You're not worthy radio, and if you're not, you should be. Hello out there in Radio World. Welcome to a new edition of Buzzworthy Radio this Monday. It's Monday, May 18, 2009. It's 9 p.m. each and times 6 p.m. Pacific here on blogtalkradio.com. I'm your host, Nevelle J. Lee, coming at you live here right now. I would like the pleasure of welcoming back for the fourth, for the fourth visit. I cannot believe it's been four times. It's been four times since we had this cat on the show, but you know what? We always like having them on the show, so let's bring him back. Number four, John Drickle, is here with us again. What is going on, man? How are you? I'm doing just fine in yourself. Well, you know, I think I'm doing pretty well. I'm doing pretty well. A lot of changes last time you and I spoke. So yeah, I'm doing well. I'm doing really well. Yeah, a lot of things have changed. I mean, I know we talked. You said you're going back and auditioning, lowering the hole. Here I am, finding out you're getting the role of a lifetime. Maybe I'm going to rest this. I mean, my God, how in the hell did that happen? Yeah, I guess the news kind of got out pretty quickly now, didn't it? Yeah, at the bid. Well, yeah, let's talk about that last phone call. Last time we spoke, it had to be probably, I don't know, end of January or so. And maybe beginning February, and we had Beth Chamberlain. Beth, I'm from Guiding Light, and we pulled a little prank with her, and doing a little Q&A, and that was a lot of fun. And yeah, you're right. I said that I was going to be jumping back into the auditioning circuit. And I certainly did. I certainly did. You landed it, man. I had no doubt you were going to get something. Yeah, no, it was kind of crazy how it came apart. And there's certain things I can't talk about, certain things I can't talk about at this point. So I'm like, what can you say, obviously? What can you say? Well, let me just say, the auditioning process was pretty rigorous for this part. And this role was something that almost didn't happen for me. And it was pretty interesting. I auditioned here in New York for it. And really, you didn't go to LA for us? Well, for starters, I auditioned in New York because, you know, when you're out here in New York, it's tough, and it's pretty costly to get out to LA. And so a lot of times, like most actors, you submit something on tape. You're your agent, you're your manager, or your best friend, whoever. Anybody has a camera. You know, you get the scene and you do it on tape, and then they send it up to the casting director. And then the casting director takes a look at it, and they say, yes, you know, we like this tape. You know, or they just don't respond at all, and that's usually a big fact to know. So in my case, this is the first time, and read the breakdown for the character. Obviously, the characters' names have always been changed. So, you know, the character was like James or something like that. So I auditioned the first time and waited about a day, and then got some feedback. And the casting director said, you know, good actor. You know, he's got a great look about him. You know, took the sides of your thing and ran with it, but he's just not what we're looking for. They said that that was not it. I was not what they were looking for. So I said, well, I talked to my agent. I said, look, here's the deal. I said, I'm 3,000 miles away. I'm not in a room with these casting people. I said, please don't take no for an answer. I asked for feedback, you know, words, phrases, ideas, thoughts, anything. Just give me something to do. And so casting director came back and said, you know, okay, we'll give them a chance, you know, and she gave me some feedback. And so I went in, and I auditioned again with my agent and put that on tape. And I wore something completely different, you know, very, very different, not as bright and shiny and, you know, upbeat and fun. Well, let me explain bright and shiny first. Yeah. What did you talk about? I was wearing -- I was wearing -- I was -- I was clean cut. I was clean cut because that's what coop on "Guiding Life," that's who he was. Yeah, I just -- I'm offing that. Being in. And so, you know, for this, I just kind of had dirtied up a little bit. And so I changed things up a little bit, and went in there, and I took her -- you know, she literally gave me like five or six words, you know, as far as feedback of things to keep in mind. And I did that, and I literally waited in my agent's office for, you know, good, you know, two hours while they downloaded the video to the net, sent out to LA, LA forwarded on to the casting person, and the casting person said, yes, they got it. And so I literally waited until it went out there, and I knew they had it. And so then two days later, I got a call and said, you know, that's exactly what they're looking for, you know, along those lines, and they said, anyway, you can come out to LA. Nice. Yeah, and so I auditioned a couple more times up there, and, you know, I flew out there, and then I flew back, and then I flew back out there again, and yeah. And so it was a pretty lengthy, you know, plane chains and automobiles kind of an audition, but it all paid off in the end, and, you know, a little sacrifice, you know, can go a long way. So I was very, very lucky, right time, right place. And, you know, and, you know, leaving Guiding Light in January, as much as it was, as much as it, you know, pain me leave because I love working, and I love the people I was working with, you know, it paid off. Yeah, exactly. It really did. Can I say that this upcoming role that you got will basically have you a little rough around the edges, someone? Yeah. From what I understand, I haven't been here too much, but I've been trying to do some homework with the character and with what they have given me. And I feel like I'm coming up with more questions than I am. And we tell you, this is kind of a complicated, very, very involved character, and I'm really looking forward to it. You know, I'm not nervous. I'm not scared about this at all. I mean, it's a great show that I'm going to young and restless. It's fabulous. It's been number one for years, and it's number one for years. They've got a great cast. They've got great storylines. They've got a chemistry or another work. I mean, every show pretty much has their time, you know, is number one for a while, but like any great show, sometimes you have to pass the reins over, and so I'm happy that I'm getting a chance to go over there and jump into a character that is, you know, is really, you know, they're looking forward to this arrival. So, well, do me a favor, why don't you, because I mean, anything would help, why don't you fill me in a little bit on this character as to what you know about him. Wait, wait, you know, let me get a pen and a piece of paper so I can write this down for a second. Hold on a second. We should like to find here. Oh, that's a few funnies. No, seriously, yeah, go ahead and tell me what you know about the guy. What do I know about this guy? Well, first of all, what the character's name is going to be. Well, I guess, you know, you know the character first, right? Yes, I do. You'd be okay. I'll let you say it as opposed to me saying it, so... The character that John Driscoll, I probably should have said this at the beginning, but I guess I did not. Yeah, points off for me as a host, but that's okay. That's okay. We're going to move on to it. He's going to be playing Philip Chancellor IV, I believe it's the IV. Yep. It is the IV. I was right then. I was the IV. He's going to be playing this role. He is Philip and Nina's son that they had back in 1988, so apparently you got sore assed a lot. Yeah, I age pretty well. Your father apparently died and a car accident, he was drunk, by the way, but this happens. And I will say that I have absolutely no idea if your father is alive or not, considering what happened this past Friday. So there's this first part. We don't know if your biological father is alive in kicking or he really did kick the bucket. So that's the one thing that you are going to be experiencing. You're going to be interacting with your on-screen mother, Nina, played by Trish Cast on the show. We really didn't really don't know too much about Philip. I mean, he was seen off and on in the mid 90s, and that's about it. I mean, we really don't know too much about him per se. We're probably going to know more