're living that, you know. Everyone's surrounding Biden just kept saying how mentally sharp he is and how with it he is and if, you know, saying it just makes it so. But, but finally, you know, we've had a little boy in the crowd who said, it's not wearing any clothes. You know, he, he is not mentally competent. And, you know, it's about time. Frankly, you know, I think it's four years too late, but, but here we are. And again, the American people are going to get to decide. If they want another four years of of incompetency and weak leadership and, you know, our enemies who are being emboldened every day by the knowledge that no one's home in the Oval Office. And so, you know, that's, that's a choice for more years of that or four years of President Trump, where we can once again unleash American energy independence, curb inflation. And be strong. We can only have peace when we deter and we can only deter enemies throughout the globe when we're strong. Well, let me ask you this question. Who's running the country because it's clearly not their Biden? Well, I, um, that's a million dollar question and I don't pretend sitting here in Munner County today to have the answer to that. But I think, you know, if a lot of the press surrounding the debate seems to be indicative, it looks like it's Dr. Jill. I mean, and then I want to her qualifications, you know, so, right, right. It's, but, but you look at that. I mean, like, I don't know the coach or sit or tell the real says it's the deep state. I mean, but we're not getting for a group of people who screech democracy every chance they get. It doesn't seem very democratic to me. Oh, no, no, it's, you know, and again, it's just part of this group thing group speak virtue signaling. You know, they want to yell and scream that Trump is a threat to democracy. Um, whereas, you know, Trump, um, again, uh, love him or hate him. He, and I absolutely believe we have got to get President Trump back in the White House. But, um, you know, even if you're a Democrat and you don't like Trump, you have to admit that he absolutely has his faculties about him. He is competent. Um, and also if you, again, you actually look at his presidency. Um, he was the very first president to, um, to create a regulatory bill of rights to literally curb his own power. How is that a threat to democracy? What's a far greater threat to democracy? Again, is, is intentionally misleading the American public on a grand scale as to the ability of our commander in chief and his ability to lead. Um, again, which is what the Democrats, um, on a nationwide basis, but especially those in the Biden administration have been doing over the past three and a half years. Carolyn, folks want to get more involved with your campaign. Find out what you're up to. Maybe offer a contribution or any sort. How could they do so? Yes. Um, no, we would, it's going to take every one of us, um, to prevail in November. And again, it is, it is so important to not only maintaining, but increasing Republican majority in the house to do so. So please check us out. Dobson for Congress.com. We also have accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X and truth, social Dobson for Congress and also come to the Mobile County GOP meeting tonight. Government Plaza six PM. Bring some newborn diapers. It's an, instead of having there's, there's no admission fee, just a pack of newborn diapers to help support mothers in need in our community. Um, again, an example of, of the civic engagement and personal responsibility that those who believe in limited government, like we do, um, advocate for. Carly doffs Elise, Joey, Carly, thanks for taking time. Thank you. Have a good afternoon. All right. We gotta get a break here. We'll be right back. This is a Jeff Porte Show. They just stay with us on this Monday morning, two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six. You want to be a touch with the show? What you gotta do? You gotta text me. Let me know what's on your mind. So the cub Judy Barlow, East Shore, public and women's club waiting in the bullpen here. Let's see real quick, blah, blah, blah. Paul writes this key. I think these L's keep coming for them and something very sinister will happen. Think on similar lines as early 2020. Uh, any texture to this, try to hold a good shop owner is accomplished when they sell a gun to some nut that goes out and murders a person. What's the difference in that and what Biden did causing him murdered by illegal? Well, because there's a policy component. I mean, I think you. In theory, I think you've got a point, but we can't have that standard in America where you could try presidents for goes because here's here's the difference. The president was elected elections have consequences. Okay. You don't like the way he did it. It costalize. I mean, presidents declare war all the time in American history. And what's to say if you think it's an unjust war that you would just go try president Roosevelt for murder. I mean, we can we can't have that kind of system. They got to be able to. They got to be able to operate freely without having to look over their shoulder for criminal prosecution. That's why the court ruled is it does to take Trump out of it. And my point was looking by then and with with the DOJ or somebody featured DOJ go try May or kiss invited for the border policy that arguably led to the death of Lake O'Reilly. Was he, you know, we could agree the border policy is bad, but did Joe Biden gauge and 100 May or Chris engage a criminal behavior. And if that becomes a new standard, it's very problematic for America because you'll just have this back and