it is Buzzworthy Radio for you to get the latest buzz on all your favorite shows and stars. Buzzworthy. Start. Now. G'day guys, it's Daniel Goddard from Young and the Lovelace, and this is my Australian Accent. It's a Buzzworthy Radio, and it is a fantastic place to be. Good morning, everybody. Welcome to a new episode of Buzzworthy Radio here on blobsaulkradio.com. I am Nevelle J. Lee, your host of this podcast. It is Thursday, April 15, 2010, 11 a.m., Eastern, 8 a.m., Pacific Time. We're going to be joined in 10 minutes by Sean Christian, who plays the role of Dr. Daniel Jonas on NBC daytime days of our lives. He's also going to be in the NBC movie Secrets of the Mountain, which we're also going to talk about, which airs this Friday, April 16, at 8 p.m., and I know people have asked that this was going to be a live interview, yes, it is, yes, it is. So when he joins us in 10 minutes, it will be live. So definitely you'll be hearing a live conversation between us two, so if you have any questions that you wanted me to ask him, I will definitely post them at him. So we already have a caller on the line waiting to come through. We also have the chat room open, which people are right now starting to enter. So you did want to call on the line. We're going to try to get a caller here in the show, hopefully this one, within our 10 minutes band that we have with him. 6-4-6-5-9-5-4-2-2-8, I'm going to get this caller's name and we'll definitely try to pick him up when Sean gets on the line. Hi, caller, 7-2-7 area code. What's your name? Where are you calling from? You may go and I'm calling from Commodore, Florida. Florida. Okay. Nice to meet you. Like I stated, Sean will be on the line in about 10 minutes, and we'll definitely pick you up when he comes on. How's that? Yeah, I'll like that, thanks. Thanks. All right. So there it is right there, and also, like I said, if you have any questions that you want me to ask him in the chat room, please post them right there in the chat room. Also coming up on Tuesday, April 20th, Dr. Rob H. from NBC's The Biggest Loser will be joining us. He'll be joining us at 10.40 a.m. on Tuesday. So we'll start our show off at 10.30. I have a 10 minutes of discussion, and then at 10.40, Dr. Rob H will be joining us. We're going to be talking about actually the Health Score Report. We're going to be talking about that in the show. So it's going to be quite an interesting show. So, you know, especially those that wants to change their eating habits or they want to, you know, batter their health, this is definitely a show for them. So I encourage all you Biggest Loser fans as well as health care nuts like myself who wants to take a listen into this. Please tune into our show on Tuesday at 10.30, so make sure you guys tune into that. What I actually wanted to also point out as well, I actually had talked to a couple of people out this yesterday because I'm already now early in the game. I booked my reservation for Subcruise 2011, which will take place from January 27th to 31st of next year, and if you guys want to book your cruise for this, when the first 175 people to register will be part of the VIP breakfast. So make sure you guys, if you want to attend this event, go visit www.soacrew.com. It's going to be a great time. I've been to everything with one of them except this past year's economy. Money was a bit tight. So I had the missile on it, but I will be back next year. So it's definitely a fun field event. We got the roster of who's supposed to be attending it already. It's Christian Blonk, Nadia Bjornland, Brandon Beemer, Galen Garing, Eric Mark Solv, Dominic Vampragno, Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barrosh, Michelle Stafford, Don Dean Monde will also be in attendance for this as well. It's just a bunch of you. Sixteen of your favorite sub-stars will be attending this event. So if I encourage you guys, if you want to attend this event, don't hesitate. Go ahead and register. Go to www.soacrew.com and register today and tell you it's a great time. So definitely check it out in your regard. Also yesterday, listening to the radio, listening to the radio, and I actually was hearing about Kitty Kelly's new book, the tell-all book about Oprah. I mean, seriously, some of that stuff that's said in there is a little bit too suspicious. I mean, honestly, I don't really believe a lot of the stuff in there, but I take a lot of stuff that people write and tell all books with a grain of salt, so I really don't know how you feel about it. I will agree with maybe how her mother would have to go through an assistance just to want to talk to her because Oprah doesn't have her mother's phone number and vice versa. I think that's true considering that the mother was not very good to her, so maybe that part was true, but as far as