God told the radio, come get you live in this buzzworthy radio where you can get the latest buzz. I'm all your favorite shows and stars buzzworthy stars now. Happy Monday everybody, welcome to Buzzworthy Radio. It is April 26, 2010, 9.30 a.m. Eastern here at blafockradio.com. We are right now joined by Mr. Kyle Bornheimer who stars in ADC's news, it's automatically challenged. How are you? I'm great, how are you? I'm good. Thanks for stopping by this morning. It's a pleasure having you. Oh, this is great to be here. Absolutely. Let's get right into it. Let's talk about the show and your character. You play the character Perry on the show and describe Perry in your own words. How are they in your opinion? Perry is the, like you said, the show is automatically challenged and it's four characters who definitely are that. They're kind of in different states of being single and my particular character, like Alyssa Milano plays a character who's recent divorcee who's just getting back on the dating world. We're her friends who kind of guide her, well, misguide her through the dating world. We're all misguiding each other basically. You don't want advice from any of these four people. And then I play the character that I am the most romantic of the romantically challenged bunch. I fall in love. I fall out of love. I am convinced love is just around the corner. I love romantic movies and quiet nights. I'm that guy and completely in some ways what many women would probably dream of in terms of a romantic guy but then a complete, I end up ruining it somehow because I'm overly enthusiastic or so I'm the most romantic and that actually gets me in trouble that I'm so romantic. So you're too sensitive. You're too sensitive. Yes. I didn't know that it's quite possible to be too sensitive. You can get ahead of yourself in many ways but then he kind of does it to him so he falls in love really fast. Then he'll fall right out of love and he's such a nice guy so I guess you're right. There's always really good traits that he's just that much too much of. He's very nice but sometimes he's too nice and like he's an episode coming up where he's got to fire this incredibly awful employee of his but he's just too nice to do it and he accidentally gets himself into a relationship with her trying to fire her, he ends up dating her but he doesn't want to date her either because she's a crazy woman. And then to get on dating with her he ends up hiring her again and you just see and it's all because he's such a nice, nice guy and then his friends have to kind of rally around him to help him. I guess this proves true of the nice guys finish last theory that I kind of thought was false. That is not a true, no two nice guys I guess if you're too nice you finish in the middle somewhere. I don't think any nice guys finish last. I've never understood that phrase. That phrase is well first of all a nice person wouldn't have come up with that so it's a really bitter, I don't think a nice person ever came up but I think a very bitter person that kind of just maybe gave a nod to nice one day like okay I'll try this nice thing and it didn't work out for them and they're like she told you nice guys don't get nothing. I think I never understood that phrase. I never either so you know let's throw that phrase right now. Yeah let's just get rid of it. Let's get rid of it. In this episode tonight I call the charade, I see that you're supposed to kick Sean or you're trying to kick Sean out of the apartment tonight. Sean and I are roommates and I support him he's a writer, I run a very successful financial planning business and he's my roommate and we're great friends and he's a writer and I really believe in him as a writer so I just let him stay with me and I don't care. I fit the bill because I think he's gonna make it someday and he's my friend but things get a little tense between us because he's you know I feel like maybe sometimes he's taking it for granted. So it's kind of a romance situation tonight which is really fun. We play a lot with that kind of stuff in the show, the modern male relationship and it's many romantic incarnations. Romantic incarnations, I like that word I'm not able to use that. You can use romance, mostly I didn't come up with romantic although I did come up with singleosity when I tried to describe our four characters as being in different states of singleosity so that I will allow you to use and you and I will probably be the only two people that use that because I'm not sure singleosity is going to catch on. I don't think so but it's a nice effort but it's a romance. Promance caught on, the singleosity, you never know, you never know it's my travelosity caught on, the singleosity.com, it's a travel website for single people, there we go. I gotta ask you because I don't know what this is, in 2007 Entertainment Weekly proclaimed you as the half-minute man, what exactly is that? Unfortunately it has to do with the bedroom, the half-minute man, no, it was the, I was in so many commercials during a short period of time that I was, I was popping up, hocking goods for a variety of companies on your television sets for a long time that Entertainment Weekly was like who is that guy that keeps popping up in all these commercials? And they declared me, you said the half-minute guy, which I wear proudly, that award. Yes, I was just in a bunch of commercials and which is where I was able to get some exposure and get some other opportunities for TV and movies. Wouldn't it have been awful if somebody who, like myself, did not know what half-minute men meant and you automatically just went straight there, like you just said. Well, it definitely fits both, it's, it's not a stretch to say that. That's scary, I mean seriously, we'll probably be reading that, not knowing what that meant and going like, oh my God, I can't do with this guy, it's gonna last, it's gonna last minute into that, you're really terrible, please put an effort forth there, guy. Oh my God, please, don't fail on me right now, come on, it's the Supreme Court justices or something, just name all the states, do something, you can go pass the half a minute. Oh God, girl, please, if you're listening right now, please, let me tell you, yeah, we're not those, we're talking about this, don't get the wrong idea, if anything, the half-minute men described Kyle's character on the show, Martha in real life, it's a very fancy name for a commercial guy that does Emodium AD commercials, so that should be a turn on. Oh yeah, I'm sure people, women really get turned on when they see guys heading off into the bathroom to let it rip, yeah, some people do, some people do, I worked in the video store and the adult section was full of very strange, so we say tendencies by people that like things like that. Oh my God, I thought people in my town were weird, but right now you just basically up the scales for me, this is great, this is wonderful, I am loving it, I am loving it, well, I know that the show is going to be on tonight, following the answer with the stars, these are two, 932, I like that, 932, it can't be 939, we're shaking things up at ABC with the time-startings, 932s and 9 on ABC are basically challenged, Kyle Bornheimer, thank you so much for stopping over here, man, it was quick, well I appreciate it, any time, can't have me back any time, I would love to, and before you run off here, one of the things we like is stars that do promos and I don't know if you're interested in doing one, I'll just say this is Kyle Bornheimer, you're listening to Buzzworthy radio or your own spin, but the floor is yours, hi, this is Kyle Bornheimer, you're listening to Buzzworthy, there it is, Kyle Bornheimer, thank you so much man, great talking to you, thank you, anytime.
