to her if you haven't already met her the last time she was on lease the list is to replace Olivia on adc day times a general hospital many fans also remember her from loving and the city as well as one life to live how are you hi can you hear me i can i can awesome it's kind of like magic the way these things work it's very crazy that i'm standing in my bedroom talking to you on the radio welcome back it's nice to have you back thank you very much thank you very much that was fun the last time it cut short and the last it was good it was good times and hopefully we won't experience that issue that we had the last time on this one right never again never across not we're crossing our fingers across our fingers i want i want to ask this first and foremost okay before we get into the nitty-gritty i had to ask this yes James Franco i got asked what's it like working homeboy um with him being on the set no let's see i mean he's i he it was uh there was like a flurry of excitement on all the days that he was there uh i think i probably can't say whether or not i worked with him because that would give away potentially plot point things uh that little bit uh i can it was there it was always exciting when he was when he was there i um you know he's he's got he's got his people following him around um doing they're doing some sort of outside project of some sort that will involve the time that he spent on our show um nice seems like a nice group of people guys a hard worker i he he that guy had dialogue on each day like you cannot imagine and wow do my knowledge to my knowledge he was not going up on his lines or anything so so he um you know that's that's pretty amazing in and of itself to come into this medium cold and to be able to to to take on that much uh quantity of work and not freak out it's pretty great oh love it i love it and you know there were rumors um floating around on the internet saying that you guys were flipped something underneath your dressing room door saying that you were not to have any contact with the guy is that true or is that false because i heard that false that is that is completely false okay completely false there was nothing flipped under anyone's door that said not to contact anyone or anything like that um in fact i remember there there was an email that went out that said this is your home and anyone that wants to because a lot of people that i mean there the days uh the first day that he was there uh working i flipped into my dressing room and because we can watch the feed from the floor from our if you have a television in your room um so i just watched to see what was going on watched some of the stuff with him and maxi and stuff being shot just because i was interested to see what they were going to do um and it was spicy but everyone already knows that because that aired um so so so that stuff i watched them doing it just to see you you know so how they were paneling in and everyone was you know of course excited for him to come and be part of the family and everything so it was great it's it's it's amazing to hear that he was just able to come in there and just basically with uh you know no whole bar he just came in and he just did it you know oh yeah it's just amazing to hear because you you know this is a difficult this is a difficult medium well people yeah people don't even quite i it is it is interesting because people that come new on the show too and you know when it's the first day and they've even you know a lot of people that have worked outside the medium uh done a lot of work they think that it's i don't know i like i think a lot of people think that it's that it's easy to do or that there's less expected of you because we work so quickly or something and it's it is sometimes interesting to see the look change on the people's faces as they're like and they're looking at you they're like wait a minute did we did we just do that is that it's not all we got wait a minute and you go and you go because you know i mean this this is this is good you know this is sort of like a recurring theme in what i say but but but people have to if you're going to be a soap watcher and a soap lover you have to embrace part of what the medium is is that it's it's it's slightly more raw you have to love the same way you know people talk about it being like theater it's not really like theater because you rehearse the crap out of theater before it goes on stage oh yeah this is like a new play every day but there's a raw quality to it that you're not going to get watching you know something great like an ang Lee film or something it's a different that's a just a different art form and you have to embrace some of the the rawness of what daytime is to to really be if i think to really be a fan it's a it's a different thing every every single second hasn't been run through you know you know an edited performance where you got to do every single minute 12 different times and they picked them the one moment that was the best and all the 12 takes it's like pick the best actor in the world and say you know did daniel de lewis ever do a bad take well that would be on the air yeah you know if if that one didn't really I mean sometimes sometimes you know you have to go back if it's not what they wanted but for the most part little things that you get to micromanage when you're working multi-camera or when you're making something that's you know 10 episodes in a year we're making what 50 something 50 something weeks five shows a week two hundred and something hours a tv I mean it's like but you have to sort of love what that is and embrace it for what it is but anyway I just went rambling sorry oh no that was perfect i like it you know it's just it's just more insight to behind the scenes stuff that goes on and you know for those that don't know and you know it's just like now especially it's gotten a lot tougher than before you could have more takes within the scene but now it just seems like more and more yeah what you do is you there's no dress rehearsal really anymore you just go in you block you do your scene that's it you have no time to do any retakes and least tape anymore unless something really you know i obviously if someone goes up on the line which which happens to all of us from time to time you just you're in the middle of and you're like wait a minute what the hell was i supposed to say next it happens to everybody but you know sort of that they're not they're not going to go back if you know someone pears hanging in their face or that i mean even little technical things like that or or you know i i love it on the shows when you see someone sort of i have half misspeak like people do in real life do you know what i mean i say say a word or miss you know miss the word of the way that i'm doing right now but but you know i i i love that sort of natural quality that that a lot of times you get in soap and then you know you see us walk across the set and you know in this particular spot on the set your lighting looks really good and then you