Buzzworthy news and stars. Now. Ohhh. Ohh. You were now listening to Buzz radio. Yo. Yo. But it doesn't go. This is Blake Lewis. He's listening to Buzz. Right. Right. Right. What were the radio? Wow. It took very long for it to unmute myself on the microphone, didn't it? But I'm here now for that all that matters and welcome to a new edition of Buzzworthy Radio. I'm your host, Mabelle J. Lee. It is Thursday, May 20th, 2010, 1030 AM Eastern. 730 AM Pacific Time here on Blow Talk Radio.com. In just about 10 minutes, we're going to be joined by one of our favorites here on the show. She's making an appearance all the time here. Whenever we can get her to come here, I'll just breathe. We'll be joining us at about 1040 this morning. This plays Annie on community, on NBC, as well as having a role as Tricky Campbell on ANC's Mad Men. She'll be joining us about 8 minutes time. So stay put. She'll be with us shortly. Geez. And technical difficulties off the wobbly, right? But we'll handle them. We'll handle them, as much as we always handle everything here on the show. So definitely facing the dash. We'll be here in about 10 minutes. In the meantime, some new stuff that I wanted to get out there definitely for you guys to hear. I don't know what you guys thought about this last night, but I read this on Yahoo, and I did post it on Twitter and on our Facebook page that Justin Bieber got a BET nomination for Best New Artist. Yeah, I still got nothing. I still got nothing. How am I supposed--where am I supposed to go from that? I mean, seriously, I don't get--what is the appeal of this boy, this 16-year-old boy that--all I could say is that I must be doing something wrong with my life because Molly Burnett got a daytime Emmy nomination, number one. Number two, the guy that did the paparazzi cover on the piano got a record deal with this show. Number three, Justin Bieber got himself a BET nomination for Best New Artist. Yeah, obviously, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong because apparently I'm not able to get a nomination. I'm not able to get a record deal. Hell, I'm not able to get all regular FM radio. Seriously, what is going on? The apocalypse must be coming, but again, I have nowhere to go with that. And it's just hysterical to seeing how people who are of my age love this dude and--I don't know. I think--I don't know. I'm not a loss of words. I think that's actually the one topic that actually rendered me speechless. It really rendered me speechless. But yep, I still got nothing. I'm trying to come up with something. I can't. I can't do it. I'm really stuck on it. I'm stuck. I don't even have an insult to fling about it. There's no way. Well, I'm sure one will come to me very shortly, but you know what? Yeah, I got nothing. So all I can say right now is Justin Bieber. I wish you well in that category I do. But other than that, there's nowhere else to go with it. Wow. But if you've got opinions about it, please send your emails to Natalie@buzzworthyradio.net or shoot us a message on Twitter @buzzworthyradio or on our Facebook page to find us. Just type in "buzzworthyradio." Go to our fan page. We're there. Definitely want your opinions on this. I actually got opinions about this last night and pretty much were the same kind of statements that I'm making as we speak. There were no words. No, whatsoever. So I'm done. What is not about the cancellation lately? We haven't had a show since we had saw about all the shows being canceled on ABC. NBC, NBC, and CBS. I can't believe that they canceled. Those were the new adventures of old Christine and they canceled Law and Order, the original Law and Order, just one near shot of breaking the record for gun smoke. Just one near shot of breaking the record and they canceled Law and Order. Can you believe that? I really think the apocalypse is now coming because that guy canceled. Never would I have thought to ever read that Law and Order was going to get canceled any time soon. But unfortunately the word spreads. It is getting canceled. And romantically challenged got canceled. It was just like, it was in, what? It was not even mid-season. But came on to the end of the season running and all of a sudden after four episodes they now decided to give it the boot. I mean, you didn't even give romantically challenged a chance. And you canceled it right off the bat. I mean, seriously, only had four episodes going in. What was it that bad of a show that you had to cancel about giving in a shot? At least give it a 13 episode arc to see what they can do with it. I mean, come on. Seriously, why are you, why are you going to cancel a show after four episodes in? That absolutely makes no sense. And then, Law is about to go off the air, which I really don't care about. Sorry. I think I'm one of the few people that actually does not care about Law. I don't see the point in it. Like, really? What's the big deal about Law? Like, really? What is it? Like, what's the deal of Law? Of course, you have to make yourself think when you watch the show, because it's a, or the honestly, it's a smart show, a very smart show. You're going to have your thinking canceled when you watch it, because it's a very, let me put it in another way. Let me, let me back that up. Let me back that up. Basically, the show for Law, you definitely got to watch every episode in order to understand what's going on. If you miss an episode, you absolutely be left out of the loop. You'll have no idea what's going on, and you definitely have to hold aside asking somebody what the hell just happened here in the show. You're going to have to backtrack. Because it's seriously like that of a show, of that kind of caliber. I mean, any other show on the air