Deana Martin is an influential American singer, actor and performer and the very proud daughter of iconic entertainer, Dean Martin.
She achieved success early in her career through films, theater and television, then quickly added to her repertoire recording artist, best-selling author, nationally syndicated radio host, licensed pilot, and business entrepreneur.
In 2004, she embarked on a global book expedition with her best-selling memoir "Memories Are Made Of This, Dean Martin Through His Daughter's Eyes."
In 2005, after she completed her sold-out "Deana Sings Dino" international concert tour, she was eager to return to the studio and record a new album. In 2006, she released "Memories Are Made Of This," her top-selling CD of Standards and Jazz. It remained on the Top 10 charts for over 40 weeks. She then launched her phenomenally successful "Memories Are Made Of This" worldwide concert tour.
2007 found Deana at Capitol Studios, in Hollywood, California, working on her next album. In the summer of 2009, she released her newest CD "Volare." While still in pre-release, "Volare" entered the Top 100 music and radio charts. She loved working at Capitol Studios where she collaborated on this project with legendary multi-Grammy Award-winning engineer Al Schmitt and her producer John Griffeth.
Following the release of her new album, she will embark on the intercontinental "Volare Concert Tour."
Deana's desire to continue her father's legacy and support of children's charitable causes led to her being the driving force behind the annual Dean Martin Festival. All proceeds from this event fund the Dean Martin Music Scholarships.
Ms. Martin proudly announced that her book, "Memories Are Made Of This, Dean Martin Through His Daughter's Eyes" is being made into a movie, directed by actor Joe Mantegna with screenplay written by actor/writer/television host Bonnie Hunt.
Deana and her husband John Griffeth divide their time between Beverly Hills, CA and Branson, MO.

Yo, yo, yo, this is Blake Lewis, you're listening to buzz rate, rate, rate, rate, rate, radio. Buzz, buzz, what were the radio? Hi, everybody. Welcome to a new edition of a buzzworthy radio. I'm your host, Nevelle Daley. Coming to you this Monday night, July 20, 2009. It is about 10 to 10 p.m. Eastertime, 7 p.m. Pacific Coast time here on welltalkradio.com. We're going to be joined by a very, very special guest tonight. Deanna Martin, the daughter of Dee Martin, is going to be joining us today. We're going to have a lovely time talking with her on tonight's program. She's going to be calling in about three minutes or so, so we're going to be joined by her very, very shortly. Some tidbits I wanted to give you on a couple of upcoming shows that we're going to have this week. On Thursday, we're going to have two back-to-back shows. Actually, not back-to-back, but they're going to be two shows in the same day. Our first show is going to be on an 11 a.m. Eastern, 8 a.m. Pacific Coast time with Chris Harrison. We finally got that rescheduled, so he is going to be joining us this Thursday at 8 a.m. Pacific Coast time 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, so make sure you guys check that out. He is the host of the Bachelor and the Bachelor Red on ABC, as well as Designers Challenge on HDTV and Hollywood 411 on the TV Guide Channel. Tonight, they just had on the Bachelor's, the Mento, all special on ABC, so we're going to delve into a little bit into exactly what were these bachelor's thinking and exactly what was the deal about West. I got to find out more about this character because sure enough, he seems like the reality type show villain that you just love to hate, but it does seem like everyone hated him. They just hated date him, so I got to find out more about this cat. Also, on Thursday, this coming Thursday, we're going to have on Alex Cole from As the World Turns. He plays the role of Hunter on the show. He will be joining us at 3 p.m. Eastern Time, 12 noon Pacific, so make sure you guys check out for that show, as well. So we're going to have two shows on Thursday. We've got a few things in the work that are coming out right now that I cannot mention yet until I get confirmation on. So I'm going to hold off on that one a little bit, keep it on the down low for a little bit, but right now, let's get to the guest at hand. Please welcome Deanna Martin. How are you? I am very, very good. Thank you, but I'm Deanna Martin, Dean with an A. Deanna Martin. Oh, wow. Like, Deano? Deano, Deanna? Let's fix that. Let me rewind. Let me rewind the tape. Okay. That's okay. Welcome Deanna Martin. There we go. How are you again? I am excellent. Thank you very much. Thank you so much for joining us tonight. It's a pleasure to have you here. Thank you. It is my pleasure. You know, I've heard a lot about you guys. You did? All good. I hope all good. Of course. Okay, good. That's great. And I heard a lot about your CD, too, that it definitely is a lot to talk about right now. I mean, with it hitting the billboard charts at 22 and at number 10 on the heat figures charts, and that had to be like an enormous feeling. When you heard that, what was your first reaction? Oh my gosh. I was so excited. I can't tell you. It was everything that I hoped for. And more. First