We're going to have the chat and running up very, very, very shortly. Our guest, when I said guest, we have an on two guests today. That's why it's two hours today, gentlemen. First up, we're going to have on Tristol Chappelle. She'll be calling in about 5 minutes. From the guiding line, she played the role of Olivia Spencer. In our second half of our program, at 5 p.m. Eastern time, 2 p.m. Pacific, we're going to be joined by Mary Beth Evans. Recently, she played the role of Caleb Brady on NBC Daytime's days for our lives. So we're going to have a special exit interview with her. To get in all the festivities, what's happening today on buzzworthy radio, our first show of the day, we're going to have on two shows today. One right now, and then we're going to be back again at 8 p.m. Eastern time after this set is over. If you want to get in on fun, you can call us at 646-595-4228, or you can shoot us an email at buzzworthyradio@gmail.com, or navigate to buzzworthyradio.net. As I said, the chat room is going to be running up very shortly. So all you guys, with all of your questions, make sure you start heading into the chat room as we speak. Now, I don't know about you guys. I've been pretty much keeping track of all this week. I cannot believe it. It finally happened. And I have to say, it has been a very, very interesting week on "Godding Life." I've not seen so much of a huge change ever on this show in my whole life. I mean, it was a really, really rapid change, and it's a good change. I'm so happy with the direction that it's going in right now. Having Grant Alexander back on the show has been a huge, huge, huge hit for them, and also bringing back Krista Tesro in the role of Mindy. Even though it's a short because a few days stint, we're still going to have her back here on the show, so it's actually very, very good. So I'm very pleased with what's happening on the program right now. Also, I think I want to give you some dates to before I forget. In three weeks from today, Rock the Soap takes place. So if you guys have not bought your tickets, make sure you buy them now before it's too late. Rock the Soap takes place from Friday, March 20th to 23rd, 2009. So make sure you guys check that out. You can go to www.rockthesoap.com. So make sure you guys check that out there. Now also, make sure you guys also check out our shows within the next week. We're going to be having Ashley Argatta from the Nickelodeon TV show True Jaxon VP. So check her out there. She plays the role of Lulu. Make sure you guys check that out as well. I see a lot of you guys are already on the line waiting for it to happen. Hopefully, I can pinpoint our guest here. Hopefully, I got her. Crystal, is this you? Crystal, you're there. May not be her. Let's try that again in just a few seconds. But I do see that we have on somebody who is an integral part of the show. And that is my co-host, Matthew Preston. How are you doing? I am doing great. I am just so excited for today's show. And I think that the fans are too. If you are searching for me in a pile of those numbers on the Switchboard, then it must be a good show. I actually am because it's absolutely crazy on my phone lines right now. That's a good thing. It's going to be a cue to try to find out which is which. So it's going to be quite a hackish experience. Hey, as the listeners do know, we do like to sometimes play. What is it like we need to call the lottery game, the guest lottery game, where sometimes you don't know exactly what area codes they're calling from and they have to find them. Sometimes when we find these guests, other guests like to call in before. So you never know what you're going to find. No, you don't. So this is going to be very, very interesting. Like I said, I've still got another two minutes before. She's actually supposed to call in. So all we've called, "Get worn up." The chat room is up and running. So all you guys are listening to the show now, if you want to get into the chat room, what you're going to need to do is refresh the page in your browser. It will refer you to operate the chat room. So make sure you guys start doing that so you can get in here and start chatting away or plug in your questions. Definitely going to be taking them on air. We're going to get to as many callers as we possibly can within the next 45 minutes. So all of you guys sitting there on the line, just be patient. We're definitely going to be getting to you. So now we're going to start trying to find out which one is this Crystal Chappelle. So let's start ongoing area code 908, this Crystal. Hi. Hi. How are you? Good. How are you? I'm really good. Thank you. This is you. You got it on the first one? There you go. Awesome. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Wow. I just picked the first number that I saw and I was like, is this her? Because the area code was recognizable. So I was like, let's try this one. And then it was you. There you go. Nice. Thank you so much for coming on to the show today. It's a pleasure to meet you. My pleasure. Yeah. Same to you. Are you ready? We're good. We're good on this Friday afternoon. That's pretty much-- EIF. Exactly. That's trying to start raining or something. But a fact of that, you know, you play this delicious character on that in light. I call-- I always call her that ever since you started on the show. Delicious. Eleven. That's Olivia Spencer. [ Laughter ] How do you call me delicious? Why don't you? Exactly. See? There you go. See, it's a nice name, isn't it? It is. Dean. The shortness. And you've been playing this since 1999. And by the way, you won an Emmy Award for your role. Congratulations. Thank you very much. Five years too late. [ Laughter ] It was well deserved, absolutely. Thank you. Very much. How-- in your own words, how would you describe Olivia? Delicious. [ Laughter ] She, you know, she's the worst parts of any woman. And the most sensual parts of any woman. And, you know, it's-- she serves a purpose, which is to create, you know, she wants to make things happen. But I've always loved that about her. That she can be just at the little left of the moral center. She tends to go that way. But she's capable of being, you know, a decent person at times. And I've appreciated being able to, you know, it's almost cathartic for me in a way to go in. Yeah. You know, I get paid to be snotty. [ Laughter ] Basically. She does kind of come off as campy sometimes, and we love that. Yeah. Yeah, I do too. And I just feel like, you know, as an actress, it's fun because she-- you know, people wouldn't be surprised if she does certain things. If she's nice or she goes too far and in a sort of a nice direction, they're not surprised, you know? So I kind of like that. So have you ever had, like, a really, you know, a fun Olivia moment where you're just like, I cannot wait to be so mean to this character? Is there ever a time you can recall? You know, I have so many moments. I used to terrify me to open my script because I was afraid of what I was going to read. And I remember, you know, when I was having trouble with the Ava character before I knew she was my daughter, and I had to-- Yeah. I opened the script and it says, you know, Olivia gets behind the wheel of the car and tries to run her over. [ Laughter ] And I went, oh, boy. Well, okay. You know, and that's, yeah, it was challenging. But it doesn't surprise me. Nothing surprises me. The funniest, hardest thing I've ever had to do was coming back after having my first child about five weeks after I had him. And they had a love scene for me. My husband walks in and I'm standing there wrapped in saran wrap. And I was like, pull a tighter wardrobe department. Maybe I'll lose a few pounds, you know? But you just don't feel that sensual five weeks after you've had a child. And I'm sitting there eating grapes and wearing saran wrap. So. Wow. A ran wrap. I've never heard of that until this. No, wow. Well, I like to give ideas to the public. Oh. Kitchen product. Oh, you're listening out there. [ Laughter ] Now, you've also started in Days of Our Lives, which is where I first got to see you. And of course, everybody knows the infamous storyline where you were buried alive, which is where I got into it. Wow. Basically. Yeah. And someone, a fan actually, wanted me to ask you this. What was the like doing that storyline? How tough was it? You know, it was, I thought it was really a lot of fun because, you know, that's not a storyline that is presented to me that often. And, you know, they made it very easy for me. They had cut out the side of the coffin, so I wasn't completely, you know, enclosed. And I just thought it was a lot of fun. It was very fun to, you know, work with Louise Thorell and my husband, Michael Sabatino. And, you know, it was just sort of an interesting moment for that character. So, of course, she comes out of it with Amnesia. So. Another classic thought story. It was a lot of fun. Would you ever want to do something like that again? If Olivia had to be buried alive, would you want to do that? You know, once you do it once, you can't get enough of it. Sure. You know, it's a challenging, it creeps you out to think about being buried alive. It's just a creepy feeling. But, you know, as an actor and as a viewer, I think it'd be kind of titillating. So, sure, I do it. So, we actually have to talk about the current guiding light story line involved in Olivia. And it's kind of, I think, very interesting because it's involving your co-star, Jessica Wasia, as Natalia. What can you tell us about this story line? Well, it's one that we were told about over a year ago. So, it's been in the works for quite some time. And, you know, these are two women who share a love for this man. And he, of course, dies and Olivia's in need of a heart. And this is what connects them initially, this heart. And Natalia wanted to keep the heart alive and keep her husband's spirit alive and Olivia trying to die because she feels so guilt-ridden. And it was completely antagonistic. These are two opposite women. They could not be more different. And they slowly learned to, just with life happening as it does, Natalia with her financial issues and Olivia, with her illness, grow to depend on each other. And eventually, they figure out that they can be civil to each other. And they form a friendship and then a family by moving in together and sharing the responsibilities of Olivia's eight-year-old daughter. So, it was such a slow-moving story and so well-crafted. The intention only being to watch these two women who are very different, grow to form, you know, a loving relationship. So, as things have moved on and progressed and now there's a man in Natalia's life, there are all these other feelings that are surfacing for both these characters. So, we're just sort of exploring what that means and telling a kind of love story. Is that where you want to see it progress? Is it in that direction? Did you want to see it progress into another direction? Where do you want to see the story go? Well, they have kids, even though it was mostly a non-romantic kid. But I think that, you know, certainly I would like to see them explore what that means and I think there are romantic feelings between the two of them. It isn't just about liking their little farmhouse and raising Emma and it's about the companionship and the appreciation now that they have for each other and having that, you know, very real thought of I don't want to wake up and not see your face. I really like this and, you know, I would hope that there's something physical that comes out of that. That's usually how, you know, people express their love. So, I wouldn't doubt that that would happen down the road. Okay, very nice, very nice. And