about him once you start airing on the show. I probably know a little bit more about the role than you do. That is, yes, that is for certain. It's funny, I've been trying to catch episodes of Y&R on TV. But the past couple weeks have been rather hectic for me in trying to transition and pick up and move everything out to LA and head out that way. So I haven't had a chance to watch a lot. I did hear today that they had spoken about Philip. A little bits and pieces just to kind of say that he's around and then what's going on. So I'm definitely excited about this. The buildup is starting. To a little factor, I'm going to blank on the guy's name. But the last person that played for a chance of the fourth, when he was younger, was seen when he was like eight or nine or maybe ten years old. Yeah, exactly mid-90s. The guy that played him is now one of the elite guys on Gossip Girl. Wow. I'm blanking on his name, obviously Dark Air. And at the time he was like eight, nine, ten years old or whatever. But yeah, he was the last played by a guy on Gossip Girl. So a little bit of trivia. So I, for one, unfortunately blanking on the guy's name. How horrible was that? Oh, that's bad. But hey, even I didn't know that. So you don't feel too bad in that regard. No, no. But you know, there's a lot. I've had talks with the people at Y&R. And so they were telling about Tricia Gaston what a wonderful actress she is and then the style that she brings to it. Yes, it was. It was Penn Bagley. Yep. There you go. There you go. And see there, you got the computer funny. You can go ahead and go to a couple of hell about fashion than I can. So thank you for that. No problem. You're my cheat sheet. I have a cheat sheet right in front of me. You do. Really do. So I don't want to, I don't want to give too much away. What I have heard of what's coming up with this character. I don't know what I can say. You know what? If you want to say something, you're more than welcome to you. I'm just not saying a word. So I'm keeping my mouth shut and I'll just kind of listen and I'll either agree or disagree. I will say that rumor has it. If you don't like rumors, people don't listen to what I'm about to say now cover your ears. But rumor has it that Phillip Chancellor is apparently going to have a love interest. That's pretty positive that there's going to be a love interest. There is a love interest. You're not giving too much away with that one. Okay. That's good. It's going to fall for somebody. I didn't want to. I'm like, you have to watch now. That's there you go. That nice and vague. Let's keep a nice and vague. He's going to be interested in somewhat evil. We're not saying hell. That's good. That's right. That's right. It's interesting because I was reading a lot of the gossip online. Let me first just say that the people, the why not fans, I went on to this site and I was looking up a lot of the characters that they said I was going to be working with and that this character will be working with. Let me just, first and foremost, say I Google the character and the people, the reporters who had kind of broken some of the story online, let me just say thank you very much for their kind words as well as a lot of the fans who love the show and really support this character. Coming back to the show, let me just say that you guys have definitely reached out and you guys have said some wonderful things both to me portraying this character as well as to the work that I've done in the past on Guiding Light and elsewhere that people have seen. People from one are really kind of open up their arms and they've really been very gracious about that so I definitely want to say thank you to those of you listening. I feel really honored and really lucky to be able to pick up such a great character. For me, with my history with Guiding Light, my character that I brought about wasn't a planned character. Mine was just kind of like a, they brought on Tom Palfrey who did a fantastic job at the Jonathan character who was a son of Reva. We auditioned against each other and they brought him on and so with mine it was kind of like we have this guy and he did a good screen test. Let's see what we can find for him so mine wasn't a planned character so I will say that this go around it is nice to know that I am definitely getting a storyline. I know it's coming up and I know it's happening and it is planned this time so that's a breath of fresh air. This is more of the fan talking than the host talking what I'm about to say. Oh, okay, go ahead. All right, as long as you're ready for it. Absolutely. I will say that with you being on the young and restless now you are going to be used so well. Your talents are just going to explode on screen. I really felt like you were underused and Guiding Light profusely and your talents wasn't that far expressed when you were on the show. I think with Y&R with how it is, I grew up with this show since I was a freaking toddler. I'm showing my age, aren't I? The gray hairs will start sprouting pretty soon when I turn 25. I already got it. But just by what I know Y&R, what it used to be, and actually what it is now with Maria Bell under the helm and what they've got going on with the show right now, it's absolutely going to be fantastic for you. I really believe, you truly believe that you are going to be fantastic in this role and they're going to give you every, every, every ounce to show yourself. Just like show yourself. And that's what, that's what I, first, thank you. Thank you for saying that I really do appreciate it. Yeah, finishing up Guiding Light. They gave me some stuff to really, you know, I could really kind of, you know, part of the expression, but I could really kind of, you know, just bite right into it and just really jump in and just kind of creatively just kind of figure out what I wanted to go, how dark I wanted to make it, how, how light I wanted to make it, you know, tap into some stuff that I hadn't really had a chance to before. Not to say that I never had a storyline on Guiding Light, but it just wasn't as gritty as. Yeah. And so as an actor, that's the one thing, you know, just maybe, you know, common sense, some people, some people may not understand it. As an actor, you always want to feel like, you know, you want to be pushing yourself just like any job, you know, you're not going to get stronger if you keep lifting 25 pounds. You know, you're just going to get accustomed to it and then you're not going to go anywhere. When you start, you know, lifting heavier, then you get more progress. Just like when you start, you know, you start doing math, you get better math. When you start looking at bigger scripts, you get better memorizing and faster. When you start diving into it and really discovering things about a character, the character becomes brighter. It becomes more of a rich character overall. And so that's why I'm really excited about this because I know jumping into it, you know, there's going to be a lot of stuff face value, but there's going to be a lot of stuff that I'm going to, you know, discover not only if you're talking with Maria Bell and through Paul, the other executive producer, freaking me out, I'm blanking on his Paul Roush, excuse me, the other executive producer, but the directors and the other actors as well, you know, I can really, you know, take this character and really try to make him really, really full-colored and really rich. And so that's what I'm looking forward to in spreading my acting wings a little bit more. And so I am really looking forward to that aspect of it. So they just said that this character is going to be involved with a lot of different families. There's a lot of backstory in the history of the character and not necessarily with this character, but with his family. Right, exactly. Knowing the chancellors, you know, they've been around. Jimmy Cooper, you know, is just amazing. And I can't wait to, you know, start working with her. And there's just so much going on right now. I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I'm still kind of excited at the thought of, you know, picking up and overall idea of just jumping out there. So I'm just, I'm really excited about all this. It's frustrating because everyone's like, "Oh, my God, aren't you excited?" I'm like, "Yeah, I'm stoked because I've got so much work to do between now and now." Yeah, yeah. Absolutely. It'll be a big change, big transformation for me