I read issue #1 of Lotus Land and it's a science-fiction noir, set in a future version of Vancouver. It's a mystery where we, the reader, follow along as things unravel but at its heart is the story of a parent and child. I loved it. I have been a fan of Darcy's work since the owner of my LCS put a copy of Little Bird #1 into my hand and said "You MUST read this", because Little Bird is one of the best comics I have ever read.