I know other people have questions besides us hosts, and if you would like to, we've got a bunch of people on the line waiting to talk to you. So, do you want to take some collars? Oh, I'd love to, absolutely. All right, let's start bringing them on, though, a bunch of you. Let's just go down the line. All right, area code 314, sorry, I'm not good with area code here, but 314, you're on the line right now. How are you? 314. Oh, no. Sorry, I didn't call back. They hung up, so we'll call back. Absolutely. Time's a good shot. All right, we definitely got someone on here who I know definitely wants to talk to you. Our friend Brandon's on the line. How are you, sir? Hey, Navell. Hey, Matt. How you doing? We're doing good. How are you? I'm doing well. Hi, Crystal. How are you? I'm good. Hi, Brandon. I'm a big fan of yours for a long time. Well, thank you. I want to ask you about some work you did back in the mid '90s on my favorite show, One Life to Live. You came onto that show with a great bit of fanfare, and I don't know, the head writer who created your character got let go soon after you arrived there, and you kind of got lost in the shuffle a little, but I'm just wondering if you could talk about some of your experiences on that show, and if you enjoyed it. Oh, yeah, I mean, that's all true. The head writer was like a couple months after I came on board, and they just didn't know what I was doing there, I think, for a long time. But, you know, I had the best time on that show. It was the worst character for me, obviously, because I didn't do anything. And in fact, they got me into juggling toward the end of that. They made me a nun, and then I started -- Yeah. Yeah. I was a juggling nun. But, you know, I never quite mastered the free ball juggle, so I'm a little disappointed. But I had the best time on that show, and I still -- I'm very close with the people on that show, and loved going to work there. There are a really good group of people. No real specifics that we used to hang out. You know, I used to love sitting at a sit-and-talk with Phil Carey, and he would tell me about his old Warner Brother days, and the contracts he had, and then Bucky, Clint Richie, and Woodsy, and we'd all go out. And, you know, go to a little bar and hang out. And it was just a lot of fun. They were really, really dear people. Are you still in touch with Jim Defyver or John LaPreno, or any of those guys? John and I haven't spoken to a while. We were in touch for a while. I know he's writing, and he moved back to the Midwest. And Jim, I do see every now and again. Excellent. Okay. Well, you were so great on that show, and you're a terrific actress, and I'm a big fan of this for a long time. It was a great deal talking to you. Thanks, Brandon. Thanks for calling. Thanks for bringing me on. Thanks, Brandon. Bye-bye, Brandon. Great guy. Also, check out his show on blogs called Brandon Buzz, weeknight to 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Definitely check it out. He's a great, great, great, great guy, great host to follow it. Let's bring on our next caller from area code 812. You're on the line right now. How are you? I did one too. You're there. Hello. You got another one who's called. It's one too. Call back if you can. All right. Let's take this one from Pennsylvania. I believe I know who this caller is. How are you from 260 to Pennsylvania? Hi. Hey, jammy. How are you? I'm good. How are you guys doing? Was it awesome that you called in? Oh, that's always good to hear. Hello, Crystal. Hi. How are you? I'm really, really good. How are you? I'm doing good. Thanks. I watched you. I just have to let you know. I'm like a big fan. I watched you back on days by life. I think that was where I first caught sight of you during the very live story life. So that was really cool and I've loved you ever since just to let you know. I was very excited when you went to Guiding Light and created the character of Olivia and she's just been a trip. I love her. It's so fun to hate her. She's like one of those characters you love. I felt really bad when she got totally mixed up with still up. It's so nice to hear when people appreciate how disturbed she can be. It really is quite a compliment. I did have a question for you. I know you've worked with them. I think on two different shows together. What's it like working with your husband? Would you like to do that again? I have a great respect for him. I've always thought he was. He's awesome too by the way. Thank you. I would love to work with him. It's actually a little more aware of what you're doing because you're so used to being around each other. I found when I worked with the Montgomery Light that I was a little self-conscious because I was afraid I was going to be flirting with him or something and not realize it. It's a little bit harder because you have to be more mindful. He's made a career out of playing smarmy characters. I'd certainly play smarmy with him. That'd be fun. That's cool. Thank you very much. I'm sure other people have more questions. I'm not going to keep you on. I'm very excited to talk to you. You too. Thank you. Thanks for that. Absolutely. Bye. Bye-bye. Cool. Who else is on the line? Because I'm sure there's, like she said, there are probably just tons of people who want to talk to our guests. They really are. They're showing so much support for Crystal. It's absolutely amazing. I love it. Eric Houda, 405. You're on the line right now with Buzzray and Crystal. How are you? Hi. Hi. What's your name? Kristi. Kristi. Hi. Well, first I want to say I loved you from days of my life. The first day you were on the line, I was like, wait, who's this? I have to watch now. Oh, wow. Thank you. Well, I also took my top off on the first day, didn't I? See, I didn't even remember that. Mindful, I saw the cook again. Yeah. You know, I remember it obviously because that was my first day. What made you what? Right. I don't know how to do that on TV. Oh, yeah. Well, thank you. That had been an awkward first day. You know, it just was. And that's just one of those things where you go, well, I got the job. Thank goodness. And, you know, you just have to do it and try and fall, fall quickly to the floor. So, you know, not too weird, but yeah. Well, I got a whole list of questions, but I think I'm going to go ahead and do a one that's relevant to the storyline. Okay. And that you're currently doing on that line. The storyline itself has been getting a lot of praise for the attention to detail and to the wife's moment. And I was wondering what was something that you've noted, maybe stuck out to you as something that was particularly real and storyline. Good question. It is a good question. You know, I wasn't, I'll be honest with you, I wasn't so sure in that approach that the, you know, people would want to see these two ladies, you know, packing them as lunch and, you know, planning they work day together and, you know, juggling schedules. I wasn't sure people would be interested. So, but it's the overall structure of the story that's really stood out. I told my executive producer and Jill Lori Hurst, one of our head writers that what I did in this is a daytime fan is a slow building story that, you know, to trust that fans like myself would actually, you know, be okay with taking some time with this. So that's the fan in me, you know, on the other side of this. The actor was, I was much more, you know, concerned that maybe okay people are going to get bored and tune out. So I've learned a lot. I've learned a lot of really good lessons in the storyline and just to trust that, you know, you can build things slowly and, you know, give just details like lunch packing and things like that. And it's about the relationship and the people, you know, will invest if it's told well. Yeah, those are some of the points that we love watching. So, yes, you're definitely right about that. And I'm glad to do it to you. Yeah, no, no, I mean, it was really a compliment to them because this is really been, you know, Ellen Wheeler sat me down, sat Jessica down in January of '08. And said we have permission and approval to tell this story. And it's going to be complicated and are you comfortable? And so, you know, this has really been their doing. And I'm very proud of the show for, you know, going there and for, you know, taking good care of it. Well, that's great. That's very sweet. I'm going to let somebody else have a turn there. Thank you very much. Thank you. Cool. Thank you for calling in. So, who else do we have out there? I'm sure we have some people. What about the chat room? Navell, I know you were running the chat room. I have. Technology never worked with me. So, let me take some chat questions out there. What are they saying? What are they asking? Well, they actually asked something that I forgot about. And they just brought it to my attention. Brandon asks us another question about you working with Joan Collins when she plays with Alexandra. What was that like? Oh, she was fantastic. She was just, she was Joan, you know. But she, she was also, you know, on camera she would just, you know, come at you. But I was, you know, huge fan from the dynasty. And I thought, "Oh my God, I'm actually playing opposite this woman." And there are these two characters that are absolutely caddy. And it was, it was fun. It was a blast. But she's also a lady that would, you know, would sit down and, you know, in her jeans and have a drink with you. And, you know, she was, she was, she let her hair out, so to speak. And it was a lot of fun to, to play with her. She used to call me, she got me, "The Good Crystal or The Nice Crystal?" Referring to, I guess, the character on bite of these. "Oh, it's the Nice Crystal, come here." [laughter] But, yeah. But no, she was just, she was a very dear woman. I actually have to admit that whenever they, CBS, was promoting that, that's actually, that was sort of the, I guess, the spinter, you know, the plot that really caught me into guiding light. That was actually, you know, so that's, you know, sort of watching you and watching the light. That was it. I think it was so good, even when she left, I think it was still a great show. So, I stayed with you guys. Great. I'm so glad. I'm so glad. We had a rough year. We had a rough year, but we're actually doing much, much better. You're doing fantastic. I was mentioning it before you got here. It's just been a complete and utter change over with everything that's happening now, with Grant Alexander being back on the show, which is absolutely wonderful, fantastic. He would definitely miss by a lot of the fans, myself included. And it's great to have him back on the show and how they'd like to see him again, working with him again. You know, Grant was always a very strong presence amongst the cast. You know, he cares so much about the show, and obviously it has a long relationship with it. But he's just a very smart person and a smart actor. So, you know, it would be, it was fun to work with him because he would have all kinds of interesting thoughts on how to approach the work. And as far as, you know, the character of Philip is just so pivotal. There's so many different stories and connected to so many people that there's just so much you can do. It just makes the whole town, I think he sort of connects the whole town in a certain way. So, you know, in Grant's just fun to have around. He's got a great sense of humor and works hard and, you know, it's, it's fun. We have a really fun group, I have to say, everybody's, we laugh. We laugh so hard. It's not a serious place at all. In fact, it's, I said before, it's kind of criminal that we get paid to come in and, you know, act for a living and then laugh our butts off, really. [Laughter] Seriously. Oh, my goodness. Maybe I should apply for that job. Yeah. Yeah. I'm telling you, if you can get it. You know, have fun on the workplace. Mm-hmm. [Laughter] Let's take some more colors here. Ernie, code 512, you're on the line right now. How are you? 512, you're on air. Hello. 