Stay tuned for what's coming up, what's happening, what's going on, and what will be coming up, what drama to be expected on your favorite folks. Listen in. Hey everybody, welcome to a new edition of Buzzworthy Radio. I'm your host Novell J. Lee coming to you live right now on this Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009. It is 9PM Eastern Time, 6PM Pacific this time on blogtalkradio.com. For those of you who want to join us on a conversation tonight, the number to dial in is 646-595-4228. We also have the chat room up and running, or you can shoot us an email with your questions at naveley@buzzworthyradio.net. We're going to be joined tonight by Heather Tom who plays the role of Katie Logan on the bull and beautiful. She also was on one like to live as Kelly Kramer for several years, but myself included. Many fans remember her best for playing the role of Victoria Newman on the Young and the Restless. I grew up with her playing that role and she will always be Victoria Newman to me. So I can't wait to talk to her about that, her time on the show, but before we bring her on, let's bring on the co-host, Matthew Preston. How are you doing, sir? I'm doing very well. So are you excited for tonight? From your tone from last night when we wrapped up the show, it sounded like you were a little bit peeped. Well, you know, sometimes I actually, I will find out, you know, for the first time who we're going to have on. So yeah, you'll hear my reaction from there. But if we ever, if you guys know, and if people do listen, as well as Navell knows, if we ever have a CVS person on, especially from either the Young and the Restless or the more beautiful or Bell soap, well, there's only two, I get so excited and giddy. And yeah, so I'm excited. I like you. I grew up watching your own Y&R and I'm a huge fan of hers. Yes, absolutely. And also, I wanted to give you some tidbits, because again, not just you that were coming out of the board work last night, I'm telling me everything. I had more people also mention I was a promoting show-creating machine last night, because all these shows popped out of nowhere. Like tonight's for instance. Also, tomorrow at 11 a.m. Eastern time with Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelor in the Bachelorette on ABC, Hollywood 411 on the TVI channel and Designers Challenge on HGTV. We'll be joining us. We finally had that show rescheduled. He was supposed to be with us last week and we got his schedule to come with, join the show tomorrow morning, as well as another show tomorrow. We have two shows tomorrow. The second one is at 3 p.m. Eastern with Evan Alex Cole, please roll a hundred as the world turns. We're going to be joined by him tomorrow. And Friday, got clipped in. We'll be joining the show. We have rescheduled that one as well for 11 a.m. Eastern standard time as well. So, three more shows in just two days. How about that? Pretty cool. We're busy. Buzzworthy is busy. Well, I'm kind of unhappy that we're busy. You know, I'm really on. So, bring it. I'm taking after Damon Jacobs on that front. Bring it. But yeah, so you, like yourself, you and I, we were watching Victoria being played by a hundred times on the show. What was your favorite moment of Victoria? What do you remember best about her? Oh, wow. I think her interaction, probably with Nikki, would be one of the best. I remember her coming on first. I think I was like five or six when she first came on. I just remember seeing her. I was like, wow, Victoria kind of grew up because, you know, when you're younger, you don't really understand sourcing and who they are. But I think there's probably been her first moment on the show. I can remember that. And yeah, I mean, but I'm definitely loving her on the bull and beautiful. I know you aren't talking about line art, but I love her on the bull and beautiful. I think she's a perfect pick. Yes, I do. Still sat in me once her back on line art with Victoria. I really, really do. I, it's weird, though, because now with Don, the amount over there on the bull and beautiful as a little Spencer and Heather acting opposite of Don again, it just seems like there's that line art chemistry that was just brought over to the sister show. So I kind of am anxious to see that too. So, you know, I have to pick and choose my battles, not one, but yeah, I have to go with that one. I do. I, I, that's tough, but I, I really would like her back on line art, but I am enjoying her on bull and beautiful stuff. I can't have that because she's in that. That's something that I want to ask her is that you actually did bring up a really good point. There are so many people on the bull and the beautiful now from line art, Don, the amount being won, Jennifer Darris, Ashley Jones, you know, hopefully the name's written, plus they just perfect with who he used to, he used to be on line art, right? No, yes. No, Rick hurts with on the younger rappers, but not as with Clark. Exactly, yes. So, you know, so there's so many people who have been on line art and because, you know, like they are sister soaps and they do crossovers all the time. It would be weird to have Katie go to Generalist City and play, wait a minute, don't you look familiar and play, I don't know what you're talking about. You know, it would, it would just be weird. So, they really have to watch who they, especially Lauren, if Lauren, we have seen Lauren go back to Los Angeles briefly, when she gets back and she's going to run into Don de Amont and be like, oh my god, that's a lie. What, you know, I mean, it's, yeah. It's been done already, sir. They did it when Ashley was on Bone Beautiful and at a time was already on it. Yeah. So, true, but I mean, like she was always, you know, I don't know, but did you really see Katie interact with Ashley at all? They can't hear that well. I have, I have, really, I have, really, wow. I mean, you know what I mean? It's, it's so awkward to do and so, but I want to know how she's going to, we can ask her that, but he feels about that. No, no, no, that's okay. Everybody wants to know if everybody's asked me to get Sean Katie back and you know what, I love Sean Katie. I do. Sean Katie was the best. He was great having him on the show last year. I'll just never forget the moment that he called me a big fat black woman. I will never, I will never forget that moment. That, that probably was the epitome of the show, was when he called me a big fat black woman because that's what he expected when he heard my first name. That, that's the back door. You had to listen to that. If just go such an archive of everybody