[Music] It's... [Music] A Canada, more like Canada, dull. Derek White gets the bright lights and can both nicks cut it. All on a Kyle co-hosting. Other radio shows roasting. Throwback Thursday. [Music] Mission! [Music] Let's go! [Music] Yeah! Oh my goodness gracious! Who do you think you are, I am? What a dude baby! [Music] My wins are totally different than your wins. Coach Herman's phenomenal. And the job that he did at the conclusion of the last year running someone else's offense was not easy. [Music] Man, I crime. Hey, I believe. You believe in Herman? I do believe. I? Say I? I believe. I believe. I believe. I believe that we just win. I believe that Kyle Berry ate today for Jeff Gersch. Alex Becker producing the product. He runs the show. I run the show. What's up Alex? Gianna Williams. Who? The kid of the day hanging out. Does she go by GG? She does go by GG. How do you know that? I watch that show. Okay. We should mention, I guess right off the bat, that Fascinations has five videos for $20. GG is from that. Totally sweet. That Gypsy show. You know Gypsies? The real estate. Is this your book of spells Gypsy? Okay. So we got a great show for you guys today. Canada hung around, looked good early. USA pulls away. Convincing victory. Jamal Murray in front of the microphone yesterday after the game. They asked him about the contract. He says, I'm not worried about right now. I'm at the Olympics. I'm a Olympian right now. Not worried about all that kind of stuff. Was asked if there was any kind of lingering feelings about how the season ended. He goes, no, not at all. That's kind of shot a look a little bit like super. I'm not really turned away thinking about turn away from the reporter. Didn't like the question. What's the question? It's on the same. It's on the same line as the attitude that he had when they were in the Minnesota series. Something is not right. He finally came to the mic. Exactly. Something is not right around here. And it seems, I mean, I'd give a six to five percent, two percent. Two percent milk likelihood that he's not with the Denver Nuggets for the next five years. It's starting to give me the ick. It's starting to make me feel like the Carmelo, the Carmelo Anthony situation all over again, where we offer Carmelo an extension. He admits that he wants to be traded to the Knicks. I got a couple. We get the Knicks deal done and he never signs the extension in Denver. I think that Jamal's, I'm realizing a pouty. Yeah. He's got a lot of kind of Kyrie. Yeah. Dylan Brooks, Russell Westbrook. A little bit of that, even like Durant's got some of that little win. A little edge to him, a quad Leonard's kind of super unique in his personality and really could give a damn about what anybody thinks. And I'm realizing as much as we love Jamal and he's the all-time nuggets. Great. Okay. He's just kind of cut from a different cloth and kind of a different dude bin Simmons kind of like. Can you kind of see the separation in guys like Jamal and then guys like Steph Curry and LeBron James, totally do their post game interview together like there's just say all the right things. A world of difference, exactly. Embrace it. Jamal's a professional. He's got a character and the look it's all part of the package. He could be and he kind of the villain. No, very lovable. Oh, no. I think he could be the heel. He is. He is a heel. Well, he is around the league. Yeah. But I'm saying he's turning into a heel within our organization and fan base and he's turning into like a Nick Van XL, like rubbing you the wrong way, not fan, not friends with the media. Brendan vote. Hurt him. Ah, Brendan vote part of the media. Brendan vote. Oh, that's one shot. Yeah. That's one shot, kid. You just men and vote was upset with Jamal because Jamal was worried about the points. If you make up a brand and then just start a brand as you that make your journalist seems to be working. Don't get upset about that. Don't get sidetracked. Don't do this. Don't go ding dong. Let's pretend I did anger and yeah, let's pretend I didn't mention Brendan vote. And let's just say the media got him upset. Yeah. Me too. They want to hire me whatever I'm totally down. Okay. The media got him upset when they mentioned that he was paying attention to the UFC fights directly after was it after a basketball game? Yeah. And I don't care about that. I have no problem with that. After a win. And then his buddy Volkinowski, yeah, and what's wrong with that? I don't know. But since Jamal has been hurt, it's like he hates the media now. He's like, I want to watch UFC and I hate every question. Okay. So now again, we come from a lineage, a legacy, a great urban Joe. We're solutions oriented. What's the now what? What's the next thing? We can't just keep bagging on Jamal. He's asking for it, I guess. But now what what do we have to do next? What is he in the franchise going to have to figure out? To design this extension, you see playing games and playing games with my heart, with my heart, one more with my heart, one more with my, I should know from the start. Alex and I were saying before the show, Peyton would never, Peyton would never answer questions like that in the media that way. We think that Jamal has some growing up to do and can kind