512, you're out there. You know, like a couple of times, just so you know, I couldn't get through. [Laughter] You know what's the same thing after me? Sorry about that. Technology. It's totally technology. Now she brings it up. [Laughter] Sorry. [Laughter] That's funny. Let's, let's take this one. This is Destiny, I believe. Destiny, are you on the line? Destiny, are you with it? Is it Destiny? Shall we talk to us? I don't know. We'll find out. She runs the Italian fan site. Oh, okay. Really? Yeah. Pretty cool. Hopefully she's hearing me call her now saying she's on the air. Destiny, you're with us. Or not. I don't know. One more time. Destiny. Oh, no. All right then. We'll definitely try again for you, and we'll take this next one from 931. Oh, my gosh. I can't hear you call her now. She's on the air. Hold on. Let me... Yup, she hung up there. Oh, no. Call back in. Move your speakers when you do that. The next time you call in 931, so make sure you have your speakers muted. 706, we're going to take you now. How about that? 706, you're with us now. How are you? Hi. How are you? Good. I just wanted to tell Crystal how much we are enjoying her current story line. Destiny wanted to get through so bad, so if she calls back, you've got to take that call. I absolutely want to talk to her. Absolutely. I love the fans of the site, and it's... I've just been so overwhelmed, and so is Jessica, the amount of support that all of you have given us. My question has more to do with your character. Olivia has so many great liners, and you deliver them so brilliantly. I'd just want to know if you add Lib or if it's always scripted. No. I mean, some of them are scripted. The writers have taken to my... I'm that person. I'm the one who throws in the one-liner, and I have done my... They've let me go at times and throw some in, but they pretty much have me down. So, you know, they build in these natural zingers for her, and I love that. It's just kind of fun, and, you know... Again, I get paid to be rude and sarcastic, just ridiculous. You deliver it perfectly, so... You can do that every day. Thank you. Yeah, you and Jessica have really made guiding my CTV for me again. That's so great. So, you're enjoying the story, and what do you think should happen with these women? I want to speak to them. You know, the sooner the better. I'm loving the angst and, you know, enjoying every minute, but... You know, we're ready for it to move to the next level. But there is some interesting concessions to happen around the time of the wedding. But from the beginning of April, right? I believe. It might be March. I'm not sure. I could find out for you. And they'll put it out there. But yeah, the two of the ladies finally speak some very true words. Pretty cool. Those are going to be some great scenes. No, I hope so. We're actually going to go out and tape them this week. Okay. Well, we're all definitely looking forward to it. I know there's a lot of other people who want to call in. Thank you for you. I'm going to go. But yeah, keep it up, man. We're loving every minute. Great. Thanks. Thank you so much. Thank you for coming. So, speaking of taping, the guiding line is actually, as of last year, started a new sort of trend in a way and sort of following what the visuals have done. And what is it like for you taping the new way? It's not the typical stage and using big cameras. So, what is it like the new way that the guiding line has adopted? I think we've all grown to really love it. You know, we have our scripts, like prime time, episodic, their film scripts. And we shoot like at the film. We sometimes do things in parts and it's much more intimate and you have a lot more freedom because the cameras can move. So, I love it. I love it. I think it gives the directors a freedom to tell the story in an interesting way. We've had to learn how to do it. And we've got to learn in front of everybody. But, you know, you learn quickly when you have to. But as an actor, it's been absolutely fine. Absolutely fine. And we actually all enjoy coming out to New Jersey and filming. And the town has been great to us. You know, I think it feels more real. So, we're really enjoying it. It does. For sure. Absolutely. Absolutely. And I think that's when you try to call in again. Let's see if we can get her back here on the line now. Destiny, are you with us again? Take care of her. Destiny, are you with us again? I don't think she's able to get through. Try to call in on your landline, hon. Destiny. That's what I had to do. Yeah. See, take the advice that someone knows. Call in on the landline. And it will definitely get you here because I think we're having trouble with this line that you're calling in from. So, definitely, definitely try it from the landline or from your cell phone. So, we'll definitely look out for you. Let's see if we can try to take this next one. Five, eight, five. You are next on the line with both William Crystal. How are you? Five, eight, five. Are you with us? Wow. Wow. I heard that. That's all they're about today. You know, they must be so happy because it's Friday. Maybe they're just so happy that it's Friday that they're just, you know, they're enjoying their day. I don't know. But hopefully they're also enjoying their enjoying the day with us. Two, eight, one. Let's keep going. Rolling here. Two, eight, one. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hi, I'm good. How are you? Good. How are you? Great. Hi, Crystal. How are you? Great. I don't have any questions. I just really admire you as an actress and a mom. And I love your current storyline. And it's very believable. And I think it's some of the best acting I've ever seen you do. Well, thank you. And I'm an all-days of our live fan and have been watching you tubing all the reruns. It's a new addiction. But you're too great. But anyway, I just really admire you. And you have a beautiful family. You're a great actress. Oh, thank you. I've got a little one there too, don't you? Yeah, Jacob right now is trying to get something out of the fridge. Sorry about that. That's okay. Hello. He's three. And then Sam is five. Oh, great. And Sam a boy. Yeah. Yes. Both boys. And they're loud, aren't they? Yes. Yeah. And I thought I wanted a girl, but I'm like, oh, I don't know if I can deal with that whole teenage, you know, thing going on. But I'm just nervous and shaking. I can't believe I got through what I'm talking to you. So glad you didn't see me. I'm sorry. Oh, no. Please, please. We're all good. It's all cheesy. But anyway, I am looking forward to your future scenes. And like I said, it's just very believable and interesting. And I definitely support it. And I just think you're great. And you have a wonderful family. And not that I know you, but just from your websites and stuff. You just seem like a great gal. So, well, thank you. I mean, you too. I am, you know, I'm like you. I'm just trying to juggle, you know. I come home from work and I'm doing third grade homework. I'm literally doing, I'm going through third grade again. Right. And, you know, you make dinner and one of them wants mac and cheese and the other one wants hot dogs. Oh, cool. Yes. Okay. I'm not. The joy being a mom, isn't it? It is the joy. It's a privilege to do it. But, you know, it's the hardest job there is. Oh, gosh, it is. Oh. It definitely is. Well, it's like it's something to eat. I will. Yeah. Before I get fucked up. Well, you take care and you just keep doing what you're doing. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. That's so sweet. I love that. I love that. He wants something in the fridge, I guess. Yeah, man. You know, I like it. I like that. It's so real, though. I love it. Let's take this car from South Carolina. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hi. Hi. Somebody there? I heard something in the background. I thought it was her speaking. South Carolina caller from 843. You're on the line. Oh, just breathing. All right. Oh, no. Yeah, you know, it happens. Bye. Yep. Erika 516. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hello. Hello, 516. Hello. Hi. You're on the air. Oh, you're on the air. Are you there? Hello. Oh, don't go shy enough now. Because I heard you. Come on. Come on. We heard you say hello. I'm going to talk to the, as we said, the delicious Crystal Chappelle. I think they've fainted on the line, man. Oh, no. Do you see the effect you have on all these fans? Isn't that awesome? Is that what it is? I don't know. That's what it is. I really do. I think it's what it is. You know, I wish you enough to start talking to you. So, you know, I think you have that effect on me, too. Come on, buddy. There you go. Erika, code 336. You're on the line. How are you? Good. How are you? Good. Yeah, a lot of fun. What are we talking with? My name is Shannon. Hi, Shannon. Hi. I just really, again, I wanted to say that I have been enjoying the storyline as well. But I also wanted to say that I'm just very appreciative that the, that you guys on the show have let the storyline play out the way it has been. It's more realistic. It's more believable. And, you know, I think there's still so many negative attitudes out there that it's just good to see, you know, that it is about, you know, packing the lunch and supporting each other and doing those things that are part of a relationship. So. Absolutely. No, I agree with you. I think it's, you know, our intention from the very beginning was not to throw labels out there. It narrows the scope of what we can do. And we wanted to just simply tell a love story. And we've sort of been, you know, discovering things as we've gone along. So, you know, I think I'm, I agree with you. I'm grateful that they, you know, in the end let things just play out slowly and more realistically. But I'm glad you're enjoying it. Absolutely. And, you know, I have enjoyed watching it play out, but I do hope that it'll bloom into a romantic relationship. But again, just very appreciative. And I like it. So I just wanted to let you know. Well, thank you. Thank you so much. Absolutely. And I think you won't be too disappointed. I hope not. But either way, I still love the character. And I have enjoyed, you know, you know, what we've gotten out of it. And I think it's a good way to present things to people who, you know, don't understand that it's about more than a sexual relationship, so. Very good. Yes. Thank you. Thanks. Thank you so much. And take care. Thanks. Bye. Bye. Very, very wonderful. Let's take this next colleague here from hopefully a live one. 443, you're on the line right now. How are you? Hello? Hi. How are you? Hi. Hi. Yes. This is. Hi, Crystal. Hi. I just wanted to say that I've actually been watching you on Guiding Lights since I was like 12 when you came on the show. I'm very old at the moment. I can do the math. No, I'm sorry. Go ahead. Sorry to interrupt. No, but I just, I really love what you've done with the character of Olivia. Because I remember her like back in San Cristobal and like how she was like so wicked and how you've transformed her to be like so human and so relatable. I love the character of Olivia through her worst times. Oh, thank God. And she like seriously been my favorite character for a very long time. Very glad. Thank you. I think you're an amazing actress, not to mention gorgeous. And I love this current storyline too. Oh, good. I'm so glad. Have you been watching Guiding Lights just for the 10 years