and listen for our Sharon and Canaan show from last year, I believe it was in April and when Sean Hayden was coming onto the show and he heard my name, he immediately thought that I was a big fat black woman. So, I'm just, I know that was a very, that was a very interesting five minutes of conversation just by that alone. I mean, now, you know, I look like I'm the opposite of that. I'm a skinny black man. So, you know, it's kind of, it's kind of crazy. So, I'm telling you right now I'm working on it. So, just, just stay tuned. That's all I can tell. Yeah. Actually, from, from Facebook, I learned, I think some, I don't know if it's true or not, but somebody said, I saw on the, the post that Sean and Heather used to take classes together. Um, as far as I know of, yes. Actually, Angie, Angie Theo, who's in the chat room right now, was the one who actually put that on our, on the wall and did say that Diane took active classes together and it brings the point. What is, what is she was still playing Victoria right now? Her interacting with the, you can sharpen Sean, and I wonder when that would have been like, that would have been some interesting chemistry between those two, I think. Guess we'll never know. Man. I left. I left. I left. Popsed out to Angie. Pops out to Angie for saying that, by the way. That's awesome. They're always, our listeners are always teaching us stuff. I'm always, I'm always learning from them. So, yeah. All right. We have a caller from area code 312. I'm bringing you on the line right now. How are you? Hey, it's about Tony, Tony. What's up, man from Chicago? That's right, bro. What's up, Tony? What's been happening? What's been happening? It's been a while since you've been here. What's gone? Oh, man. You know, life has been taking me busy, you know? Life has been taking me busy. That's right. That's right. So, you're a big Heather Tom fan, right? Yes, I am. Yes, I've been a fan of hers. I've been basically from younger rest of the days to her one life live days. Yeah, definitely. Are you watching her on the bone beautiful now? Yeah, I watch her occasionally. I watch her a couple of times. Yes, I've seen her. And most recently, with the things that he did with Vietnam with Bill Spencer, and of course, the, the going on with the triangle going on between her and Lauren and Nick. Who not missed that? True. That's pretty cool. So, in your, in your improv to opinion, like I, like I asked Matt at the beginning of the show, do you want, would you like to see Heather Tom back on the younger rest of us as a guest? Do a little swap out, bring Amelia, Amelia, finally over to B&B, play that role of Katie, and just magically just shift Heather Tom right back on over to Y&R and play Victoria again. Would you, would you like that? Or do you like the way they are right now? Well, I know a lot of people would love to see Heather Tom back over there as, had her, no, I mean, as a Victoria, no doubt about that. Me included, but I, that pretty much, I think Heather herself might say, hmm, she's pretty much happy where she is right now, and it's playing Katie. Do you think that? Yeah, yeah, I think she would be, but you know, most fans, like I said, most fans would love to see her. I wouldn't love, I would love to see her back over at Y&R, you know, and it's like, it's like you come full circle, she'll become like, come full circle, she's throwing on Y&R, come back over here. Yeah, well, you never know. I mean, if she's happy at B&B, I'm happy for her, but again, I know a lot of people, especially right now, with what's going on with this show, they want to see her back in that show. Yeah, if not her, then Jean and son, you'll need to take over the part. That's the rumor on the street. Yeah, yeah, that's right. Yeah, Jean could be, oh, that could be a good pickup, you know, if you can't get Heather back, why not, you know? Yeah, I think Jean, I think Jean has a, as Victoria, she plays, she plays a scrapper. I mean, I don't think, I mean, I highly would have the chops to smack Victor Newman across the face, like Heather Dom did. Well, you know what, I'm going to totally defend Amelia here because, I mean, I will say, I like Amelia on any ABC soap, I think she was great on children, and also, why don't you all love things, love things last the city. I thought she was great on that, you know, but I think that she needed to give her props. She has really, obviously, she had a great chemistry with bad luck, and though, because they're married, and I think that you couldn't, if you put Heather with, if you put Heather back there, it would be kind of awkward to see Heather with, you know, with JT, because you know the best way in real life, I'm just, you know, you know, me, Amelia's corner here. I love, I love Katie, and I love what Heather, Heather has done with Katie, with Katie's stay in LA, and Amelia's stay in general, city. I'm sorry, I'm, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to go against you on this one, because, I know, honestly, I'm not buying Amelia as Victoria, she did not sell, and there, there are some instances where she can play it, but majority of the time, she can't, she can't do it, she can't stand up on her own two feet against these other people. So, I, I'm, I'm sorry, I'm just, I'm buying Amelia as Victoria, I can't, and she's just not, she's not doing it for me, and Claude, I think if they did bring back Heather into the show as Victoria, that Victoria and JT flings, marriage, whatever you may call it, probably will not last, so. Well, do you think it's the writing then? Maybe, like, do you think the writer has given her opportunity to do that? I think he has given her an opportunity to show herself as Victoria, and every time they do, she fails. Wow. I'm sorry, he does fail, perfect instance, in example, once Nikki told Victoria that Adam was gay. How did she react to that? Basically, how I just said, um, I mean, seriously, there was like no reaction whatsoever. So, no. For her to even not show any ounce of trying to emote in that, just in just that one scene that probably was made about five seconds before I cut the black, it went into the opening theme song. Nothing. I got nothing from her. Nothing. So, I take it, we won't be having a million on the show. Oh, no, I have nothing against a million the person. I just don't like the way she's playing Victoria. I just don't think she is Victoria. That's a huge miscast on my part, in my opinion. That's it. She was great on the left, wasn't she? Did you remember the loving/city? The loving movies? Yeah, I definitely remember that, Matthew. Yeah, she