of reach 27. When I was 27 and non radio and stuff like that, a young stallion, I was like, I'm the youngest guy I'd ever have morning driving the history of this town. He was hitting game-winning shots and I thought I knew it all, but I didn't know it all. But Peyton also had an edge to him when needed. He answered that one Al Jazeera question with this slapstick reporter Al Jazeera. Yeah, Al Jazeera Network came out with the report that HGH stuff, yeah, that Peyton Manning was taking HGH through his wife and he was like this slapstick reporter. So I feel like every answer Jamal's giving is like, you're a slapstick reporter. I'm not, you know, interested in answering your, your liquor, liquor, yeah, so he has a little bit of Jamal in him, Peyton does. Our idiot kicker. Good, sorry. Idiot up. Mike Vanderjack. Good one. Yeah. Yeah. Jamal can get there. If he doesn't get asked what he wants to talk about, he will give a prickly answer. Is that okay with you? Is that okay with you? I don't like that. I want him to be more professional than that. Give, try to give the best answer you can every time. Even if the question upsets you, once you're 30, you're a real grown up when you're in your twenties, you're not. And if you make, you know, millions and millions of dollars and you've always been with Kentucky, he's always been one of the best basketball players in the history of Canada. You know, who's that, uh, Canada, the guy from the Toy Story or he's, uh, something Canada. It's, uh, Captain, kind of Canada. It's met. Keanu Reeves is the voice. Do Khaboom. Do Khaboom. Yes. Do Khaboom. Do Khaboom. Canadian. So you, you think Jamal is Duke Khaboom? I think he's Duke Khaboom. Oh, man. It reminds me of, well, he thinks he's Duke Khaboom. Well, I just think that he's always kind of been real privileged. He's a bit of a. He needs it. He needs it. Yes. He's being a bit of a brat. And every once in a while, you kind of need to step up and take responsibility for your actions or just things that happen to you. Do you think he's been out of shape? You think he's fat? You think he's carrying around 10 pounds of extra weight? No. No, I just think. That's the knock on him. You know that, right? What am I speaking, Chinese? I think that, uh, Duke Khaboom, Canada's greatest stunt man. Oh, yeah. That's Jamal. Oh, Canada's greatest basketball player. I think that he needs to still step up and take responsibility for just what happened to him and what happened to the Nuggets. It's like time out. How does he do that? How does he take responsibility? He's got to say, sorry, everybody. I lost it for us. Yes. Like, oh, he just needs to be like, I wish things would have went differently. You don't think he's thinking I wish I would have trained better and not injured my calf. Like just things he has to say to kind of take more responsibility instead of that's in the past. I'm not answering that question. Next question. He sounds like Trump when he starts to do that. Kyle, lucky for the listeners. It's a role play Thursday on the program and now I'm going to be Jamal Murray. Okay. Do you want me to be the question or the reporter? What's the question? Jamal, uh, looking back on last year, uh, do you feel any remorse or anything that you would do better, uh, moving forward after what happened against the timber was in Game seven? No, not at all. I think if we watch the playoffs, we see the twists and the turns of what the NBA is. Uh, I'm still super proud of the championship. We did win here. I'm still proud of the championship. We did win here. Um, I'll always have that to kind of, um, I think, uh, back up who and what we are and we're going to go out next year and try to hit it again. Oh my God. Do you notice the difference in that answer compared to, Oh, no, it happened. I'm not thinking about it. It happened last week. That's why we're talking about that. I'm not exact. I was saying, okay, as if I'm Jamal, I'm in my mind saying fans, the organization, the organization, when I got here, whatever the coach be doing, whatever he need, I'd be doing for the organization, like Carlos Sanderson. Yes, the guy who ate the weed. And then I mean, coach, we eat the weed, I eat the weed, whatever he like asked me to do in the organization. I don't think the coach asked him to eat the weed. Uh, anyways, I find Jamal in piss because I am a nuggets legend. We have done all this. I'm only 27 years old. I'm thinking I'm only halfway through my career and, uh, the rest Alex is history. Has Jamal mentioned that he wants to finish his career as a nugget? No. Or whatever. Happens. Well, he said that he said that whatever happens happens. No. What do you have? The audio of what he said going out with the boys one night, all right, man, shoot. So let's do these jealous shots and I'll take whatever pill this is, whatever happens happens. And I feel like that's his attitude is like, oh, he said we'll get there when we get that. I was like when I saw a picture of you three at Morgan Wallen and Alo's in the middle and I almost said devil horns come out of a low and how he was like, he knew he had you guys right where he wants you. Alo is listening right now. I love him. Love him. My brother. My brother. We're living together right now and Castle