BuzzWorthy Radio: Michael Cohen!
Bravo is expanding its arts and culture slate with the network's newest docu-series "Miami Social." Heading to the country's hottest city to show you what life is like in the energetic social scene of South Beach, Bravo explores the lives of a group of hot, young professionals – corporate types by day and party animals by night – as they navigate the sometimes murky waters of Miami's hottest locales. "Miami Social" premieres Tuesday, July 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Michael Cohen is one of Miami's "in the know," tapped into the media world as a freelance editor covering local entertainment and A-list celebrities for magazines such as In Touch. He also commentates for local and national TV shows such as CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight.” He is currently working hard at launching his own website – thestylelabonline.com – an e-commerce site that will cover all that is fashionable. His job allows him the freedom to explore the hottest Miami locales, including lunch meetings at the chicest hotel pools and cocktails on the hottest rooftop lounges. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoys life with his three-year-old poodle, Austin, all while looking for love in the sometimes complicated and dramatic world of South Beach.

I believe this is Mr. Michael Cohen. How are you? Good. What's going on? Las Vegas. Las Vegas. Is that where you're at now? No. Is that where you are, right? Um, Jersey. Oh, you're in Jersey? Oh, wrong interview. But Jersey's good, too. Jersey. Jersey's okay if it doesn't have the big smell. Your reports that are bad, huh? Yes. But I'm not watching the housewise in New Jersey. It seems okay to me. Um, yeah. I didn't like that show I'm guessing, huh? Yes. Yes. You don't know unless you've really been here for as long as I have, and it's like a lot to be desired. I grew up in New York, so, but no, I know. I don't know what is with Jersey. People are like, either I love it or they hate it. You know, so what's going on? Are you fan of Miami social or what? I did. I like it, man, but more, but I mainly know you from show this tonight on CNN, so. Oh, yeah. I've done a couple of those. Did you? Yes. I love that show bit tonight. I do. That's like my favorite thing ever. Really? No. I wish they had me on more. No, I really, I wish they had me on more, but they don't call me anymore. I feel a problem if you gave me a scar, the scarlet letter. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm stripping away my credibility. I think that's funny because it must be because I read online saying that in touch fired you because you didn't buy any stuff. I'm like, what? They did. Isn't that crazy? Well, listen, here's the thing. I knew that, you like, listen, in touch, I was there a long time, and I was like, okay. You know, and when this show is coming up, they just weren't feeling it because I don't know if they think they have the next, you know, chore for cancer. But, like, I don't know what secrets they thought I was going to tell or do or what they were thinking. You know? And I was like, get over yourself. And so, I was like, anyway, going to sort of entering my own because I wanted to do, like, I'm writing about pop culture. And I started my own little company. It's called the Style Lab Online.com. And it's like a daily sheet. It's like the daily candy meets the onion. And so, I knew that I was going to have some new events in my life, but it came very abruptly. This whole in touch, you know, severing the ties. And I was there a long time. Like, I was there when they had, like, eight people working there. So, I was loyal, like, and I'm kind of annoyed about it if I let go of it, you know? Time definitely you. Yeah, kind of. I mean, listen, you know, it takes the time for a little wound to heal, you know? Like one day, yeah, everything comes full circle this much, I know. You know, and who knows what editors will be where and so on and so on. That's true. You did your homework, huh? Well, a little bit. A little bit. I'm thinking it as I go along, I think. You had some internship. Now, googling my name. No, I didn't do that. Actually, I did. I did that last week, so I already knew about the Internet thing, but I was doing it again anyway. Well, you got to go to my regular site. I am Michael Cohen dot com. That's great because that has, like, everything. And I think that name is really funny. So that took a while for me to put together. I put anecdotes of like all these celebrity stories I've done. Like, I way back to, like, 2001 and they're really funny, but I've done so many great stories. Don't you love that, popologist? I made that up, too. I don't exactly know what a topologist is, but sounds good. I don't either. You're, like, Beyonce making a booty list or something. Oh, my God. Listen, you know what? It's kind of funny. You can make something interesting if people, you know, link onto it. You know, if they do great, they don't come up with another name. Yeah. It's that easy. It is that easy. So I'm going to have your character besides me. I think that's it because you're like the only one I know. So I'm like, well, since I already know him, that's it. That's how I make my assumptions. If I, if I, that's why I don't watch a lot of reality shows. I really don't. I don't. I hate. What do you want to say? I'm looking around, like, you should know one year to be like you. I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a soap knife. Oh, my God. You're kidding. I'm not kidding. I mean, it's so proper. Is this where you're going to start making fun of me now? Yes. I mean, I thought you were going to start making fun of me now. I'm not going to, you know, listen, everybody's got their own thing. If you want to come up on your soap and watch soap operas at night, that's cool. That night. Thanks. Thanks a lot. That, that just shows right there that you think I have no life. Well, usually if you'll watch soap operas. I won't go there with you. Oh, man. You got to watch our show tonight, though. We need a lot of fan support because we need better ratings. I, I will be watching it when I get off the work tonight. Yes. What time do you have to work? Get off the seven. Well, you get a long day. I, yeah, I do. But I'll be home in time before the show starts. Then I'll pick it off. So I'm reading the Bravo Vlogs this morning, right? And everybody's really pouring their hearts out to George. It's really crazy. You know, this is the one with the girlfriend that was pregnant. Then she's not pregnant. Then here she got her abortion and all kinds of craziness. Oh, man. Yeah, it's better than it's soap operas. They're telling you. So now they want him to go find Jesus Christ. I think I should watch reality shows more often. Now I'm just saying. Do you watch the housewives of Atlanta? I don't watch the housewives of Atlanta. You don't? No, I don't. You watching New York City press? No. You're pretty much going to watch everything. You're going to pretty much ask me what other reality show I watched. I'm going to, I'm going to flat out how you know. And so just, I mean, I think you didn't even watch my own new social. I'm pretty much going to tell you no. Every other reality show that you're going to name to me. I'm just having the only reality show that interests you. Right. Okay. I'm lying. I do watch other reality shows. Okay. I do watch Big Brother. That's my summer addiction. Big Brother is my addiction. There are some hotities on Big Brother. That's why I watch it. Otherwise, it takes your less. Yeah. I'm all in it for them fighting with each other. That's what I'm there for. Yeah. They got some good fights, right? They do got some good fights. I know the real fights. Nothing safe there. I, I just can't get past season six. Janelle, Janelle was my girl. Love Janelle. Oh, yeah. He's okay. I like it too. Okay. Get ready to say. I was going to say what? No way. No way. She's not just okay. What? All right, man. You're on Twitter. You've got to follow me on Twitter. I'm following you on Twitter. You're on Facebook. I just sent you a Facebook ad. So you've got to accept it. Oh, I love the Twitter thing. I always get like new Twitter people when the show is airing. It's so great. I'm a dick. But I don't update it that much though. I need to update more. I should put in the updates that are good. You've got to come back for a longer visit, man. That's it, you know what I mean? You've got to come back for a longer stay. I think so. Ten minutes is not enough. You've got to come back for a longer stay, man. Usually, you know what? You should have me when we do our season finale. You're going to have a lot of questions. All right. All right. It's really crazy. I'm telling you, it's really crazy. And I don't say things are crazy if they're not. That's true. I got your info. We'll hook it up. Awesome. Thanks. It's a fun interview with you. Thanks, man. Thanks for stopping by. We'll get you here. You're welcome. We'll get. All right. All right. Take care. Bye. Bye. I definitely got to watch more reality shows apparently. I'm definitely going to watch more reality shows.
