Issue #1 is out October 11th and it does not disappoint. This series picks up immediately after the Director's Cut ending of the 1993 movie and is extremely satisfying to this longtime fan, but it also works perfectly as a jumping-on point for new initiates of the Deadite Army. Tony, Justine, and I chat about the task of creating a comic that appeals to fans both old and new, wondering why no one had tried this before, and capturing the spirit of Ash Williams in both the dialogue and the visuals.