right now, if you miss a day, you really don't need to be caught up on anything. But if you miss an episode of Law, you're going to be lost. That's very much how it boils down to. But that's just it. And of course, we got the daytime Emmy coming up in a month, and about a month's time, the daytime Emmy's on CBS taking place at the Law's Vegas Hilton on June 27, 2010, on CBS at 9 p.m. Eastern. I can't wait if my first time in Cincinnati, it's going to be a blast. We're going to have a lot of fun. We definitely should do a show to talk about some of the nominations, actually. I know some definitely want to do that. So I think we should do that. Talk about the nominations, who you think should have been nominated, who you think should not have been nominated. Definitely got overlooked, and I know that people got a lot of opinions about who was not nominated and who was nominated. I know I do as well, but it really wasn't that big deal as far as I was concerned. But in the meantime, we actually have joining with us for the third time on this show. She's one of our favorites here on Buzzworthy. The Community Finale is tonight, by the way, on NBC at 8 p.m. Checking the local listings, ladies and gentlemen. Allison Breeze joining us on the line right now. How are you? What up, Buzzworthy? What up, Allison Breeze? Welcome back. Thank you. We definitely had to have you back here. We definitely had to have you back. Let me explain. You're like one of our homies here. Come on. You're one of those people that we have on the show all the time, because you know what? You are just that cool. Oh, thank you. I still ride at home, right at home here. You should feel right at home here. I got it back. I got to start right off with this first before we get into it. We need to give a shout out to someone who just started listening to the show, and he's a huge fan of yours. I know you're listening to the show right now. We're giving a shout out to you. Allison, give a shout out to Chip right now. Say what up, Chip? Chip, what up, Chip? Thanks for listening. What up, Chip? Thanks for watching the show, Chip. What a great guy. You're awesome. He is awesome. Nashville, Tennessee. Is that good? Is that a good shout out? This is all for you, man. This is for you, right here, right now. It's coming for you, Chip. You know, he actually was on Twitter saying that we needed to get you back here. I was like, please. She's gonna be back here. Thanks, Steve. Thanks, Chip. This one really is for you. You made this happen, Chip, if you're listening. Oh, yeah. Yes, he is. Yes, it is. This is all for you, man. And, like I just said, as soon as I brought you on tonight's the night. See you tonight. Tonight's the night. I know. Wrapping it up. Shutting it down. Bring it to a close. As long as it's coming back next season, that's all I'm worried about. You can bring it to a close night, but if it's back next season, we're good. Yes, yes. We're all so excited and thankful that we're gonna be back next season. Are you having a season finale party tonight or anything? We're not. You know, we're kind of all split up. I think half of us are in New York and Joel's and I don't know where we're shooting a movie, so we're not gonna have a cast screening party. I might have my own screening party. It doesn't seem me and like a big bowl of popcorn. Like, I can't believe what's happening. Yeah, man. I mean, you know, we actually talked about this the last time you hear about the new feeling that sees this finale and everything, but it's interesting for me because it's like, even though you're gone one show, you're pretty soon gonna be starting another one filming. It's true. Well, actually, already Madman 2 and 4 is already in production for the summer. And then, yeah, community season 2 will be back at the end of July, so it's really not that much of a break. It's kind of well with the show continuing to air. It's nice because it doesn't feel like we've been gone. Yeah, exactly. And we do. And we do. We all watch our own show, except Joel. Except Joel and Chevy, maybe, but all the rest of us were always like, "Did you see the last episode? We're super nerdy about it." When you watch your own shows, are you one of those people that go like, "I can't believe I did this. I said, "Oh, I could have done this better." Or, you could do yourself. You know, it's more like, I think at first, the first time I ever saw myself on screen, I did critique myself. It's an interesting thing to watch yourself. And you're like, "Is that what I really look like?" "Ugh." But now, what makes it exciting is that when we're shooting, they let people improv a lot of stuff. And, you know, we do a lot of different takes. Sometimes it's alternate lines or alternate just kind of performances. And, you know, we might not be around for certain things that people are shooting. So, it's fun to watch the episodes because it's like, "Oh, they chose that take." Like, which one are they going to choose? Which, you know, we see what's got cut and what's still in. And, you know, like with the paintball episode, which is one of my favorites, I thought it was so great. You know, I got taken out -- Annie got taken out pretty early. So, I didn't get to see a lot of the stuff that was going on. And it was like a really intense episode. It took a long time to shoot. And so, I wasn't there for a lot of it. So, it was really cool to watch it. For me, it was just like being a viewer of the show. Oh, absolutely. And, let's be honest. Does it kind of really add on 10 pounds? Does it really help me out here? It certainly adds. It certainly adds. I got to tell you, when working on magnum, to get clothes, I feel like, you know, everyone, I think, the