forth. It's a system that won't last. And that's that's the problem there. All right, guys, we got to get a break here. We'll be right back. This is the Jeff for show that from talk 10065. I keep a close watch on this heart of mine. I don't think I'm done in this way. A lot of people are looking to us for information and for leadership. So it's going great. And we have some great programs coming up and that's why Melinda came along with me today to talk about some of our. Upcoming programs that will be really good for our community in our state. Well, um, would you get that in just a moment where we'll have you here for a little while. Let's start with this though. The world of politics and. She's running country right now. You know, your guess is as good as mine on that one. The Bidens. You know, when you watch the debate the other night, that was just off the rails. There are there are a group of power hungry people that are behind President Biden right now, including his family, the AIDS. The people that are working with President Biden in the White House, the deep state. Yes. And they are they are they are pulling the punches. And I like and it like this story or when we see a cartoon. You know, we all have family members or friends that that may have dementia or Alzheimer's or problems as they get older and we love our family and we take care of them. We get them the help that they need and that is not the case here. We've given President Biden the key to the car. He's got us in the car with him. They've left the house. The back door is open. The windows are cracked and the front door is unlocked. He has the keys in his hand to our country and the checkbook. We would we would never. I mean, having the checkbook and free reign to the spending that's going on is creating the inflation that we have right now. We've got to take the keys away. Did either one of you feel any kind of. I don't know pity on how I just like. Yeah, how did how did Donald Trump not just laugh in his face, right? And I don't know. I, you know, whoever's up, put him up here is doing not just a country disorder. They're just a bad person or whatever for putting this beleaguered human being up there from the country to be mocked to be shamed. And, you know, if you are a true believer in crazy democratic causes, you just set that back at least four years. It's it's crazy. What they did the other night is show the world show our people and the entire world. What we're dealing with right now and the the difference the dithering part that's that's going on and the lack of decision making the lack of a true commander in chief, which you saw in President Trump. The other night in the debate, you saw somebody actually stand up and act like a commander in chief. He did not attack. He talked about his policies, his agenda. What we've done right in 2016 and during his term, when we had a great economy, we had low, low, low inflation, and we had a great military. We don't have that today. We saw last night just overnight on the news as a result of this, maybe not as a result of this debate, but world leaders are watching us and they know that now is the time to be making some changes. Well, and think about this, Judy, the changes that they they make. I mean, last minute kind of hurried up and the Democrats said is anything they're trying to do right now to save the situation. It puts the country in threat under some kind of thread here. Like it's like, well, crap, we're about to lose. We did throw some Hail Mary's here. Think about the potential cost of that. You can't do that. You have a sitting president that is the nominee from the Democratic Party. I guess you can do that, but the consequences and the turmoil and the chaos that's going to happen. If they try to do that at the convention and put somebody else in his place, Vice President Kamala Harris is next in line. She has lower approval ratings than President Biden does. And what has she done so far? She was kind of in charge of the border and look where that's landed us. Well, I don't know. She's even when she ran for president, she was pretty underwhelming. Like she had a shot at being a nominee. That's right. And I think she just kind of mailed it in there at the last minute. Let's talk about this real quick before we move into the club business, but R&C coming up, you're going to be in attendance for the respect. Yes, we are. We are excited. This will be my first one as a delegate. So I'm super excited. We have six people going from Baldwin County to his delegates and then four as alternate delegates. So that's the middle of July and we're making plans to do that. We will be working on the Republican Party platform and other business matters that we need to do as the Republican Party. And then we will culminate it by nominating Donald J. Trump as our Republican nominee for president and Alabama will be first out of the gate with the nominations coach or Senator Tommy Turbyville as our chairman of our party. So we will be the first step on the on the stage to bring the nominations forward. Yeah. So he and I guess they did it a little differently this time with the nominations you had rather than put them out there for the public could devote on, but you did it kind of internally this time. Still open process. Anybody could have come. Right. But it was a process that kept it kind of within the family. Right. Well, we chose and we looked at the people within the party and the people that ran anybody could run. But we tried to make good decisions. You know, going forward and that's what it's it's about our families and and what we're looking for as a nation going