of all, I adore all the songs on the album, but it is an independent label. It's ours. We've put so many hours of work into this, and choosing the songs and all the musicians, and the whole thing. From beginning to end, it's our baby. So for it to hit the charts right away in the first week, it was like, we're over the moon. It was a lot of hard work, you know, and so it's paying off. So now I just need a lot more people to buy it. Yeah, it is paying off. All hard work does pay off, and it does show. I got to listen to it today. Oh my God. I love Valarino. That's my contract. Oh, is it really? You know, it's so hard, it's so hard for me to pick a favorite, because all of the songs have different meanings, you know, for me, of course. I mean, there's memories attached to everything. But when I think about Valaré, of course, it was one of my dad's best songs. It was always one of my favorite songs that he sang, and it does mean to fly in Italian. And I'm a pilot. So there's a... Yes, there was a lot going on. Now, when you got the CD, did you get the liner notes? If you open up the liner notes, it's in the little pocket there. You pull out the liner notes and you'll see a picture of me standing in front of our plane. And it has Valaré written on the plane, and it means to fly, so I had to do this song. Yeah, absolutely. It does pay homage to the late great Dean Martin. I mean, I'm a huge fan of his. I know a lot of people who I talk to you in this century love Dean Martin, but from you personally, who was Dean Martin? Who was he? Who was he? Oh, you know what? Here's the thing with Dean Martin or dad. He was exactly what you saw on TV. He was funny. He was handsome. He was cool. Definitely the king of cool. He was fun to be around. He was so funny. You could see his sense of humor when he was on the TV show, but that's exactly how he was at home. And he was, as I say, fun to be around, but he worked hard and he would get up if he wasn't going to do a movie or going to record. He would get up in the morning bright and early and go play golf. He loved to play golf. He was very golf. He was very healthy and worked out, had a rowing machine in his dressing room. And I have to tell you, he looked fantastic. He was the sweetest guy in the world. Probably the most beautiful voice I've ever heard, ever, ever. When I think about the way he sings, when I hear him, I hear the smile on his face. When he is singing. And it just makes you smile. And that's what he did for me. And that's really Dean Martin. And if you're asking me that question, and I'll tell you a little something about him that was so, so cute, just reminded me when I'm thinking about him being healthy and all of that. He taught me to take my bread and pull the inside of the bread out and just eat the crust. And he said, "You'll never get fat." He said, "You'll never get fat if you just eat the crust." And so I don't know why that just came into my head. I know. And to this day, I always pulled the crust out of the bread. And thank God, touch God. I haven't gotten fat yet. But that was just something that we said, something you said, all of a sudden, just reminded me of that. I know it's silly. I don't think it's silly. I think it's great to have those kind of like those special moments to have that you pop into your head like every now and again. And you know, I think it's great, but it's something that I just asked, like, trigger that kind of a memory. I know. And now it'll keep you thin. Well, I don't know. I need to stay thin. I mean, I'm thin now. I like to stay thin. Are you going to get a little? Yes. Well, yeah, because you know what it keeps. The pounds just seem to sneak on when you least expect it. Yeah. That's the thing that I like to call in the tablet and that's going to start diminishing very, very soon. Yeah. Well, so the best thing to do is get up, have a healthy breakfast and exercise and then go about your day and eat, don't eat any fried foods. So you didn't know this was going to turn into this kind of interview. If I knew we were going to talk about food, I would have different questions there because I could talk about food all day. All right. Well, that'll be a whole other interview. Oh, yeah. You have to come back for that. Oh, yeah, for sure. Well, because then we can talk about the recipe in my book and memories are made of this and it's pasta vajoule and it was my dad's favorite dish and my grandmother taught me how to make it with the secret ingredient and I was the only one of the children that she taught and I had to keep it and I wasn't able to write it down. It was a secret and I really was so happy she taught me how to make that because years later I made it for my dad and that was a connection that we had that only we had. So it was very, very nice. So we'll do that cooking show later. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. Now, speaking since you did bring up the book, memories are made of this, one of the things I saw when I was checking it out was that I've heard that you announced that this is going to be made into a movie. Yes, it is. Isn't that exciting? All of these things are happening. It's been in the works for a little while. Joe Montania, who is a fantastic actor, when he read the book, when it first came out, he called immediately and he said, "Dina, I loved it and I would love to make this into a movie." So we have been talking about that and we get closer. Every year it gets closer. Making movies in Hollywood takes a bit of time. You know, it's not a fast process. But we are now trying to figure out who could be Dean Martin and Bonnie Hunt is going to be writing the screenplay and Bonnie is fantastic. You know, Bonnie Hunt? Yes. She is an extraordinary comedian and writer and I love her TV show. She's one of the kindest people you'd ever want to meet, but she is just down to earth and wonderful but a very, very good writer. And I think that's what the book needs for a screenplay. I wrote a good book and now it needs a good screenplay. And so we're doing that. That's wonderful. I mean, that's so many wonderful things are happening all around you. With the CD hitting the charts as it did and with the book coming into a movie, that you have to be on cloud 9. I am on cloud 9 and I tell you, every day I wake up, you want to pinch yourself and say, can this actually be happening? And it really is. But I must say, it is a lot of hard work and we've been doing it for a long time and it's finally paying off. But it's not like I can settle back and say, okay, now it's going to be easy sailing from here. Now, more work is starting. Yes. So there's a lot that I want to do and as Oprah says, dream big and that's what we've been doing. Yeah, yeah. And never give up. Oh, no. You always have to follow your dreams no matter what they are. That's right. You always have to go forward with it no matter what because you have no idea where it's going to, where it's going to end up. You're like, it's true. And just by you alone, you could be like one of the biggest inspirations for anybody wanting to sing, wanting to write a memoir, wanting to fly. You know, you can just buy that alone. Just keep doing what you're doing. You know, it's interesting that you say that that I could be an inspiration to people and I have received so many letters and emails from all over the world. I have been blessed and so lucky. But people, the comments about my book have been so incredible because it has touched so many people on so many different levels. It's not just, you know, the for Dean Martin fans. It's because it's a book about a father and a daughter and what you go through in your life. And so it's not, and it's not sugar-coated. It's just my, as Jerry Lewis said, and he wrote the forward to the book. He said, it's my love story for my dad and it's true because it's my life with his. It goes through his entire life and what you go through as a family. And it has touched so many people. I'll get letters from men who are 65, 70 years old saying I couldn't put the book down and I haven't read a book in 40 years. If they say it's a page turner or I'll get a, you know, a letter from an 18 year old girl who says, this is so like my life with my father. Thank you for writing this. And it's, it's all ages. But it's just a book for everyone and it's, it's just, you know, life that we're all, we're all the same. We all have the same problems and you can get through them if you just keep your feet on the ground and see what's going on and work through it. Exactly. Exactly. Now I have, I have a chat room open and there's a chat person in there by the screen named the Paison from PSL. They, that is their screen name and they said they met you last year at the Feast of Little Italy in Jupiter, Florida. Oh my gosh. And I actually have to call her on the line right now. Would you like to talk to them? I would love to. That would be great. OK. OK. Paison, what is, what is your real name? Hey, how you doing? Hey, how you doing? Hey, the first name is Marty, the Paison from Port St. Lucie and Buzzworthy. I really appreciate you taking my call with your tremendous guest here. Dean, I had the pleasure of meeting you in Jupiter at Abacoa where you just wooed the crowd. Oh, well, thank you very much. What a great crowd it was. Also, there were like thousands of people. It was a tremendous weekend. And the book, I got you to autograph the book for me and the pictures that are in that book are just unbelievable. I'll tell you what. Oh, thank you. Me with the Beatles and with Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. How could I go wrong? And, and I'll tell you, you're, I also do a show here on Blog Talk Radio and it's guided towards the Italians. And I play your father's music on the show and the rap pack. And I do sound clips from, from Frank Sinatra and all kinds of Italian stuff. And I just got to tell you, you know, your father was such an influence on the Italian community and just generations and generations. I mean, my sons are 17 and 18 years old and they know who Dean Martin is. They know who Frank Sinatra is. Yeah, good. It's just a privilege to speak with you. And it was great seeing you out there. And, you know, it's, you have your own beautiful voice by itself. Well, thank you very much. Besides being the daughter of somebody like Dean Martin, you know, I was very lucky. But thank you so much. And tell you what, you should get the album, get to Volare, my new CD and play it on your, on your show. How can I get it? If