as a person, but also as an actor. And I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be quite the task. It's going to be quite the challenge, but I'm definitely ready for it. You'll pull out. You'll be swinging in there. Don't worry about that. Hey, but you did bring up a good point. I think change is good. And with what just happened here with you and getting this part, it was a welcome change for you. And I think, like you said, it's going to give you that ample opportunity to spread your wings a little bit and see what you can do and show your growth as an actor. So you're going to get, I think you're going to get the chance to express that on this show. I really do. And I think it will be fantastic. I hope it was exciting. I guess I could probably share a little bit more about the audition experience. I auditioned with the casting director. When I went out there, I took the same script when they gave me the feedback. When I first went out there, I read with her and literally I read one time. I read the script once. And she said, "John, honestly, I have no feedback to give you." And it's a huge compliment, but at the same time as an actor, we're done. Because we want to make sure that our performance is right on par. And it's kind of like, okay, great. Is there nothing? Is there anything? I mean, do I need to change my shirt? Do I stink? Do I smell bad? What can I do to think a little bit better? And they said, no, honestly, just keep this. Do what you did. And just do it for the executive producers. And Maria Bell and all about from there. And the cast director, she was reading with me and her assistant was in there. Literally, we were just talking. It was very real. And the great thing about it was that, thankfully, I had a chance to work with Justin B's. And he's a very real actor. I like that. And so I just kind of remembered a lot of the stuff that we did together. And I just kind of put it into this. And Maria and Paul were very nice. And sat and I talked with him for a couple minutes or so. And then I said, okay, great. Thanks a lot guys. I walked out. I left, got back to New York and found out that I was going to go to a screen test. And I was like, oh, that's great. It's amazing. So I went back out there and auditioned against two other guys so the three of us overall. And let me tell you, it was really, like I said, when I said it was plane strains and automobiles, I literally did the screen test. As soon as I finished the screen test, I took my car back to the airport that I had rented, dropped my car off, went to go out on a flight, got bumped off the flight. I had a companion pass that I had gotten. And so I got bumped off the flight. It was 10th of the night. They said, you might as well try tomorrow. So I go back to my buddy's place. I crash on my buddy's place. Get up at 4 a.m. in the morning. I don't have a car at this point. So I'm catching a cab at like 4.30 in the morning. Get to the airport. Catch a seven o'clock flight in the morning, which takes me to Las Vegas and then from Vegas, it's supposed to go to Philadelphia. Then from Philly, it's supposed to go to New York. Well, I get as far as Vegas and then I get bumped off the flight because it's an oversold flight. So I'm like, crap man, what the hell am I going to do? So I said, okay, basically there's nothing from Vegas leaving here. You might as well go back to LA. So I caught a flight back to LA. I'm back in LA by 10 something in the morning. I get bumped off. Two more flights back east. And I'm like, all right, this sucks. So I just go over and I buy a ticket on another airline. So I got a confirmed seat. I go to get a security line and I get a call from the casting director of Y9. They said, John, look, they didn't like the screen test. And I'm like, okay. And they said, no, no, no, no. It's not you. It's just the material. They want to try something a little different. So they wrote the material up and they said, let's try something else. So they said, come back and had 20 minutes to look at the script basically. And got a chance to speak with Maria and which was great, which is fabulous. She helped kind of shed a little bit of light on things. And so I went back in and I auditioned for three of them this time. And they said, okay, great. Thank you very much. Really appreciate you coming back like that. And so it was so cut and dry when they said, thank you very much. I appreciate your time and coming back like this. And then they left. I was like, well, crap, man. I just blew it. I said, if I had gotten the job, then they would have taken a little bit more time and they would have said something, you know, but they were like, nope. Thanks a lot. Appreciate it. Bye. So I was like, all right. So I had the whole weekend to dwell on it. I'm like, well, you know what? This sucks. So, you know, I stayed one more night in LA. Next morning, I left, you know, to come back home. And it was, you know, Saturday or Sunday. And then finally, Monday afternoon or Tuesday, I got the call saying, you know, congratulations. You got the job. And I was like, oh, my God, this was such a breath of fresh air. So it literally was just a crazy audition process. I mean, I was back and forth and here and there. And I love to place them up and down. And, you know, I've been 35,000 feet. And I'm back on the ground. And then I'm back in LA. And I'm in Vegas. And it was just, it was crazy. But again, it all paid off. Yeah. Absolutely. You just described my plane ride from LA to the East coast. There you go. Never quite quite. It's never easy. No, it's not. It's dreadful. But at least throughout that whole process, you got the part. Obviously, you got the part. Yeah. And even though you're hearing, well, thank you very much for your time. Appreciate you coming back. I mean, if I heard those words, I'd be like, oh, my God. I don't have them. Yeah. Yeah. But I would have been shocked, too, if I heard those words. Like, you got the part. Just from after that experience. I'm like, hmm. Oh, right then. Yeah. Yeah. No, it was nice. You know what? And that's the thing about it. That's why I honestly have to say I love this job because it messes with your emotions. But at the same time, you know, if you have the same, you know, for me personally, if I had the same and honest job every day, and I really couldn't experience that rollercoaster of emotion of being really excited and be really nervous and, you know, be really happy. And then, you know, I just, I really wouldn't feel like I was experiencing life to its fullest. And a lot of people say, are you crazy? A steady paycheck is worth it. You know, what your job is. But, you know what? For me, I am too ADD to be in an office. I can't do it. I'd probably, you know, pissed all my coworkers off when I'd be fired, you know, for my first week being there. But that's why I just, I really love it because I feel like every day is something different. Something is, I'm discovering something else about myself. And that's what, that's, for me, that's what makes me feel alive. That's what gives me a lot of enjoyment is being able to experience, you know, all these emotions and then being able to use them, you know, either, you know, at that moment or at a later time and just being able to recall these emotions. So, and that's why, that's why I love it. And that's why I love it. And that's why with this, you know, with this character, I mean, he's going to be pretty different, you know, from what I'm accustomed to playing. And so, you know, that's what I'm excited about. I'm excited to be able to switch things up a little bit. And so, again, like I said, it'll feel, for me, I'll feel like I'm really alive when I do this. And that's about as good as it gets. Yeah, exactly. Well, my question to you is this, you know, I know I'm jumping back and forth between each show, young and the rest, was guiding life. But for you yourself, have you been receiving a lot of email from fans about what has the culminating, you know, decision with what happened with guiding life? Have you been receiving a lot of, like, mail about, you know, what people think, thoughts, ideas? Fan reaction to it? Like the memories? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I pretty much get it, I pretty much get it a lot on my Facebook and the message boards I posted of their reactions about the show. And, you know, it's a difference of opinion. They want it to survive, and then there's the other half that wants it to go off with some set of dignity, because they feel like if it goes onto another network, then it's going to be a shell of itself, basically, then it won't be the guiding life that once was. You know, I understand how that part feels. I also understand how the other part feels because, you know, they don't want to see a soap opera die in this genre right now with the dying greed that it's in right now. But then I can also see those that feel the way they do with guiding life being canceled, because with this, they want to see it go out in the best way that they know how, you know, keep the guiding life memory alive as it is when it ends on the 18th of September of this year, you know, and it's hard. It's hard to basically see those differences, because I don't know how to respond to it, to be honest with you. I just look at it and just go, I know how you feel about this. I can take your opinion of what way that you give me, but I never really gave them an answer of how I really felt about it. Because I really don't want to, but also because I don't want to set one set off and then repeat the other set, you know, so it's kind of a point. Yeah, no, I understand. But have you had some of the actors from the show on there since receiving this news? Since receiving the news? No. No, nothing yet. No, nothing yet. I've been trying now, but I haven't got anything. Yeah, I know. Things have been kind of up in the air. I mean, far be it for me to say anything, because, you know, like I said, I mean, now I'm out of loop, and although I'm really good friends with them, I was with Jeff Branson and Caitlyn Van Zant down in Marco Island about three weeks ago, you know, which was great. Again, another fabulous weekend. I'm not trying to throw any shout-outs here, but those people who haven't had a chance to go down there to it, it really is a great event. It's a great time. But they just, I mean, they were in good spirits. It comes with a territory, a job is a job, and, you know, sometimes it works, and then, you know, just like everything else, something has come to an end. And, you know, it was just frustrating. I think that the biggest thing is it was just frustrating the way that it was handled, I guess, but overall, you know, they're all on board to tell the best story they can, you know, whether the show gets picked up, or if it is going to go off the air, you know, to be able to, you know, ride it out and finish up the show strong and do justice to it. You know, '70, '72, was it '72? Yeah, '72. You know, '72 years. Yeah, it's great. You know, for me personally, I'm just glad that, you know, everyone wants to be, you know, you know, that they kind of contributed something. And so, for me, I'm just glad that, you know, I'll be able to, you know, look back and say, you know what, I was part of something that was very historic and monumental. And that's, for me personally, that's a great accomplishment. So, I still talked a lot of the cast out of there. I love them all very dearly, and we still do get together when we get a chance. So, I do miss them, and it was such a wonderful experience. And for anybody who passed through the guiding light doors, you know, I'm sure they'll probably all say the same thing, but it was just wonderful. It was great. It was just such a fun place, you know, everything, your issues, your drama, your remorse, your ego, everything was just checked at the door, and everyone just did their job. And it was a great thing about it, and that was a fun part about it. So, nothing but good memories on this part. But, as I said, you know, it'd be interesting to get some people on the show that are currently on there right now to kind of talk about the mood and how everything is. Yeah. I'll see if I can pull some strings for you. Let me see what I can try and hook up for you. Oh, jeez. Thank you very much. Thank you. Between your emails and hopefully my text messages and phone calls will be able to get some other opinions on the show. You're like my go-to guy now, like you're like my Matt Isman from Clean House. I had on the show too. That's so funny. That's the irony. I've had Matt Isman on the show, so that actually worked out. There you go. There you go. Hey, where's your partner in crime tonight? Where's the co-host? I don't know. And he knows about tonight. He knows about tonight. He's dropping the ball. He knows about tonight. I have absolutely no idea where he is, but I'm very disappointed. I'm very disappointed in the fact that your promo is now old and we're going to have to do a new one for you. You are going to have to do, oh my gosh, we do have to do a new one, don't we? We'll roll one done. We'll get that one done. Before we get that one done, I have a Texas caller on the phone for you. Boy. All right. Texas, you're on the line. 214. How are you? I'm just fine. How are you? I'm doing very well. Who are we speaking with? This is Judith in Texas. Hi, John. Hey, Jesus. How are you? I thought I called you this time. Yeah, that's right. That doesn't have to leave a message. Oh, that's right, well, don't delete the message this time. I found it. It came back. I couldn't believe it. Judith and I, we have a little bit of history here. Judith and I have, yeah, we know. I'm at Judith. Oh my gosh, what was it? About four and a half years ago. Me and Sean are both. You met us. Yeah. Yup. At the first, oh, please tell her I said hello as well. Oh, she's listening. Oh, good. Yeah. We met at the Guiding Light Luncheon the first year. And from day one, it was nothing but smiles and hi. How are you? And have a seat and take a load off and, you know, just easy company. Easy, easy companies, all I can say. And it's something about you. You walked out there on the boat and sat down and said, "Hey, how are you?" And I said, "Oh, my gosh, it's time to go." [laughter] Can I have a picture? Oh, what? Can we have an instance? I wanted to ask you one question about the show. Sure, please. Can we assume that you and your character now will be giving us lots of good bites between Catherine and Jill? Well, I believe, well, what good soap opera doesn't have some drama? Well, Bill and Catherine, I mean, they've been friends too long again now. They've got to get back at it. As I said, as I said, I haven't been able to kind of check out the show to see the vibe and see what has been mentioned, what hasn't. But I believe probably in the next couple of weeks you are going to see some tensions rise. Not too many between them, but, you know, possibly between other characters. And like I said, it's still very early for me to comment on this, but I will say that... Right, I understand that. From what I've been understanding of their, this character will be able to kind of deal with a lot of different other characters on the show, which will create probably good vibes as well as some bad vibes. Well, anything that'll stir up Catherine and Jill is always fun to watch. Well, exactly. Everybody loves a good cast fight, so... Well, those two are probably about the best on TV yet, isn't it? I agree with that. They do it so long. I agree with them. They're the reason why I like to do this. That's exactly it. I'm just looking forward to getting a chance to work with them. Well, we can't wait to see you out there. I sit every time we watch and see you. We always wave at the screen and say, "Hi, John." It's just like you really know we're watching and you're going to wave back, but we pretend. We'll say, "Well, I'll try and throw around there one of the days. I'll try and throw over there." Oh, that'll be great. We'll be watching for that. Oh, but if you do this. We'll be on the new program. What's that? I said, "We're throwing the desk. You're going to be on the new program where we can continue watching you." And we'll miss guiding, like, terribly. Yes. Well, you're in good company with that. Oh, I know. Again, I've received a lot of emails and messages from people that are still in shock about the whole thing and asking you if it's going to be picked up. Unfortunately, I'm not the best person to talk about it. But I will just say that I do share a lot of this. Well, I have my own opinions about it. I really won't share, but I do hate to see it go off the air and would love to see it come on some other way where we could continue the stories. Really? Well, there's a will there's a way. So we're going to try to get out to California where we can see you and visit with you out there. That would be great. I look forward to seeing y'all. Oh, well, we look forward to seeing you again, hun. So you take care and just have a great time doing this. We'll be watching. I appreciate it. Thank you so much. Bye. Super fun. They've been, they've been just wonderful. So really, really good friends. So, uh, that was very, that was very sweet of them to call in. Oh, well, I have. I got. I've got other people that I think you know. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. All right. Say hello to 508, who I am trying to painfully, shyly say her name, Brandy. Brandy, what's going on? Hey, John. What's up? How are you? I'm flirting with him on the show, please. I don't flirt with John, John's my brother. I can't do that. That's too gross. Well, you actually, you talk a lot of smack. Let me tell you, when it becomes football season, that smacks our twine. So, uh, be nice tonight, please. Yeah. Yeah, it does. I'll be in this. I'll be in this football season because, you know, we'll always be around. Please do. Please do. Just get, yeah, give me a few more months of peace and quiet. That's all I'm asking for. John. Brandy, how you doing? I'm doing real good. I'm really happy that you're going to be going on younger races. See, I've been watching. I just, I started watching, like, here and there a few months, and then I found out you're going to be on. I'm like, yeah, I'm going to see John again. Awesome. Yeah, I was pretty stoked about it. I couldn't, I couldn't believe it. It took a couple days for it to really sink in. Just because, you know, it was just so chaotic, you know, with the whole auditioning process and stuff like that. And then finally when I attempted to sit down, I was just kind of like, damn, I've got to pick up and leave now. So, but no, I'm just, I'm super excited. I'm really excited. I've talked to a couple of my friends that are already out there on the show and, and, and, you know, the people that do know, they're just like, you know, welcome to welcome to family. You're going to have such a great time out here. You're going to be a great addition. So, I'm really excited about this. I got, I'm smiling from ear to ear. We are too. You know, your girls always got you back. I appreciate that. I always do. We're going to, we're going to miss you on the East Coast. You know, we're going to miss you at softball, which is in three weeks. I know. I know. Well, you know, if, if I have some time, you know, I, I know things are going to be kind of rushed, but you know, I was saying that if I had any time at all, I would try and come out to whatever I possibly could before they, before they, they got the workload going for me. So, if I can make it up to it, I certainly will. I am in contact with people that are putting it on. I will try and make an attempt to go there, but if not, I apologize. But my, my thoughts are with CBS this year. Obviously. Clearly. Everybody gives me crap for cheering for both keys because I watch all different, I watch all different shows. So, my friends making a shirt this year that says I swing both ways. You know, swing isn't that. Oh, no, no, no. We get it. Don't worry. We got it. You don't have to explain that one. Yeah, we got it. Okay, good. Yeah, that we swing both ways that we both like ABC and CBS. So, I'm not alone in that. So, if I'm going to get yelled at, I'm bringing my friends down with me. Okay. Well, it's better in numbers. You'll be safer. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to do that. EJ already said he's going to throw stuff at me. I'm like, okay. Fantastic. That's what we like. We like more ruckus in the stands than we do on the field. That's perfect. I can just get a new broadcast now. Charity event gets wild and crazy for go to the hospital. That's wonderful. Girl go wild floor. Yeah, yeah, girl. Girls go wild for soaps and all you see is this cat fight in stands. That's fantastic. That's exactly what we want to do. Of course, my name and my picture will be right in there, right? Yeah. It'll be one of those very flattering poses where your hair is being, like, you know, pulled one away and you got that, like, pain to look on your face so I can just see it. Wait, it's really scary that you're picturing that. That might change. Look, I've been familiar with nothing but, like, I've been looking at nothing but, like, you know, in touch magazine and all this stuff at the supermarkets while I'm, like, you know, waiting in line and buying groceries. I was home with the family this weekend, so. You realize he's just admitted he was looking at in touch on this show? I was at the grocery store and I was looking at all the magazines. Okay. And they had the guts. You just said in touch, though. Whatever. Why did you take that one out? Let me say, like, a star, a choir, people, you know, us, weekly, pick one. They're all the same, basically. I know if I'll get yelled at for that. But I'm just saying that they usually have those incriminating photos of people and what happened, like, right there, so. And look at you trying to start some smack on the air. And it wasn't me this time. It wasn't me. Hey. I do this off the air with John. This is no different. I have to be truthful there. I can't lie while I'm on air. Please don't. Sometimes. Sometimes. Sometimes. So, Brandi, do you have anything else for us over here? Before I take the next dollar? Oh, I just want to issue all the luck, you know. I got you back. You always know that. I know you see years now. And, you know, I got to love you even though we have our little football thing, whatever. That's fine. I think I'll look past that. Yeah. But I appreciate it. Thank you for the kind of words. And please, by all means, always just keep the comments coming. And, you know, if you see something like, you know, please comment. If you see something you don't like, you know, please be gentle and kind in your comments. I'm always gentle and kind in my comments. I appreciate it. But, no, seriously, thank you so much for all the support, you know, over the years. It really means a lot. So, I definitely appreciate it being. No problem. No problem. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. All right. Thanks. Have a good night. Bye, Brandi. Bye, Brandi. Bye. Bye. Bye. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Who are we going to now? Pennsylvania. Yay. So, how was that oil? How was that refinery explosion, huh? I don't know if that was in your area and not a close to your, you know, if you were able to feel that explosion. Oh, okay. You're a little far off then. You're a little far off then. But, but yeah, we had, it happened in Delaware though, but it was like Delaware close to Philly. A Senoka refinery, maybe 20, 30 minutes away. Yeah. It's not very close. I am completely lost here. What happened? What was I not aware of? We had it in Delaware, in the state of Delaware, which is the Delaware closest to Philly, instead of closest to Jersey. I'll claim out in Delaware there was a, a Senoka refinery explosion last night, where ETO gas apparently got into the air, but we're, we're all safe now. No one was injured and we don't have to worry about our air being contaminated with toxins. So we're all good. What the hell? Yeah. Sounds like a soap opera plot, doesn't it? Honestly, the refinery exploded and there's children stuck in the daycare, which is a test. Don't give, don't give Y&R any ideas, please. Oh, God. Oh, no. Hi, John. Hey, how are you? I'm sorry. Wait. Who's this? Oh, my God. You just saw me three weeks ago. I know I'm, well, this is on the, this is on the phone and I'm sorry. I know the voices are different, right? On the phone, very much so. I'm blanking, you know, a thousand apologies, but I just, I needed to ask the question. You're blanking on my name. Okay. I am blanking. I'll tell him my name. Jamela. Oh, hey. Yes. Yes. There you go. Okay. What's going on? How are you? I'm doing fine and not on yourself. I'm well. I'm, I'm tired. It's been a long, it's been a long time. We were just actually just talking about Marco Island. Yeah. You know, a little while ago. Yeah. Your girlfriend? Totally awesome. I love her. Yeah. Well, that's good. That's, that's, that makes two of us. I hope so. I hope that I can hide. I will, I will tell you pass it on. And I did write on her Facebook there. I finally found her. You did. Okay. Yeah. I think I, yeah. She mentioned that she brought that up and she had, she had