turn your head to the side and you're like oh god yeah there's a my eye bags in the skin blemish too hooray you know or you know whatever it is but it's like you know that's life too that is life too before we get before we get to the colors i want to i also want to mention this uh we're gonna we're gonna get to call it as soon as possible because they're blowing it out of the woodwork there's a lot i think there's a lot more people here that are showing up now than it was the last time because of that accident so i think we might have some new some new blood in this but um what i want to ask is that you did you and brandon do see in an interview today for a habit after humanity house we did that on a yesterday we taped it yesterday and it's going to start airing on monday i'm sorry for anyone who was reading my tweets i thought we were doing it live and that it was going to be on at that moment and that was the only time to be able to see it i was incorrect about that we taped it yesterday and it is going to start airing i believe on monday over the course of the week and we're trying to get more people to make donations um to that site for this general hospital um house that all of us are going to be building on uh december 12th a bunch of fans who have bid on various actors to come and build with us and we're going to have a great time and we're going to build a house for some family that really needs it it's such a great charity great organization brandon and i we're working with the woman who's liaison for hollywood habitat for humanity and we just have the best cast that you know so many people wanted to jump in and work and help and do it and and then also to weird other requests people that were coming in we're like we'll pay blah blah blah amount of dollars to have dinner with brandon and lisa for the house and stuff we're like dude we're in absolutely anything that'll get that'll get money and we do we do need um anyone who wants to be a part of it you can put your messages on the boards inside the walls people that love the show or people who have you know had people who love the show and their family it makes a great christmas gift if you want to do a christmas gift that gives twice give them you know the gift of their message on the interior walls of the house and gives to the house as well it's it's just a great makes a great gift it's a great cost too absolutely and i have to agree with what someone's in the chat room this is from die so stars are the best because it's beginning that wholeheartedly agree yes i haven't seen any any other type of genre that gives back the way daytime stars do so this is absolutely great wonderful time for this to be done to around the holidays that's the best that's the best time to have it done yes yeah we agree but enough for my voice i think they're tired hearing me talk i i i think they want to get i think they want to get in and talk to you so i'm going to show up i'm going to i'm going to big fan of yours uh you're thank you you're all you're really awesome actress and i respect your work a lot you're definitely one of my favorite actresses thank you so much you're welcome oh um i was wondering like for future story for Olivia like what would you like to see happen like wow i mean if she just makes it out of this whole mess that she's in i mean that the writers have have impressed upon me for some time like she is really we're going to put this character between such a rock and a hard place that it's like she's up against it in so many ways between the sunny and the dante between sunny and johnny between i mean there's there's there's no easy solution to any of this that and and i think her tactic changes over time which i think it sort of would in real life too when there's there is no good option so i mean like today to jack she's starting to say i have to tell him the truth and and and if the if the bad thing that happens is that sunny and dante hate my guts for the rest of my life i'll have to deal with that because they're at least going to be alive so her next her next step is is that she feels that she has to tell them the truth now how that unfolds or what happens with that i can't tell you but wow i i would like to see it i mean you know as an actor as much conflict as possible is it's it's it's the best thing it's the best thing to play i mean that the truth of the matter is i do not know how it's going to turn out so i can't i i can't even give you any spoilers if i wanted to because i i honestly don't know exactly how they're going to how they're going to figure this dilemma out for this character yeah i mean it's it's fun walking you know we with um arese and brandon do you guys you have great chemistry both of them so oh great great i'm always interested to hear who who what people i mean because it's it's hard because the chemistry with johnny and alivia can be for the most part i mean other than quite recently you know easy easy and fun they can play we're both on the same page here whereas right the chemistry with marisa from alivia's point of view with sunny there's always a great big like i cannot do this so they're there really have been very few scenes between alivia and sunny where alivia is actually able to to be fully present and i want to be doing this she's got a humongous you know wall of the keep away because of a million different reasons that that's really going on so there's a big wall between her and sunny despite her lifelong sort of love for him right yeah definitely so i i would i would be interested to see what what happens if you know if there ever comes a time when alivia could you know be have have scenes with sunny without that bear without all the secrets between them and out all the you know trouble between them that would be interesting dynamic that would be interesting yeah well definitely well thanks a lot for answering my questions i appreciate all my pleasure thank you oh hi Jojez hi Lisa how are you and i'm well how are you doing good so nice to finally talk to you for the longest time i just want to say that you are amazing amazing actress amazing person with an amazing heart i enjoy every note that you send me i know cool now and every time i get a postcard in the mail from you and it was your little note on it it makes my day because school is stressing me the hell out i hear that i still have nightmares sometimes that it's a school night i'll just i'll just put that out there sometimes and i wake up like in a movie sweat panic like like no i know it's not a school day six classes right now so well bless you with that non-stop that and i work and i do other things so like i don't ever sleep i sleep like two hours of the night if i'm lucky so oh you can do it yeah you got to take care of yourself take a take a deep breath i know i got really sick like three weeks ago and i was sick for like a week and a half but because of lack of sleep but not to do anything else yeah i like to think that i am sleep is the thing but we think the thing that you can't skrimp on even when