Creating your big leap is easier than you think. What's good? I'm Rob Crassie, and on today's unlimited call, we brainstormed around what creating that leap looks like for each of us. And when I share my screen for a second here, and it was inspired by this quote that I read this morning that said, "Put yourself in a position "that demands you leap." And this came from Ryan Holiday's book, "Courage is calling." So that was our launching pad to discuss what a leap in our business or our life looks like. And there's really two areas that I encourage us to explore. Number one, who are you being in being the person that creates this leap? And then number two, what is the action that you get to do to create this leap? And with that, we all explored it. And I was created with my friend, Hakim. And Hakim says, "I wanted to speak on more stages." And one of the things that I shared with him about creating this leap is to be open to the possibility that speaking on more stages is actually accessible to him right this second. Yes, he wants to speak on more physical stages with hundreds and thousands of people in the audience in a microphone and being on stage in lights and all of that stuff. But here's what I know to be true. You can always create your own stage because as a speaker, one of the keys is getting in your reps. So what I encouraged him to do was start to use live streaming more. Why? Because there's a difference when you are on and I'm exhibiting this right now because when I create my podcasts almost exclusively, I always live stream them. And there's a few reasons for this. Number one is getting in my reps of being live because if I mess up, everybody's gonna see me mess up. So this creates this confidence, this earned confidence by doing this. Number two, I know from a marketing standpoint that the platforms love live streaming. So people are gonna get a message, boom, Rob's live. Boom, Rob's live, boom, Rob's live. So now that is organically building my brand. I don't expect people are gonna be watching minutes 10, 15, 20 minutes of what I do. But I want drip, drip, drip. So my encouragement to Kean was, "Hey brother, go ahead and do some live streaming." And one of the things that has really served me is I'll create these things into challenges. So for example, I've previously done a 21 day live streaming challenge because the thing that stops us the most when we want to be more of a speaker is actually just pressing record on what am I gonna say? Oh my God, what if I mess up? Will anybody show up? Here's the thing, all of that is irrelevant to me because the key is you want to get comfortable being uncomfortable. And one of the best ways you can do that is just to push that little record button right there. So Kean's like, you know what, I am going to do that. I'm going to do a live stream today, which he did. But of course, who would I be to also say, you know what, I'm also gonna do a live stream today because I want to live or practice what I preach. And that's what I'm doing right here. And to yes, in this, last night I was watching the new Netflix show, "Receivers." And on it, they had a segment about the lion's receiver, Amun Ross St. Brown. And I believe he was like eight years old or something. And his dad was a two time Mr. Olympia for weightlifting. So he came from this high performance background. And when he's playing a little league football, his dad saw that there was one kid on the team who had really good hands. So he went up to the father of that son and said, "Hey, what are you doing so that your son "has such good hands?" And what the dad said is, "Oh, we bought one of those jugs machines." So that's that machine with the two circles and you put a full bone, it spins out there. And boom, you can go ahead and catch it. Well, they went ahead and bought that. And they're like, "Whoa, how much are you doing?" And he's like, "Yeah, my son catches 200 balls "every single day." So Amun Ross St. Brown's dad went ahead, bought the jugs machine. And they said, "Well, if he's doing 200, "we're going to do 202." And since then I believe it's every day, Amun Ross St. Brown has caught 202 balls a day from a jugs machine. And of course, as good habits would have it, he became a professional wide receiver. And why am I sharing this? Because you want to get in the reps. Whether you want to be like my friend at Keem and speak on more stages, you want to start getting your reps of the stages. It's like, man, imagine if you were livestreaming every single day, getting in those reps the same way that Amun Ross St. Brown, 202, 202, 202. So my encouragement for you is to ask yourself, what are the reps that you want to get in your own life? Because here's the thing that you really learn about this. The way that you create a quantum leap in your business and your life is actually just by focusing on what is that one smallest action? So for me and at Keem, boom, we're just going to do a livestream. For Amun Ross St. Brown, it's boom. I'm just going to catch 202 balls every single day. Simple, simple, simple, drip, drip, drip. Because when you are built for the game in entrepreneurship and when you want to succeed in business and in life, it is really just a series of small habits, perspectives and actions that you take. And when you understand that a big leap isn't actually that big, it's usually just one thing that you may do consistently over and over and over again. And once you're open to this perspective, you can say, all right. So I'm going to wrap a bow on this. I'm going to encourage you to ask yourself, number one, what is that big leap that you would love to take or create in your business or in your life? Number two, who do you get to be to be that person? Look at your state of being. Are you someone who sees that leap as stranger, danger, unknown? Oh my God, the darkness is scary. Or is that leap an opportunity? And then number three, what is the smallest action that you get to take? One's over zeros. What is the one thing that you can do today that can help you make progress on creating that leap in your business or in your life? And I would love to hear from you, share a little bit more about what's on your mind for the leap that you would love to create in your life.
