Welcome to The Big Success Show! Today, we're going to party in the parking lot! The Big Success Show with George and Mary Lynn. I have to say Mary Lynn, I think this is my favorite time of year. You know, it's just awesome because we're lucky we live in a college town with college football. And I just love going to the games. I even love actually watching games on TV, but it's just great to be there in the environment. That's true. We bleed orange and blue here. That's right. Go Alainai. We're fighting Alainai. And it's just so much fun to go tailgating. It's a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon. Geez, everywhere you turn around, somebody's grilling something. Chilling something. Yes. Playing games, you know, all the fun little tailgate games, the bean bag toss and all those kinds of games. And everyone's sporting their team colors. That's right. And that gets the rivalry going with fans of the other team. And it's just a fun environment. And it's always fun catching up with people. There's people at tailgating that we don't see outside of tailgating. So once a year, we get to hang out with them for a few games. And I always have to pull out my Nerf football, George, because I love to play catch when we're out tailgating. Yeah, I know. You've got quite the zinger of an arm. It's really an expensive fun, right? Yeah. And the cool thing is you just get to see so many people. It's a great opportunity to network or net play as we like to call it, right? Definitely. Speaking of playing Mary Lynn, I have to tell you, you do some good networking because you really impress people with your ability to throw the washers. Yeah, I'm coachable. That's right. You know, and washers are very similar to the old bean bag game, right? Hey, man. It's all about competition and winning. And coming up how one man became the world's only professional tailgater. Today, we're talking about how much we love tailgating. And we love it because it gives us an opportunity to catch up with people that we don't get to see that often. That's right. And Joe Kahn had a passion for tailgating. So he thought, "You know what? I'm going to sell my businesses. I'm going to sell my house. I'm going to buy a motor home. And I'm going to hit the road." And he did just that. He did. And he became or the self-proclaimed, I guess. But he's known now as the commissioner of tailgating. And he's been doing this 11 years now. Actually, I remember seeing a show about this, Mary Lynn. He's even got sponsors like one of the RV companies, I believe sponsors him now. Coca-Cola, I think, has part of a deal with him somehow. But he's visited all 31 National Football League stadiums. He's been to over 123 college stadiums. He's even tailgated at nine NASCAR tracks. And he says at this point he's now tailgated with hundreds of thousands of people. Wow. And the thing is, he tailgates, but he doesn't go to the games. That's right. And in fact, the show that I saw, I referenced earlier, I remember him saying, "Look, the commissioner of football doesn't go tailgating, so I don't go to the football games." Well, and what we love about Joe and his story is that he had a passion for tailgating and he found a way to be able to do it all year long. And he's got a great website that we're going to tell you about here in a minute. Yeah, and the other thing that's essentially Mary Lynn, you know, here we are in the middle of a presidential race, right? Well, Joe actually has started the third political party. Really? Yeah, it's the tailgating party. Okay. And here's one of the planks on their platform. He says, "Forget left wing or right wing, give me the chicken wing." That's the tailgating party for you. You can get a written summary of today's show on our site at Big Success. That's big with 2gsuccess.com. And we do have a link to Joe's website. And man, it's just jam-packed full of tailgating recipes, party tips, trivia, even parking lot information. Do you want to go tailgate with him? Next time we ask, do you want to be a millionaire? Tune in and we'll tell you how. Until then, here's to your big success. The Big Success Show at B-I-G-G Success.com. [MUSIC PLAYING] [BLANK_AUDIO]