you're really busy or else the whole shooting match goes down the tube you know uh uh sleep is overrated i disagree i disagree is this is this where you come in georgette and say um you sleep when you die is that is this what we're gonna be like that's weird that's what i just said you didn't hear right you said that no i've got to sleep i've got to sleep i'm a i'm a strong supporter of the like 10 to 15 minute nap in the day if you can take it not longer than that or else you get into you know too much deep sleep but are you ready to hear okay here's i think about nap there's no way in the hell that i can take a nap because naps turn into like eight hour nap that's what i'm saying you can't do that you got to set an alarm for 10 minutes 15 minutes maybe five to fall asleep 10 to sleep then wake up and then you're like you're good i don't mean anything to me alarms are like not in my life i can't i'm almost 25 years old and if i have to wake up like for school i'm used to it because i wake up and i barely don't sleep i literally sleep like an hour sometimes i don't sleep at all so i'm up anyways but in order for me to like wake up wake up which is sad to say my mom has to literally like knock on the door or like bang something at the door because most of the time my door is shut because they're so loud in the morning if i happen to sleep in which hasn't happened in months and then like my mom literally has to come upstairs be like wake up wake up because i don't wake up someone needs to get georgette a better alarm clock a really super loud one with flashing lights like a like a fire alarm my dad did that's the thing and like i don't use it i like don't well i think i guess i should start believing in one half sure i'm the best in one i use use a lot of alarm clocks ten minute nap whatever i that's my advice i don't know but hand hanging there i know school is tough but it you know do your best i just try to get my iphone my alarm on my iphone that's what i use i thought if i like started seeing like some adam lamber someone else it would work yeah no i'm like oh this is stupid let me come back to bed no it doesn't work oh i love the fact that you love him because i love him even more he's amazing i love i mean i didn't i didn't even see the whole like whatever it wasn't everyone's got so hyper i know it's not said did you see that yeah i didn't i wasn't home i didn't see it so i don't even know what what the hullabaloo is all about myself but whatever people are just you know homophobes with pisses me off and then the other thing is they're just not used to seeing something different something that no one else would dare to do and i think it's stupid that abc banned him i understand the whole situation the fcc and all that nonsense but like i don't think that they should have banned him from everything because every show that he's supposed to be on they said uh no you can't you're done you're supposed to be on um good morning america they told him no right but beyond other shows like camelizing he's on abc they said no they canceled him do you know what cbs is being the smart one right then they picked him up he was on letter man he's on ellen you should watch the ellen interview if you like ellen degenerate this is really good i mean i run it she and i were on an episode of joey together were you really little piece of trivia yes episode joey in the sex tape starting lee sala sisrow and ellen degenerate that was a long time ago you heard it like talked to her uh i did not no we did not share scenes together we were in different scenes singing next thing yeah yeah oh she's cool lady she's very funny yeah yeah yeah for sure but anyways i just wanted to say thank you thank you thanks for calling in honey it's very welcome um i'm sending something to you this to the studio soon so look out for it and um you have a great holiday you do and hopefully one day you need to come to florida i bring mr barrage with you and we keep trying to figure something out really florida you'd east coast thing with tyler and dominic in april but it wasn't so much it's not been planned for this for the south so maybe brandon and i could do a south thing that would be awesome because there are a lot of people who live in florida who like to see people do so like i can't travel like i used to because i'm doing a million things work and i'm in school so i can't go anywhere so well we'll play action with sunny olivia uh well i'm trying to remember which one because it definitely was the the chili kiss was pretty tame the kiss over the chili pots i thought was very sweet it it was almost reminded me of like two kids like their first kiss under the bleachers at kony island or whatever um but but i'm trying to remember the kiss they must be meeting the one in my apartment the first time the kiss in the kitchen the kiss in the kitchen there was that that was not a tonguey kiss i don't think which which and i know it's not embracing like i have no problems discuss i mean to really kiss someone i i would dare anyone at home to try kissing their partner really kissing them without your tongue being involved it's almost impossible to do it's almost impossible when i hear actors go like oh my god like their tongue was with it it's like what if you're i mean if you're kissing some but i mean i don't mean you've different people shove the tongue down each other's throat doing love scenes or whatever but i mean it's like the idea that you're going to be able to really kiss someone with your tongue rolled up into the back of your mouth it just doesn't happen you can't do it no we've got such a kick out of people we're all like i hate the way that johnny and Olivia make sounds when they kiss and we were having such a laugh about it that we were like okay we're going to kiss without making oh my how can you not make a sound when you it's impossible we tried we tried and and we laughed so hard that we honey on uh he's dumpsters in his office um we were i can't have this conversation in front of my son um but we we were laughing so hard that that they've eventually you know the director was just like okay stop trying to kiss without making sounds we're we got a we got to move on and so yeah that's as bad as when you just tweeted today you wore these shoes that they shoot that area they were just kind of like they're like flat black noises they were these boots they're these boots and every time i wear them i get a bunch of treats i'm like where did you get those boots they're actually boots that i bought for myself and they're so high so uncomfortable and so squeaky and but they're super hot they're really they were really really really expensive and they're super hot but they're too high and squeaky so i brought them in and i'm just like dude if you guys want to put these on my rack they're way more Olivia than they are me anyway so these gray beautiful gray leather costume national boots and that scene that aired i guess it was yesterday and it was that sort of music montage and i'm sort of like slowly take