somebody wanted to, are you on MySpace or Facebook or Amazon? Amazon, go to Amazon.com. But you can go on to DinaMartin.com. Yeah, go to my website. It's Dean with an A, DinaMartin.com. And right on that front page, you'll be able to listen to it, you know, listen to it. And you can get it and send an email to me and remind me that I spoke to you on the show. And I don't want to take up too much more of your time. But are we going to see you this morning? Actually, Marty, I can tell you, actually at this point, since you did call into the show, I want you to do me a favor, email me at the end. I have a few CDs I can give away. And you will be lucky enough to get one of those. So I will gladly send it to you. What's your email address? Let me write it down. All right, it's buzzworthyradio. Basically my show name and one word at gmail.com. Okay, great. Well, how lucky is that? Yeah, imagine that. Maybe I should go play the lotto. Yeah, yeah. You're going to have to split it three ways. I got to tell you, Dean, I tell these stupid little jokes. And I got a question for you being that you are Italian. And I'm Italian. If I ask you a question, I keep it clean. It's very clean. Okay. If you've got a gizzard and I got a gizzard, what do you got? Oh gosh, I'm afraid to ask what? I've got a gizzard each. Get off the bus. We'll see you next time. Thank you so much. Bye-bye. Oh, that was fun. How funny is that? That's wonderful. Yeah, so I was in Jupiter, Florida last year and we did a big festival outdoors. It was beautiful. So he was there. And that's great. Isn't that wonderful to hear that? Yes, it is. I can't tell you. It's such a thrill. And this is exactly why I'm in this business, why I am singing and making records and going around and doing concerts and performing for people. I hear wonderful stories about my dad and the music touches people. And it's for everyone. And it's just a wonderful life for me. That's beautiful. That's wonderful even. One of the things I also wanted to ask you in regards to the music, let's go back to that for just a second. I love having music artists on the show because I've always wanted to know exactly how they got inspired to do the music. Obviously by you, you were inspired by your father. And most of the tracks on here were inspiration from your father or were there any other special meetings behind each of the songs in the lard? Well, thank you for asking because there's a special meeting behind every song on the album and they were all hand-picked. I think it's a beautiful selection. Let's take, I've got you under my skin. Fabulous Cole Porter tune. And my uncle Frank Sinatra was the one. That was my inspiration for this. So imagine growing up with the music of Tony Bennett, Judy Garland, Rosemary Clooney, Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Rosemary Clooney. And these are all people that are in my home. They're downstairs in the living room. So I had the most incredible childhood, but these were my parents' friends. And I would listen to their songs and if you could hear Rosemary Clooney singing, I would sing at Christmas Eve's parties with her. Imagine singing next to her singing "I Have Yourself, Mary Little Christmas" with Rosemary Clooney. So I had all of these people in my life to look up to who were just at the top of the top. They were the best and that's what I wanted to be like. I wanted to be able to sing those songs and touch people the way that they did, the way they touched me. So Frank Sinatra was for "I've Got You Under My Skin", of course, and "Love Me Tender". So I have a whole mix of songs on this album, "Love Me Tender" was one of my favorite Elvis Presley songs. And I have this fabulous story when I met Elvis and it was something that I would never forget. I think he was doing a movie at Paramount and so was my dad. They were both at Paramount and I went to visit dad at the studio and we were standing outside his dressing room. And in those days, you drove around the studio on a bicycle and Elvis Presley comes riding up on his bicycle and he gets off the bike when he sees my dad because Elvis adored Dean Martin and Elvis gets off the bike and he says hi to my father and dad introduces me. This is Dina, this is Elvis Presley and Elvis, this is my daughter Dina and he leaned down to me and he said Dina, they call me the king of rock and roll but your dad is the king of cool. I just thought, oh is that cool? Isn't that good? And I thought, oh my gosh, it must be so. Elvis Presley said so. Elvis Presley will say that. That is the epitome of a compliment right there. Oh yeah, oh yeah, he says your dad is the king of cool. So that has, I've carried that with me all these years. So Elvis inspired that song and that's the old black magic. Of course, I love Louis Prima and Keeley Smith and Keeley is a dear friend of mine. So I had to put that one on and smile, such a beautiful, beautiful song and that was, Jerry Lewis loves that song. It's his theme song now, you know, on his telethon and so I had to put that in the album. And I could just, you know, go on and on, return to me, of course, I had to do because it's one of my favorite songs of my dad's and one that people probably would be go, oh, she did that one, is just the way you are by Billy