Shaun Robinson is the weekend co-anchor and correspondent for "Access Hollywood," the daily entertainment newsmagazine show currently in its 13th season of providing the most comprehensive coverage of entertainment news and personalities on television.

Robinson is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and author. She has interviewed the top stars in Hollywood and has co-hosted the Official Pre-Shows for the Academy Awards (2008, 2006, 2005, and 2003) and Golden Globes (2007, 2006, 2002). Robinson co-hosted NBC's "Miss Teen USA Pageant" (2006), anchored NBC's coverage of the "Tournament of Roses Parade" (2004) and was co-host of the ShoWest Awards (2005). She has served as a presenter for the Latin Grammy's, "Soul Train Music Awards," "Stellar Gospel Awards," "Lady of Soul Awards" and the UNCF "An Evening of Stars" celebration. In addition, Shaun recently co-hosted "Access Hollywood's" coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Access Hollywood is entering its 14th season in national syndication the week of Sept. 21 and has a number of exciting new features in the show this year.

Such new segments that are coming to Access Hollywood are: "Ah Nation," "Final 45," "In Case You Missed It," and "Watch This!"

I'm sorry. I correct myself there Kevin Rankin He is on the new show trauma playing the role of Tyra Briggs He'll be on on the 28th at 11 30 am Eastern Standard Town. Jeff Reiner Speaking of trauma Jeff Reiner is an executive producer of that show. He'll be joining us on the 2nd Of October at 10 30 am and then on the 9th Paul Logan Stars in a new sci-fi show mega fault and he formally played the role of Glenn Reiner on day for a live He'll be joining us on match to talk about his role on there. So We got a few interesting shows coming up So yeah absolutely safety and they'll be they'll be great You know, I just had to ask that if you ever You don't you know you're going out and You know, you just mind your own because he doing whatever and all of a sudden you just start calling This pretty much what happened to me. This is why I have this craftiness going on. There's no It's like you just came out out of the blue and that's all you've got Just the cause it is so dry. It's so dry And you know, there's some those you know kind of weird but Just by how I thought you can imagine well good. I had but uh, yeah, it's just it's just weird and As I don't know if it has if it is the start of a cold or you know It's just a dry call that I got going on it could be neither or I'm not sure Yeah, so I'm definitely trying to figure out exactly what it is. So, you know, I have no idea Okay Hopefully it'll get better By the end of the day. It's not into tomorrow Like it to celebrate having a next couple of days off after today from work and Get to sit back and relax Now that and one of the things that I was going to do on my days off I was supposed to go away to wedding it would be my first wedding that I would have been in as a best man and Now I really can't go because of this if this is going to continue. There would be no way that I would have been able to get there And Oh, there's some news that just came out for all you Melrose play fans There have been talks to get how they're lucklier to come on Surprise her Amanda Woodward roll It turns out that she is returning to Melrose plays on the 17th of November Hmm, I feel the interesting huh Being able to watch her an action, so that's going to be really really cool. I cannot wait to see that. I Loved Amanda Woodward. I did. I love the character. Have a lot. They are definitely brought bitch to Melrose place and What was it that she was called? A bitch in a mini skirt. I think that's what it was. I think as I remember my Melrose place history correctly She was the bitch in the mini skirt. So hopefully we'll be seeing Exactly that when she comes back on the show. So I am looking forward to that. That's great. That's really great And it it's on tonight's 9 on 2-0 and no place around tonight with brand new episodes So make sure you watch those on your local CBW affiliate Check it local listings for times So you guys check those out Anybody was feeling the rest of this yesterday and I got to see it. I couldn't get to see during the day Thank goodness for stuff now I got to see Victor gets shot three times by Mary Jane aka Penny Williams and It was very weird to see that only because Victor has been shot twice before and this was my Mary Joe. Now I'm seeing him shot now and it's just like It's weird to see how the mighty have fallen but I don't know a lot of people think that he definitely got what was coming to him a lot of people. Well, actually I'll let all one person that thinks that he should not get with coming to him kind of thing You know who you are if you listen into the show So, yeah, a lot of people definitely wanted to get his come up in and face the consequences What he did to for bringing patty into town of our new face and trying to raise havoc on that habit So, you know They're doing it right, but it's a shame that the characters are coming gonna die and I know a lot of people do not want that to happen as well but I'm one of those I guess that I did Want the recast for this role? And then they didn't have to kill her. I'll take her to center off to like College or a university somewhere in that way. Do you would start an