played the little Steppy Brewster in those two, in those two shows. And it was like when she played on Love Me and Then We went on the city when the show moved to New York. Yeah, she did, if you played well, of course, she's in part of that, you know, that young cast that was back in the day, back in the day, with her and Laura Wright and Keckin back in the day. So, yeah, that was a good ensemble. I had to agree that I liked her on loving and the city, especially during the last several months of loving towards the end when it was revealed that Gwyneth was the chorus killer and her scenes with Christine Tudor on the next to the final episode was just absolutely amazing. They did post the scenes on YouTube, so I did re-watch them again and still they blown me away. Why Christine Tudor does not have an Emmy on her nightstand? Surprisingly. Maybe it's because loving was such a small show, you know, where the... I don't really have any to do with the range, but I think that loving was such a small show, sort of, I don't know, I'm going to shoot myself in the figure by saying this. Loving was not a small show. Loving was pretty much the ugly duckling of ABC daytime. I mean, it was really bad on the show. When she was on here for our first show, when she came on, she pretty much dissed about loving. She dished and dissed it. So, you know, I mean, because really, she had nothing really good to say about a lot of the stuff with loving at all, so her time on loving. So, they should, until the city started, once the city started, that's when she pretty much loved the experience on the city. She hated the fact that everyone gave Morgan Fairchild a hard shake, which is a shame, because Morgan Fairchild was a very sweet woman. And she's such a great actress. I mean, come on. Yes, she's campy, but that's how she is. You know, like, whenever you're, whenever you're going to bring on Morgan Fairchild, you know, she's going to be like a sex bomb campy, vixen, or whatever. And you know, exactly, you know, it's just, that's the way she is. And she was perfect for daytime. And so, she's been like that for years, Matthew, especially in the 90s. Something go road, you know, search for tomorrow. But didn't I hear a rumor that she's supposedly coming back to daytime, the Golden Beautiful? What's up? Morgan Fairchild was on search for tomorrow. Yes, she was. Back in the day. Yeah, back in the day. Yeah, she was killed off. She was thrown through a window, if I believe. Didn't I hear a rumor that Morgan Fairchild is actually returning to daytime in the Golden Beautiful? Yes, I think it is. I don't know if those things aired yet. I thought they did. Did they? I don't know if they did or not. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think, I don't think so yet. I think she might be maybe an audience, I think. Who is she coming on? She's like a fashion expert, isn't she? She's supposed to be like a fashion type mobile. Yeah, I think so. What knew? Okay. Well, it is the Golden Beautiful, I think, that you're so funny. He played that way in fashion. Yeah, she played that way in fashion. Uh, that, uh, the funk, uh, yeah, that the funk, uh, uh, my network telling the Bella. Yeah, yeah. Which was fun, you know, it was fun. It's here. You know, bo, bo, bo, bo, bo, Derek, that's what I'm talking about. I almost said, so pretty, so Derek, it's fun to see these two guys and each other. Because she can't, she can't. And we love it. And that's what we love for her. Let's see what you're saying. That's why most people love Martin Bertram. Yes. She, she can play in a more campy world, like I said, a more playing campy world, and then play the big thing when she wants to be the sex events and the powerful mogul. I mean, who would not love him? I love Martin Bertram. I love Martin Bertram. She's one of my, she's one of my favorites. I have two minutes. She's one of my favorites. So, I've never said that to anybody before. All of you listening right now, not the first. So, wait, Navell, you know, honestly, the things that you do for the show, I'm pretty sure you can make it happen. Yes, Navell. You are putting a lot on my plane, aren't you? Excuse me. If somebody, who can get Eric Braden on the show, come on now. Well, that's what we can't do. That's not my doing, though. I have to admit, more and more of the public's hand in that than mine, but so I have to give credit where credit is due. So, okay. Absolutely. Just saying. So, it could happen. You can never say never in this business. That's all I will say. Exactly. Absolutely. No, you gotta say never in this business. It's true. So, we are still, actually, you know, we will be joined, hopefully, by our guests have the comments you guys are still joining us. And if you still want to call in, maybe join in this lovely soap opera chat slash campfield chat that we have. Yeah, yeah. We're going to be joined by her in about 10 minutes. Yeah, of course, if you love Morgan Fairchild and you want to, you know, talk about getting Morgan Fairchild on the show, it can know her if you are Morgan Fairchild, call into the show. That's kidding. But the number you're going to call in is 646-595-4228. And then press 1 if you want to talk to us. Like, if you want to be lying on there, I'll tell you what I hear. I'll tell you what I hear. Otherwise, listen to the show. Tony, it's like you're a third co-host. I love it. It's awesome. Thank you. Because you've been, you've been with us for so long that you, you know, you know, you know, you know. Yeah, so long. You know about this, and I'm like, what are you talking, you're sending like an Emmy speech. I'm just saying. Yeah, you do. You sound like an Emmy speech. That's what it is. Are you like giving him like, me? Are you talking to me? Yes, you. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're not talking, no, we're not. No, Emmys, no Emmys. I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah. Now, if I'm a stick in the middle of that view, I'll tip it on, Henry Tom. You know that, you know, that she's been nominated 12 times for different Emmys. She's been known today for 12 Emmys under the age of 35, which is the record. Wow. Yeah. Which is the record for data Emmys. I mean, she's been nominated nine times in one category, 12 overall. I mean, it's like, she's like getting the record books. I mean, third best and only. And I think, if I'm not mistaken that she and her brother, David, if I'm not mistaken, it's the first brother and sister sibling to be on the same show for two different networks. They were on young adults together and then on one like to live. Yes. I don't know. What about Donnie and Marie Osman? I don't know. Well, I'm not talking about television. I'm talking about daytime television. Daytime, of course. Of course. Daytime television. Sorry. Daytime television. But yeah, that's interesting. That is true though. That is true. I mean, especially that whole family is in the business. I mean, because Heather's doing her thing, David's doing his thing. And of course, Lauren Tom did her thing. She was on the nanny. I was acting so yeah. Which is far. Which is very long time. I think I didn't mean Nicole Tom. Yeah, Nicole Tom. Lauren Tom is the Asian actress who does lots of voiceovers and some King of the Hill. Yeah, she's like men. Yeah, she voice men on kin and nails. That's right. Yes. And why? I thought the nanny and the young wrestlers was very astute, please. I mean, it was kind of a funny with all the Y&R stuff that was going on on the nanny. They had the one episode where they went to the Y&R set. You had, even before that, you had Eric Brayden make a guest appearance. That's brilliant. Emily Thomas Scott. I think Melan Thomas Scott also wants to net to show as well. See, by the way. There's actually a YouTube clip you can watch when they visit the Y&R set. And I think it's either dubbed in French or Spanish. It's hilarious. He's probably that way because he doesn't understand what they're saying. Yeah, it's true. Well, I do understand whenever the the actress, the voiceover, dubbing actress, is playing, who plays Fran Drescher, says, "Cap from Chancellor." I know what she's talking about. Said, look, there's Cap from Chancellor. I think that's what she was saying. Yeah, that'd be a Gene Cooper play at the time. Yeah, I think Gene Cooper was on the show at the time. Still is. All right, here's my question. That was a nice segue since you brought up Gene Cooper. What do you think of the storyline that's going on right now as far as Kane not being the real Philip Chancellor? Philip Chancellor actually still being alive. You know, that whole good bit. I'm hearing a lot of skepticism on this front. Like a lot of people are enjoying it, but a lot of people are now starting to be not feeling it. It seems like it's now starting to take a nose dive. I'll tell you guys in the end on that after you enter. Oh, well, well, uh, I've not much, well, I pretty much have much to stay on that. Look at my heart, I agree, I'm waiting for it to pick up. It can kind of, you know, it's like, okay, they're together, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah I agree, I totally agree with you because now they sort of kind of, the past two weeks, it's sort of kind of been dropped, you know, I'm not dropped, but you know what I mean? It's sort of taken a back road to all this drama with Mary Jane Benson and Patty Williams and all that stuff. That's just my opinion though. But you know, actually about, since you're speaking of, you know, favorite Heather Tomlums on Y&R, I was actually a huge fan of Victoria in Christo St John. You know, I mean, you know, yeah, it surprised me that a lot of people like that cousin, but I like them together. They didn't want to go through with it because of the fact that it was an interracial relationship. And if I remember correctly, there was a scene between Neil and Victor where Neil sort of confronts him and is like, do you not want me seeing like seeing your daughter because, you know, because I'm African American. You know, I remember seeing that, just seeing like that is so awesome because that is so much conflict right there. And it does show, it shows Victor's character of, Victor's character. And in general, how he feels with his family and how he feels with the people in general, which I can't wait to see how he finds out about his son being gay. And how's he gonna, how's he going to react to it? Because that's what it seems like everybody, you know, is sort of like, oh, how's Victor going to find out? How's he going to feel about this? He's going to find out, hopefully. Yeah, I agree. It's going to be very difficult in the state of the least when you have to tell that you're only soon as gay. I mean, come on. I mean, this has to be trouble. I mean, that's like, this is going to be big kind, kind of, weren't open up flow. First of all, I'm, and this is me, this is my opinion. I'm going to sound like Caroline Hinton in about a minute, but I'm not Caroline Hinton, I swear. Please go on to the seats, though. Yeah, but, you know, it's interesting to see how that storyline will play out, but it's like you're also sitting there and going like, but he's not gay. He's not gay. He's just having sex with a guy just to shut him up. That's it. Because as soon as he gets his way, he's just going to dump rape anyway because he never really wanted to do it with rape to begin with. That's all it is. He's just having sex with a kid, what he wants. And, apart of me is like, that's good storytelling, but the other part is like, it's like, it's kind of, it's kind of raunchy. But you know what, though? I think that it's definitely a good storyline because you expect them to be a couple. You, you know, you have Luca Noah, you have that new one like to live a couple, and I can't, you know, think about their dangers. But we always expect if they have chemistry or if they work together, that they're going to be a couple. And I think that, yeah, make him greedy. I mean, there are people, there are bisexuals out there. Maybe he is bisexual. Maybe he wants Heather. Maybe he wants rape at the same time. Make him greedy. You know, that's, I think that's great storytelling. And if anybody's going to do it, it's going to be the younger rest. And that's, that's, you had all my children with Bianca and all of her loves. So it's like, why not break the rules? And if we're trying to reinvigorate and reinvent daytime, let's do it by making him something that we've never seen. There's really been a bisexual in the show. I could be wrong, but I agree with you, Navell. It's a great storyline. And it's raunchy. Let's see it. Go for it. Tom C, go for it. Wait a minute. We'll see. I, you know, another thing that, that's going on right now is, what do you think is this big shopping thing that's going to culminate next month? You know, everybody is hedging their best as to someone's going to get killed off, someone's going to get killed. Heather, I think it's Heather. That's my opinion. Well, what has I hoped for that? I don't think it's going to happen. Just my, just, just, yeah. I don't, I don't know. I would, I would like it to be Heather, because I really don't like that