forward in the Republican and putting the Republican Party first. Joe Biden, Judy Barlow, Melinda McGee, both of the Eastern Shore Republican women. Melinda, let's talk about what we got coming up. Some of the things going on with the club. Walk us through what if you just listening and maybe wanting to get involved. You live on this side of the Bay or my side of the Bay, Eastern Shore, but talk about some of the things y'all are doing here. Well, you just heard Judy talk about just how impressive it is with all of the individuals from our club that are going to be going to the RNC. And we just want everybody to know that we focus on the key issues, not only locally, but at a state level and on a national level. And our July speakers are really exemplars of that. We're very excited about our speakers that we have coming up for our lunch meeting and our evening meeting for lunch. We have Stephanie Brian, the tribal chair and CEO of the portrait Indians. She has an extreme influence over, you know, statewide matters. The tribe owns over 40 businesses that have a huge economic impact on the state and Stephanie also serves on several national boards. Then for our evening meeting, we have sheriff, Hollis Mack. So, Haas not only is dedicated to our community and has served us for 18 years diligently. But he's the former president of the state Sheriff's Association and a member of the executive committee for the National Sheriff's Association. So, just tying that all together, you know, we just, we want to share at all of those levels, all the important things that people need to know and get that information out to them. So, and then the change in the program here, Melinda, right? You got to get your lunch meeting to be doing forever, but you're going to be doing some evening events too, because people who work, you can't get to the lunch meeting. There's another opportunity, right? Absolutely. And just to continue the strength of our club and to make it accessible for everyone to attend our meetings, we wanted to reach out to members and prospective members in the northern part of the Eastern Shore to allow them to attend meetings close to home. And also those folks that do, you know, have difficulty making it to the lunch meeting. So, our evening meetings are held in Spanish for at the original Oyster House. Those are on the third Tuesday evening of each month. And we just had our first one at the original Oyster House, and it was a great success. We had a great turnout. Everybody enjoyed it. And we look forward to continuing those. Well, and that's good. You know, people don't know. Even if you're in Spanish forward, you're coming down to Fair Hope, better packing lunch. I mean, it's a haul, right? Even though the distance is a crow flies, it's not quite that far. It's just. We got a lot of people coming in and there's a lot of traffic sometimes. Yeah, in and out. I mean, you know, there's many times I come down that way, like you get to that. You get right there to Spanish for right there, and then it's still still got another half hour to get home. So, but there's, I guess the point being. Try to make it as easy as possible for people to be able to participate in your organization. Absolutely. And we're celebrating our 35th anniversary this year. And we just want to continue to grow and we want to make sure that we outreach to everybody on the Eastern Shore because our club does serve all residents of the Eastern Shore community. We have a great base in Fair Hope and we are excited to have them, but we want to let folks in Spanish, Fort and Daphne know we're here for them too. And we've got some some great leadership in our club and have demonstrated that that we are one of the leading clubs in the state and have the information they need to know in a year. As important as this one is. Judy, let's talk about the money I was trying to strike for. So, historically, in Alabama, a lot of the elections have already been kind of decided. Going to go Republican, going to go Republican. So what we've been doing, they're exporting our resources to other states. I need to think back to Georgia with Herschel Walker, Florida, with some of the contests on their presidential, you know, looking at it as a swing state. What? I'm going to get to use it this time here, even in our listening audience in the sacred congressional district. That's right. And as I talk about this, you can go to our website, esrw.org and find out more information and sign up for the mighty Alabama strike force. In this instance, we have a two prong approach. Actually, there are swing states all across the United States that we're going to be looking at, whether it's with the mighty Alabama strike force. Or whether it's there will be strike forces all across our nation working on different states and different pivotal districts. CD2 is a pivotal district and an election for this next time with Caroline Dobson, our Republican candidate going against Sean Murray figures, who's the Democratic candidate. When they redo our district and our lines to make the to make congressional district to a Democratic district, we knew that we had to bring forward a strong candidate. And the reason this is important is because when we look right now at what's going on nationwide, we have a slim majority in the house and we're able to get a few bills passed and over into the Senate. And there they sit because humor is in charge. Biden is in charge and the Democrats have a stronghold, so we're not getting anything passed through the Senate. We need this race and this race has been watched by the people in DC and people across the states because