Rock. We're getting our lives together. He is kind of like Johnny football. Hey, he's like, I'm out here with my guy, John Tiserion. Alo's the guy that like you wind up hanging out with after all your friends have gone and you look over and it's a low night. What time is it? You're like, go home. Where are we? And then he's like, and he goes, I'm not drunk. I'm cool. Anyways, he's like ready to start the party for the next day. You just want to go to bed and end it. Alo's like, what's wrong with you? And Kyle's like, see that we my bank account is set up. I got a chance to save me home by day and have to let my dog out. Yeah. He's like, dude, that's not how you party. Let's go to break on time as usual, 303, 3, 1, 13, 40, the hotline, as well as the text. I got the Murray sound to you after what's right. Let's do it. I want to hear it now. All right. Wait, wait, wait, who? Try rank rank. Okay. But an ask you about the contract thing. Is that something you're thinking about? The max contract. I mean, when we get there, we get there, I got games right now for Candles, so that's not my mind. Ooh, he was about to be like, what do you mean, like, what, what do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? You know what I mean. He was like, what are you? What are you? Because what are people? And he goes the max contract. That's like Justin Timberlake getting a DUI and going, this is going to ruin the tour. And then he goes, we're going to ruin what tour and he goes, the world tour. Yes, yes, yes, he was like, man, yes, this is going to mess up. This is going to mess up the whole tour. And this young guy's like, branch branch tour to France. What? Because Brance is, he's, he's the troll, Princess Poppy. He's branch is the guy's name, troll, the troll, he's branch. The world tour, man, this is going to mess up the whole tour. What tour? The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. The world tour. You dub it. You're in the heart with my Kyle Schoon and no one's on the song. What if it's funny if Brance was like just mentioning in the contract of a different player completely? Oh, I was talking about Derek White's contract. We are going to break. If you want to hit Kyle up, do so. Jeff's on an extended vacation. Jeff? Yeah. Fire. No, he's not fired. He's not. He's. He's a big man. He's safe. For now. Maybe Jeff will hit us up too. Alex doing a great job. Kyle's here. Do you want to add that? That's like a $7 Starbucks stream. It's like a new blue thing. She's doing a great job as well. She's one of my best kids of all of that at home winner. All right, Gigi. You good? That'll look on her face. Yeah. All right. It's my life sports. You better quit playing games with my heart, my heart, my heart, my heart, my heart, my heart. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, you called him out. I'll never forget it. You put there? No. Um, 303, 8, 3, 1, 13, and 40. The hotline, as well as the text, not a little morgan wall. And we've always had a philosophy on the show that dates back two decades, actually. Sometimes you have to slow it down, smooth it out, keep it fresh and sexy for the ladies. Yeah. I jumped ahead. No, it's all right. Nice problem with ladies. It's like the first date and they're at the restaurant and the appetizers there and Kyle's like, can I fill your boobs? And she's like, um, oh my God, I'm sorry. What? It's inappropriate. Okay. 303, 8, 3, 1, 13, 40. The hotline. Can we French kiss? She's like, um. That's it. I'm Dr. Fila. They just got to the bar. It's a blind date. Okay. And they just pulled up to the bar. Hey, um, what, why don't we put her some chips and sauce and some street tacos? Okay. So I want to kiss you. You're going to be my girlfriend. Thanks. Thanks, Joe. Is that a member that less miles quote the old LSU coach? He's like, and if you talk to a cheerleader, you give him a big kiss on the mouth. If you're a girl, if you're a girl, how about those Gundy comments too? So Mike Gundy. I'm a man. I'm 40. Yeah. He's back in the game with some crazy comments saying he's out, uh, he's political. Yeah. He's done that a thousand times. Yeah. So they're running back, might be suspended for, uh, drinking and then driving home, but I don't think he got a DUI. And then, uh, Mike Gundy comes out, oh, I've done that like a thousand times, had like three to five beers and just driven home and, uh, how they should punish it. Yeah. And how they should punish him is just give him the rock like 50 times in the first half. That's how you punish the kid for drinking and driving home. Well, coach Paterno, I'm sure you'd like, uh, coach Sandusky to just, uh, hey, enough with the funny business stuff, but yeah, better. Okay. Knock off that funny business. Sandusky. Right. Are you the type of coach that works a player harder if they messed up like as, no, but I go, you got to punish a guy really because like the kids, if you don't take something away from them, then they're just going to continue to do it and they'll keep going and push it to the limit. That goes into the, that's not, which is the college kid. That's at work. If you're going to roll in a few minutes, lay here and there, you're going to do this and that make them work harder. I like that. You don't think