taking steps across like that where the tool bench kind of thing is and it's supposed to be in words like looking into each other's eyes and every step i took it one like and like the first two we were like cool we're like we're totally professionals we can make this work we're not going to laugh then it just came and then i look look in his eyes and we're looking in each other's eyes looking and then he's just like and we just felt and it was a shame because otherwise it was like a really good take and we had it and then it's really hard to then to get back in to it you know five four three two one and you got to just pretend that you didn't just you know make parts sounds like mark noises yeah but we do we do we do have but that that kind of antics does not fit into the fast pace of soap operas today so you know farty sounding boots is not not good i have a feeling those will not be uh on my rack much longer those might might be revisiting my real life and not my soap opera life i think so i think so and last time they all were statements about that stuff i think that delivery of shower scene they're still saying it they're going ahead and saying that uh you two should have a shower scene oh i was going to say where's the shower i've never done a shower scene we've been for sure so uh my goodness um i don't know what to say to that i think we may Brandon i still make so much fun of the purple underwear scene uh that that yeah i guess the shower scene would only be that much more um you know enough for us to make fun of we were we were we were uh we were watching the with the Franco stuff with matching the blindfold i was like dude Franco is stealing my material with the red blindfold not cool man like we were like uh uh we i mean we were kidding obviously but you know the artist the artist known as Franco you know he's got no no kinkiness on uh johnny and Olivia that's all i'm saying johnny think Olivia so now it might be time for her to pay him back and sing to him too right i mean if i sing at least i hope it will be funny and not that i have to like sing some kind of like whip out some full-on ballad or something i i'm i'm a marginally acceptable singer it's not like i can't carry a tune but you know karaoke is nerve-wracking in my in my book i mean i guess at jakes you know people often ask this too we are not drinking real alcohol in those drinks so no you don't you don't actually get to you know get drunk on 16 shots at tequila before you get up and say macho man or whatever it was so so i don't know i said i you know like a duet with johnny i think with the storyline is right now i cannot really imagine Olivia doing anything particularly fun loving and silly at this moment but you know maybe down the road when everyone's like friends again she could uh yeah she could kick kick up her heels and do some funny singing or something i'd like to speak to some karaoke oh that'd be fun k and Olivia together oh that would be fun yeah um do you think and uh jingle bell rock yeah yes Brandon and i were the only two i think no bradford did it too not very many people from our show but like being silly that day i think um the jingle bell rock thing yeah that was it was actually fun i mean we were we were tried to be as silly as possible you have a nice voice oh well yeah i mean i can i can i can carry a tune all right uh but getting up and really selling a song at jakes is different than you know carrying a tune so we'll see nobody knows what the writers have in mind that's true that's true my second question was um have you taped any uh the scenes where johnny finds out that that is any fun um that uh i i don't know when when anyone's going to find that out other than the people that have already figured it out like patrick and Kate and jax and who else it's hard it's a little bit hard to keep track even on the set of who knows what sometimes with all of this yeah so i can only imagine why olivia is always such a like a hand-wringing basket case it's i have to sort of remember that every day when i'm playing the scenes it's like she's constantly she's constantly in a position of like of tremendous stress in terms of what secrets is she keeping from who that's sort of why she gets to be comfortable when she's around john that's one of the things that i think people like about the dynamic between us it's one of the only times on screen that she can really and also with jack that she can really kind of be like you know what it is and unless jack is is you know they're having a fight about he's trying to wow whatever bring down sunny or i can't even ride i we i we have those scenes today where i'm telling him that i'm going to go tell sunny and dante so um why haven't watched it yet so well i hope i didn't wreck it well i've been reading all my tweets so i kind of know what happens got it got it got it got it there you go um i just feel like they've been dragging this out too long and it's like one more secret over the head of um celibia so right i kind of want them to like get it over with and then get that secret out closer i hear you i hear you right he kind of started like uh getting through to him with the kiss which was hot by the way oh sound effects all right then well i mean i i i i think they have it um they have their own science to how you know what the speed of things being revealed and all that kind of thing and um i i it's it's it's hard to to play the keeping of the secrets for a really long time but i think you know it's it's it's my job to to figure out why she isn't telling him because i because there's definitely a part of Olivia that wanted to tell johnnie the whole truth because he's being such a good guy i mean can you imagine really a guy putting up with you told me this lie you told me that lie and now you're gonna tell me that you really love me but you love this other dude too and he's like well you know what okay so he's like a really good guy i want to guy like johnnie who doesn't who doesn't believe me all the all i think it's coming out in this show about like that dong day and mackily wants a a guy like guy like dying and that Lisa does like dude if if i went downstairs into my husband's office right now i was like honey i love you i love you so much but you know what i'm actually in love with someone else too and you're just gonna have to deal with it i i can tell you pretty much that he wouldn't be like no what honey i love you so much and that's speculation it wasn't whatever i'm not even going to say it um i really don't i don't know i don't know what he would do i mean obviously he's he's either going to be very very angry or very very hurt or some combination of both you know i mean i think that that's part of the reason that the secret is going on is that alivia doesn't know sonny is really kind of a wild card it's like will he go berserk will he right just i mean because he certainly she saw him with her own eyes she saw him kill a dude and spit on his body so she knows that whatever kind of nice guy he used to be when they were teenagers