told me about that. So she thought you were really sweet. And she just had, she just had a fabulous time overall. Yeah. It was awesome. Dancing with her. It was really fun. Was your dancer with her? Yeah. Dancing with her. Damn it. I didn't even get a chance to get girlfriend. That's awesome. I said, I didn't even get a chance to dance with my girlfriend. I'm glad you had a chance to. I went too busy. I was stuck behind the bar. I was bartending. I was raising money for kids. All right. Yes. We know we were trying to get your attention. At one point, we were going, "John! John!" But you didn't hear us. I was too busy with my buddies, Jack Daniel and Jose. And I was able to hear you. Oh. Well, now we know the truth. Now you know the truth. The truth is out there. I know the truth is painful sometimes. Kind of what it is, the truth. No. I did get a chance to see everyone. And that was just a great night. That was a lot of fun at the bar. Yeah, it was. For those people who aren't aware, it was a bartending part of the Marco Island weekend, which is benefiting autism. We were raising some money both doing auction items and, you know, during tickets that we had people purchase and to get drinks with them again. So I spent a lot of my time behind the bar attempting, and I used the word attempting because I'm a horrible defender. You mean like the long island ice tea that you tried to make? Please. I know how to drink them. I don't know how to make them. Well, I'll just be honest with that. I'm horrible. I mean, the guy at the bartender, I probably gave away $30 worth of inventory for, you know, for free, basically. I have no idea what I'm doing. I just used like, you know, you use all the white liquor and you throw a little bit of this and a little bit of that. And then I'm like, okay, that's great. I just know you just loaded up with alcohol and a splash of this and a dash of that and it's a drink. So I hope it came out good. I hope it was drinkable. It wasn't for me. I don't know. Okay, great. Excellent. Fantastic. I wanted to say, first of all, how excited am I that you were coming on young and arrested as the character of Bill of Chancellor IV because I have forever been saying that it makes no sense at all that Bill of the Chancellor IV never grew up and Nick Newman, who was around the same age. No, actually, I think he was younger than Bill of the Chancellor IV grew up and you could grown up. And it's like, that is just so weird. He was always a kid and he was like, oh, my God, but oh, my God. I am so excited that you're coming on. Yeah. Yeah, well, it's time, you know, it's things that come around full circle and they were bringing them back. And once I finally got the low down I was, I was very excited and believe me when I said, I've been trying to dig through everything to find out, you know, what's going on and some of which I can share and a lot of which I cannot share, unfortunately. But I know I'm. I apologize. Anything you can share? Yes, there is. There's going to be there's going to be well, you know, I will say that there's going to be a lot of drama. How about that? That works. That's all I can provide. No, he's going to be back. I mean, he's going to be there to create a lot of drama. I mean, you know, people are going to be like, is it going to be a good guy? Is it going to be a bad guy? Well, I think the, I think that the point of the character is to have him be both. You know, that's the entry. It gets, you know, you want to see the moments of where you want to see why you like the character in the first place, but at the same time you also, you want to reason to hate a character. You just, you want to see, you know, that drama, that tension. You know, you want to see the squeaky clean is nice and fun, but you know, that sometimes I can get old. I mean, a lot of times it can get old. And so I think he's going to be back to do both. I think he's going to be, he's going to be, you know, making him break in promises. So it'll be, it'll be very interesting to say the least. Well, I'll definitely be tuning in and I can't wait to see you work with some of the big tens out there. And enjoy your stay in Los Angeles. And I hope it's a long one. Thank you. Well, believe me, so do I. I hope so too. So, you know, the road starts here. So I'm excited. And thank you so much for calling in, but for being so nice and welcoming. Aw, you're so sweet. Thanks, John. Not a problem, my pleasure. Have a good night. You too. All right, thank you. I had no idea about the refinery. I had no clue. I didn't see that. I must have missed that on the news today. Yeah, I thought it was like, I thought it was a thunderstorm that was like happening. Oh, she, you heard it yourself. Oh, yeah, I heard it myself. And I was like, yeah, I thought it was thunderstorm, but it actually shook the house. Like, thunder and lightning shake a house. Not normally. And here I am turning on the news and then, yeah, here's in refinery exploding. And I was like, yeah, that's what I heard. That's nice. I like it. Wow, I hope there weren't any injuries or any fatalities. God forbid. No, no, there were no injuries. So that was good. Good. You're good. That's good to hear. That's good to hear that. Oh, we got a North, North Hampshire. There is no North Hampshire. North Hampshire. How about New Hampshire? We could try New Hampshire. New Hampshire. New Hampshire. Is that work? Yeah. Go with that one. Yeah. New. All three of us walk into the executive time. That works. Do that again. One more time. Catherine race. Hello. Hi. How are you? Hi. Howdy. Who is this? Well, this is Melissa. This is Melissa. And I was the person you actually made the Long Island iced tea for. Oh, geez, I'm sorry. I'm glad you get it. You're still alive. I am. I am. That's a good start. Okay. That's a shame. Janet and I are actually chatting aside from this. And I was like bitch. That was my life. Ouch. Ouch. I know. Yeah, love. The cloths come out. The cloths come out. Well, good. I hope you enjoyed the Long Island iced tea then. I did. Good. I did. Anyway. What do you do? I just wanted to say that I'm very excited that you're moving to Young and Restless. Thank you. I still am. And I'm actually going to have to start watching the show. Well, yes. It's never too late to start. I really appreciate that. Now, do you just not watch daytime shows at all? Or was that just not one of the ones that you watched currently? Well, I don't watch very many. I actually only watch one. I have seen some guiding lights, but I usually watch as the world turns. Okay. Okay. Are you a nuke fan? Oh, my God. Yes. The secret is out. Of course I am. All right. You know what? No. Next caller. Thanks. Appreciate it. This is not the nuke show. Hey. How many new fans have called you in a row? That's true. That is true. There you go. That is very, very true. You have quite a nuke following, whether you want to have one for tonight. You know what? You guys, that's a great thing about it. You guys mean not the fans or not. You guys are just very supportive overall. And especially when there's a lot of people that aren't very supportive. And sometimes you can throw a lot of negativity for whatever reason. Or they just like to start drawing on something like that. It's always nice to hear people that can look through and just say, you know what? We definitely appreciate the work you do day in and day out and how hard and how challenging it is. And you guys are literally there, moment by moment, minute by minute with us. And definitely very, very appreciate it. So for all the nuke fans that are out there, you guys are rocking in the ones that you know, done in Mark Lautland. You guys were amazing. So definitely, definitely would love to have you join us at Y&R. Well, you've got another one. Fantastic. I'm going to have to start DVRing that one too. Amazing. Amazing. Variety is good. So anyway, I just wanted to say hi. Thanks for the Long Island I see. And congratulations. Thank you very much. Sure to into the point. Thank you. Have a good night. Thank you. Take care. Take care. Bye bye. Bye. Nice. That was very cool. From North Hampshire. Yeah. North Hampshire. North Hampshire. All right. Got him. Yeah. That's probably why I did not get an A in that class and I got a B. Yeah. Yeah. You thought I was going to say ass. Yeah. Hey, I'm a hate. I'm going to keep my judges. You're the one running the show here. I'm going to keep my judges to myself. Shut up. Yeah. So I