>> Welcome to The Big Success Show. Today, we'll discuss how a virtual assistant benefits your business. >> The Big Success Show with George and Mary Lynn. >> Today, we welcome Denise Griffiths to The Big Success Show. Denise is the founder and CEO of your virtual assistant, a company that provides highly trained administrative professionals for support, technical, and creative services for small businesses, startup businesses, individuals, and online entrepreneurs. Welcome to The Big Success Show, Denise. >> All right, thank you for having me. >> It's great to have you on board and we all need time management help, and it seems like virtual assistants is the way to go. >> I really do believe it is and let me tell you, most everybody these days needs a VA. >> So how does a virtual assistant work? >> Literally, we operate from our home offices using your systems or your processes that are in place. If they're not in place, we set them in place. We can help you literally with almost anything that doesn't require that we are physically in your office to file paper. My particular niche is we deal with online entrepreneurs. And they have very special needs, they run fast and furious. There are a lot of systems that they have to work in like one shopping cart, infusion soft. It gets kind of crazy. These people are building huge online industries or huge online businesses, and we literally partner up with them and take care of the back end and create processes systems, product launches. If they need it, we do it. >> That's cool Denise. Now, if I wanted to hire a virtual assistant, what tips would you offer me? >> You really need to know what kind of questions to ask. A lot of people will call us and they literally don't know what they're looking for. So we have created a system where we sit down and we chat with them for about half an hour, determine what their real needs are, not what they think their needs might be, but really what it is, where their time seepage comes from. And literally, that's where VA steps in at the very beginning and takes away all of them in new shape of your day that it frees the client up to become very creative. It frees their mind up to where they can just say, now I know how to go forward because I've got all of this taken care of in the back. Don't be afraid to ask questions. >> Well, Denise, I can imagine that sort of the initial question a lot of people would have is just, can I afford it? How affordable is a virtual assistant or compared to let's say hiring someone locally? >> It's really much more affordable in hiring somebody locally because if you're hiring somebody to be in your office or even work in their own office sometimes, you have all of the taxes, the social security. A virtual assistant is a contract employee, we pay our own taxes, we have our own offices, we actually have a rate calculator on our blog. A virtual assistant industry forward slash blog, you can go on there and calculate what the difference is going to be between hiring that person in your office and hiring a virtual assistant. The savings are considerable. >> That's a really smart thing to have that calculator. And we do have a link to your blog on ours today at big success.com. And coming up, could you benefit from a virtual assistant? Denise is going to tell us about a client who did. >> Today we're talking to Denise Griffiths, who's the CEO of your virtual assistant. And Denise, you say you have a client who you can talk about who benefited from a virtual assistant, go ahead and tell us about that. >> We had one client and she's actually become my best client, I love her dearly. She called me, rather in a panic, she had two virtual assistants already who, while they were very competent, really did not know how to work in our specialized niche, which is working with online entrepreneurs. She had a product that she was getting ready to launch in three weeks. What she had was a concept and a date. She had already published the date. That was literally it. I have to tell you when I was talking with her, my stomach started. >> [LAUGH] >> And then once we both calmed down, I said, well, we can do, we can set this process in place without boring you with all the details. In three weeks, we produced a product, we created art for the CDs, we created CDs, we created audio, manuals, print work, artwork. We had it shipped and in the customer's hands on time. >> Geez. >> And I was so proud of myself. >> [LAUGH] >> That's what a VA can do and that's like I say, our niche is generally working with online entrepreneurs. It is so much fun to work with these people. They have a vision, they know where they're going and let me tell you, they carry you along for the ride, it's fabulous. >> That's cool. >> And real quickly, if somebody wanted to be a part of your virtual assistant team, a lot of people are looking for ways to do some work and use their talents and freelance, how would somebody do that? >> Send a resume to us, really we're looking for people who have a lot of online experience, not simply administrative but online as well. Send a resume to resumes@virtualassistantindustry.com. We are looking for people all of the time and what we do is once we talk with you and find out what your particular skill level is, we'll give you a project. And if these projects are finished in a timely manner and everything is good, then we'll bring you on as a full VA. There are a lot of very talented people out there. I would love to talk with them. >> Well, we'll see if we can send a few of your way Denise. >> All right, and yes, and definitely check out virtualassistantindustry.com and talk to Denise about getting some help, relieving some stress. >> Help, I need somebody. >> Yes. >> Hey, you know that could be a website. >> There you go. >> That's yours. >> That's right. >> I'm going to go see if it's a bit. >> I think John Lennon and Paul McCartney have it. >> Oh, you might be right. >> Yeah, you never know. Actually, it's probably Michael Jackson at this point. >> Yeah. >> Jeez. >> We thank you so much for being part of the Big Success Show today. And we look forward to talking to you again. >> Well, thank you so much for having me on, it is kind of genuine pleasure. >> You can get a written summary of our show today at Big Success. That's big with 2gsuccess.com and it includes those links that Denise mentioned today. >> Next time we ask, are they hearing what you're saying? >> Huh? >> Can you hear me now? >> Until then, here's to your big success. >> The Big Success Show at B-I-G-G Success.com.