everything else was, I don't know, but who knows. Is this just going to garner more publicity for Oprah as is anyway, so really, is it hurting her at all, is it seriously hurting her at all that this tell-all book is going to come out? No, not really. All it's going to do is create more publicity for her, and all publicity is good publicity no matter how bad. That's pretty much where it rolls, so that's all it's pretty much going to be. Everybody, if you are guests in the chat room but you want to type in the chat room, you need to register at www.blogtalkradio.com, register a screen name, that way you'll be able to participate in the chat room instead of just having to listen because if you are a guest, you will not be able to type in the room. I'm just saying that just in case any of you guys did have questions for Sean Christian that you want to be at, and you want to type them out into the chat room, you got to register at www.blogtalkradio.com, register a screen name, so I'll be definitely able to read your chat questions on air. So definitely tune in for that. Also, if you want to listen to any of our past shows, you can visit our website at buzzworthyradio.net or you can check out our archives here at www.blogtalkradio.com/buzzworthyradio. All of our shows are archived, so if you do happen to miss any of the shows live, you can always download the shows after they have aired. It takes about half an hour before they're ready to be downloaded by the public. So about half an hour after the show, and then you'll be able to download the show. Listen to it as many times as you want. Don't delete them. They're all there for your pleasure, okay? So definitely check that out. We have wonderful past shows that I think you guys should check out. We had on James Scott, we had on Gail and Garing, we had on the Suzanne Rogers in the show. Also other Substar, some other other soaps as well. Chris Benard has been on the program, definitely should check that one out. Great interview, great guy, Chris Harrison, host of The Bachelor of the Bachelorette. The list goes on. The list goes on, is that something's not worth for it? Go right in there, I kind of... Definitely, definitely check it out. Hi Gene, how are you? Yes, thank you very much. You just told some of Sean's friends about this, I hope they see the tweet. I do believe they do know about it. So I definitely, before I forget because I was just about to, let me give you some updates on some of the day's events that are coming out in June. Erica actually just sent me the press release for the Dallas event and the LA event. So the Dallas event, I believe, is this weekend. So if I'm not mistaken, I believe it is this weekend. So I definitely told her I wanted to promote it in this show since this was my next show. Before Sean comes along, I wanted to definitely put this out there into the load, which is not loading at the moment. Sorry, I got distracted by a tweet that I should read on air, but probably not going to. All right, 14 days of life's action to appear at the Terry event to benefit the leukemia and lymphoma society. Those actors include Allison Sweeney, Nadia Bjornen, Molly Burnett, Sean Christian, K.C. To make sure you check that out, that's on June the 5th, again, at 7 p.m. I believe this is our guest right now, let's see if it is Sean Christian, are you on the line? How are you? I am on the line. I am here at the NBC studios on the line. What's going on, man? Good morning. How are you? I'm doing good. I'm, you know, a little early morning. I came here to the studio because I got, after this, I'll go back to work on days of our lives. So, you know, it's going to be one of these fun-filled adventure days, much like Secrets of the Mountain. Yeah, yeah, we definitely got to talk about this, this, this movie as well, but I do have to ask, so what's going on with Dr. Daniel Jonas in Salem right now? What isn't going on? I'm being tormented. What isn't going on? That's a better question. What trouble am I not into? I'm always in trouble. Oh, my God. You know, I just found out I got a loved child and now I got a deal with that. I'm supposed to be getting married and then I don't know if she's having a hard time dealing with the kid. And then there's some woman who's trying to kill us all. This is happening in my life right now. It's fantastic. I've got to tell you what, they've done, so you've missed so much fun stuff to do. It's a different change of pace than Mike Kasnoff. Look, I grew up, I grew up a lot in my life, but as well as my favorite show, dude, I'm telling you right off the bat and I've been watching it since '90 and I love that Mike Carly Rosanna whole thing. Dang. Thank you. I, yeah, I just, I was just texting more West yesterday. We've been playing text tag, so we were texting each other, so, yeah, thank