it's that important that we keep that district read. And we need a strong Republican in that district that's going to represent the people of that district and the families of that district. Yeah, well, I mean, it's they designed it for a Democrat to win, but it may not work out for him this time real quick before you go to break here. We did have kind of a rough one with Jerry Carl and Barry Moore. You feel like everybody's kind of rally? I mean, I know Barry Moore's Democrat opponents, probably not. But do you feel pretty good about everybody kind of coming back together after the old pretty contentious primary fight? It was and, you know, they designed it to be that way and we've moved forward. We're behind our Republican candidate, which is Congressman Moore and we will support him and we will support Caroline Dobson going forward. We stay behind our Republican candidates. Let's get a quick break in here. Got Judy Marlon, Melinda McGee from the Easter Shore Republican Women's Club for a couple of more segments. So, yeah, I'll stay tuned. This is a Jet Force show it up and talk 106 5. ♪♪ ♪ I stick me in the treat you bad ♪ ♪ They know just what I had ♪ ♪ But honey now ♪ ♪ I don't want to make my brown eyes ♪ Look back to the Jet Force show it up and talk 106 5. Thanks for sticking around on this Monday morning. Quick programming note coming up on tomorrow's show. State Representative Shane Stringer as well as John Wall, the Alabama Republican Party Chairman will be with us. Representative Stringer needed today. I typically hear him on Monday, but we moved him back at his request tomorrow. So, there's a lot going on to talk about there with him sort of legislative things, especially his crime. It's spiraling out of control in Montgomery into Alabama legislature taking it upon themselves to sort of address that potentially in the next session. Joe riots Jill is not a doctor, by the way. She is a doctor red, so I guess she is a doctor, just not an MD. Michael, did I miss something in civics from a president came down to clear war? Coach told us that only could only be done by Congress. It doesn't really declare war anymore. It's kind of an antiquated one, two, three, four, I declare war. They'll do it that way. See, a name texture points are excellent. The system doesn't deserve to last. A name texture, unless the year Democrats will be praising Scotus for the immunity decision. Matthew, the Liberals and Democrats are losing their blank on Twitter this morning because of Trump and the Scotus decision. Thankfully, the American people have a great BS detector and can see straight through them lies. And then finally says how much is Oasis for y'all? How much is membership in Eastern Shore Republican women? I looked at the website, but got an error message. We welcome the guys and individuals that are part of another club that want to participate in ours and that's 15 per year. So, yes, Cindy, just shoot me a text and I'll try to get something in print there if you need it. In the meantime, 2513430106, Judy real quick back to CD2 talk talk to us voter registration drive, just getting people engaged in the process and look, say what you want. I mean, getting votes out for Trump too, but this is what I kind of think about CD2. Whoever is winning that presidential race in the Sacred Congressional District will have coattails and that will be who is the next member of Congress for that district. Yes, and that generally does happen and with a strong election like we have this shaping up, I think that that will work, but we have to encourage people to get out and vote. A lot of people think their vote doesn't count, but it does, and we've put a lot of safeguards in place across the nation to make sure that we can limit as much of the cheating as possible. But when you're looking at CD2 and when you even go back to the primary that we just held, we chose our Republican candidate, which is Carolyn Dobson and the Dems chose Chomori figures. Even the Republicans showed out more and had more votes than the Democrats did. So that's pretty impressive to show right there. And we look at, we lost a lot of Mobile County to District 2. There are 23,000 unregistered voters in Mobile County. And the projection when I talked to John Reynolds yesterday as she's working with Al Gop is they think if we can get 5,000 unregistered voters voter to register as Republicans. Then we can win that race. So it is entirely winnable. We just need to get out there. We're working with Mobile County GOP from Baldwin County because it's in state. We can do this. We can make this happen. You got to make it happen. I mean, it's the balance of Congress. I mean, like there was ever a time for these groups in the Republican Party to really work. I mean, this is it because you haven't really had a general election situation. This has been contested. I know it may be Doug Jones, but that was different. Right. And we can do this. All right. Let's get a break it here. We got Judy Barlow and Melinda McGee from East Shore Public and Women for one more segment. That's the next segment coming up. So stay tuned. This is the Jeff Moore show enough to talk about 065. Right above the Spanish Fort into Mobile, my hometown. Sitting here at the floor, a band about to open up a pickle can. Good time. Look back to the Jeff Moore show enough and talk about 065. Thank you for sticking around on this Monday morning. We still get some text in here. 25134430106, Jerry Mobile. It's close to the gap on Montgomery when it comes to crazy stuff as the AG. So you think about the report, the mayor sent him about the chief of police issues. I'm going to