sanctimonious witch, but. I might really love Heather. I love Heather. You know, so once you talk about probably my bail boom, all right? Yes, well, I mean, I love her. I'm, I really don't like, I don't like character Heather. I don't. She's too, she's too sanctimonious. You can't have a character that is that sanctimonious. You have to have some kind of flaw. And she has none. She has to be, she's so snobby with her nose stuck up in the air and literally nothing wrong with her. I, I cannot stand that kind of a character on the show. That, that's not just hers. That's anybody that'll play that kind of a character. I will not, I don't like those kind of characters. Those characters have to have some kind of flaw, because you can only be nice for so freaking long. Who do we think of you and babe? Okay, so my bed is, I think that it wouldn't, it couldn't be Victoria, could it? I mean, I don't know. I mean, it's so, if you think, we can just, we can totally just talk with us for hours. I swear on who it's going to be, but the way I really hope so, it is somebody big just because please don't do a, you know, oh, it's a really big character. No, it's a dog. You know, link to all of one of the dogs. You know, I mean, come on, please don't, please don't do it. If you're going to say it's a big character, you can make it a big character. Go with your word. That's all I feel. So I mean, if they, if they stick to the word, then I, I can't wait to see who it's going to be. I don't, I don't know who it's going to be, and I cannot wait, and I want to be surprised. I don't want to read any spoilers. I can't wait. Hey. Who do you guys think? Who do you guys think? I was about to answer that too. I, you know, some are saying it could be summer, some could be sitting in toilets, some could say it's Mickey. You know, Michelle Stafford did re-sign with the show, so they couldn't figure out. And Emily Thomas has also re-signed also with, uh, why not, but she's going to be taking some time off, obviously. And then both of them are going to be taking time off. Some are saying it could be Colleen. Sure, we heard this. Honestly, I don't want Colleen gone. I just want to roll overcast. That's it. No, I think, if I pick out on odds, I think, yeah, I think, uh, yeah, it should be. Yeah, whatever. Emily, whatever. Get her out! She meets, she's like, stop, I'm only going to come on. See if this is a pain in the, you know what, sometimes, you know? What am I saying? I want her. She and Heather are too. I want out. See ya. I would have, I would have said, Jenna, if they didn't decide to do the epitome of a subcliche and give her a brain tumor and change her whole personality and outlook, I would have said it then. I'm not going to say it now, but if they keep up with this chip month story, I'm going to say the whole scooty-doo gang needs to be out. Yeah, it could be Daniel. It could be, you know, I don't know. This is what, so do you, these writers are doing this? They're actually making us think and writing, you know, racking our brains. And that's what you should be doing for daytime. And that's what, you know, people, just like, I'm going to bring up again, you know, if all you do stands out there, whenever they started killing people off and you're thinking, who's it going to be? And people were taking bets and people were, you know, trying to guess who's going to be next. It made us think, it made us want to watch, it made us want to tune in. I mean, that's what you love about daytime. And that's why I'm glad you're doing it, so why not? So I'm glad why not I was doing it. It's great. It's really good whenever you can have a bunch of people, you know, talk about the buzz of a show like this, so I'm happy. You know, I actually, I actually thought of this too, and it was, it was eerie because we just finally saw them and they've not been on their screens for so long. Whatever happened to Jeffrey in Gloho? Um, the last time we saw them, I think it was last week, and they were trying to set up calling. Yes, it's always thought that's, you know, that was the last time we saw them in a matter of how long. Well, I mean, you don't have to see them all the time. There's so, how many characters around that show? That's like 30? I don't know, 20-something? What if it's Esther? I mean, come on. I mean, like, what if it's, you don't know, I guess what, but find out. Kind of reaching there, aren't you? It could, it could be Esther when it just like, you know, seriously, Esther's a big part of the show. No, she is. She's not that big now. I mean, she, I mean, she is now, but she's not that big enough to cause the big of an uproar for her. You know, I love Esther, but come on. I gotta get serious. Well, I would be, you know what, Esther to me is like when they killed off Darla on the bull and the beautiful. That's how I felt. Because, you know, Esther's quirky, so was Darla, and she was. You know, they both, they both were back characters, and then they were sidekicks, and then they were given big story plots. Like, Esther was given the Chloe story plot, and Darla was given the thorn plot, and it could happen, you know? By the way, she, Harrison, where is she? Come on, come back to daytime, please. Go to Y&R. They recycle all the time. Please go to Y&R. I love Darla. Come on. Just saying. We're jumping, I love, we're jumping all over the place. I was a Darla fan. I'll admit, I was a Darla fan. He was a huge Darla fan. You know, I'm a huge specter fan in general, so. Seriously, being, being, yeah, being Sally Specter's sidekick all those years, I mean, why not? I mean, if she was quirky, she had, but she was kind of smart, too. You know, if she does have to, you didn't have some light, you know? That's true. It's definitely true. I think the only weird thing that I found kind of weird that they did with Darla was the thorn pairing, because it's sort of betrayed Macy. And I'm a huge, people always say like, they're always, either you hate Macy or you love Macy, and I love Macy, and I just felt like that was her best friend. They weren't really good friends. I mean, not as good as friends as Sally was with Darla, but that was, you know? And I know that the whole life, oh, I forgive you, and before Macy gets you, I'm so happy to work together. And yeah, maybe life does work out that way, where your best friend can be. But it's like I think that Darla's character shoots would be like, you know, I couldn't do this with Sally. I couldn't do this for the spectra because she sort of knew how the legacy that thorn and Macy were. That's all. I just really, that was the one thing I didn't like about Darla, was when she was with Thorn. Yeah. Yeah, that was, yeah, definitely. Some people would love that. People like that, you know, I saw, I went on boards a couple of people and they went out. They made, you know, they made a little, what do you call that, a crush name for that? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Darla or... Did they wouldn't, you know, just have them on for the sake of being, for the sake of plot. I mean, yeah, I made a lot of plot, but it just broke my heart, especially when they told us Macy the way they did it for the second time. But, you know what, Bobby eats is in a really good place. She's really happy with all my children, so good for her. First of all, that's like, that's like to me, like, if they were to recast Macy, I mean, the way you feel about Heather Tom as Victoria is the way I feel about Bobby Eakes's Macy. There's no way I could have replied. There's nobody that can play that role as good as Bobby Eakes, I'm sorry. I mean, you can't, and you just like putting, it's like putting someone in Macy's, like putting stuff, like putting a bad pair of shoes, like putting a bad pair of shoes on a dress shoes and a bad suit. I mean, you pretty much have described how I feel about the world term. I mean, you really do. I mean, honestly, I just cannot see Tricia Alden as Lily. I can't, because that's all I see is Tricia Alden. So, well, back, I love her and everything, but I just, she's not Lily to me. She is not Lily. Oh, my God. She's marked the burns only Lily, marked the burns like, marked the burns Lily. That's all there is to it. Yeah. I love the world. She's a pretty good actress. I respect her as an actress and everything. She's watching today in the previews for tomorrow. She has really, you know, well, Beck, you have to admit though, has really good chemistry with whoever she is on screen with. And especially, I mean, I saw the, she is really good chemistry with Damian in tomorrow's episode. We will see that. And I just, I sort of, it was sort of weird. Like, I sort of accepted her in the role. I don't know. And that's all I, that's all I said, you guys and totally disagree with me. But yeah, I accepted her in that role. After seeing the chemistry she had with Damian, I was just like, okay, she's kind of Lily. She's being, she's being Lily. But I will say it's even worse. I, yeah, my opinion is really going to kill your hers right now. I, I just feel like Wednesday put her in this role. Now they can have them explore other options outside of the Lily holding romance as in, yeah, let's put her with Damian now since it's not marked the burn. Otherwise, Martha Byrne was still there. I had the feeling that they would still have kept Lily holding together, which I'm sure a lot of people would have liked. I don't think a lot of people liked holding in Carly. I think, and I think a lot of people liked holding in Carly because Martha Byrne was gone. I think they still liked holding in Carly when Noel Beck came in. Again, this is my opinion. That's just how I'm seeing it. So again, this is how I'm looking at it. But I just think that, you know, with, with Noel playing the role of Lily right now, they can give her this ample opportunity to put her with Damian again. I just felt like the original Lily and Damian was the best. I loved Lily and Damian when Martha Byrne was there. They were hot. Paolo Siganti and Martha Byrne were sizzling together. I would not say they were sizzling more than John Hemsley and Martha Byrne, but they were, but Paolo and Martha were up there. They really were. They really ruined that, too. After he left in '96 and he made those returns, they really ruined what could have been potential. It just seemed like they did not know where to go with the character of Damian when John Hemsley was alive and everything like that. I think now, let's look at it this way. I think if Martha Byrne was still there and we're going to go ahead and go with this, with Martha in the part in Damian, Lily and Damian read up 2.0. Would I accept it? I think I would. I really do think I would accept it. Okay. Let's go. Next, you do remember a good point about why this is my view and why there will never be, you know, why Holden and Carley never worked, was because of the Car Jack fans. Come on. Those Car Jack fans are so, they love Carley and Jack together. And I'm sure that I haven't heard any Car Jack fans, like, professing Jack and Carley to get back together like they have in recent years. I mean, I haven't heard anything about it. I mean, again, words that date me from most people, and that's just worth nowadays, but, you know, I haven't really heard any regards into wanting Jack and Carley back together. But I know that a lot of people, a lot of people, wanted Jack and Carley together, especially when Julia number 2 was on the show. When Sarah Brown played the part, they were vicious with her. I mean, the fans were vicious to this woman. I mean, guys, comment on, it's a soap opera. She's just playing a part. I mean, you're giving her death threats in male, in the fan mail. I mean, hello, what's your problem? I'm like, hello, guys. I always say hello, people. It's a soap opera, okay? It's not real life, I think. Okay? I mean, why do you want to send out threatening, you know what I'm saying, these death threats for a character, come on. Get over yourself, people. And I agree. I mean, I love the fact that fans are invested in a show and they're like invested in what's going on on television screen, but oh, my freaking God. You know, it just brings them on exactly how vicious they really can be to these people. It escapes me. It really, it really does. Too bad to me. I shouldn't ask my daughter. You know, you got to make me want to put my foot in my mouth, but I can't do it. But, you know, the same fans, I wish there will be. We never had a guy in my chat with each other. I wish this, not some death threats to CBS, but, you know, maybe there's something that could have been more done than people could have been to not to CBS, but too much to win. A guy who was getting dropped from their affiliates is very, they could have wrote their affiliates like me letters or I want my guy to like back or something, you know, but like, it is what I'm not to say that he said, I hate that there were people say that, but I don't know. You know what I mean? You see what I'm saying? Like that, the way that they were invested with the card deck fans and then have a huge singularity, well, maybe in case that you're, that our favorite shows thing up here and a lot of people have. I mean, Tracy Snelzer getting propped out to her for what she did for the save the guiding light campaign. And yeah, I mean, just wish that there would have been even more of a buzz than there already was. There was a huge buzz, but I wish there would have been more of a buzz. Yeah. Yeah, you know, speaking of guiding lighting, you guys are watching GL lately. Really? The last couple of weeks, I am in the last couple of weeks, but last time I watched show when Jeffrey died. Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's sad. I think it's really sad because you know it's going to come to an end. And I think it's kind of hard to watch because like, I don't know how, there's how I went to end, but it's just things like, it's so hard to watch the show that you know is going to end. Like, watch that invested in this whenever it's just going to end. Like, I would definitely watch the last week of cutting light, no matter what, I will always watch it. I'm always, you know, they're the power of your fans and all that. Like, how are they going to end that? I'm interested in seeing that, especially with Diner, which is that I'm going to go crazy at the end of it. I mean, there's so much that you could, so much history that you really could end with. And of course, is the show going to end with Weaver and Josh? That's how I, like I said, I always said, if they were going to cancel the show, the ones seen, I have in mind, that could have worked, which they did a couple of years ago. Was whenever they ripped up the divorce papers, you know, and threw them, they were at the lighthouse and threw the divorce papers and just, you know, and they were just like, we love each other. And I think that that's how it can end, maybe with a Josh and Weaver wedding. I don't know, but it's sad to see it go. It's so sad. Yeah, I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm going to wrap up, I think they're going to wrap up production late next month. Their last tape date is the 14th of August. Wow. Wow. You know what? I might shed it here. I swear. It's true. What about you though? Are you going to cry? Highly valuable. Highly valuable. Yeah. I'm kind of, I'm being honest, it's highly doubtful you will see me cry. I'm upset that it's ending, but if you're going to see me cry, it's going to be highly unlikely. Too funny. But hey, if you guys still want to get in on all this fun, we are definitely just, you know, addition to other serves, addition to update time. CBS and ABC, of course, don't forget NBC to still have days. You can actually use it by calling in 646-595-4228. I'm sure there's people in chat room and have the time. She'll be coming on. When she's supposed to be on whenever she, whenever she never gets free. Exactly. I want to quickly go back to the Ask the World Turns casting note. Do you know, did you know that they added some external hospital stuff and export Charles Stars lately? Oh, look at that. I mean, I swear I've been in that. Yes, go ahead. I think that I'm pretty, I'm pretty certain that within the next few weeks, if not into the middle of next month, we're going to be reading that Jackie's even has time to contact Ask the World Turns. I swear we're going to be seeing something like that. Where are all these people coming from? I mean, there's all these people coming out of the woodwork about this. Yeah. Excuse me. Yeah, we got Marie Wilson, who was on Port Charles. She was on it. She played Karen on Port Charles. She's on a show. Then John Lynch would join the show. And then now Lynn Haren's going to join the show next month. And now I read just a couple of these. Let's do it. I mean, and it's going to join the cat player this year. I do have to say, I am excited because I love Lynn Haren. I think Lynn Haren is an amazing actress. I'm hoping for something just because I love, you know, Lucy, some Lucy scenes. Let's see her paired up with John again. I'm just saying, pair them up. Do something. Because it's like having, just like in general hospital, when Mary Beth Evans was on the show. And of course, who else was on? You know what I'm talking about? And who else was on? The one person from Days of Our Lies who fans fell in love with. Steven Nichols, he plays Starbles at the time. And she was playing Cameron at the time. And yeah, they did get paired up at a certain time during that turn around GH. But they quickly broke him up for some reason because they probably didn't click with the audience or something. I don't know what it was. But I did. I heard that they didn't. A lot of people didn't think that those characters were messed up. I think it was the same reaction when they paired up Alexis and Cameron when Lynn Davies was on general hospital. They tried to do the Mason and Julia kind of redoxed on GH. It didn't work. It didn't work. It didn't work. It did not work at all. Forget it. You know, you're trying to pair up people that you watched on the same self. And then the next thing, you go on to a different self and then you come on the same self. They tried to pair them up. And you try to create the same match you get on the first self. It's only to find out the self, but it's only to find out that the chemistry doesn't work on that particular self. You know what I mean? It doesn't happen. It really does. Well, that's... Now that you said that, that brings up another point. That's like Sunny and Carly version 1.0 now being made over again, but this time that Sunny and Claudia, aka Carly number one, redoxed romance. What's that about? I mean, come on. You want Sunny to basically have a thing with Claudia because of what? She's the first actress to portray Carly and that Carly and Sunny had a thing and a lot of people enjoyed that romance. They're going to enjoy the second go around. Honestly, I thought I was. I really thought I was going to get into Sunny and Claudia because it was like Sunny and Carly version 1.0 over again. You know, Sunny and Carly, Sunny and Carly, revisit it. Sunny and Carly point 1.0, like you mentioned. Sunny with Carly's 4.0. That too. And I got into it and then I was like... Yeah, I'm not feeling it. I'm not feeling it. But then again, there's a lot about General Hospital right now. I'm not feeling it. But yeah, I can't say anything else about what's going on in General Hospital because everybody's feeling each other. Everybody's going to, it's like General Hospital. They're just switching to, okay, I'm going to answer all times. [laughter] Seriously. Can you watch General Hospital? They're just going to be on those whole times. I did want to also mention some of the daily lives news. It