you. I love, that was a great story to play, it was a fun character. Absolutely it was. Wow. You still keep in touch with more West. It was amazing. I love it. I love it. Yeah. Yeah, she's a talented, talented girl. Wonderful. Oh man, I miss her. I miss her so much. I haven't, I haven't talked to her in so long. Yeah. She's a smart girl. She's a smart girl. Yes. She is. Talent. And Secret of the Mountain, let's, let's, let's tell people about this, that don't know about this. What is the movie about and who are you playing in this, in this movie? Well, Secret of the Mountain, I'm playing Tom Kent, a single guy who left New York City to live in this little small mountain town, and he gives the paperwork to this single woman, played by the wonderful Paige Turco, who has, brings her kids into this small town, and she inherits this mountain, and they're initially reluctant to sort of take it over, but then as they discover some secrets, if you will, because her uncle, who she thought was, it, it died, appears, and she's like, what and where did you come from? So her kid just swept up into this beautiful, excuse me, this crazy adventure. So that's essentially the premise of the movie. So what you got now is this heightened family drama or adventure, I should say, where, you know, you still got these wonderful little family moments where the kids are arguing about who's going to sit in the front seat, and then you've got them going into these wonderful deep, mysterious caves with temples and water tunnels, and it's got something for everybody, because there's like a little tenure of girl who's this little wide-eyed, wonder child, and then you got the, you know, the cool teens who fight like cats and dogs, and then you've got these two single adults who sort of become the support system for each other and a budding friendship and potentially a romance, we'll see, you know, and you got the mad, wonderful history uncle who's like this crazy history teacher, he seems like, who gets everybody swept away in this adventure. Nice. And uncle Henry is played by Barry Bostley, great guy. I love him. He's fantastic. He's so funny. He's such a card. And he does a great job with the role, because you watch him do his scene, and you're, you become enraptured in the stories that he's telling, and you're like, that's the idea. That's the movie. You're like, oh my goodness, you get the audience, you get the family. You're sitting all around. You got a great little adventure going on, a great wonderful story. And then you are just drawn in, and next thing you know, you're, you know, you're in the temple yourself. Absolutely. I can't wait to watch this, but it actually airs tomorrow, actually. It airs tomorrow. Tomorrow NBC. Yeah. Our NBC, 8 p.m. You got to watch it. And I just, I just got this really, really funny comment right now that the comments are like swirling in when you got on the line saying that this interview that I'm doing, I should have it on WebDAM with you having a video on you, and you be shirtless, if you know it right now. No, I am shirtless. I'm like, wait a minute. You don't want to see me shirtless? What's this about? Come on. I'm at work here. I'm at Days of our Lives. I do everything shirtless. I perform surgery shirtless. You know, I do my interview shirtless. There is no, why? There's no point in wearing clothes when I come to work here. Oh, wow, ladies. He's not wearing clothes. I don't know what you were calling who that was, but I don't think I've had a shirt on since my cast. To be honest with you, it's great, Sean. Can you do friends and you'll be Jennifer's kind of college, but you're doing a shirtless. I'm like, what? Exactly, right? I'm not going to record it now. No. I don't think I would get into the business then if that is a prerequisite, the role would go to somebody else. That is bad, but I did promise I get this color in here from Larda. I brought you back on the line. So, Laurie, you're on the line? Yeah, hi. How you doing? I'm great. I don't know if you remember me. I'm Italian fan 87 off at Twitter. You're which one? Oh. Italian fan 87 off at Twitter? Yes. This is so fantastic. I'm going to Dallas this weekend for a charity event. I know that. And I can't go and I used to live there and I can't make it, but yeah, like get your butt there. Get on a plane. And this is what's going to happen, I think, you know, because this is a day's charity event and we do these, you know, we travel and I'm doing one in Dallas and then we've got another one here in LA in June 5th and, you know, because I tweet, right? And I think all these people are going to introduce themselves, and they should, by the way, as their Twitter name, because that's kind of how I've related to people now for better or worse. I'm like, yeah, oh my goodness, yes. That's who you are. And