they, if they're, if they're acting like that, they're probably not going to work harder. Yeah. If you're, if you're giving him the ball 50 more times, it doesn't mean he's going to run as hard as he can for you 50 times. Rachel said, hi, Kyle. Hey, here's a quick sample of what he said. Hey. Gay horses. Um, not all horses. Mm. Straight one though. GBTQ plus horses. Hey, we've got to revise some of these. Pride month was over. You know, I haven't said that. Well, if my hat had a wiener, I haven't said that one in years because that's like a easy one day procedure. You're being gross in this segment. Really? Yeah. You've said that boobs thing and that it's a wiener thing. Not to get into the legal side of it, but I thought really two or three beers or four. I'm not just fine with all I did. I'm telling you what decision I made. Well, I thought I probably done that a thousand times in my life. You don't see that. Wow. That's like something you say with your buddies at the bar, but maybe not to the media. You know what's going to happen to Gundy? He's going to do a LaRusa. Yeah, nothing will happen to him. Is Gundy the new Bill Walton? Um, no, Bill was never controversial like this. You don't think Bill was controversial? Maybe he was. I think he was in different civil rights and stuff back in the day. I don't know. Bill Walton seems like he would be into weed. Yeah, man. Oh, yeah. Totally, man. Far out. Did you, uh, did you watch that 30 for 30 on them? First we just go. Why don't you tell the list? Oh, he, uh, John wouldn't ask them one day at practice if he was doing the, doing the marijuana and he was just like, coach, I have no idea what you're talking about. And then he went to one of Walton's teammates, asked him the same question. He was just like, yeah, I don't do it all the time, but occasionally and that that kid got, uh, his playing time went way down after that. Oh, no. So the moral of the story. That's the right answer. Yeah. You'll lie. You ain't got to lie, Craig. You just have to be professional with the media. Don't give them too much. Don't don't divulge too much information, even if that's how you really think some guys are good at it. And some guys are not teams, literally train guys for this stuff. Train guys. Patrick Smith will go tell it getting a head coach's ear here. Expect this. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Russell Wilson with the media. I do like because the way I look at it is I'm a beat reporter trying to get a quote from a guy. Okay. Is it going to give me an answer? Is it going to give me something to fill 500 words, 500 or 600 words that I got to put out here in two hours and I like to have 200 words of that being Russell Wilson talking about this guy and that guy and immunizing all that kind of stuff. So you're worried about him helping you as a reporter. I would. Russ. Okay. As a reporter, who's the best Denver Bronco right now with the media? Justin Simmons was up there, by the way. Let's see. Justin Simmons was like a world class citizen. The best guy right now with the media in Denver. Would you say Portland? Singleton. Singleton's a good Alex Singleton's super lovable. Is it pants or tan? He's fine. Yeah, he's got to be certain because here's what happens when the post game, the Broncos locker room doors open up, okay? You go right around the courts to the left. You go back and to the left and then you go. You go to the secondary, okay, the secondary guys and they're the first like Chris Harris. No. Flesha. To leave those guys. We're ready to go. Some of the first guys ready to speak and speak on behalf of the team. Those guys were stars and Sir Tan is the star. So I would say when you're going right, media is like, okay, let's get Sir Tan first. I don't got to wait for, you know, some of the line men guys, linebacker guys, fancy, you know, want to be pretty receiver guys can take their time to and then you'll get quarterback whoever outside in another room. And so yeah, it is Sir Tan. It's Sir Tan. So how can Jamal Murray learn from guys like Pat Sir Tan and Russell Wilson? He doesn't have to and doesn't want to Sir Tan is still chasing clout and chasing that first gigantic con. He's the classes of clout. He's the classes of clout. Shut up, Tommy. But he's still chasing like wealth, career and family wealth as well as stature. Jamal Murray's made already a hundred and fifty million dollars in his career. I don't know if he's chasing stature anymore because he probably feels like I've been pigeon hold or I've been typecast. I don't want to be bubble Jamal. I want to be looked at as an all star. People aren't recognizing me as an all star. Maybe it's because I'm in this joke. It just shadow. Can you maybe have told me maybe it's because I'm in playing for this franchise. Maybe if I was somewhere else leading my own team score and 30 and doing some of the other stuff I've made. I've had triple doubles before in NBA finals. I would be the all star player that the caliber of level. I know I am, but I'm not because I'm typecast like James woods. These don't have that mentality. See what I'm saying? Yeah. That's beautiful stuff. Jalen Brown suffers from that as well. He does, but he just broke out with as a NBA finals MVP that was that he'll