got to ask, you know, are you yourself? How often do you make it up to do you make it up to West Coast that often to go to like events and things like that up there? Because I know on your on your on your site, you have you have like interviews and in-person interviews and stuff like that. So I'm just I mean, what about in California in in March? I was out of California for a whole week. I did the rock to soap event over there. All right. Yeah. I've heard that. Now, what exactly the rock to soap is that? What is that? Is like a a tour with different, you know, actors from different shows like go in different cities or what? It's a part of it's a part of that. It's a part of that, but the rock to soap was like on a cruise boat for three days with different actors from from the soap and everything. Okay. And pretty much get to interact with them for like three days. Oh, that's cool. Wait, was this was was Murray Bartlett? Was he on that by chance? He was on he was on the one in January. I went to that one too. I was on that. I was on that one as well. Yeah. I did both of them. I have been busy and not to mention the fact I'm going to be out there again in August. So. Fantastic. Am I going to get a chance to be out there? You should be. I will be at the Y&R event. I will be at the I will be at the B&B event and I will be at the any awards. So I will be doing that. By the way, the Emmy awards are going to be televised this year. They are going to be televised with the other year. By the yeah, exactly by the CW. So who's going to go ahead and throw their head in the ring and give the shot this year. Which is nice. Which is going to be great. So it will be fun having a different network pick it up and like you said, this is their first year broadcasting it correct. Before it's always been at their CBS or ABC. Yes. Yeah. This will be their first year broadcasting it on the CW. So it's going to be it's going to be interesting. I think it's better to have it on a Sunday than a Friday. From me anyway. Like I normally see awards on a Sunday. So I think that's a good fit to have it on this Sunday. I think more people are definitely going to be watching. You know, because you know, when you have it on Fridays or Saturdays, you know, those are big days where people will go out and you know, go out to dinner and families and parties and stuff like that. But Sundays, you know, like the Oscars, they're on Sundays. So, you know, you're right. You're different. Right. So let's get. So our thanks to the CW for caring it then. Yeah, exactly. Last year I actually didn't have to go to the Emmys last year. You didn't? No. One of my good friends from back home was getting married. And to be honest, I just felt that it was more important to be at his wedding since that happens, you know, hopefully once in a lifetime. That's true. That's true. Yeah. One of my best friends from, you know, childhood growing up. And plus the fact if I wasn't at his wedding, he'd probably have incriminating pictures that he gets around on the internet. So I figured I'd better make good. That's bad. I do have time for one more call. Okay. One more before we ended. Okay. And this is from, hopefully I got my area card right this time. Not North Hampshire like before. Washington, D.C.? Hi, it's Scott and D.C. How are you? Hey Scott, how are you? Okay. What's going on, Scott? I've watched getting like Ann Young, the restless. Oh, hey, two for one. Very good. But I happen to be another Nuke fan. I apologize. That's fine. We've had a couple tonight and y'all have been very, very welcome and very nice. So we'll allow another one. Got the cool Nuke fan now. Scott, the cool one. Thank you. Good to see you. So hey, Scott, where are you down in? You're in D.C. Washington, D.C.? Mm-hmm. Okay, we're in D.C. I'm from Virginia. I grew up in a town called Woodbridge. Yeah. I live walking distance to the uptown theater of Connecticut by the zoo. Yep. Oh, yeah. Oh, by the zoo. By Tenley with a tenant town. It's Woodley Park and Tenley is like the next up over. That's what, okay. All right. Excellent. Yeah, it's really nice to hear you. I like your lot there. Thank you. Very good. But I want to know if you had a really funny Caitlin story, because I think she seems like such a character, like even in person. And if you had any kind of good Caitlin story. If I had any kind of good Caitlin story. Oh, my God. You know, it's Jesus. I know you got plenty, I think. She's just, she's just, I don't even know how to describe her. She's just kind of one of these in your face. You know, just the wild child loves to live in a moment and have fun. I don't even know where to begin. I mean, she's just got so many amazing stuff. I mean, funny stories, but just, you know, great stories overall. I mean, you want to talk about some drama. That girl has been through a lot in her life and then she's tackled a lot. Right. And she looks fantastic. Yeah, she doesn't, she's lost just about 100 pounds at this point. And it's been a hard, I will say it's been a hard 100 pounds to lose. But she's doing amazing. She's just got so much energy and she's so energetic and she's just so excited. She's so excited about everything. And it's kind of like, you know, a huge turn for her. And so she's been great. She's been absolutely wonderful about the whole thing. But you know what the great thing about it is that she's been the same person. You know, physically she's changed, but she's been the same person the whole time. You know, everybody's like, oh, she's great. She's wonderful. You know, she's perfect. But you know what? She was exactly the same, you know, before she had the procedure done. And, you know, I got to say that that was so amazing. People are like, oh my gosh, you know, how do you guys do the scenes? And is it weird? Are you guys like friends, but you got to do the stuff and tell the story. And I got to tell you, I mean, literally, it was just like playing with her. Like, we spent so much time together. You know, some of those scenes, like when you first kind of got together, I thought we're very poignant, very sweet. And I think it touched a lot of people. Yeah. Yeah. It was, you know, it was nice. I mean, it's as a relationship, you know, should be. You start out as friends. You know, you just kind of, you lean on each other a little bit. I mean, there's no right way or wrong way to have a relationship. But in this case, these two characters, you know, they were both going through a lot of stuff at that point. And they both just kind of needed somebody to talk to and thankfully they just had each other. I will say a funny story that had to do with work was she, oh gosh, she gave me so much crap about this. There was the, you know, I don't know the rules and regulations with what you kind of can't say on the radio, so I'm just going to come around and say there was a boner episode where work gets aroused on the shelf. You're allowed to say that. That's fine. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. Yes, Scott. You know the episode I'm talking about? The film? Yeah. It was funny. It was, yeah. It was, I read this and they were in the office. And they were, we were all in the office and the people that helped the writers, they were telling, they were giving me a hard time out. They said, oh, we got a great episode coming up. You know, like, oh, that's awesome. Was it funny? Is it dramatic? Is it? They're like, oh, it's interesting. And I'm like, oh, this is great. This is awesome. And so they didn't want to tell me about it though. So apparently Caitlyn always loved to go and she loved to find out the storylines before. And she's like, you know, just kind of prepare herself as any actor would like to. And so I guess they didn't want to let it slip to her, but they wouldn't tell me. And so I come around and everything. And I see her and we're getting ready to talk and everything. And she's like, oh my God, did you talk to the people in the office? They said, yeah. And they said, oh my God, isn't that great? You're going to get a boner on TV. And I'm like, what? And she dropped it and she's like, oh yeah, and she went on and on and on. And my jaw just dropped. And I'm like, we're doing what? And she, we're going back and forth. And she's just, she's giving me the hardest time. And so literally we're in between takes and we're doing this stuff. And she's just, she's teasing the hell out of me. And she's just totally giving me a hard time