my goodness. Yeah, go ahead. The tweet you sent in, lady. You need to behave. No, you don't need to behave. I'm kidding. Well, the question I have for you is, you know, you've done movies and now you're doing soap. I mean, which, like, how, which one do you like doing best, soap or movies? What do I like? I'm greedy. I want to do it all. I do. I mean, because I'm drawn to characters. I think the beauty of a soap is mentally, I am working. I mean, my brain, I kind of give you a little bit of what this story is that's going on for Dr. Jonas. And I'm like, you know, you don't get to go there quite often in a movie, maybe in the third act, you know, where there's like this heightened climax, you get to go to these crazy places. Whereas on the soap, you're down there every day. I'm going to need lobotomy when I'm done with this. But I also want to, that adventure, like, we did "Siggers of the Mountain" in Montreal. And so we're filming on location and we're up in the mountains and, I mean, we're doing like a serious movie here. So for me, I want it all and I'll continue to do it all. I did a movie with Chris Pine before days of our lives, you know, which I think is coming out on Amazon pretty soon, looking a month or something called "Smalltown Saturday Night." You know, we did that up in the mountains. So, you know, it is. I like the adventure, so I don't want to just be locked into one thing. Now, are you, do you think you'll ever come here for a planned event? Yes. You invite, I'll tell you what, you give me a reason to travel. I'll do it. That's part of my adventure as well. I do. When you come to downtown, I'm like, you give me an invite. I'm there. When you come to Australia, I'm like, give me an invitation. I'm on my way. I mean, is this how this whole Dallas thing came up? And there's another thing in Boston coming, so everyone's like, "When are you going to Boston?" And I think I'm going to be in Greenville, South Carolina, coming up and I'm like, "If you make it happen, I will find a way to get there." And you know, whether it's at a mall or a store opening or whatever, I'm like, "Look at me. I'm just pimping myself out right now." Not that you're supposed to do, because I'm supposed to. All right, I do this on the phone, being a pimp. That's fantastic. Love it. I've had so many roles. Oh, that's me. That is me. Well, thank you for taking my call. Well, thank you. Send me a sweet tweet. I've got hundreds of them that I'm certainly have to get to. That's the problem. Sometimes I'm at work, I'm on Twittering, I'm like, "No, work. You're working. Go to work." Okay, yeah. I'll definitely send you a tweet out. Yeah, that's very, thank you very much. I'll read. And have time to balance this weekend. Yes. Get there. You can't get there. Get to South Carolina. If you can't get there, come to L.A. June 5th. You can't get there. Go to Boston. I will try. We'll somehow get me to you. I don't know. Okay. Take care. Are you blushing? All right, look, I'm going to the L.A. event. If I see you shirtless, I will have to record it because that's pretty much what they're going to expect for me to do. There you go. It ends up happening when, invariably, you'll go, I think in Dallas, I'm sure, as you get to the, you know, they're like, you auction something off or shirt or whatever. I'm like, dude, auctioned shirtless, and you know, you can, for me, maybe get a buck or two more. I'll pay 50 cents to see you shirtless. I'm like, great. But yeah, I try to, I try to like, you know, be careful, don't be, you, you don't want to gross people out. I'm like, okay, Sean, not everybody is that interested. Trust me. No, no, no, but we got to get you back here for a longer visit, everybody. Love it. So, I'm Christian, thinking of the mountain airs tomorrow at 8 p.m. on NBC, watch them weekdays on NBC on days of our lives week, nights on soap net. Thanks very much, man. Cool. Thank you, Lee. Boy, you had my own resume down there. Appreciate it. Thank you. Absolutely. Take care, man. You got it, buddy. Take care. Be good. All right. If you're not following him on Twitter, follow him on Twitter, Sean C for real. Sean, F-H-A-W-N, the letter C, the number four, real, follow him on Twitter. And like I said, we'll get him back for a longer visit for all you guys. Definitely. It was too quick. It was too quick, but it was too quick. We've got to get him back for a longer visit, and we're going to make it happen. Absolutely. We're going to make it happen. But we're going to be back on Tuesday with Dr. Rob H. from the biggest loser. Oh, you have nuts. We're going to talk about the health score, and if you guys want to better your health, or if you are health freak like I am, this is the show for you Tuesday, 10.30 a.m., Eastern 7.30 a.m. Pacific time here on Volta Radio.com for Buzzworthy Radio.
