BAD GIRLS CLUB's KENDRA!

A boy crazy, rule breaking opposite of her perfect and obedient twin sister, Kendra is also a pretty pageant girl pursuing a degree in political science.

Season four brings seven new self-proclaimed “bad girls” together in a beautiful mansion in Los Angeles. These women recognize that their outrageous behavior has hindered their relationships, careers and lives. They have issues with anger, trust and control. In a house full of women with similarly explosive personalities, clashes erupt between roommates and housemates over everything from who’s on cleaning duty to where they should go out at night. Will these bad girls, faced with the mirrored image of their own behavior, learn to moderate and control their bad girl energy or will they spin out of control and flee this opportunity for change? It is 10th at 8am eastern here, at Glassoff Radio.com. We are joined by Kendra from the Bad Girls Club on Oxygen. Hi, how are you doing? I'm good. How are you? I'm great. Thanks for having me. Absolutely. Thanks for stopping by. Now, I got to start off by asking this question because, you know, we see a lot of reality shows on the television screen. And for me, personally, I think some of a lot of that stuff. And this is probably my naive naive today. You're probably dropping in here. But how much of that stuff that happens on the Bad Girls Club is real and fake? Well, the crazy thing about Bad Girls Club is that it's actually a real reality. So a lot of things are not planned. Actually, all of things are not planned. We're recorded 24 hours a day. So what you see is the best of the 24-hour day and the best of the week. So mostly it's just how they edit it together because everything that happened really does happen. And it's just the finished product is what makes it really crazy. Okay. Yeah, because I was sitting there and going like, "Hey, really not that bad." I mean, seriously, you're in a household of women. All that. Okay, it's not the same, but it's not more personality like the rest of you guys. And by personality, I mean like you guys are pretty much up in each other's face. You're ready to throw down practically almost all the time. And that just seems to me like it's just like, "What the hell am I here?" I don't really believe, I asked myself that plenty of times. But the thing about it is that personality is like mine and my other roommates are used to being around people that are quiet in his name. Are used to being around people that kind of fade into the background. Are used to being people that compliment each other. None of us compliment each other in their house. We just go and bump heads. And that's where the TV element comes in because in reality, we're never supposed to meet. You know what I mean? We're never supposed to be together. And whenever they decide to put us together, it's always going to be the sparks. Always. That is true. Always. It always is when girls like that get involved with each other. It was amazing to come like, "You know, we should show. It can just be a fun time." And it's completely impossible with the chemistry of girls that they got in their house. Some of us never have dropped out. But you apparently have a twin that is completely the opposite of you. Yes. My sister is quiet. She doesn't really go out. She doesn't really drink that much. She's definitely into her studies. And yeah, she lives vicariously through me. And sometimes I live vicariously through her because I may be a little bit crazy. Maybe. I might just be. Just a little bit. Hmm-hmm. Exactly how did you get involved in this in that girl club? How were you put into this mix? Well, I actually went to open casting called For Real World. And I worked with a whole bunch of friends who had a really good time. And I was the one that was getting called back over and over and over again. And also, when my interview said, "Would you want to be on the bad girl club?" I'm like, "No, they fight on that show. I don't want to go." They were like, "Oh, no, honey, you need to be on there." And then that was it. And you know, the interview I was in L.A. So it was crazy. But they had my story. And they were like, "You got too much fat to be on the real world, honey. You need to go right over to the bad girl club." You got too much fat to be on real world. I've never heard that before. This is the first I've heard of that. That's awesome. You're too bad to be on real world. You don't have to be on bad girls. That's just how it rolls. Right. Right. No, but more. I guess. Whatever. And I'm pretty sure that you had many throw downs with a lot of the rest of the girls on there. I'm sure of it. Hello. It's not called "bad girl club" or nothing. That's pretty much the point. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. Was there anyone where it got to a point where you actually felt like you were about to pack your bags or you were about to get out? Did you hit that point where it happened with one of the other girls in the house? You know what? I think at one point or another, everybody said that. And everybody said that because it's an experience and it's an experiment all at the same time. And sometimes you want to experiment to be over and you just want to go to your regular life. But it's all about looking to figure out who can't. You know what I mean? And it's definitely a trying time. Definitely a trying time. And it's not fake. I just want everybody to know that. It's not fake. The things that we say, the things that we do, and the things that make us mad and angry really do do that. And everybody will probably go crazy if you're stuck in a house with girls who don't like. No, absolutely. And basically, is that what gives you the strength to keep on going and staying in the house? Like you said, it is an experiment. Yeah. And it's basically, you know, it's teaching you a little thumbs up. Yeah. And it's causing you to stay in the house even more because, you know, if I get out now and that's basically, I'm just showing to everybody that's watching, not just the girls that are in the house, but everybody that's watching the show that I can stand up for myself and I can feel, even if we're throwing down, even if we're getting into the argument, whatever, whatever the hell it is, I'm still here. And I'm just going to go ahead and do my thing. That's pretty much right. Right. And you know, people are like, you know, they want to criticize every small thing you do. And that's fine because it's TV and that's what we're there for. But at the end of the day, even if you don't like somebody, you got to respect the trick because I don't know too many people that put themselves in situations like we did. You know what I mean? We signed up for the, you know, most stressful, funnest, drunkest, partying, worst time ever in our lives. So it's definitely interesting to watch. Nice. So did you go into this with any expectations? Did you think you were probably going to like any of the girls in the house or did you just not go in there with any expectations at all? You just went to the house and just did your thing right off the path? I didn't go with any expectations at all. I knew who I was. I know what makes me the person that I am. And I know what's up, I'll stand up for all what's up that I want. And that was all that I had to put that house. I mean, I'm coming from Australia North Carolina all the way to LA. Like, and I was just going on Kendra. And that was it. And it's really crazy when you can't prepare for what you're in for. But, you know, if you could make it through then it speaks volumes, I think. Absolutely. Absolutely. And in spite of having the bad girl image, I hear that you are pursuing a degree in political science. Yes, I'm pre-law, actually. You really are. So if it's not one of our law school. And that's an interesting dynamic to me that, you know, people really haven't been on the show, but I think school very, very seriously. And the thing that kind of makes me a bad girl is that I have two different sides. I'm very, you know, into my education, into business and into making sure that I get what I need to get done. But I also party hard. I also want to have a good time. I also do whatever I want when it comes to, you know, relationships and things like that. So that, you know, dynamic kind of makes me more relatable, I would say. Right. And makes more and more interesting time. Mm-hmm. Absolutely. And what, and this is probably going to be a funny question, but what advice can you give all the girls that watch rag girls club? And they see you guys acting like that on TV. Mm-hmm. And at the end of the day, what advice can you give girls out there that it's not selling in your footsteps or any of the rest? And mainly in yours, what advice can you give? Because, you know, even though you have that image, you're also doing something good. You're in pre-law and everything, everything like that. What can you say though? What I want to tell the girls is that every girl has a bad side, and there's a time and a place for it. I signed up for the perfect time and the place to be a bad girl. I moved her away, I lived in a mansion, didn't have a job, and was getting taken out for free every day. So that's the perfect time and a place to be a bad girl. Now, when you're at home and you have this is fake care, you need to take care of that business. You know what I mean? So, I kind of feel like you can't judge me because I was in the right place at the right time to do what I was doing. And you always got to remember that. You always got to make sure that you have everything in order before you hit up the bad girl side. I got you. All right, so you definitely should use your bad girl side just not all the time. It's basically what it is, right? Get what you need to get done first, and bad girl will be easy for you. Don't not do things with you to get done. You see what I'm saying? No smart girl, you've got to be a smart girl. A bad girl doesn't mean a dumb girl. I like that philosophy. Thank you. Very, very much. Thank you so much for stopping over here. I can't believe 10 minutes has already gone near. I know. I know it's awesome for you. Thanks for having me. I loved it. Thanks for stopping by. Anytime you welcome back, I'll absolutely door open.