there's also a flat out ruthless killer in there too when he's crossed she knows that she's seen it so there's no real way for her to say like oh you know i can just tell him the secret and it'll be all right she doesn't really know that he might it might be all right it might be the best but it really might not so um i i think that that that you've just asked the million dollar questions nobody really right yeah a lot of people it johnnie found out this secret when john is still being alivia or is he going to break up with alivia uh he's done if if if he finds out what that that that dante is sunny sun yeah well i think the thing that would hurt johnnie most uh would be that she that she kept that secret that she kept on keeping that secret i mean it was hard enough for him to swallow you know i had to keep the secret from you to keep him safe that he's a cop and that he's my son now that she further kept that it's sunny sun that's i i honestly i don't i'm not saying he could never forgive her but i mean it's certainly going to be a hard hole for alivia to dig herself out of for sure she's going to have a lot of holes to dig herself out of let's be honest you know but i i i don't know i don't know who can you know he seems so far he seems pretty forgiving but i guess everyone probably has their limits well that'd be anything of um alivia and kate coming up because i really really love alivia and kate and i did too i actually like a huge fan of make a war i really love for a lot and i love people saying of you know alivia and kate we keep hoping that they'll write us some stuff that's sort of fun and and and that can sort of go into their the camaraderie that they had that they can be allies and not always in conflict i mean that that that's something that we sort of we like to play that with one another um because we you know because it's it's an interesting dynamic between i mean there's all there's always going to be some version of whether it's conflict or rivalry whatever it is between them and that's that's how they've been their whole life but there's also a a great deal of love and respect that they both have for one another got it you got a youtube that that thing i loved that scene one of the scenes that he's ever done and i kind of i kind of see something like that happening with him it with that it may not be as wrong to you or that severe but it probably could go that route that's just that's just that's just my speculation on it yeah i mean not only that it's my son that you've kept for me all this life but but that that now that he's a cop that you've known and you've let me be in danger all this time is is adding to it um so that's a big it's kind of like wearing a wire times a thousand yeah you know what i mean um i do but he also i mean with the sun thing he sort of he gets why a woman why a parent would want their kids not in his orbit i think he kind of gets that but he also you know at a certain point your kid isn't he's not a baby anymore and you know he can take care of himself he's a grown man all that kind of thing it's it's she's she's got a lot of explaining to do there's no question about it but she she she has i but i will say for the most part she has she has pretty good reasons for all the things that she's doing she she doesn't alivia does not this is this is one of the things that the writers often are impressing upon me is that she does not lie for no reason she doesn't just lie because you know it's wednesday and the sky is blue she has and she you know she may be wrong about her lives but she doesn't do it lightly she doesn't take it lightly and she doesn't do it for reasons that are selfish for the most part um usually it's it's it's it's generally to protect dante they were you know obviously she kept a secret from carly for jack's sake and because she saw the the value in keeping carly from you know losing the baby and all that whole stuff i mean she she she takes her her secrets and her lives very seriously and not lightly exactly so exactly there is that yeah all right let's uh let's get to this next one is i'm believe this is illinois i'm not sure happened to the show in a really really long time thank you and you have no idea how happy julivia make everybody like we are so happy with them and um i've met so many great people and you guys are have a great chemistry we love you guys um we really hope that julivia make it through all of this stuff and we're just rooting for them and they're just really special to a lot of us um so my question is i spent some time coming up with my top 20 julivia scenes and it was really hard so i watched it yeah it was really hard but i was wondering what because i know you can't give away show information which is fine um what is your favorite julivia scene so far that we've done um to watch there was there was one day and i don't even i don't even remember what we were talking about but it was we were like laying on the floor on a blanket and you know it was it was one where everyone was teasing me because i was playing with brandon sess here and that was it was totally like i didn't even know that i was doing it until like i watch it like jesus i really what the hell am i doing but it was but but there was something about that day and some of the conversations there that i said and i actually like that that first that first scene that we were on the sofa and and and people and what was the thing like people used to say the only difference between you and a in a in a tramp is a belt buckle and a beer bottle or whatever it was and he laughed and she was like that's not funny or that that was a fun maybe because it was in the in the beginning there too definitely that's one of my favorites just the beginning stuff was excellent the stuff now is excellent you guys can do everything angst you know you can do hotness you can do everything and we just love you guys and i'm agent and asked if i was available um so that i mean that was very that what i mean was beyond flattering i was on the radar from a long time ago from testing for for Lois and the test that i did for Lois they cast Leslie K is Lois but then um they put me on one life to live as sonya because they really liked that test and um they wrote the wrote they actually wrote the role of sonya for me as well so okay so that was of course that whole storyline was not a tremendous success but um for for a number of reasons that just didn't didn't somehow work but but this um i and i and what what you know uh because i because i read for um the for kate the the kate role that was when i did my first sort of i did you know that Maurice yeah and from that day they knew they wanted to do something with me and Maurice but they didn't know what so they felt like Megan was done and unquestionably true she was definitely the the choice that day for for Kate and i do remember that day in the in the screen test they were asking me to do it again uh but but but let the let the Bentonhurst come through when she gets really angry they wanted me to do kate