opportunity to bring this character back but in a new base? If tenants are sucked really did want to leave the show But I'm that's just me. I'm would not have killed her off. You already killed off her father. Why are you gonna kill? Her off as well, so Maybe that's just me All right, all right. Yeah, I cannot believe it's been 14 years that shows that I've watched it Ever since the first year ever since the first year and I've always watched acts and it's really cool to see one of these kind of shows To survive in this in this mainstream media The other show that you know obviously comes to mind is ET entertainment tonight and you know, I grew up with that as well, but this one just seems more organized and It seems like access Hollywood knows exactly what they're doing. So that's really really good. I love the Hollywood and It's nice that we'll be able to talk to somebody who is who does this show as well as find out exactly How are these people in the mainstream media that she has gotten the opportunity to interview? I'm having jealous. Good morning? Sure, are you with us? Hello? How are you? Hi? How are you? I? Fantastic Thank you so much for joining us this morning. You are welcome. You're welcome. Thanks so much for having me Absolutely, and again, okay told everybody earlier part of my voice. It's like it's got the scratchy thing going on But they said I sound good, so I'm just like okay, but you know Now we're you like were you shouting or anything? What was what's going on? I I guess I'm developing a Cool, I don't I mean it doesn't even feel like I'm developing a role. It's just like I got to dry coffee going on Oh, okay. Yeah, so it's a it's it's it's fun Yeah, I had a really it was really bad But you know what it's not going to stop me from doing this show I don't know that at all. So congratulations on acts of Hollywood celebrating 14 years 14 years Yeah, the show's been on 14 years. I have I have been there since 99 So not since the beginning, but but yeah, but it's been really really fun Yeah, and like I mentioned, I think half of Hollywood is probably the better Entertainment shows that we have going on right now. Oh, you like that. Okay, great It is I mean, I it's like well organized, you know, and you know, it seems like the stars relate to you guys a lot More than what we do see on the other on the other shows. Oh, okay. Well, it's fun Yeah, it's definitely a really really fun show and we just come with the Emmys That was oh god. It was like 98,000 degrees on that red carpet. Oh, sorry about it. I mean, I didn't go to the primes on I went to the daytime one. Oh, did you I went to the daytime Emmys in August and that was just awful It was worse because my position I was right under the song that was bad They're a lot of bad, but yeah, man. I know that you have fun at the primes on the knees and I have to add though. I love and Part of me rad is just so intriguing to me when you interview those big name Stars on the red carpet or on the show whatever how they really like in person and yes, that's a general question But you know everybody's like asking one of this person's diva or this person's really cool How how how are they really they're often close and personal? Well, you know, there are my favorites Will Smith is one of my favorite celebrities. I just love him love talking to him and You know, we after being there since 99 I of course have you know lots of Celebrities who I have great relationships with so it's always good to see somebody friendly face that you see coming down the carpet You know, there's some people that you really really click with and who you really? Are able to have a great conversation with and those are the ones that I really like Absolutely. Absolutely. So tell us. I did but I do I am a big fan of yours and I Wanted to ask as a hostess of the show. What tips would you give to another host? I hope the show also like Navell does so and I do interviews with celebrities as well So what would you give what advice would you give me on hosting? Well, I would say let's say well, thank you very much. I really really appreciate your kind words. I Would say One of the keys is just really listening To what the person is saying a lot of times we have so many questions that we want to get in we're not really listening to the answer And I think it's like they're all conversations. If you have a lot to say you're not really Focusing on on the point that the person you're talking to wants to get out So I would say one of the greatest things is to listen and to let that person shine As opposed to trying to make yourself the focus Mmm, okay second question if I may who who do you think is the most? Spectacular celebrity that you've ever interviewed. I Love will Yes, I did hear you say that. Yes. Yeah, like as far as being star struck. Let's put it that way star struck I don't know. I don't get stars Let's see. Oh, oh, I know the one person I think the only time I've ever really been star struck and just kind of made a fool of myself was with Al Pacino Really because wow the stars and then there's Al Pacino. Yeah, I mean, he's just so It's just Al Pacino, you know, yeah Right, yeah, I just thought you know that was the one time. I think I was star struck Okay, well, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions Big big fan. Thank you very much. I appreciate that.