about this whole thing. And she's like, should I do a little bit of this? And she's like leaning over and we're making a joke out of it. You know, she's just, she's just razzing me the whole time. And what made matters worse was we didn't have to just film it the one day, but we had to go back the second day and we had to film it again because it was the end of, you know, the storyline in one episode, but it began the second day, it began the next day. So we had to go back and I had to reshoot this whole thing again. And she just was, she was just playing it up as big as, as big as I needed to be. And so she was just, she was really funny about that. It's literally no holds bar with her. It was wonderful. I should best of luck on one another. And I know, I think from the little tidbits I've heard, it sounds like it should be very interesting. It is. It is going to be interesting. Now, are you, you're familiar with the, with the Chancellors family or? Okay. Oh, you are. Okay. Great. Well, I can, I can pose a question to you. I mean, were you, have you watched it with Tricia cast as Nina? Were you familiar with her work prior to? Sure. What's, what's your, your perspective I should say or thoughts about her as a performer? I have a chance to, to really get a chance to witness her acting or, or see some of her work. But what are your thoughts about her? Oh, no. No, it's funny because I called, I said that to someone else. I called Nina Trish and she seems like she's gonna, she looks like a very warm. She'll be a, you know, you'll be, the age difference will be a little odd, maybe. Mm. Yeah. How, how, how so in that, in that aspect? Um, I think, you know, your mom would be, maybe in real life, like 17 years older than you. Okay. Fantastic. But, but, but, but she, she, she seems very giving and warm and she's always, um, I think the why in our fans really, to her and they love, they love bringing back the older character of the these, you know, recurring character. Right. And, um. If you had to, if you had to compare her, you know, and this is non, non, you know, gender discriminatory, you know, if you had to compare her style, uh, like put a, put a, a face, you know, being that you also watched "Gutting Light" as well, who would you say her style most closely resembles? Probably, um, going back, that, that's Ellers. That's Ellers? Mm-hmm. Oh, wow. That's, oh, that's good to know. That, and I, I asked, I'd not know any answer to that. I, I generally ask that other question, you know, purely to, to help me out. So, uh, I, I do appreciate it. You, you, you had things with, with stuff, didn't you? I did. Uh, you know, a lot of the stuff, you know, was, was the group stuff, but there were a couple of scenes, um, that, uh, you know, most, most notably, um, there was stuff when, uh, Beth Eller, the Harley character, had that split personality going on and there was time when she was in a room, she was staying in a room or something like that. And Coop and Harley just had some really hard to hard moments about life and what was going on and things like that. I got a chance to work with her and it was just fun. It was just like we're conversing right now on the phone, on the radio and stuff like that. It's kind of the same thing and so that really does help a lot. Thank you, Scott. I appreciate that. That's my two cents. Well, it's very welcome and as I said, I do appreciate it. And thank you very much for your kind words. I'm flattered and I'm looking forward to jumping on board. This is showing doing some great work alongside some of these wonderful actors. Beth, look, thank you, bud. I appreciate it. Thank you so much, man. You too, Madam. Bye. All right. All right. As you promised, yes. We come to that point where you do that promo for this show. All right. What am I saying? Tell me exactly what I need to say. What do you need to say? What would you like? All right. And this is me. Okay, this is me. And if I was doing a promo for another show, then I would probably be like this. Hey, this is Nabelle Jaylee and you are listening to Buzzworthy Radio, the only place where you can get what is happening right now on the air with your favorite stars. Peace. But that's me. You have to be original. God, can we have you say that, but can we just insert my name? That's fantastic. Yeah, I know. I will tell you what. Let me see what I can muster up here and you just tell me when you're ready. You're on. I'm on. Hey, everybody. This is John Driscoll from Young and the Restless. And you are listening to Buzzworthy Radio, the only place where you can get the low down, the dish, the what's happening, the what's going on and what is coming up next on your favorite soaps. Stick around and listen in. I like that. And you came up with that off the top of your head. That's good. I tried. I tried. You want to do one more? Are we good with that one? We do it again. I think it cut out for like just a second. Oh, it just cut out. Okay. All right. We'll do it again. All right. Hey, everybody. This is John Driscoll from Young and the Restless, the new Philip Chancellor, the fourth. You are listening to Buzzworthy Radio right now with Navell. Stay tuned for what's coming up, what's happening, what's going on, and what will be coming up, what drama to be expected on your favorite soaps. Listen in. Nice. Yeah, man. Yeah, boy, yeah, boy, man. Well, Navell, dude, I really appreciate me. I have fours of charm in this case and thank you for bringing me back. And I'd love to, again, as I always say, I'd love to come back and listen in and as well as talk about my first couple of days on the show and see how things are going in touch base. If you'll have me, that is. Hey, the door is always open for you to come back, man. Absolutely. I appreciate it. That door will never be shut. Good. Well, I know there's the big event for Y&R in August, so hopefully just before then and after I get a couple months into my belt on the show, I'd love to come back in and just touch base. So let's try and work that out. Yeah, I will be out there in California for a little while. I will be out there for a week again. Okay. We'll hook it up. Absolutely. I appreciate it, man. And thank you to all the collars tonight. It was definitely great getting a chance to talk to everybody. Absolutely. I will talk to you. Yeah, yeah. Oh, no, absolutely. Everyone's just super, super cool. Everyone's just super cool and very warm and welcoming. So I definitely, I always love that. Everyone's always so cool on the show. So definitely appreciate it, but I will let you go. I will stop talking your ear off. And let's try and hook it up for later on this summer. I'll come back on and we'll shoot the 411 then. Absolutely. Take care. Have a good night. Yep. Later. Later. Wow. That wraps it up, ladies and gents, for tonight. Late bloomer. I know you're here. Come on. You are unmuted now. Oh, come on now. Are you putting me on now? I'm like, "Oh, fine." I was like, "Hey, what is going on?" I had a class tonight, but hey, what's up? That show went great. I'm okay with it. You had a good time. It was. We got some new faces into this round. So that was really good. I like that. I know we got some regular people that came in, but I wanted to flesh in the new collars tonight. We had some new collars come in, so that was really good. Everybody's showing their support for John on Y&R, so that was like a sure thing. But yeah, I don't know when we're going to be back. I am doing some things outside of the show, so that's kind of taking up my time right now. And obviously, I'm not mentioning it on air because I don't want to. But I'm not telling anybody about it. I'm not going to. It's not happening. So if you want to know, you can message me. I will tell you off air, but I'm not going to air my dirty laundry on here because I don't want to. But we will be trying some stuff, and if John does give us what he was talking about earlier, I would love to get that hook up with getting some guy like people on the show after the fact of the news of his cancellation. You missed that part, by the way. I wanted to fill you in. Go back to here, which you guys can always listen to in the archive. Yes, that is absolutely correct. So there is that too, so hopefully we'll get that hook up done. But until then, the next time we are on, this is Navell, and Matt's on it off, making sure you guys stay tuned to get the latest buzz with the radio. We'll see you guys next time.