but then kate with them with the Bentonhurst side coming through um okay and so and that and that was where they were like well i think where they you know Bob still says like boy that we knew that day that there was there was something there that we were going to use we didn't know how we were going to use it but we were going to use it at some point so okay yeah i didn't know any of that i am i'm so out of the loop with a lot of things i not one that they could put on tell on daytime television i mean are you saying like yeah there's there's door lines that i would refuse to play that you could put on like a like a minimax movie but but but but on date anything i i can't really think of something that i mean i'm trying to think of things i mean like what i play that Olivia is like a racist or something i they wouldn't do that so i i i mean i would have trouble doing that i guess or that she was that i really wouldn't do they can't air things that are so sexual that you know they'd be offensive and would she kill someone would she uh that's a very good question i'm trying to think of the thing that they could put on daytime tv that i wouldn't do uh come up with something someone say say what what what could they put on d daytime tv that that that that's that i mean obviously i would have no problem with a with the gay storyline i would have no problem with uh i mean that would be an interesting avenue for for Olivia girlfriend or a wife up for much of my adult life it's like that that is part of that relationship is to take care of that person absolutely if you're not if that's not some i mean i don't mean we want to you know blow your nose and pick up your socks and wipe your butts for you men out there but i mean if you're not partly some some component of your relationship with your partner it doesn't have a maternal aspect to it i did this i think something off but that's just me that's some that's that's some part of it it is that'll well i wouldn't go as far as wanting you to wipe my butter anyway i mean i i like the mothering factor but no i'm saying that that's not what and i'm saying that i'm saying like not not like not mommy but maternal is different than you know than then mommy livia um being targeted by any mob violence do you see her i mean all of sunny's women seem to get shot at some point so do you see her um becoming a victim that way it's i mean it seems like it's hard to escape being the victim of mob violence in this town at some point or another especially when in the orbit that she's running in i mean i i it certainly wouldn't be surprising to me at all and and anthony zakara flat out flat out threatened me not just to my face but to sunny as well so that i mean that i i don't have any sort of intel on that like that it's going to happen but it certainly wouldn't be surprising for that because i mean as much as i um enjoy the various stories on demo hospital it would be nice to have a little bit more balance and so a livia is on an awful lot so it'd be kind of nice to maybe have her a combitose and have some people crying over her bedside well that was a few in mind having the guys crying over you yeah i've always thought that that would be that would be sort of uh fun to sort of get to not have to know any lines but just get to sort of not not have to put on a whole lot of makeup or get your hair done just get to put on your hospital gown and lay in bed and have people say nice things to you all day yeah that would be that would be a nice that would be a nice way to spend your week at work for sure absolutely well thank you very much some of the scenes that i've seen but you know jonnie and jolivia actually never had uh what's considered a full on love scene montage you know if you think about it they don't know like those ones those ones those montages that like take all up a whole segment and are like just like dissolve dissolve dissolve into you know whatever um but that that that's that's awfully nice especially since lately always my except for yesterday always been sort of doing is fighting or you know having sad discussions or careful problems or whatever um but let us let us hope that that the true reconciliation of jonnie nalivia would be um you know hotter than people can handle um that's that's if that's what if that's what they've got in mind i'm going to start going to the gym i don't think you have anything to worry about you let them hot and sexy as it is thank you man well but if that's what it is then then now i feel like i feel like i've been issued a challenge i'm gonna i'm gonna gotta say i gotta say that i agree with branford and kara that you are hotter than Sandra Bullock thank you let me say i should be so lucky no i do i i have often heard people tell me that i look like her a lot i mean i see what yeah they we have the same sort of a smiley face and brown hair and brown eyes that kind of thing yeah that's very nice but but that's a very lovely compliment so thank you very much yeah so yeah first of all i gotta say big shout out to you and all the g h cast you guys do a wonderful job oh thank you so keep keep up the great work i do have i do have two questions yeah my first question uh has to do with how typically on average about how much lead time do you get between receiving your script and actually filming the scenes um let me see let's say between five three day i mean the thing is that like let's say you you get a script five days in advance you can read it but you still in your mind what you have to be preparing is the one for the next day do you know what i mean so you can know what's coming up but in terms of memorizing actually memorizing the line and working on the scene uh it's usually sort of the day before a couple days before because you're you're having to prepare the stuff that you're going to do the next day if that makes any sense but you normally know what's going to happen the next with about a week's lead time or slightly less yeah okay yeah yeah that that's what i was getting at so and it's always it's kind of like for me it's still like christmas morning when i go and i see new scripts in my in my mailbox at work like what is he going to do next what's what's nice i'm right i'm glad you said that that was gonna be my next question is you got to be kind of like a little bit like a fan like us like oh what am i gonna get oh absolutely dude i like i said before i've been watching the show since i was a little girl since like i remember like Steve Hardy in a in an earthquake at the hospital like with nurse Jesse behind the desk and everything i've been watching the show forever so and and it is and it is it's fascinating to see how the each each you know each new script you get the character is developing some some new thing or some new something is opening up that you have to you know get your mind around how that character would approach it and that that gets you know you get more comfortable with what they're and it's still i mean i i've been on the show what uh what a year and a half something