Joel. I think it's a spectacular arrangement and it's, you know, there's something for everyone on this album but I think everybody would just love it. It swings, it has tender moments and it has just great musicians, big orchestra, you know, strings the whole bit and it's beautifully produced and beautifully arranged and the arrangements are fabulous. So I'm thrilled but yes, I had all of these people that I looked up to and these influences on my life and I think it's all come together right here in Volare. That's wonderful. How long did it take to produce this album if I can have that? About a year. About a year? Yes. Well, mainly because I was working so much during that time and, you know, traveling around doing concerts and, you know, I was all over the place in Dubai or London or in New Jersey or Florida or Washington, D.C. or Seattle, Seattle, Washington. I have to come back to New Jersey to the Paramount Theater. That was fun there a couple of years ago but so it took a long time and it was picking up the songs, been sitting down and working out the arrangements with the arranger and seeing how I would want them to be on this album. I didn't want them to be like everybody else's songs and I didn't want everything to be exactly the way my dad did it. Although I ended up saying, well, you know what, what is it, don't fix it if it's not broken or something like that. The name broke, don't fix it. There you go. That's what I meant to say. So a lot of my, I kept maybe the same but, but, you know, I wanted it to be just right and I think it turned out just absolutely great. Yeah, that's great and I have to ask this because this is when I found out about this interview coming up, I had so many things about rap heck in my hand. You have no idea. They were the best. I really do. I mean, there's not a day that goes by whenever I would watch the D Martin Filebier Rose and I saw the original rap hack together with Sammy Davis Jr. and D Martin and the one with Frank Sinatra on it, I had this question in my head of the trio, the rap hack themselves. They were, they were so much fun. Now imagine I was actually at the Sands Hotel when they were all on stage together. When I would drive up to the Markey to the Sands Hotel, the Markey on the Sands Hotel and it said starring Dean Martin, maybe Frank, maybe Sammy, right there on the Markey, right? And so we would go as a family and sit down, of course, ringside, right up front and the stage would be dark and then all of a sudden, you know, the announcer would say, and now, ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to introduce direct from the bar, the star of our show, Dean Martin, you know, so that my dad would walk out and everybody would laugh and he'd walk out and he'd look at the audience and then he'd look at his conductor and he'd say, "How long I've been on." You know, and we would just laugh. He's just so cute. And then you never knew, you know, if Frank was going to be there or if Sammy was going to be there and one of the times when I was there, they both came out. So all three of them were on stage together singing. They were incredible. They loved each other. They were like naughty boys up there, you know, having the boys night out. They were so fun, the jokes. And, you know, at the time, it was, I mean, it was not, it was, it was funny at the time. I mean, it was, it was, it was great. I knew it would be funny now if they were doing it. I think it loses something in the translation now. Now everybody's so PC. You know, you can't say this. You can't say that. Everybody's afraid to hurt somebody's feelings. We've all lost our, our senses of humor, I think. But those guys had it. They could laugh at each other. They could laugh at themselves. They were the best at what they did. They had three of the greatest voices. They were hysterical. They made you feel like you were part of their show. And it was, it was just something, something to see. And then to see them walk out into the casino and deal, you know, they, my dad would walk over and he would take over for one of the Blackjack dealers. And he would, yeah. The people would come up to the table and go, are you Dean Martin? You go, no, no, I'm the, I'm the dealer. And, you know, the crowds would come around. And it was just the most incredible time in people's lives. And people dressed well. They looked good. They were classy and, and, you know, refined. Women were pretty dresses. Men didn't have on baseball caps and, you know, t-shirts. Our tribe from back then to now, isn't it? I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry to say, you know, there's been progress, but some of it not in a good way. Yeah. I do agree. And I have, and before we get more into that, we actually have another chat room person by the name of Tigers 2 saying that their favorite track on your CD is, please don't talk about me when I'm gone. Oh my gosh. I think that's my favorite too. Look at that guy. I just, I'd love, please don't talk about me when I'm gone. It's just, and we changed the lyric a little bit. So it's, it's more me and it's, it's swings. It definitely swings. The orchestra is hot and it's just probably my favorite cut. Nice. See that? Look at that. That's great. Yeah. They said dancing with, he's