that you've been watching for a long time? I was watching it a little while before that. My mom and I started watching it when she got laid off work one summer and have been watching ever since. And so I was watching it for a little while. I can't remember exactly how long. But yeah, you've been like my favorite for a very long time. I'm so glad. That's so nice. And yeah, it's been fun. It's been fun. I had a really hard time with all the good stuff in the beginning because I felt, I felt, I wasn't, you don't, not supposed to speak to people that way. I had to create a great person in real life. I very briefly met you at the Find Your Light in Baltimore. Oh, cool. Yeah. And I just remember like I complimented you and you just seemed so humble. And I was like, oh my gosh, that's so not Olivia. Oh, yeah. Oh my gosh. Yeah, no, it's a fun skin to put on when I go to work, but you got to take it off because, you know, that's just, that's, she's very interesting. I do enjoy the character and it's by far the most interesting character I've played. So I'm glad. I'm really, really glad you stuck with her. Thank you so much. Gosh. Wasn't the Find Your Light thing still? The Find Your Light thing was so great too. It wasn't in Baltimore. Oh, yeah. It was awesome. Like I love that a soap hopper cast went out and did all of that volunteering. I just thought that was amazing. Yeah. I agree. I'm glad you were there. I'm glad you showed up. Yeah. No, really. Thank you. Thank you so much. Keep watching. Keep watching. I will. Okay. So Crystal, actually, I do have a question for you. This is a question I've always wanted. If we ever had you on the show, I did want to ask you this. What was it like? I do remember A on YouTube. This clip is on YouTube. Whenever Olivia got into a mud fight with Cassie, how much fun was that? Oh, we had a blast. We had Laura Wright and I had such a blast. You know, we would always joke that we're just a couple of, you know, Maryland girls. You know, Maryland girls don't hold back. So she was like, "Okay. The mud is cold. We're wearing white and we're just going to get dirty." Yeah. Yeah. And it was, it was, we had the best time. The hardest part about that was it was a pick up the next day. So, you know, initially we fell into the mud and we started flinging it. Well, we had to go, you know, the next day we were all nice and clean. We had to go roll around in the mud and it was freezing. Oh. It was freezing. And of course, people were trying to tell us that it was really good for the skin. I was like, "I don't know if I'm buying that." I think that's a different kind of mud. But yeah, yeah, it was, it was a great time. Lauren and I, you know, we, we were connected over that mud fight. It was really fun. Absolutely. I believe we finally have the person we've been trying to get off for a while now. Finally going from a landline phone. Destiny, are you finally here with us? Can you hear me now? Yes. Oh, good. Whoa. Loud and clear, baby. Because that was a disaster. It's nice to talk to you finally, too. Tell me your real name. My real name? Yeah, can you? It's April. April. Okay. Pretty cool. How are you? I'm good. I'm tired. Probably not as tired as you. I'm doing, I'm okay. I had a day off, so I'm not, I'm not too tired. I'm actually okay. Well, that's good. But I want to thank you so much for, you know, the sight and, um, it's been overwhelming. I've been so appreciative of all the support that, and all the work that you put into, um, you know, supporting the story. It's been, it's been amazing. It's really been amazing. It's been pretty overwhelming, but, but I don't do it alone. I have a huge team and the biggest thing is we just like the way the story is being told. People were invested and they were invested before they even knew what was going on. Yeah. Yeah. Right, of course. And that was, um, yeah, I mean, again, I, I was, I knew what was going to happen. It's January of last year, but, um, you know, I, I wasn't sure how they were going to do it, and, and we weren't sure if the story was going to get pulled. Um, and, uh, and I think that because of the time that they took with it and the care that, that people were allowed to sort of unknowingly invest in this relationship and, and absolutely, it's something you almost thinks that soap uppers forgot how to do. Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm really enjoying what I'm doing. And people have asked me lately, what, if I, you know, what, if I could do anything, would I do something different and meaning another story? And I said, I really know. This is, this is what I want to do. This is the story. It shows your work's been brilliant. Well, thanks. Thanks. And I, you know, Jesse's just been phenomenal to work with. And it's all been really, really positive, so I'm, I'm grateful. I'm glad. I do have a question though. Okay. But it's kind of a, it's, it's, it goes back away. Oh, after playing Olivia for, for 10 years, you have to know her pretty much as well as you know yourself. Mm hmm. How significant of a relationship do you think this will be with Natalia? And do you think that it could possibly take Olivia full circle to having the kind of relationship she expressed to Harley that she wanted way back before her suicide attempt? Um, yeah, I, I, I think this is, you know, the one relationship. I think because it, it's so unexpected for her. Um, you know, as a, as a woman who's barely, um, almost gotten along with other females, uh, it's taken her so by surprise that, um, it sort of forced her to stop and really, you know, investigate what love is to her. And, um, I, I think it's kind of settled her, grounded her. So I, you know, the questions we're trying to, you know, bring to the characters that, you know, are, what is this and why am I feeling it and, um, what do I do with it? I don't know what to do with it. I only know how to identify myself as, as a woman who likes men to desire her, so I don't know how to do this and, um, uh, but it's the purest thing she's ever had and she's aware of that. So, uh, and she doesn't want to lose it. She's, she's become a much better person because of this love. That's true. And, um, it will, it will continue. It's, it's, it's really quite a, it's really quite a beautiful story. We're, we're about four weeks ahead and the, what, what they have coming up is just, it's so beautiful. Um, and so real. It's what people who love each other do. And, um, I, I've been touched by it. You know, I, I, um, I think that eventually, you know, I think people will be pleased. I don't know. I've been touched by it. I don't want to give too much away, but I don't think that there's going to be that. It's a soap opera. There's going to be plot devices and angst and you can't, you know, that's going to happen. That has to happen. But I, I think in the end, people are going to be pleasantly surprised by it. Um, and it will, it will change whoever it is. Go. It already is. Yeah. It will change a lot of people. Oh. Definitely looking forward to that. That's anything. What? Well, A. After doing this, April for, I, I played this game for 10 years. I, I, I actually am so excited to open my script. But I, I, and I, and I read and I read and I want to know what happens next. And that doesn't, that isn't always the case when you're, you know, you play the character for so long. I can imagine not, I really appreciate being able to talk to you. I'm so glad you kept trying. It was worth it. Talking to you was worth keeping trying. It was not that other people have their shot now. Thank you. April, it was great to finally get you on here and finally meet you. For all that you do for the Italian fans out there, it's great to meet the person that, or one of the people that is behind us. So thank you so much for calling in. Thank you. And thank you, Crystal. Thanks, April. Bye. Take care now. Bye. I cannot believe the time just flew by on the nipple. I know. It's crazy on this nose, isn't it? And the delicious Crystal Chappelle. Make sure you watch her on Friday night weekdays on CBS. Make sure you check your times because with me, I have to watch it at 10 in the morning. Same here. Same here. You know, you guys have different times there and everything. Or before you leave, we would love for you to do a promo for our show. Sure. If you would like to, you could say something along the lines of this is Crystal Chappelle from Guiding Light. You are listening to Buzzworthy Radio. You can improvise that in any way, shape, or form, but it has to have your name and Buzzworthy Radio's name in it. Okay. You ready? Yes. We're ready. Hi. I'm Crystal Chappelle from Guiding Light and you are watching the brilliant Buzzworthy Radio. Why? I like the word brilliant. That's it. That works for you. Cool. I like that. Thank you so much for finally getting here. We love to have you back on the show. I would love to have you guys. You guys were so great. Thank you so much. All of you. You have to tell your husband something to me. Whenever I was eight years old, his character on the Golden Beautiful scared the crap out of me. Just let you know. You're a little eight-year-old me. Just remember that. You know what? You're eight. What are you doing watching the Golden Beautiful? I know, right? What was I doing? The whole of Anna thing? You know? That's just that. And you know what? My husband is the most gentle, sweet, friendly person. He always has a gun pointed at his head or gets stabbed at the end of a gig. Poor guy. Seriously. But I'll tell him. Well, thank you very much. Thanks for coming over again. Thanks. I had a great time. Take care now. Bye. Bye-bye. Well, that was amazing show. You know, most of these callers could not get through. But we did try. We definitely did try to get to here. And now we're ready to bring out our next guest. She played the role of Kayla Bray, who was recently let go from the show, which I definitely want to talk to her about, as well as probably many others out there. I know Don, you're one of them. So you better get your butt on the line so you can have your questions ready for her. Mary Beth Evans is going to be joining us very, very shortly. We just got to get her on the phone line here. Because like I said, there are a lot of people here who are still on the line waiting to talk to Mary Beth as well. So let's see if we can get her here. Actually, let's start with the people who we hadn't talked to. So let's get them out of the way. I know that's what I'm looking for. Let's try this one first. 