like that and i still i i you know don't have it all figured out in terms of what will always be you know that you know you know you have your through lines and what you think but but you still i i'm still learning who she is and how to to play her for sure and i think people even people who would be who've been there for you know 15 16 years i i think i think Maurice would probably say the same thing about Sonny he doesn't know every single thing that that makes Sonny tick you still have to have a sense of of of you know creation with it as long as you or else it gets you know to be not a lot of fun i guess when you know a character as much as Maurice knows Sonny for instance you can sometimes say he would never do this and and you're probably no more than anyone else that he would never do this you know or something like that but you know i yeah i did that ask the question it does oh good it does and then and then the only other thing i was wondering is do you have off the top of your head do you have like a a funny like dressing room story or something or like something that goes on offset or something funny cuz from what i understand like i've seen i from what i understand Bradford have like video game council and his dressing room oh dude people get together and like he had something of like boxing thing that goes on and and you can hear it all through the hallways when they're after they're done working you hear him and Dominic or him and Maurice and they're like screaming screaming i'm like dude dude i got you i want to kick your ass like they're in the screen and they're doing some sort of like video game boxing and they come out of there like sweaty like like they've been they're like they've really been kicking they like kicking the crap out of each other yeah someday someone's gonna put an eye out in Steve's dressing room with with with one other you know controllers or whatever it is but but but they they definitely have have a good time doing that my my dressing room is in the far corner it's much more to date i have a i have a uh you know a refrigerator full of you know perrier water and and and lemons and stuff like that that's like there's nothing loud it's always sort of like there's a there's a candle and a glass of perrier and some pistachio nuts or something you know i'm i'm kind of like Olivia i'm always giving people food when they come into my dressing room i was going into my refrigerator and pulling out you know fortune cookies or i need to i need a couple over there's the studio and yes yeah some organic root beer or something like hey and or you know people people are often surprised no Maurice will be sitting in my in the in the room we talking about you know the the characters and what we're going to be about to do we'll be running lines like would you like we like what the hell do you have in organic root beer what is this like this tastes terrible but we have we have like we have a good time oh and the last thing i i have to say is also thanks for posting the halloween takes oh those were fun right hands and job both oh yeah yeah kenny powers pan mod jack right and i and and i miss and i miss took uh him for inspector cluso so i felt really bad about that i miss took bradford's costume but kenny powers that was brad brandon went all out yeah mine i think we didn't really get a good picture of mine mind it my picture of mine didn't really come out right but it was gary who does it see bertons oh that'll be good he does a he does a good event i hear yeah that's what i've heard all these ladies on their tweet in a way they're crazy yeah he's funny he's he's he's uh he's much funnier than stone cold oh yeah so anyways um yeah i've been like you i've been watching for a long time since i'm just young and i just love watching all the characters and i think i'm so glad that they brought you on that's really flattering that they wrote the pot for you thank you thank you yeah i i'm having fun too yeah i'm um here in texas but i grew up in boston so when you kind of bring out that new york accent i like that yeah i i've been in watching lately i've been thinking that she she needs to go back to more of that because because i think the way people do you know when you when you have like like i had a very thick midwestern accent when i moved to new york as an adult and it as as time went on it went away and i think that olivia's accent was a lot stronger conscious choice when i came on the show than it is now but sometimes it it comes out more when she's angrier when she's talking to dante or when she's stressed out which is the same with me in my midwestern accent but i think sometimes sometimes when i'm watching like i want to see i want to see that olivia like when i first came on the show just like point her finger in sunny's face and scream at him old school style so i think i think that that's that's sort of what's in my heart right now to sort of to see in in olivia at this i i don't know if the storyline will support that right now but just good to have a little bit of flavor a little more i i want i i feel like she's been she's been very um a little bit apologetically for for very good reason but i'm kind of i'm kind of thinking that that that it might be time to take her to the like you know what i made these decisions i'm standing by them and if you don't like them you can kiss my you know what and that's that right i'm i'm gonna sort of i'm gonna sort of i'm i'm thinking that that might be where she would she would move at this point with with her back sort of against the wall in so many ways well we love seeing the um i love seeing the the fights with Claudia that's it always made me laugh because you guys are so good at it and so real i i wonder if they really like each other in real life we had so much fun i don't mean to like record or anything but like after that that cat fight that we had we were just like we were hugging each other we're like you're the best oh you're the best he really is she's she's awesome i i miss working with her yeah i always know that something good is going to be on the screen when you go up with her for sure for sure so long those lines my question was when the writers write your script you know they have the right is but in like you just said about um marice a little bit ago like because he's been doing it for so long you know he might say hey that doesn't work i don't think sunny would do that so did they talk to you guys like like do they say when okay you read your lines and this is what you have to do but do they say play it like this like this is the reaction that they want to kind of get out of you but do you kind of you guys talk about that with the writers you know not not so much with the writers i mean um and i think probably with every actor it might be different like i think if they're not getting what they want from you in terms of telling the story they would come and have a talk with you um i've i've never like gotten a talk that was you know you're not you're not doing what we needed to do