dancing with his wife right now, so that's all. Great. I loved it. It's, it's so peppy and it makes you feel good, even though she's saying that she's leaving him and she's going to take the, you know, the beamer and, and the ring, but still it's a happy tune. That's funny. Oh my gosh. That's so funny. That's, was it, you know, was there anything that inspired you for that song? Was it like, like, something you had experienced personally or was it something that? It's just, you know, you know, you know, we all, we all have, you know, relationships that, that fizzle out and die and you're kind of happy when it's over. I happen to be very happily married and I have the most incredible husband. He's also the producer of this album. And so we were sitting down when I decided that we wanted to do this song. Please don't talk about me when I'm gone because I have this kind of edge on me. I'm a little bit sassy or cocky or something like that. And, and it was just, it was just funny going over the lyrics and saying, well, you know, my car, I have a BMW. And so I thought it would be cute to put beamer in it. And I think the lyrics isn't, and let's forget about the ring. I said, no, and I'm going to keep the ring. And let's split the CDs. You take the strides and I'll take Basie and swing. You take the caddy, I'll take the beamer and I'm going to keep the ring. It's just, it was just, it's just, you know, I know, I mean, I had that feeling in my life years ago. So, and I know that it's going to touch a lot of people who are going through something like that right now because everybody, you know, has relationships that go wrong. And this could make you feel good about it. That's what they're saying. This is like one of the best tracks. Let me just get, get up and dancing no matter what's going on. It just takes your edge off. That's what I love hearing about. Oh, you know, what's fantastic. And I have to tell you, and it's not just because it's mine. It's just the arrangement is so good. And the way I sing it, you know, it just, it tickles me pink. Did I actually say that? I mean, it does tickle me. But I put this song on every day in the morning and it just perks me up. And I feel happy all day long. There's just something about it that makes you feel good. I know it's a sad situation, but it does make you feel good. And hopefully the whole album will. But that one song puts you in a whole new place. It does. And I got it. I was expecting this all night, but they finally asked me to ask you this. They want you to sing a few songs on it right now. Oh, okay. Well, one of my favorite songs that was a huge hit from my dad back in 1965, and I'll do a little bit for you. I don't want to be the one to say I'm going to miss you, but I will. I don't want to be the one to say I'm going to cry my eyes out, but I will. Don't wonder if you want to come back. Just come running home to me and let me feel that thrill because I'm the one who told you I would love you dear forever and I will. So that beautiful. Well, thank you. I even think I sang the wrong way. Don't tell my husband. I have a tendency to do that now that everybody heard that. I've only sung that song 40 million times, but but it's such a beautiful song. And it was a song that just touched my heart when my dad sang it. And it's always been one of my favorites of his. So I had to put that on the album. Oh, yeah, absolutely. And everybody is and everybody is saying that was beautiful. That was the best they've heard and on my radio not the last. Oh, and I had no idea I was going to do it, but it was fun. And that's what life is about. You have to take risks. You have to, when an opportunity comes, take it and just go with it. Absolutely. That's something that I have done. And actually, you could see that I did it right now, but that's what makes life interesting and you never know what's going to be around the next corner. Who's going to be on the next radio show? Who knows what's in store for us? Exactly. Now, I wanted to know, are you going to have any more tours coming up, concert tours coming up? Yes. Where am I going to be? Well, I'm going to be in Chicago at some feast on Taylor Street. And I think that's in two weeks. I think August, gee, August, maybe six or seven. It will be, actually, people can go to my website dinamartin.com and go to tours and events. And that will tell you where I will be. But I do have quite a few, I think, concerts that are coming up. Let's see. In Ohio, Chicago, yes, a couple of weeks from now, gosh, I'm going to be at the Nashville Symphony. I love singing in front of a symphony orchestra. That's going to be spectacular. But you can go on to dinamartin.com and find out where I will be. And I'm sure that there will be more coming. At this moment, I was concentrating on the new CD and it's taken all of our time and I'm so thrilled with it. Hopefully, I'll be doing a lot of personal appearances and coming to a town near you. I just love to be able to sing this music. Absolutely. You should check into New Orleans, the New Orleans Dad Festival. You know, that's a great idea. I'm writing that down. That's a great idea. I love New Orleans. That's a, now you talk about eating. But you're actually, I think, the second person who told me that