918. You're on the line. How are you? Nope. That wasn't that. They just hung up. Well, they did. Mary took 626. Let's try this one. 626. Hello? Hi. How are you? Hi, I think I actually called on the wrong line, but this is actually Mary Beth. Yes, you did. You called the right line. I don't know, but I think I'm not. Yeah, I don't know what. Anyway, here I am. Here you are. See, this is the second time that happened on the first try, man. That's awesome. You have to give you a call in all the time and don't get in so I could have been in that queue. Yeah, that's pretty much it. That would have been bad. At least we got you here. That's the limelight of the show, at least. Thanks so much for coming back to the show again. Oh, it's your show. Yes. Yes, thank you for having me. It was a good time last time. I couldn't wait. Awesome. I still want some of those apple pies, too, like I said last time. That's right. Well, it's actually working very hard with that lately. It's kind of really taken off. Oh, so I will send you my info, if I have your email. I'll send you my info to get that pie. Okay, all right. Definitely. So I've been hearing so much from all the fans. The fans have been emailing me left and right. I pretty much have felt the same as everybody has. We are so upset that you have been let go from the show. We all have days of our lives. It blew my mind. You and Stephen had this undeniable chemistry of patching Kayla on the show. It's definitely something that a lot of fans have noticed. They have been sending their emails in regards to it. For those who can't not be here. We're so sorry that you're gone. I don't know how else to start that. No, it's an interesting thing. I have to say, my feet have not really touched the ground since I left. I think life is about a thousand reinventions. I almost feel like I'm getting more done since I left. It's kind of a weird thing. That part, I think, is good. I thought I was just having lunch with someone and we were talking about that. We all get so in our lives and our jobs and we get on this path. Then we are kind of complacent. Being away has actually spurred a lot of things for me. That part has been really good. I think for us, we were kind of shocked too because we thought the same as everybody else. We bring a lot to the show and they're popular and whatever. But that's not what they're really, just it wasn't the issue for them. Their issue right now is budgets. They're going as fast as they can. They're doing seven shows a week and taking 14 weeks off. It's a very fast moving thing. They have certain stories they want to tell. I don't know if it's a younger story they want to tell or whatever, but they want to do something different. I have to say, I'm sad for patching Caleb. I'm also incredibly happy that we had the chance to go back. That was an amazing thing for us as a dream come true. We had both been at different shows. We both had different experiences. We always were really sentimental with those characters. I don't think they always wrote what we wanted them to write. We tried to bring the best that we could and say true to the characters to the show. To me, it seems like a win-win. Here's the mistake I think all of us make as actors. Jobs are like a play here, show here, the company ends, move on, whatever. That's what these are too. We all think they're going to last for 20 years, but they don't. I want to appreciate the wonderful things about it. I'm not mad. I'm not anything like that. To me, that was such a great gig. I'm glad it happened. It was a great two-and-a-half, two-and-a-half, two-and-a-three-quarter years, whatever. Now I'm back out pitching ideas for shows and auditioning for other shows and doing my pie business. I feel like I'm busier now than I ever have been, which is kind of exciting. There's my feel. That's pretty cool, and speaking of other shows, I'm sure that you probably have been asked this a lot. Any plans now that we have Craig and Lucy are back on those roadburns. What about the character on those roadburns? I actually, you know, that might be a possibility. I do not know. I have no idea. I just actually got back into the audition world yesterday for a nighttime show out in LA, and I just kind of feel like, "Who knows? I'm a worker bee, so I'll go wherever the work is." But I don't know. I just feel like it's a great time to, you know, to explore. I've been stoked for a really long time. So I have no idea. I love as the world burns, so I have to say, I mean, if they ask me, I would go back there. It's so much fun. So who knows? You know, I have no idea. That's not to do it. Like I did it for many years. I just went back there periodically. That's more fun than going every week when you have a family. That every week when you have a family is a hard thing to do. You wouldn't want to commute if you did this. Well, you have to explore, like, more balance, you know, where you go periodically, and you do a bunch of shows, and then you go home. That every week, like Marie Wilson does that, and that's a real challenge. I mean, she only sees her kid, her daughter, on the weekends. That's really hard to do that. But, you know, like I said, I don't know. Who knows? I mean, I have no idea. But right now, it's a beautiful day in Southern California. So I'm staying today in Southern California. I said I was just having lunch with someone who was a producer on One Night to Live. And she just comes back out here. And she said the same thing. She goes, "Oh, it's pretty nice out here in Southern California." So, right now, where are you guys? I'm in Jersey as gloomy as it is. I say that only because it's trying to rain here, and, you know, that's not good. Friday, that's what I'm happy about. It's Friday. You know? Right. Right. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. You know, that would be a good effect for me if I didn't have to work the weekend, so. That's true. Yeah. Yeah. That's a drag. Yeah. Now, we definitely got a lot of the people here who want to call in and show their support for you. But before we get to that, I did want to pose a question, and it's very ironic that you're actually here today. Okay. Because if I read this correctly, I think this was you and Steven's last air date. Oh, sorry. And you did not get an exit storyline. Did you want to have a record? Yeah. This one happened. Funny. They had been talking to us a little bit about, you know, that they weren't going to renew our contract. They were paring down the show and doing all this stuff. And then they said that they just, it was like they weren't really leaving Salem. They'd still be around. They just wouldn't be on air. So. Then they said, oh, I think our contract was really up in May, but you know, you're guaranteed a certain amount of days. So we had already completed those numbers. So they didn't really have to go all the way till May. So then they said, well, I think it'll be in March. And then the video comes back the next time. He goes, no, actually, you know, you shot your last show a week ago. So it's like, oh, I'm sorry. I laughed. I thought it was hilarious. So, you know, who knows? Our daughter is there. She'll talk about it. She'll keep us alive. She'll bring us like, you know, soup or something. And you know, who knows? We pick up back there. I mean, they even said that too. So, you know, like I said, it's all up in the air. I'm not holding my breath in any direction. I'm just moving forward and being proactive and trying to make other things happen. There you go. Yeah. I'm going to do something. You know, I'm going to do, I just was just trying to do something the other day about maybe trying to be an intern with a documentary company or something. I'm going to do something different. Maybe something that has to do with humanitarian things. It's just something that's different, you know? I don't know what that is. I just feel like I don't know what it is yet. But I think, you know, there's so many people right now who are being laid off their jobs and having to reinvent. And I think that's a really interesting topic. I mean, it's a really interesting thing for people. And a lot of times people get on tracks in life and then they play the bills and their stuff with their mortgages and everything. And so they're on that track where it may not be what they really want to do. And then they have a big shake up and then they have to, they're forced to make a change. And sometimes it turns out to be like the happiest thing that ever happened. So, I don't know. I think that's an interesting avenue. I talked to a lot of people about that, I think that's it. You know, a lot of people are in that position. Yeah. I agree. Especially right now. As far as what we said. But I will tell you, I will tell you, we are going to have like a big event, like a fan gathering to kind of say hello goodbye. What are you doing? Kind of food events at the Beverly Garland Hotel on May 30th from 11 to 4. And I'm not quite sure how they get tickets. I guess maybe they go to Stephen Nichols dot com website or something like that. I don't know how they get tickets. We'll totally post it on our site. Yeah. And it has to be a lot of fun. Those events are always really fun. A lot of people are, you know, friends of ours now. We've seen them so many times. So, come on out. I mean, come on out. You guys come on out. Well, then, there you go. I'll pick that in. It says you tickets are $75. Yeah, I don't know. It's so worth it. It's so worth it. Yeah, I don't know where you tickets. So, that's interesting. Maybe somebody in one of these callers will tell us something. Maybe somebody else. I think it's more than we do. If they go to vidmichols.com, they can probably get it. Okay. Mike, Mike, my co-host said. What? Mike, my co-host said they know more about this stuff than we do. They do. Which is this? You do. Absolutely. That's terrible. Yeah. Let's see if this caller knows a little bit more than I knew. Let's take this caller here from 931. You're on the line with Mary Beth and Buzzworthy Radio. How are you? Hi, I'm fine. Hey, Mary Beth. It's Kimber. Oh, hi. How are you? I'm doing good. I can't say I'm not your nickname for this career, but she has a big name about what it is. How are you? Thank you. I'm doing great. How are you doing? You sound very busy. You know what? I have to say, I'm just saying these guys. I guess maybe you guys heard what I said he said. But yeah, I've been so busy. And I really think that being proactive for all of us is such a healthy way to be. I'm out talking to people, meeting people, networking, talking, getting information, shooting information to people. It's so much fun. I mean, I just found out somebody was having lunch with someone the other day and they were telling me about something in marketing on Oprah Winfrey's new network. So she sent me a link. I shot it over to someone I know that's looking for a marketing job. I mean, I think you just have to blah, blah, blah with everybody. And, you know, everybody help everybody out in network. So yeah. Oh, wow. Way cool. I have, actually, I have two kind of questions. If you don't mind, if you have the time. First of all, I'd like to know if the doctor's coat made it through the shooting. Did you see it? I thought that was just the coolest thing. So I was like, look, my coat's famous. I wore it all the time. You know, I never saw it after that because I never got out of the hospital. I'm just trying to still in the hospital now. I don't know. Maybe I'll just look for it when I get out there for the event. Good job. I'll follow over there and see if they have it. Oh, that'd be cool. Also, my other question is when you're decorating a home and you go looking for antiques, are you looking for something specific or you just fly by the city of your pants? Well, it depends. You know what? I have to say, I am a big SWAT meat treasure hunter. I love things and then get them refurbished and put a different fabric on it or, you know, put some wax on it or something like that. So, like in my house, you know, I shoot commercials and shoot TV shows and things like that all the time. In fact, if Cameron Diaz's movie ever comes out, my sister's keeper, it's shot in my bedroom. They totally repaint the furniture in there, whatever. But I always think I don't really care because my house is like all these SWAT meat things and even though my house looks great, it's very eclectic but nothing cost a fortune. There's a lot of, you know, flip-covered pieces and things like that. So I've never been in a situation where I could buy like all these antiques. He thinks cars are a value, but he doesn't really get the furniture concept. So, yeah, the argument we have. So, for me, if I love it, I want to love it. I don't want to have something in my house I don't love. So, I'm not quite fresh, whether they be a SWAT meat or an antique shirt, if I really love it. Okay. Well, thank you for your time. And I'm here in