change his reputation forever. So it's almost like Jalen Brown one up Jamal from the finals last year. That's the comp, but Jalen Brown's been in all star two, three, four times. Why they've been a 60 win team a bunch of times. They got championship expectations. The Boston Celtics crown jewel, not NBA franchise, Bob logo in the world. We know here that logo in the world, the Boston Celtics, that's one of the biggest, if you know America, Japan and all these countries, American basketball. Oh no, I'm glad they won their 18th. So the Lakers don't have, don't have the, the most champ tied for the most championships now. Celtics have 18 Lakers on the, and that comes listen, we don't think I said this about Cortland. And then we'll go to break. What's this? Kyle Cortland Sutton lands in Kansas city in Buffalo. He's catching 90 balls for 1200 yards and catching 10 touchdowns, which he did here somehow. And he's done that. Listen, and he's done that five or six times, Kyle. Just because of the situation where he was drafted, we're talking about him as a four or five time pro bowler to all pros, Hall of Fame trajectory. One of the highest paid in the league, but what happened? Him and Justin Simmons, Justin Sims were drafted here at the wrong time and their careers just went a certain way. Are we sure? Are we certain? And when they were then Portland Sun's not a Hall of Fame caliber talent on another team. If Reggie Wayne and if Reggie Wayne and a Marvin Harrison land in Jacksonville or in Cleveland or in Buffalo back in the day or with the Jets, are they going to the Hall of Fame? No. No, no. Armacardo and Smith. I'd be thinking that. I'd be thinking that if I'm them. I did it here. I did it there. I got to be a Hall of Famer. Imagine if I was doing it. And in New England, Troy Brown was a frickin couldn't make it in other teams. He's looked at two, two way hero there. That's what I'm saying. Jamal's feeling like guys, he might be feeling like that. And I know. I'm feeling this. Gordon Sutton's feeling like that. Jamal needs to not feel like that. Jamal needs to embrace the ride. He's lucky that he's playing with the understand where Jamal's coming from though. But don't get too full of yourself. Understand that. It's hard and you're lucky to be playing with the basketball player in the world. Kyle, when you're 27 years old and you made it, you got all that money. You're a candidate. When you're a new kaboom, a Canadian hero. Then Duke. Oh, sorry. Nuke. Nuke. Kaboom is sick. Yeah. That's so too. But that's it. Let's go to break. Alex, give me one more thought real quick on this whole topic. Yeah. That's who he is. He's a he's a guy that's not warm and fuzzy. No matter what, even though he's fuzzy. He is kind of fuzzy. Like, basically. Remember, O.B.J. called him Jamal Furry. So, yeah. I think he's. He is. So he is. No, but there is a stuffed animal bear. That's a Jamal Murray stuffed animal bear. We bought for 40 or 50 dollars at ballerina that we call him Jamal Barry. Ooh. Yeah. Right. Did you see? I think I think the contract will be worked out after the Olympics. I'm confident in that. I think he will. Stay healthy, too. There's a one. I hope. I don't know about that. Two percent chance it doesn't come back. It's always super ugly. And if we were going to trade him, who would it be for? If we would trade Jamal, Devin Booker, we couldn't get Devin Booker for Jamal. It would be more like. I have a new prediction next time. Next Olympic team in four years or two years, Christian Brown is on that team. Okay. Yes. Yeah. Take that man. That kawai stuff is crazy too. Kawai's done. Kawai's toast. Once. And B goes back to the Cameroon team or joins team England or whatever he's going to do. We'll have a spot for Christian Brown and be sucked last night. Yeah. It should be bearable. Bam out of bio is the guy. If I'm the other American players, I would have told him not to. I would put some rumors in his agency and be like, then we don't want to on this team. Hey, would I be crazy for taking Bam over Anthony Davis? Is that crazy? I mean, like at a value point. Yeah. Not the sense of it. Anthony Davis is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Absolutely. I mean, he's he's he's a loser without LeBron. He was a career loser before he got here and got here and actually turned LeBron into quite the loser. This guy. Danny Williams, Kyle Berry, Kyle Berry. And Alex Becker to Smiley Sports. It's stupid contagious to be broken famous. It's someone we save us from punk rock 101. My dickies, your sweatpants, my spy tear, you're new to that. They were just here at ball arena. I think I haven't seen them live blink 182, but I feel like I missed the window. I feel like the blink 182 window is finally coming to a close. If you go to see him now, it's more of like a nostalgia type show. Yeah. You can't really recreate the the energy that they had, you know, the aura that they had when they were rocking. I think it's gone. I think it's over. Yeah, it's over. You get to a certain point. You just become an old dude. And then what you got to do is like you can't make new hit music anymore. So you got to don't be everywhere all the time. You know, I see the Foo Fighters too much a little bit. Go away a little bit. Then