tell you statewide that the mobile police drama is not getting any attention. It is all about the dystopia that we know is our capital city. And I mean, people just fear and further lives. And this is expected, Jerry, just the seat of government seat of power. I mean, you're there finding bullet holes and things of that sort of government buildings. It's a war zone of Montgomery, and it's not improving anytime soon. And finally, one more here before you continue on with Judy and Melinda. Pat, my wife sent a devote online when I registered and yet at the drop office. During a baby checkup, she has yet to be approved. I don't know what's going on with that. I think I get to check with the probate judges office or. I don't know what to tell you there, Pat. Anyway, real quick here. Melinda McGee, the first vice president, the short Republican women and Judy Marlow, both with this president of the Eastern short Republican women's club. Melinda, first off, aside from the ESRW, you got a couple of magazines now. You're kind of a media tycoon of some sorts over here. Talk to us. Tell us how that's going and people want to check it out where they can find it. Well, very blessed with the support that we've received. I'm the editor for social magazines for Alabama. We started up social, Eastern Shore in 2022. Got just great feedback, and it just went tremendously. Last year we launched social coastal. Our editor for that publication is Eva Casey. It's doing great as well. So we have coverage all over Baldwin County now. And just wanted to mention that our June, July issue, we actually have a great article on Sheriff Mack. So make sure you pick up your copy. The name of the article is blessed are the peacekeepers. And that's what the magazine is all about. It's about the do-gooders, the change makers, the leaders in the community. So about good things and good organizations. They're doing great things for our community. We cover local charity events, support them, and then all of our articles are about people, charities. Just making your community a better place to live and work. Well, yeah, you'll check that out. It's a new stand. You see it everywhere over here on this side of the bay. But if you're over here, pick up a copy. One more thing. Judy, you're beginning to dab a little in the podcast arena. Talk about that, if you would. Well, when I became chair of the legislation and research committee for the National Federation of Republican Women. They wanted me to do podcasts. And that's just simply interviewing people like Senator Ted Cruz. I interviewed him last month and talked to him about the border and what's going on. And when you look at Texas, Governor Abbott, Senator Cruz, Chip Roy, who is one of the Congressmen from there, they have done an outstanding job protecting the southern border that's in Texas. And you can actually see when you look at the numbers that they say that have decreased. That's because they're going over into California. They're going over to San Ysidro or San Diego and coming in. And they're coming in in all different kinds of ways now. So I talked to people like that. I hope to talk to Senator Britt while we're at the convention. I would love to talk to some of our other leaders, our senators. Governor Bargham is on my list also to talk about the economy, which is one of the issues that we are focused on. On the national level is the economy, the border and the illegal immigration. And then parental rights is really important to us as as Republicans and just just our families and safeguarding our ability to choose education, to choose mental health, to choose for the upbringing of our own children is important to us. And the Republican Party. Yeah, because you hear that all the time of parental rights. It's become kind of a buzz word, but like assigning a definition. What exactly what exactly parental rights quote unquote are being threatened by the government or anybody else? Well, you know, and the bill that we looked at and researched on that is I think it's I'm afraid to say maybe three, five, seven, one Senate bill. But it's Tim Scott, the Senator that brought that bill forward and it's sitting in the Senate waiting to be approved. But it's looking at the rights of the parents just to make decisions on education. And we just passed an education bill and our state this past session, which was a great thing. But it's letting us have the decisions to make on education, on mental health, on just different things for our own kids that you wouldn't think we'd be having this discussion. But yet here we are. Yeah, well, I mean, and we're kind of, I must say spoiled in Alabama. Well, there are times when the, I feel like the state oversteps its boundaries with things. But while you look around the country and there's some places that just they would have the state, if it could, would be the provider and raise your children for you and indoctrinate them. The police system, I think it's just totally alien from the American mainstream. Yes. And when you look at what's going on right now, again, actions speak louder than words. So look at what the Democrats are allowing to happen and go on in our nation right now. When you look at all of these protests that are going on on the college campuses, you have a right to peacefully protest. But when they are harming people and when people are being threatened and when our own young men are lifting up the American flag that has fallen on the ground because they are stepping in at that point and wanting to make a difference. We see young people now that are joining us, that are wanting to make a difference because they can't