Nashville with Sherry and Nell. And they both say, "Hey." Ask her. Ask her. Where do you get tickets at? Hold on a second. You might actually get the scoop. Hi, Mary Beth. Oh, hi. How are you? I'm fine. Is it Sherry? Yes, it is. Hey, Sherry, you guys. This is the woman who's putting on the event. Where do they buy tickets for the event? You can go to stevenickles.net. It's on the home page, and it's also on your home page, marybethevons.com. Okay, there you go. There's an order form. There's an order form, and they fill that out. And just hit the button. Okay, good. All right, good. Thanks. Okay, great to talk to you. Bye. Bye. They knew it. I told them that they would know it. Yep, you're right. I had a good day. It's actually really cool that you're going to put that link on our website, so all you guys can definitely click there and make sure you sign that order form and go to that event. We'll definitely put it on. But Mary Beth, I had to say that it's actually really cool that you do that because my mom kind of does the same thing. She goes to jewelry as well, and she's into the same thing. Yeah, I actually, speaking of things that I've never done before, this is the last few weeks inside of the show, I've done all these things I've never done before. One of them was, I wrote an article for a magazine called Hybrid Mom Magazine all about an easy dinner party without breaking your neck. So, I mean, I had never done anything like that before, but I took my camera with me to the big flea market, and I took photos of the different ideas of things that I do, and I put the whole meal together and the table set with the things. And it was so exciting. And so, when my kids were little at 20, they were in this art class, and the teacher midway through the projects would say to the kid, you know, like, what's your success on this? Like, the shadowing was great that day, or whatever it was. And I feel like that so much. Like, to do that article, I mean, what's my success on that? That I threw myself out there and did something that was scary and different, and I knew nothing about and tackled it. You know what I mean? All of us every day need to say I'm up with my success on that. The daughter calls today and just said that exact same thing because of some tests that she had been worried about and did great on. So, yep. I think I'm a pretty inspirational speaker. That's next. I just think that you can do for you, you know. Long. I can see you doing just that. Just that. Something. Okay, do you have another question? Any more people? We do have -- oh, my God. More people? Let's just say my switchboard is like a page long. So, just saying. It's 662. If you realize if that was another number, I was not going to take it. 662, you're on the line right now. How are you? Hey. Hi, Beth. I'm fine. How are you? This is it. This is Donna. I met you in Charleston last February. Yeah. Do you come to the breakfast? No, I didn't -- wasn't lucky enough to get to take it. No. That was the most fun. Yeah. Well, I enjoyed making you there. You might not remember, but I gave you a candle. Homemade candle. No, I'm not at the top of my head. I'm sorry to say that. Well, that's okay. You've got a lot of stuff that day. It was crazy. I don't really have a question. I just wanted to say that I miss you so much on day. Thank you. And it just brought my heart. My computer had been down that day, and I wasn't able to get down to the light around in the afternoon. And that was the first thing I saw on S&K.com was that y'all had been let go. And I cried so much. My husband had to cook supper that night. Goodness. I didn't even cry. Don't you cry? Oh, well, I did a lot of the spread. My husband said, you know, there is a chance they'll bring us back. So you never know. I mean, who knows? Who knows? It's the changing of the tide. You get a different, you know, producer, different writer, and they write a totally different thing. You know, people want to take it in their own direction, so. I know, but sometimes, sometimes change is not good. We also share. Not in our stories we like for sure, but you know what? I'm positive. I'm positive about it. It should be too, whatever. I totally understand, but we'll pop up. Stephen, I'll pop up places. We're too, like, you know, antsy to sit still. Yeah, but we just, just me. I watched y'all, I mean, from the beginning, you know, been there, done that. And I haven't turned it on since y'all left. Yeah, we have some great stories. I have to say both of them. I feel like they're very sentimental about it. You know, there was, we'll never get that experience again. I mean, it was really great. It was a wonderful story. Wonderful story. Now, I call him. I call him for his birthday. I'll call him and say, "Oh, hi. It's your, it's your former wife." [laughter] He knows who they are. He's doing, by the way. How is Stephen doing, by the way? Is he doing okay? Yes. He's good too, you know. He's been really wanting to seriously get into directing for a long time. And this is what I was kind of talking about too. I think we all get our comfort zones and they throw you out in the cold. And you have to, you know, you sink or swim. And you kind of get back to the things that you were maybe planning to do. So I think that's where he's at. I think he's trying to get some directing things going and, you know, that kind of thing. Well, I just miss him. And it was good talking to you. I'll miss him, if you can. Oh, I'm coming. I'll be there. Oh, great. Super. Okay. All right. Bye-bye. That is so cool whenever you hear fans are actually so like into your character. They love your characters. And that's the sweetest part about it actually. I'm telling you, we do get fan events. And these people come every time we do them and they become like old friends. It's really, I don't know. I mean, it's never like Star Trek or something. I don't know where you get that, you know. I don't know if you go to those kinds of events. But, you know, these people really, really care and they follow you. And it's very sweet. They always bring you beautiful gifts. You know, when I was first pregnant, just quite a while ago, they had a whole baby shower and they had a video camera. Somebody was holding the video camera like they were me with someone, you know, knocking on the hotel room door and everybody opening it up with that whole party in there. And presents and conversation and games and everything for a baby shower. And then they sent me the video and all the presents. Nice. Amazing. Pretty amazing. Wow. I think I saw my son wore those sweaters for a long time. I'll forget my kids wore the sweaters that were given to me from those events. So, it's pretty cool. Pretty nice. Especially for the people at Crafty and they make stuff. This is true. It's pretty cool. This actually is an email question. This is from Jennifer. She wants to know. Considering the economic crisis our country is in, would you be interested if a production company, like SoapNet wanted to do an online soap with you and Steven? Hmm. Online soap. That's interesting. Well, you know, like I said, I'm open to everything. Who knows? I feel like I'm clipping. Clicked my fingers. Like, "It, it, it, it, it, it, it, what's next? What's next?" So I have no idea. I have no idea. We'll see where it takes us. That's basically how I look at this now. See where it goes. Right. And this next question comes from Joanne. One of my favorite ladies. She wants to know, "Did you enjoy working with Michael Bruno on, I want to be a soap star?" Well, Michael Bruno is one of my all-time greatest friends. And that he, it's just, he's the best. We're an absolutely fabulous friend. He talked me into doing that. I didn't want to do that show. And he talked me into it. And I had a great time. And I learned a lot from it, actually. And I talked to him probably, you know, every day, if not two or three times a day, I talked to him a lot. And he's really my, we just, he's great. You know, my husband and I don't talk about soap and acting stuff. I think he has a totally different life. Yeah, exactly. Michael is seriously my, my gossip partner about everything. We talk about everything in show business. And I just adore him. Definitely. This one, I have no idea what the name is. But this is, uh, their screen name is Nell Phan. I don't know what this is. I don't know. All right. It's first a comment. They've said, Mary Beth, I just want you to know, I am 30-something now that I've been a fan of yours since I was 12. I still admire your positive energy and how you exude joy. You continue to be an inspiration. I will miss you if I look forward. [ Laughter ] I will miss. I will miss Kayla, but I look forward to seeing you in whatever role you take on next. And my question is, have you considered or thought about having your own home decorating show or talk show, or would you prefer to take on an acting role next? No, you know, I'm good at pitching that kind of thing around sort of something. Some kind of inspirational, um, something show. I'm working on that because I would like to do that. And I think I -- that's like starting to do that little magazine article about a dinner party and just different things to kind of get that role because I've always been a big homemaker and dinner parties and parties and things. So I found ways to make shortcuts and still make it groovy. And so, yeah, I'm totally -- Okay. Okay. I'm still working on that. I don't know what that was, but -- I think I might. It faded for like a little bit on the phone, but it's back now, so I think I'm good. I think that was me. We're good, though. Yeah. I hate cell phones, but I can't live without mine. That's pretty much how I put it. Area code. I think that was -- I think that was because I called on your queue-up line. You know what? I had to -- I just want to say this right now. When did blog talk radio start doing that because it just -- oh, it's like -- I get so frustrated with it. I'm getting a v-year, I think it was. So -- You know, it's like somebody -- a soap writer just taking -- changing something with one of their favorite characters and just -- I'm so darn frustrated with it. I don't know what to do. Maybe I'll complain to the writer. I don't know. Yeah, you should. You should. Let's take this next caller from Area Code 918. You're on the line with Mary Beth and Bosworthy. How are you? Hello. Hello. How are you? Hi. This is Wendy Sue from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I just can't believe I'm finally talking to Mary Beth. Well, hi. How are you? Hi. I've watched you since I'm 13 and I just fell in love with that wedding you do on the yacht with Steven Nichols. Oh, that was nice. That was nice. I don't go outside anymore. I had a question. I absolutely love your pies. Is there any chance you're going to go on QVC again and sell them? Well, QVC, what I'm cooking right now is cooking. I've made these little pies that are my favorite. They're two-inch, single servings. They're actually bigger than two inches, but I just got William Sonoma taking them for the fall and I made a little pumpkin one too. I think they're going to come in a set of 12 and they're frozen and you bake them yourself. They're great and super easy and easier than the big pie because they're just quick. With the big pies, it's like a frozen basketball you're trying to bake. It takes longer and more things. People aren't really following the directions. It's not as easy. I'm doing William Sonoma in the fall and I have a meeting for some markets out here. I might do QVC. The thing about QVC is just a big production. It's a big production. We sold 3,007 minutes and you had to have them out the door in 24 hours. It was a big deal. I might. I'm