come do some world tours and do some stuff like that. And, you know, make yourself rare again, you know, don't be everywhere. Don't overdo it. Yeah. No one, no one wants to hear your new stuff. Play that one again. Okay. So we got it. It's been a good one. It's been a fun one. We're having fun here. What do we get into now? What are we? Let me go back and look at what's going on. Well, I've mentioned the Broncos or something, but do you think it should have been Jalen Brown instead of Derek White? Jalen Brown tweeted out at Nike. Is this what we're doing? Because Nike went with Derek White in the Olympics and it's like a whole controversy. Should it have been Jalen Brown? You mentioned there should be less big names and is Jalen Brown a big name, by the way? There should be less big names and more like hard workers, you know, guys that are striving for great. It's one of the reasons why I am one of the. What are we doing? I can't stop with the drink. GG. She knows what she's doing. She's not looking at us because she knows what she got. Where was I talking about NBA basketball players yesterday during the show? I said that there should be four role players of guys and I named Christian Brown specifically like just straight up role players like young Mike Connolly guys just like who are straight up true role players to the American team and what happens at the end of the show. It said 26 minutes ago, a quiet drops out. We saw that at the start of the show and they add Derek what I love that because Derek White's going to go have games where he scores two points, three points, but he might have four or five assists, four or five rebounds and made a couple key plays in a win over Latvia. Who's that cat out of OKC take that porzingis and it's not Lou Dort, but it's your guy. We've tweeted about him before hard worker grinder Jalen Williams guys like that. He's a star though. Jalen Williams is a flat out star. You wouldn't call him a role player. Well, he's going to be going to be between between between her is he he was their second leading scorer this year. Is he American? So maybe maybe guys like that. Yeah. Look into guys like that. I like that. I thought that was a good take and ended up being kind of true. And I think Christian Brown is on that trajectory a little bit where you thought that was a good take by you. Yeah. Yeah. I think they needed another like defensive minded guard and Derek White fits that bill perfectly. But if I'm Jalen Brown, I'm salty for sure. Now you got three of your teammates on the team. Oh man. Tatum holiday. And now Derek White holiday starting that small forward, bro. What do you think about that? We got Steph and Devin. Tatum starting at small. No, not Taylor. Tatum's not starting. Drew holiday is starting at small forward. Drew holiday is an Olympic hero and one of their most important players. I've been dead serious. I'll never look at him the same. He won a championship as a point guard as a point guard. And then a week later, he goes and joins the Olympic team and is playing clutch defense on some, you know, Greece and Spaniard guards that we needed. You know, it was like a key guy that maybe one of the most important guys when we went to win that gold medal, he's special for to transition to nuggets. Do we know where that's why they wanted this year to Brown is going to be? Where's Bruce Brown going to be this year? I probably think there's a chance he moves for another team or two. Would you his contracts movable? And if you're going to lose, you want to develop a young next Bruce Brown and pay that guy for our $3 million, not Bruce Brown, $20 million. Would you rather it's a pick one, okay, Bruce Brown or Christian Brown starting this year at shooting guard for the nuggets? Obviously I would want Bruce Brown but Christian Brown, you were just talking about Christian Brown in a perfect world. I have Christian Brown start and Bruce Brown comes off the bench probably plays more minutes than Christian, but just comes off the bench and is that guy is on the floor down the stretch of games, but is coming off the bench. What Christian Brown starts. What do you think about that? I quote unquote. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think you could start either one. I like Christian Brown coming off the bench better than starting for sure because he's that energy guy. Yeah. He brings that energy. Yeah. That dunk on the bear. That dunk on the bear was. Oh, when he switched to his left. Yes. And he had that left cock the whole time and nobody knew it. He kind of broke it out at the very end. Everybody thought he was going right. Christian Brown. We talked a little bit about KCP. How sad are you about losing KCP? I'm sad about it. Me too. And it's a guy who's also watch out for Orlando to pay a guy in his mid 30s though a lot of money in a year or two. He might not be the same guy. And then you can't pay guys $20 million who are paying at an $8 million level to big picture kind of thing. It's almost a ballot check way, whereas we know he could still play for a year or two, but we're willing to let him walk. And if he has success elsewhere, well, good for him. And I love the guy. Appreciate him. He's one. He's a great modern era role player era era. He