in one week. Oh, I was judging a talent contest for children last week and I believe a few of them were in from Louisiana and I guess that's what they were asking me to do is to go to New Orleans to sing. And so you're the second person in a week. I guess this is an omen for me. I think so. I think so. I know. You never know. That's exactly my words, exactly. Never enough. And the question from the chat room is what do you think of Andrea Picelli? And did you not know who Picelli was? Oh, yes. Oh, yes. And I adore him. I think it's just the most fabulous voice ever. And that's a voice, a sound that comes from the heart. And it's a beautiful, natural, gorgeous, gorgeous, moving feeling when you hear him sing. And I know my dad just thought he had a great voice. He really admired him. So that's nice to know. But I think he's spectacular. That's great. That is great. And one more thing I wanted to ask you before we start to wrap things up here on our side on the show, we love to have you do a promo for us. I would be honored if you did one. I would be happy to do that. I would love for you to, well, first off. All right, let me get my gears on. Let's see how I want this said. Or what do I want in it? Okay. Let's see. Let's start off easy. First, it has to have our name in it. Obviously, our show name. Buzzworthy, radio. Name and your name. Now I've heard this done on another show. I don't know if you want to do this. This is a suggestion. I'm throwing out there. This will be a first for us. I'm just saying. You could sing a few little lines at the beginning where you're making your introduction in of whatever song you want. And then go into your intro of this Dean of Martin. And you are listening to buzzworthy radio. You don't have to sing lines. You could just go right into the intro and do whatever you want. Maybe you could cut something. Let's see. Now that wouldn't be good. Let's see. Well, let me do this first. Let me say, let me do this one first. Hi, this is Dean of Martin. And you are listening to Buzzworthy Radio. It's the best. All right. What is your name? Nevel. Nevel. Nevel. All right. So let's see. Now, are you just called? Yeah, you're Nevel Lee, right? Yes. Nevel. Okay, Buzzworthy Radio. Well, no, that wouldn't be out there. I was going to say, everybody loves somebody sometimes. Hi, this is Dean of Martin. And I love Buzzworthy Radio. I like that. Yeah. All right. And let's see. Maybe we can find one more. Let's see. What do we have? Hi, this is Dean of Martin. And you are listening to the top rated internet radio network with Buzzworthy Radio. Stay tuned. Wow. I like that laugh. Okay. All right. Now can I get paid? No. Yeah, right. Hey, you commissioned. Yes, right. Every time we use it on the air. All I want is people to buy this album. We worked so hard on it. And I know it'll bring people a lot of joy and it'll kick them up when they're down and it'll make them feel good. So that's all I want. That's not too much to ask. That's not too much to ask. They can find it at amazon.com and they can find it on iTunes, right? Yes. But it's better if you have it in your hot little hands. You know, you can see that did you pull out the liner notes? Have you seen it? Did you get pulled out the liner notes? Yeah. No, I have to check that out. You have. Yes, you have to do that because you have to see the plane and you have to read all the special liner notes and everything. That's what's so great about getting an actual CD in your hand. It's wonderful to be able to download things and put them on your iPod and all of that. And I'm very excited that I am on iTunes and it's done very, very well. But there's something about having the CD with the pictures and the notes and the great photographs on the inside. So, you know, for people who like to collect things like that and have the CD in hand, I think they're going to really find this one to be pretty and entertaining. Absolutely. Make sure you check out her website at dinnamar.com everybody as well to get the latest information. And send me a letter. I'd love to hear from you. Send her a letter. Yes. Thank you so much again for coming on here. It was a pleasure having you here and talking about your CD and you want to wrap back everything. It was wonderful. It just put my mind to ease about everything, about what goes on over there with you and with your family. It's wonderful. It just feels like a part of my life. And I'm only 24. Well, you know what? You are on the right road. You're doing this great show. I'm very happy for you. Keep going. Keep listening to the Rat Pack. They were the coolest. It's the classics. It's the Great American Songbook. They had style and class. And I think you were bringing style and class to your blog. Is that what it is? That's what it is. So keep that going. I think you do a great job. I had fun. I enjoyed it. Got to laugh. Got to talk to some of your bloggers. And it was a lot of fun. And I enjoyed it. We love to have you back on any time, especially for that cooking show. All right. Well, we'll do that. We will set that up. And I'll give you some great recipes and some fun stories growing up at the Martin House, which was really quite wild. I'm looking forward to it. All right. Well, it was my pleasure being here.