just, like I said, I just started paying a closer attention to this now, but I had a little free time from work. I don't know what I might do now. I do have a lot of contacts at my disposal so I just have to get on it. I don't know. I've actually suspended my website because they're moving a whole big kitchen where the pies are made. We're down for a couple months. I'm hoping to regroup all my thoughts on it too. Maybe come up with some different products. All of a sudden, I'm like the little baker lady. I don't know. We have one more question. One more question for you, Mary Beth. Yes. Knowing that your husband's a doctor, when you and Stephen were doing kissing scenes, did you ever give each other a cold or something? No. We did it. That's an interesting one. It's graphic, but we didn't swap too many body fluids. We kept them on the list. I was just curious because that thing you did when Steve's character was in the psych award and he bladed your lip. Oh, that was that was that. That was actually an accident. That was on my birthday a couple years ago. Yeah, you were up with me and kind of kissed me, but it was just, you know, we were just all that action and then having to kiss. He just kind of banged into me a little bit, but it was okay. I feel like it kind of happened. Well, in my book, you both are just the best couple in daytime. Thank you. Yeah, I think we had a good connection too. But we know what we were friends. We stayed friends even between, you know, 90 to when we went back. I mean, we've been friends. We will be friends. And hopefully we'll reunite you on something. You know, we did love letters for a while. That was a lot of fun. So we'll probably do something if we don't look back on days. We'll probably do something together. Well, it's just believable because of your friendship off screen. I just, I just can tell how it is on on screen. It's just beautiful. Thank you very much. Yeah, we're lucky. We have both always thought that we were very lucky also. Well, it was good talking to you, Mary Beth. Talking to you. Glad you got through. Take care. I could call him in. Thank you. Those little cup pies, they sound really good. I'm telling you. They're, they're the best. I love these things. So they're very cool. But the big price rate too, it's just, you have to, it's, I mean, I make it all the time from frozen state. And I don't have a problem because all you have to do is follow the directions and it's perfect. But if you don't follow the directions, then it's frozen. [ Laughter ] Quarter fall. I don't know much about baking anything. Yeah, it's not really. Okay. Next, tell us. This one, this one is from Brandon. And he was very anxious to ask this one. I think it's actually a very, very good question and a very good comment. He feels, or he sees the power of the beat as days are completely devaluing the show by dismissing all the legacy characters leaving kids behind to the point it may not be attractive to a potential buyer. He wanted to ask, should NBC cancel it? Or do you have any thoughts on that whole kind of issue? As far as I know, it's been picked up. But I do know that they had to make a certain budget. They got a, you know, NBC cut a huge, you know, they had a huge cut and then days were alive, took a huge cut and they're licensing fee. So they had a bottom line number that they had to meet, no matter what, no matter what that meant. And so they chose to go about this way. And, you know, I don't know, I don't think it's been canceled. I think that it's, you know, and it's going to go on and they're going to try to do it this new way and see if it works. Because I'm one of those, I'm one of those young bloods. I mean, I'm 23, but I'm one of those young bloods who like legacy characters such as your character that you played as well as teacher hall character that she's played for several years. Yeah, she's doing great too, actually. I talked to her recently. She's doing great. She's happy. But none of us know what we're missing, I guess, it's something. You don't know what happens so after you get out of the job, right? That's right, right. Terrible. Yeah, you know what, I feel that way too, because I know for me, you know, if I'll be sick or something and I'm in bed and I put on them, I'm surfing or if I'm cooking my kitchen and I'm surfing on the shows and, you know, there's a, you know, like, why an art? They have the same people that have been on there forever, Mickey and, you know, what's his face, they're still at it. And I knew that when I was in high school, so I can tune in when I haven't seen the show in 15 years, and I'm Victor, I guess, and I can see what they were doing. Oh, that story's still kind of going on. So, yeah, it's an easy connection for me, but, you know, I don't know. Like I said, the new producer and the new writer, they have a different vision of where they want to take the show, and that's, you know, me as an actor can't argue with that. So, you know, and that's happened before, and it's happened on other shows, and it happens to people all the time. So, I mean, all you can do is advance, keep writing in and keep making their campaigns, and, you know, maybe they'll say, "Hey, these people really were serious. I mean, who knows?" But other than that, I don't really know, you know, what you can do or what you can say. Right, exactly. Let's take this next caller here from area co-404. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hi. Is Mary Beth? Yes, it is. Hi, this is Jennifer. How are you? Jennifer, I'm good. Thank you very much. Well, you've pretty much answered all the questions that I have. I basically want to know what you're doing now, but it sounds like you're keeping really busy. But I was in Charleston also, and I did get to go to your breakfast, and it was one of the best mornings of my life, really. I love that. I think that was the one that I've ever been to, too, because I would just rather sit around and shoot the breeze with people and just see what's going on and see what's going on in your lives, too. That's always the harder part for me when we do events, is to just sign autographs and whatever. I would really rather sit around in a small group and find out what other people are doing, too, you know? Because then I actually want to say it was something, but so that was really nice at breakfast. We'll have to do that again. It was fun. It was fun just to hear you talk as a regular person and not talk about the business and just, you know, just chat with you. It was really fun. I really enjoyed it. I had sent you a scrapbook of the Charleston event. Did you get that? Probably did. I have a bunch of stuff that's carried out to us and/or was sent to us, but it's upstairs now, so at the top of my head, I couldn't tell you. It was a while ago. There was a lot of stuff from that, but it was so great. They were all the "thank you" books that everybody put together for us, and the birthday books, and it's so much effort, and it's been wonderful for us. It's been really wonderful. Well, I'm interested. You mentioned that you had auditioned for a nighttime role. Can you say what that was? I'd say no. If I get it, I will post it on marybethnavins.com. Is it just a guested or is it like a regular role? It's just in the future. It's like shooting next month. I don't want to say any more because it's bad. Practice is an act like you don't want to do that. I get it bad, though, though. You don't want to go there. I get it. And those bad, bad, bad. But we will miss you on days. I mean, I mean, sad and everything, but, you know, I'd rather you all just be happy, and, really, the last few months is just, you know, it was very painful to know that you even on the show, but just couldn't see you. They didn't have Steven on for months. It was horrible. Our baby would even say in the script, "The baby is an astroller," or whatever. Well, we did a virtual blow-up of the stroller. We blew up the stroller because we were so tired of seeing it. Yeah, but, like I said, different writers take the show in different areas, and that was not their interest. Yeah, we felt bad for Steven because even when he was on, he just really didn't get that much to do. I know it was probably very hard on me. That was a huge waste, but it was very, very painful. But you sound like you're in a good place, which I pretty much knew you would be, you know, with your attitude and everything. So it's good that, you know, everything's going well. Like I said, you know what, I think it was an incredible treat to go back. And I always, like I said, very sentimental with Kayla. I always wanted to play them as, you know, more mature people. And I think our acting was probably better and our, you know, they were great things. But I see some of the old tapes of when we were together. I mean, it's been a really sweet, long arc love story, and I'm glad that I got to be a part of it and to get that opportunity to go back. I mean, how fun. But what is it? Okay, well, you know, we got that opportunity. So that was... Yeah, it was good to be back, too, because, I mean, it brought a lot of people back to, you know, the fandom. I guess you would call it, and, you know, it just kind of resonated a lot of, you know, old feelings in people. So, I mean, I'll never ever... Yeah. It did a great vault of flashbacks to show, too, which was fun. Yeah. It was great. Well, I hope everything works out good and hope to hear more from you soon. Okay, good. Thank you. I'll see you in the summer, too. I'll be there. Yeah. Thanks. Okay. Bye-bye. All right. Let's take this next one here. She stayed in the whole show. Let's bring her back on. Jamie wants to add this next two. Yes, you did say the whole show. I'm, you know, I'm one of these guys. It's a great guest. I'm very best. It's very, very, very, very, very cool that I can actually say that I talk to you. So, just to let you know, I'm like, I'm talking to Mary Beth Evans. This is, like, awesome. Well, I'm glad that you're actually doing well. It was very sad to hear that you, you know, that they let you go from days because that, well, I'm not old enough to remember exactly when you were on the first time. I'm 30, but I was a little kid when you were on there before. But I definitely know the story of Patrick Kayla. Right. And I also, though, I have a couple of questions for you. Okay. Um, back in the 90s, back in the 90s, between your stance on days for life, you were on general hospital for seven years and a long time. Yeah. Playing Catherine. Um, and one of my questions was, one of my questions is, what was it like working with Wally Kirsch on that? Uh, Bob Wally. He's got the biggest dimples. You know, the sweetest thing for us as actors on these shows is the great friends that we meet. Yeah. I mean, for me, like, even leaving days, actually leaving the show and where it's at and all, whatever was not that sad, but leaving everybody is hugely bad people. Right. Because the makeup people and the camera dudes, I mean, they're all your buds. But, um, in general hospital, there was just a bevy of fun friends. In fact, I just, this was so fun. I should tell you guys the story. It's just in Florida for, um, my son is a, is a really big water polo player. He was an international tournament down there. And I'm always so terrible. I never call up friends in towns when I'm in their town. I don't know why I'm shy. I don't know what the deal is with why I do that. Um, Ken Shriners down in Florida. So I called him up and he, um, he said, oh yeah, come meet us down here at the water. And, you know, I was staying at some horrible hotel at a horrible place. And, um, the, uh, we, we, my friend and I went down there and he and his girlfriend, adorable girl, picked