curious style kind of age is everyone quite a bit. You know, Kate's in point, I play a much older character on Mad Men than on Community, because you just kind of look older when you're dressed like an adult in the '60s, you know, and your hair's all done. And one of my mom's friends, you still always tell me that I looked so much heavier on that show than I looked in person. It was so mean. I said every time I'd see her, she'd be like, "Well, that man that plays your husband must be so skinny, 'cause next to him, you just look large." And I was like, "Thank you. Thanks a lot." Like, what? You know, if you don't have anything nice to say... Oh, for that. I think it does add a little weight, for sure. I think I just hope it does, these. I hope so, because that was just insulting. It's really, really wet there, you know? Hey. You know what? This is as long as it's not like that, all the camera is fine. Final opinion, I'm comfortable, I'm confident. So, it's okay. That's true. That's true. I just think that's hysterical. I couldn't say that to anybody to save my life. Actually, I can. But, you know, I wouldn't say it to you. But... Look, I love it. Because... It's a manners thing, I think. That's okay. It's a manners type of thing. Hey. She's wild. I guess. I don't know. There's been enough people to counteract it. There's been enough people on my team to counteract it, so it's okay. Okay. We'll go with that one. You know, I felt like it was clearly responses to that community episode where they felt Joel McHale making. Did you... Oh. I mean, tweet comments just swirled off the wagyu when that episode aired. I just started cracking up. I just thought it was hysterical. There were a lot of Twitter responses. There were also a lot of physical responses on set when we were shooting that episode. So... A physical response is like, what kind of physical responses? Well, you know, I think certain people, you know, it was a little bit... I don't know. There were so many emotions, like embarrassment or excitement or curiosity. Embarrassment and excitement, so... Sure. That's the same time. That's why I was channeling for Annie. I definitely bled a few times when I walked in 'cause I was unprepared. I think... I don't know if I've seen Joel without his shirt on before, but like, then just to see him and use a little underneath and then just to see him in these little nude, like, faux underneath 'cause, you know, when you get all these things on the show... Okay. Okay. All right. Now that you send that... Now that you send that... Okay. Let's reveal a secret. Joel McHale, Tidy Whitey's boxer briefs. Or boxing. Does he wear boxing? On the show. It was sort of a boxer brief, but it was, you know, I can't say what the man really wears. The man Joel McHale, because it was his character. It was wardrobe. It was his character wear. Yes. I've never seen Joel McHale's underwear just to Jeff Winger's underwear, so we'll leave it at that. Okay. I gotcha. I gotcha. There we go. You have to clarify it. It's the character. It's not Joel McHale. It's not Joel McHale. It's the character that he plays. It's not Joel McHale. It's not Joel McHale. It's not Joel McHale. It's not Joel McHale. That's the winner. Yeah. The underwear, it's not like Joel McHale, so, you know. Back it up. Back it up. It's back it up. It doesn't worry about it. That's all there is to it. But I tell you, I tell you what, I just never saw so many responses to that episode in my entire time throughout the entire season. I think that episode alone was probably the most I've ever seen anybody talk about. It was just crazy, crazy madness, but had a good at the same time. I'm glad we love, that's why we love Joel because he's always willing to take off his clothes to get more viewers. We love that. We're just pimping out Joel anywhere we can. Oh, we got chips on the line. I see 'em. I see 'em. Uh oh. Oh. Where do you want to shift? I know you're there. I can come here to you. Come on, talk. Over here. Over here. Get up high. Oh, wow. This is amazing. Thank you so much for the shout out. Oh, my gosh. Chip, thanks for getting me back on this show. I heard it was all because of you. It is. It is. Oh, you're welcome. Thank you for coming back. You're welcome, absolutely. How's it been going? Have you been tweeting a lot these days? A little bit. A little bit. Not too bad. No, I'm down here in Nashville, so, you know, help recovery from the flood so. Yeah, it's great. It's great. Oh, yeah, everything is great now. It's going a whole lot better, I said. Oh, good. Your property is okay. Oh, yes. Luckily, you know, my part now is like up on a hill. So I was one of those areas in between. Oh, good. Yeah, I live up on a hill too. I think it's the best way to go. Above ground, you know, just kind of like. Oh, that's so awesome. It's great to put a voice to the name. To the name. Oh, yeah, my life is a southern accent. So I got going on here. Yeah, I love it. I love a good southern accent. Oh, a little southern accent here going on. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. But thanks for calling it. I know that Allison got tons of other radio stores towards the do. And I appreciate you coming back here. We got to watch the season finale tonight at the community. Allison, all of the pleasure. Oh, thank you. Please tune in. Chip, spread the word. Continue to spread the word. And there's a lot of pleasure talking to you guys. Love it. Take care, girl. All right, good one. Wow, amazing chip. Thanks so much for calling in. We got you here. You got to say your piece to Allison. Now, was it? All right, thank you much. I appreciate it. Absolutely, man. And the next time she comes back, you definitely have the floor again.