afford a house. Now they may get their college cost paid, but they can't afford a house. They can't buy groceries. They can't buy gas. They can't store a family right now in the economy that we're living in. So look at what's happening and then make your choices in November. I want to ask both of you this question and the selection. Now, I think the economy nationally is a big, big deal and that's going to guide the vote. But whenever I talk to candidates out there running for whatever, they tell me they're hearing a lot about immigration, which here in Alabama neither, you know, winning areas for Democrats to Joe Biden. But what do you think it is? Are we looking at like a, you know, if you're Carolyn Dobson, what are you hammering the most, you think? Well, I mean, I think both of those are important concerns. I mean, people are suffering right now and you'll see that a lot of the key issues really, they tie in together. I mean, we've got the immigration, you know, border issues and people are spilling in here and we've somehow, you know, now are taking care of them when we have our own, you know, U.S. citizens that need help that, you know, really are in a difficult time. But, you know, safety, you know, is something that's key for everybody that they think about, but just day to day, just surviving is really a problem for everybody and immigration is part of that as well. Right. And Judy, the economy, though, would, I mean, I, I'd assume your membership probably notices this. Just go into the store, go to Walmart, go into the grocery store, going, even to go change your oil or whatever, gas pump, et cetera. I mean, the inflation, like, you, you have to be living under a rock, not to be feeling the impact that is as it applies economically. And that is true, and that's, that's one of the things that we looked at when, when we were looking at bills and what we're trying to do, our senators and our congressmen really continue to work hard to put forth bills that will lower taxes. We've got a tax relief for American Families and Workers Act that they've put forward. It's sitting in Congress. I mean, it's sitting in the Senate. We have the Reigns Act, which Senator Britt mentioned the other day on the radio. That act reduces, it, it reduces what others can do to affect the laws that Congress have put in place, undo regulations. You look at the fishermen in the Northeast that just won that court battle where they came in and said, you can't put people on your boat, their boats, and make them pay for you and make them pay for your lodging and make them be responsible for you. They're doing undo regulations on us, and we need to get rid of some of the regulations on the small businesses. That's such an important point about that, that Chevron doctrine, though, that they were telling people who fishermen, they were telling them that they had, they were creating out of a Fiat, this, this regulatory regime. And then not only were they doing that, guys, the way this was playing out, they were charging those people to put them up to enforce their made up regulations because they said, what did the budget? So you guys out here, you, just citizens trying to make it, you know, make it into meat, you got to pay for us to come and play this regulatory role. That's right, they had to pay, the fishermen would have to pay for that regulator to come on board, watch the number of fish that they caught, and they would have to support that person, pay that person a fee per day, and actually be responsible for that person to be on their boat. That's the kind of government that, I mean, these little things kind of slipped through the cracks, but you guys like realize like what the federal government had done there, and the intrusion. So this stuff matters like, yeah, Alabama is going to be a red state and so on and so forth, but we're still going to be governed by this type of government. I mean, this is the type of people in government who look at government and then just are overstepping their bounds on a regular basis. That's right, and we need to get rid of some of those regulations, so that's the Raines Act is one of the things that we're looking at on a national level through the National Federation of Republican Women. And then I talked about parental rights, and then when we talk about the border, there is a border bill that our House of Representatives or Congress put in place last year in 2023. So when Biden tells you that we won't do anything, that the Republicans won't do anything, that is incorrect. There is a bill sitting at HR to the sitting in the Senate. There's a companion bill, a Senate companion bill that's also sitting there, where we're asking to end asylum to build the border wall to oppose amnesty in some of the forms. So we are trying, our senators are trying and our Congressmen are trying, even in this environment, to make a difference. They're trying to put forth bills that are sitting there. So the good news is they're continuing to work on our behalf, and we have a super strong bench of Republicans working hard for us, Senator Katie Britt, Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, Marcia Blackburn from Tennessee, Ted Cruz from Texas. And the Democrats again are going after our people because they don't have a record to run on Jeff. They have to attack us and try to make us look bad. I mean, this is such an important point that they don't really have much to run for. I mean, what a bad stuff's happened over the last three and a half years. And there's not, there's not like, hey, look what we did, look what we did, look what we did. They got to run against something