could be a team USA guy 43 years ago, you know, lock down defense, knock down wingshooter, could be on the floor anytime with anybody can do a bunch of things. That's the kind of guy. It's definitely one of those snapshots as well. You guys brought up the no fly zone last segment. It's like guys like Harris to leave that you're going to remember from that Broncos championship team. KCP fits right in that kind of mold, not, not necessarily no fly zone, but, you know, three and I know, listen, when you, his role, I like that a lot. We needed it. We'll look back at the championship team, Broncos championship team. And we'll think, man, uncle Jeff, man, he was so, you know, just Bruce Brown. KCP, I mean, there's just people that you're like, he's just, and then the next year when you play without them and you're staring at the TV and we're blowing a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter, you're like, man, nothing is like that is the difference between, you know, this year and last year, nothing stays the same. Okay. It's like stays the same in life, let alone professional sports. Look at the turnover every year you have in every sport, like every single sport. The Broncos back to back is so difficult. You can't even recognize the Broncos now from this year to next year, from last year to this year. And, you know, same goes for the nuggets. There's only seven guys who really play when it matters and nine or 10 guys who play throughout the regular season, you know, it's all about the makeup and the chemistry and the cohesion and the run and then the bracket that you're in and then the match ups. And that's it. It's just, it's hard to win championships. It's super hard to win. Let's be so grateful for the one that the nuggets gave us. We'll never forget it. It's an all time great championship here in this town that has a bunch of them. It's one of the greatest sports towns in America. It is because, you know, yeah, we're not new. We're not in California. We're not in New York or Boston, but you were the next best thing. Who's got more than us? Texas. So divided. So spread out so far. Boom. Denver, right? You look at that map right there, the mile high city, but you can go left, you're gonna mountains the Cali and go north and go, you're like, I was, I was a great city, Colorado. I wouldn't couldn't be prouder to live anywhere else. I was surprised to to see clay Thompson go to the Dallas Mavericks instead of the Orlando magic. I felt like clay Thompson was a great fit with the Orlando magic. But they might be onto something. KCP might be an even better fit in Orlando than clay would have been and clay might be kind of nasty in Dallas. I don't know how you can play any worse for a team in the last game of your career for a historic franchise that you kind of helped put on the map. I mean, it's so wild how clay went out in in Golden State. I think he deserved better and I wouldn't be shocked if he's kind of successful in Dallas. And then for Denver in the meantime, I think you've just got to, you know, move forward and are you placing like, how many eggs are you placing in the Christian Brown basket? Like, do you think if we get Russell Westbrook, that's our final move, we were talking about trying to go out and get bugged on Bogdanovich. And I don't know if you'd be starting Bogdanovich at the two, like, I don't know where you'd be starting him if you got him, but he has to be starting at that point. And I think it would, would it take a lot to get him at this point? Is that why they're like, okay, Westbrook is our best option? It's like Brooks, just the Bogdanovich conversations have just gone silent. You need to do a trade to get him, I would think. I don't know if he's worth it. I think that's what Calvin, I think Calvin Booth doesn't value aging veteran players who even on take a lot of money in this last year, their contract, and it's the last year of the deal, the money, becomes available. He doesn't seem to be that kind of guy because there's championship teams who load up on guys like that, the Lakers are, you know, not championship team, but try to do that in recent kind of years. This team needs like a Grayson Allen or some kind of, you know, just one more real piece who can like three or four nights a year in the regular season going to win you games, do some improbable stuff, and never hurt you all the rest of the nights, play a great team ball and done cost to a lot of money. Grayson Allen actually got a pretty big contract, he makes some good money now, but, you know, I don't mean Bogdanovich, I would think. I think they got to make one more move. They got to shore up shooting guard. I think, Alex, I really believe that and we got to go to break, that there's one more upgrade to that guy, Bogdanovich, at the same price, whether it be through a trade, not in the, you know, for agency, we know there's not any of those guys left. There's a trade somewhere where I think Calvin Booth thinks we can find a better player with a little bit more to give than him. That's why, that's why we're waiting on Westbrook still. Well, no, Westbrook's going to join the team, I think. I think Westbrook's agent might be waiting for a few more dollars or one more, like, better team. We have