anything or or um you know i did get that they said there's going to be so much coming up for Olivia right now in terms of of of her her stuff you know everything's falling apart for her and they said we want to make sure that right that right and this is going to be the stuff that you're that's going to be airing right now it's going to be the result of of this note which is just like we want to see holy crap in everything you do right now so i mean it's going to look like right now um that for the next the next few weeks at least Olivia's choices are all going to be colored with like holy crap like there's no there's no relaxing for her for the even right maybe for for moments for moments at a time like you know there's some scenes where she she maybe forgets what's what's at stake for a moment but then is very quickly reminded that you know however comfortable she may be in this moment this is this is not what's going on right now is not going to end well right the one thing about her character they they finally write somebody that actually thinks about the consequences of whatever the character is going to do they think about it other like a lot of the other girls that they write for a very impulsive and then you know it gives them matches to real life but Olivia's really I think a lot uh very relatable oh that's that that's nice i i i mean and i i try to look for that too i mean because because you know i mean obviously the point in a soap opera is to create as much conflict as possible so a lot of times we're gonna do things that you know it's not the best decision it's like it's a great decision for Elizabeth to be sleeping with her to guy and the brother and whatever it's like you got to create the conflict but but at least have the character i'm always trying to play that that she really is fighting to do the right thing and know what the right thing to do is even when there's so not a clear answer right that's that's like that that's the trick of and and like i was just saying and and to to to right now i'm feeling like she's been in this holy crap place for a really long time and she is going to continue to be but to to bring more of the of the fire back into it like i remember i remember watching like when when the character of Claudia sort of got back to going you know what sonny go to hell you know what i mean i love that like because she played that like please like me please don't kill me that was kind of like her storyline for a long time and when they finally gave her that like you know what just why don't you you're a son of a bitch and you can it was like so rootable it was so just like oh he's like oh it's even even if someone who loves sonny was like you tell him sister like you know exactly and and i and i think that it'll be nice to even as much as trouble as Olivia is in right now to for her to um get some of her bends in her uh back she's gonna need it she's gonna need it to get through what she's got coming up so right well i hope they whatever they write i hope they get that you get to stay on and because i i'm really starting to like dominate too and i don't know i can't see how it's gonna go that he's gonna get to stay on the show but isn't he a doll he is i mean there's i i can't imagine that they're gonna that whatever they need to do storyline wise to keep him for as long as they possibly can he's yeah they make him very likable he and he is he is in life too he's i i feel so grateful that of all the guys that they could have gone with that they saw what i see and what i think a lot of people are seeing him because that guy is just he's even like of the people on the show you know and and cast mates hanging out and whatever he's the guy that i'll that i'll go to that that we we think a lot of like about things and i can run stuff by him like is this is this good upper am i just being a jerk and he'll do you know what i mean like you tell me just seem like right to you or do that and and and i and i know that he's he's a good person that we have a similar sort of mindset about things he's i honestly i mean i feel like he's like my grown son that i'm really proud of oh that's right yeah he grew up in the northeast too he's from Canada oh that's right i did i read that that's right actually yeah he's from Canada he he's and yeah and i'm from the midwest so no we we actually that we went out and had a beer last night and we're just talking about stuff and i i did i felt like you know this is so nice to have a grown son that i can go out and have a beer with oh that's sweet it's great great guy one more thing i don't want to keep you but did did so did Olivia and Johnny break up in that scene when like because he told them about she told them about the sun i mean yeah he found out the truth blah blah blah yeah and then she goes over to the garage and it's like oh and by the way i kissed Sunny which really he kissed you but yes thank you are they breaking up no she stays the night she stays the night that night and then they're very happy and then and then Sunny walks in like he like he always does and it's it's so awesome it's so awesome how more the way that more used to see that because it's this thing that Maurice doesn't get to play a lot but when he walks in on Sunny and i he never plays that sort of obvious like i'm a jealous man like you know whatever he just gets his big grin on his face like oh i see you two are busy ha ha ha he gets that funny little face on him that just but then and this you see and that's where my job as an actor gets hard because in that moment Olivia should go all like Benson her son is asking be like get his grinning kind of dimples out of here and quit laughing at me and get your ass out the door but but myself i'm like oh he he cracks me up and then it you know and then but i have to remember it's in in real life to not go oh he's being funny and be charmed by you just give i'm gonna start giving it to him you heard it here first if i given it to him i don't mean get i mean i'm gonna say so there's no ad libbing on those lines it's like you got to say it and oh no we do quite a bit actually i mean some we do okay we do we do that's what you do it will come out your oh yeah i mean i can't like write in a whole new monologue or whatever but we especially with Maurice because he he very much likes to keep it fresh for him so sometimes you can sort of like it to he appreciates it when you sort of uh you know surprise him with a different line configuration that but it keeps it keeps it interesting interesting keeps everyone on their toes and so far no one's come down and said like stop doing that uh you need to say it like it was on a page so apparently they don't mind well good i think you're doing a great job i'm glad you're on the show and i hope you stay around for a while thank you very much you come to texas all you know we'll get a crew together and go eat stuff to you yeah yeah yeah we're trying to think of things like i know that for Brandon and i did to do maybe or or me and Dom off oh yeah that'd be