was broken in the day. It's on the upper digest. Lindsay Hartley apparently is coming back to date on television on today's our lives. Yeah. Yeah. Again. Again. You know what? Come on. You know why she's doing it. You know why she's there. Blinds are there. Well, obviously she wants a job. But that's really cool because she's an actress and I respect that. But also because her passions co-star. Sorry. Eric Marstoff. Yeah. Eric Marstoff. Thank you. Who played Ethan on Passions is playing, writing on days of our lives. Yes. So it's like, hey. Well, so here we go with Ethan and Teresa. So we do. Come on. I'm going to see it. We're probably going to see it. But she is the-- Her long-screen brother. She's the recast on the show. Felicia Terrell hasn't let go. And Lindsay Hartley is taking over the part of Ariana, so... Hey, why not? She wants to work tomorrow, so... Her first date is tomorrow, so... So that means we will see Ethan Hart sometime in September. Or early... Like August or December. And isn't the actor who played Lindsay's on-screen brother on Passions? Isn't he on days still? Uh, Gailin Garing, it's still on... Yep, Gailin Garing. There you go. It's like a passion for you. Unfortunately, it's going to be hard to get Eva to Margarot because she's on the telenovela El Sabre. She's on that one, so it might be a little hard to get the whole passion reading going on there. I don't know. It might be hard. But just try to get the whole family. [laughs] Why is she really wanting to hear... If you want to read a good interview with Gailin Garing, read this as a report. Nelson Braco did an interview with Gailin Garing a couple of weeks ago. There's a lot of things you're saying about passions and James Riley. That's really interesting. Very truthful, I have to let you know. I agree with everything you had to say about passions and James Riley as well. And you both mentioned some of the things he said, because I'm very intrigued. No, you have to go read it. Okay. I see how it is. You're like a days' relage writer. We have to go and, you know, stay tuned tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you, Noel. I'm doing my job. I'm going to basically refer you to read it. That's how it works. Why is he not going to do a soap opera digest, like spoiler alert here, and just, you know, download off or dig a website now? Okay. I see how it is. You all know where to find Nelson Braco on Facebook. You can even type out the social support in your Yahoo Google. Find it that way. We need to get him on the show. Let's, we should start eating him on the show. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. Can you imagine Nelson Braco in the show? Oh, my God. I know in person, but God. That would be interesting. I will put it that way. I think that that would be fun. That's my, that's my view. It would be like a soap opera review, seriously. I bring up this show a lot, because I like to think that-- No, no. Can you alive? Is my answer to that? Well, you know what? No. No. No. Yeah, you will. I have a valid opinion. I love my soap. I've been watching my soap as long as you have no doubt. No. I bring up valid points. I'm, I'm warning you. He will. Can you alive? That's how he is. Why? I know him. I know him. That's how he operates. He was getting alive. Well, you know what? I, you guys like to listen to this? Let's have this conversation. Let's get him on the show. We are Facebook friends. So, I'm actually going to extend it. Let's just bring the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was bringing the button. I was listening. I was listening. I was listening. Let's come on the show. I can't tell you what error, but I know it won't. All right. Oh, well, you know what? I guess it won't. I'm pretty good at it. Okay. This is fucking a little too funny. Yeah. Cracking me up. So, yeah. So, if you guys are still listening. Did you guys hear? Like, I don't know if you heard last night. Just wanted to recap. We actually had an interview last night with an after-coming rapper. Freestyle. Check out that show in the archive because we had so much fun. And you see where I wrote on your Facebook today? I did. I did. How funny is that? Seriously. If you guys weren't listening, we were discussing hit pops with a guest. And I said my two favorite hit pop songs, which they are, is, you know, ODB got some money and pre-colleague, but it could be Pablo. Lo and behold, I put on the radio this morning and what do I hear? ODB. I was cracking up. I was just like, this is funny. This is like set in the stars or something. It was just too coincidental and I had to, like, Facebook and Vell right away. It was funny. Yeah. No, no, no. If you would have heard freak late or something, that would be hilarious. I probably would have never made a connection. Did you actually, I don't know, you heard the single. What did you think of the single of freestyle single? Yes. You have to repeat that because that British woman was, like, speaking in my ear right now. And, like, basically muffled everything you said. No, I just meant that you actually, you heard freestyle single. And I'm wondering, what did you think of it? Oh, I liked it. I was listening to a lot, I put it on the air and it was just, it was a, I think you can be going places. Seriously. It was very catchy. It was all in my opinion, but yeah. So, but we've got to wrap things up here because our hour has come to an end and plus we have to hit another show right now, which I will be going to in a matter of few minutes. Hey, I'm Burrill's show, check it out, 26 minutes of quality entertainment or your money back. Is there, is there sogan? But, we will have a comment. I did get in touch with them while we were talking. So, we are actually talking about setting her up again. Something came up. So, while we were on the phone here, we were emailing back and forth. So, yeah, took care of business. But, we are back here in the morning, 11 a.m., get some sleep everybody. There you go. You have to get out of bed by 10, 4, 5. So, I'm on the slide and going down to the top and to your blog side. We're going to be on Chris Harrison tomorrow morning, 11 a.m. Eastern time, 8 a.m. Pacific. So, join us for that for our first show on Thursday. And, we'll have our second show at 3 p.m. with Evan Alex Cole from Out of the World Turns. So, from all of us here at Buzzworthy, Novell Jaylee sent it off. Thank you, Charlie, for calling in. Making sure you guys get the latest Buzzworthy with Buzzworthy. See you guys tomorrow. Take care. All right. Good night, everybody. [ Silence ]
Discussion on all things soaps!