to trade for Westbrook as well. No, not. No, but for Bogdanovich, I think it would be a trip. For sure. I'm saying, like, Westbrook might be like, okay, well, if I can get seven or eight million from Miami, I'll go there instead of the four million, then nuggets are offering me. Because we're talking about three million dollars, a lot of money. It's quite, you know, it's almost twice as much. So I think that's the hang up on Russ. And when Russ realizes it's the same money, so we have to come up a little taste. And it's a championship fit. And let's go get that championship real quick. Sixers making moves. Did they improve or stay the same? They're a threat now. Yeah. Paul George has so many things without having to touch the ball. And they got killed Martin too, right? They resigned. Kelly Ubre. That hurts the heat losing killing Martin. They got drum end as well. Rebounding. They're pushing pieces like I've been drumming here for two years and no money turn up a little bit. Over to you, Jordan. Absolutely. You'd play. It's the season of the Snicks and I saw her mom she forgot that I existed. Hey, good jaggy, but I just thought to play the victim of my drink, I'll go home till my friends come back for Christmas. Who sings this? This is back on the other side of the iceboard. The jury store and tell them, make me a grill. Final segment. A few minutes left. Worth of this show. Rocky Mountain card spectacular, a card show at the Gold Crown Field House, August 10th and 11th. Iverson is going to be there. Fat lever is going to be there. There's going to be tons of great vendors, tons of tables. Not just cards, going to be some collectibles for sure for days. Big Horn autographs can have their set up. They got the most beautiful autographs from any local Denver athlete that you'd want, and it's all like the real deal. It's not all shady fake stuff like you're going to find everywhere. And then Mike, Stadium sports cards, this is going to be a big, huge show. You have to check this show out. It's about a month away. It is a month away. So make sure you're ready for what's going to be a pretty monster weekend and that Saturday you're going to have a chance to get fat lever as well as Alan Iverson, who may never be in town to do this again for a couple hundred bucks. I think it's worth going and getting Alan Iverson's autograph. OK, Alex, what did at this point in the show, what did Eric Goodman do? Well, he turns to me and I come at him with some topics. Do you see the you're exactly there you go that the Uruguay players go into the stands last night after losing the Columbia and they started fighting. You guys hear that? Now this is a ballast. They were beating those fans loud, dude. I never in my life would go to one of those thought that I would see malice at the palace again, let alone in 2024, like, yeah, but what are we doing? That's not in America, bro. That's that shows the culture of co no, we do it to know we know we did it here. We did. That's the culture of crazy sports fans and scares you a little bit. It's super scary. Imagine you have a kid, even like, you know, a little kid or JJ or like any size kid. They could get hit with a woman, your wife, your girlfriend, whatever, over get knocked down, get knocked over some bleachers, Alex crazy, dude, I does it deter you from going to totally. I don't think it's no, no, no, no, not sporting events, but in other countries. Yeah. Okay. You're staying in the US. You just say we do it here. I, you know, of course, I'm like, you want to go around the world and see other countries and stuff like that. But man, I'd be careful. We love those people hate Americans anyways. We love those ex videos of like, haven't you seen hostile LA Rams fans fighting that those two chicks are scary. Those two chicks really like that guy. I don't think hostel is real. I'm going to pretend like hostel is not real. I'd say there's way more crazy stuff than that that goes on in real life. You at first back there are no real dude. So she got swallowed up by big Oilers girl. She just got soared past by Oilers girl. Girls girl got dominated by hot two girl. So my question to you, do you think there are girls in the world out there that are like, I would not give my life up to be hot to a girl or do you think every girl would want to be not every girl? But I think like two or three out of every 10 girls would want to be hot to a girl. That's it though. Just two or three. Sure. Because I'm like seven or eight out of ten. You got three people don't want to go in public and talk to anybody. Another two people have some shame. Another two or three people might have like some morals and be a fear. And then there's like two or three people. And there's two or three that I've got. Oh, got to know. No, no, no, no, no. Go. Two. Oh, bros. Yeah, bro. He's that bro. I said bros guys. Fingers out. Four Alex Becker. He runs the show man. He's one of the great ones. Kyle Barry. Great job. See you tomorrow, Kyle. Yeah. Angie on Williams. Great stuff, GG. I am Danny Williams. We appreciate you guys that we love you guys. Good night. Sheila. Good night. Thank you Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Go easy and hope. What the hell you paying? It's talking real reckless. Stop me.