and they operate on this notion that more people will vote against something before something. The problem with that is they are in charge. They run the Senate. They run the White House. They can't run against themselves. This whole, like, we were talking about it earlier in the program. The House of Cards is collapsing. I mean, the court rulings and the go after Trump and then Joe Biden kind of protecting him. People are starting to see what's behind the curtain now. You know, one of my members came up to me the other day and she said, you know, they must think we're a special kind of stupid. And we are not. We are not. We are very intelligent, hardworking American families that want the best for our families and our nation. And it's gone beyond a black and white, a Democrat versus Republican versus independent nationality. It's people now that are banding together and saying, we have got to fix this. Well, our institutions are totally let us down. About a minute and a half here. We'll just recap real quick. You people want to get more involved with the club. How do they get in touch? Where do they look? Give us some details here. Well, we will get our country back and we've got to pray for it. We've got to believe it and we've got to work for it. Yeah, and important, Alicia, ladies, it's been a pleasure, but I'd like to make time for us one more time on website. ESRW.org and Jeff, thank you for having us on again and for letting us get the information out there to our, to your listeners. Well, and the McGee, Judy Barlow, thanks for coming by. Thank you. All right, we'll get one more break in here. We're right back. This is the Jeff for show. What if we talk one of six, five? Perhaps I may become a highway man again. Or I may simply be a single drummer, right? But I will. Once was a thought inside my head. Or I'd reach 30, I'd be dead. Welcome back to the Jeff, poor showed. If I'm talking about those six, five, just a few minutes remaining in today's program. Thank you for listening. Come up tomorrow on the program. It'll be Tuesday, but it'll be like our Wednesday, I guess. But tomorrow, Shade Stringer, a state representative from Centronella, I think it is long awaited return to back to the Jeff, poor show. There was a bad accident a couple of weeks ago up in Creola, and he had to attend to that, but we're going to talk to him tomorrow. And also the program, John Wall, Alabama Republican Party Chairman, will be with us. We haven't really got a chance to debrief with him since the debate is, you know, just trying to figure out, like, what this means to the, the Republican Party. And I, what I'll be interested to hear from him. How much of Biden's debate performance Thursday night impact that second congressional district race? Because that is, that is what we need to tell. One more text here. Jerry, the rich state of Alabama, he stops spending our money and cut taxes. Supermajority, and we are acting like it's New York. All right. Well, thanks for the feedback there, Jerry. I got up here shortly, but they mobile the legendary shots hold and what you have for today. Jeff, just back to what you said 30 seconds ago. Yeah, I wonder about that. You're talking about turnout because of, you know, Biden being on the ticket and Democrat turnout would lower for that. And I think academically, you're right. I was just thinking personally, I just show up and vote. You know what I'm saying? It's just, it's systematic for me. But I, I was 18. It was just like a, you go and you go and vote. I mean, it's like Democrats on different clock going to work. I mean, you're not a Democrat. I say that you're Republican, but I think Democrats think different. And that's what matters here. I don't think people are going to vote in November because the second congressional district has a, as a seat up for grabs. So maybe two years later, they will. Right now they're going to vote for president and whoever wins that presidential, whoever was the presidential race in that district is going to be. That party's nominee is going to be the member of Congress for that district. Yeah, probably right. I think it will incentivize Republican turnout for sure. All right. So coming up on midday mobile today, and you notice that midday mobile schedule between noon and two every day because, Jeff, I met my best between 10 a 10 a.m. and 40. Try to give me a little, you know, a little book ends. I got argue with that one sent 10 a and four P. So that's why this show is noon to two or something like that. Hey, we will talk more about the weekend at Camp David for president Biden. Also, do you see that even Boeing's spaceships have issues out there? Well, we get into that as well on the show. Hour number two Dale Lee from land nap joins me. We'll talk about some new story and some new information on an old story. People will guess probably what that is. Civic Center. We'll do that in the one o'clock hour and also, of course, break down the Supreme Court decision here on immunity and joining us here in just about. About six, seven minutes lead off that are district 96 representative that Matt Simpson lost to talk about with him as well. So midday mobile just minutes away and perfectly timed in the middle of 10 a to four P. That'll be, uh, that'd be must listen to commentary, I'm sure, from purposes of civic code up here shortly. Anyway, guys, it has been a pleasure. I have to get out of here. I will try to do better tomorrow with this abbreviated week. Sorry, Phyllis, I forgot to say goodbye. This has been the Jeff pore show. I left a talk, one oh six five. There's one to say. This is where the cowboy rides away. (music)
