I am hype about this project y'all. It's the most visually stunning thing I've seen thus far in 2024 by a country mile. Today I'm chatting with artist Jonathan Marks Barravecchia about his new Image Comics series that he's co-creating with writer Sean Lewis Bear, Pirate, Viking, Queen. This thing is a straight up visual feast. It's poetic carnage and something you just have to see. I've been wanting to do more deep dives into the artistic process and this was a perfect chance to engage with a daring mixed media illustrator pushing the boundaries of the comics medium.