us up and on a boat. And he took us like the, you know, ocean cowboy out there, you know, boom, boom, boom on the water and just talking his head off. And he's just so charming and so cute and so fun. And truly, um, I, I've known him such a long time because I did rituals before I did, um, days of our lives, which was, ah, God, geez, you know, I don't even know how many years ago or it was in the early 80s, probably like 83. And I met Ken Shriners then. And he was kind of a big star coming off general hospital and he was going to go on to Murv Griffin, the talk show. And he took me with him, which was very fun because I was nobody and hadn't done anything. And he took me on, um, Murv Griffin. So I've known him a long time and going to see him was just so sweet. It was like seeing a brother that I hadn't seen in years and he's just adorable. He looked fabulous and he's just the funniest guy. So, you know, meeting these people on these shows is so awesome because they become your friends for life. I mean, John Lindstrom, now who was on that ritual, who was a replacement boyfriend on rituals, now, and was on Gerald Hopper with me, is now playing my ex-husband character on Amazon. I was about there. Yeah. And we all come back around constantly and, um, and then, you know, during the whole election, Nancy Grohn was very involved in politics and was getting a bunch of people over at her house a lot and I did that. And so our paths crossed around and, um, you know, it's nice because I go to Emmys now for being on three shows. I know so many people. It's so much fun. It's great. That's awesome. Um, and my other question actually just had to do with days of our lives, um, which I was like, you know, just have, what was your favorite storyline? Cause you've got such a rich history with that show. And besides what was your favorite storyline, was it like to work with Peter Wreckle as your brother? Well, first of all, I love Peter and I think that we, we both felt that we always had really nice scenes together and, um, that there was the real family. And that's, one thing I love about that show is that there's the whole Brady, the family thing. Yeah. Um, I think that's a great part of that show. And I love him. And he has a little baby so we would talk a lot about, I'm so on the other end of the spectrum now that we would talk a lot about little kids. And, um, I think my favorite story, if you didn't, um, if you didn't watch the show back then, you probably don't even know it, but for me it was Emily Gideon by far. Cause, you know, it was costumes and it was a love story during the Civil War. And so it was actually like trying to do a little movie or something. So for me that was very fun. I love that story. I, I got to read about it. And I, I have, I actually have the day for a live book that goes back from the beginning to like mid-90s. So, yeah. Right. It's very humid. Even, um, sorry Matt. It's probably on YouTube, you know. It's all, everything's on YouTube. Everything's on YouTube now. Yeah. When my, when my daughter was in high school, somebody found like a 20 minute, uh, kissing, uh, YouTube thing. But she always says she's famous because Kayla's ultrasound is, that scene is on YouTube. And that was my daughter's actual ultrasound. My son was actually an extra on the show, um, just a little while ago, a couple, like a month ago or something. You, I, I couldn't even tell you the episode, but he was, um, trying to make extra money because he was going to do a semester abroad and he was an extra in the pub, in the Brady Pub. I just have to say, you do not look old enough to have a child in college at all. I do. I mean, I would say when I had them, you know, whatever. I do get a lot of them. And on, you and Stephen Nichols, I do hope that you guys do other stuff together because you guys are just awesome together. I love you on stage. I love you on general hospital. Thank you. Um, I didn't think the caliper of the chemistry was sustained. Thank you, Taylor. One of the totally different level in Katherine and Stefan. I agree with you. I agree with you 100%. I thought I liked Stephen better. Oh, both of us better on the show. The characters go. I liked Stephen better on stage because he was a cash character with more vulnerable and had humor and I just think it was a more sweet, unusual character than on general hospital. Yeah. And, you know, seven years ago, we were there for a long time. You were. I know. That was really awesome. Thank you so much for talking to me and answering my question. Oh, my pleasure. My pleasure. Okay. We'll take care. Take care. See you later. Bye. Bye. All right. Let's, uh, let's take this next one here from area code nine. Oh, my gosh. My vision just went blurry. I thought it was nine five. One is actually nine three one nine three one. You're on the line. All right. I hear it. Hello. I think they're on the leg. They're going to call back in. So let's take this. Let's take this next one from area code six. Oh, six. You're on the line right now. How are you? Oh, they didn't hear all the stuff we was putting in the background. We were. Oh, we're dangerous. Oh, my goodness. We heard every, every single word here and it's all recorded. Oh, please. But I think they're still listening and they're still talking to this person hung up. I think they were on two phones. Oh, well, at least now they know that we heard what they were saying. Yeah. We'll get them in trouble. Three, one, four. You're on the line. How are you? Hi, sweetie. Hi. Hi. I'd like to wish you and me a happy birthday next week. I know. Thank you for saying. Yes, I'm headed into my whole, I have two children's birthdays next week too. So it's a busy, it's a really busy time for us here. I have one next week too. I don't know what it is about the first Nick and Marge, but it's really popular on the first two. What's going on in the second week of June? That's the question. You know that. I'll tell you, my mother's birthday is nine months before my birthday. So I think that says it all. You still there? Call her? I think we lost her. Yeah, call back in and call her from that area. I don't remember what it was. But definitely call back in. Audrey. What age your birth happens? March 7th. March 7th. Yeah. That's next week, isn't it? Saturday. Next Saturday. What happened? Happy early birthday. Mm. Thank you. My youngest son turned 16 on Tuesday. So there's a new driver in the future. But you get off the road. Oh, my goodness. You know, out here in 16. So it's like, oh, lordy. You're going to have fun there. Yeah. I've experienced before. It's not so fun. I'll tell you. Well, actually having a license is fine. It's all the six months before when you're driving with them. When they don't know what they're doing, it's so stressful. Whoo. Yeah, that definitely happens. Yeah, that happened with me. My parents said, you know what? You're going to drive in school. I don't want to hear it. You're going to drive in school. Right. That's the mic. Is it out here? You have to. Well, now it is different, but you have to. You have to go there. Yeah, you have to. Yeah. All right. Is there any more collars? Yes, we do. 478. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hi. Hi. Hey, this is Lisa. Hi, Mary Beth. How are you? Good. How are you? I'm fine. I don't have a question. You've pretty much answered anything that I was wanting to know. But I did just want to call in and say thank you. And I appreciate everything that you have given to the character of Kayla. It was wonderful to see you and Steven back on the show again. Thank you very much. Well, you're welcome. I actually met you in Charleston too. I went to the fan event and had the breakfast with you. Okay. Yeah, I enjoyed that so much. It was just such an opportunity to get to sit down and talk to you. It was great. But I didn't really -- I'm not going to keep you. I just wanted to let you know that I just wanted to appreciate everything you've done. And I too am going to the fan event in June. Great. So I'm just looking forward to getting to meet you. You talked to me. Oh, I will. Okay. All right. Good. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye. All right. Let's take this next one from Area Code 847. 847. Oh, wait a minute. Up there we go. 847. You're on the line. How are you? Hi. Hi. Hi. My name is Hillary. I'm from Chicago. Oh, hi. I used to live in Chicago. Where do you live? I am in the way, way northern suburbs in the Long Grove area. Oh, we were in Lincoln Park at Halsted and Webster. I know right where that is. Yeah. I lived there like a long time ago. '81 or something like that. Yeah. It's a great town. There's a whole lot of Chicago Scorks that love you. Oh, good. Oh, great. So I'll say hi to you on behalf of all the Chicago Scorks. Good. Yeah, Jerry, the one that was on the line earlier, she was trying to plan an event there. I don't know. We never quite got around to it, but maybe we'll do that. Oh, please come here. We would love to see you here. And then I don't have to get on a plane. I know. I know. I'm with you on that one, right? I hate flying. I love flying. Maybe I'm going to just love to fly. I love flying. Yeah, my stomach doesn't love flying, so I'd rather stay here. But I am going to be coming out and seeing you for the LA fan event in May. Thank you for doing another one. And this will be my third year. I'm so excited. Oh, great. Super. So I have an off the wall question. I like the off the wall questions. Okay. So everyone has some kind of obsession. So we all love days and we love Stephen Kayla. And we love you guys as actors. And I also love Harry Potter. Everyone's got something out there. What do you have? And an obsession you like you have to get home for X. So you can see something on TV or you have a book series you love. What are you fanatical about? I love it. You know, I would have to say the thing I'm very into, I don't know if this would be in that category. But I get together like maybe four times a week. And he's like seven mile walk with my girlfriend. And we all have seven miles. You think we'd be so skinny. We're not. I don't know. Maybe it's anaerobic or something. But we, you know, so I would say that right now I'm just really into that. And that they camaraderie and the exercise and the, you know, we solve the world's problems and, you know, of course. So I'd say that right now. I am an avid reader, but I don't really do series. I was on a big autobiography kick for quite a while. I'm reading every autobiography. But now I'm off that. But I just wrote a great book called Love and Frank. That was good about Frank Lloyd Wright. And so, you know, I'd say that right now if I'm in session, I would probably be good. Yours is much healthier than mine. Oh, well, yeah. Well, I got better weather and I can go out every day. So you get stuck a little bit in Chicago. Well, thank you very, very much. And I'll just end by saying I was the chick who played the reporter in the Where the Hell are Stephen Kayla videos. Oh, my God. Those videos were hilarious. We, you guys were really good. Love it. Love it. Thank you. We're really, really good. And the people who, the people at J's, actually, they saw like some of the guys at NBC even were saying, "Oh, my God. Those people were really good. Maybe they'll call you sometime for a job." Oh, thank you. We really, I know that every single person who was in those videos, it was a labor of love. We all really enjoyed doing it. We all really felt strongly about doing it. And the work that went into them, all I did was say some words on screen. But one of the previous scholars, Jen, she was in it. She did quite a bit. And she made one of the other videos. And then the editor of the Part 1 video, she's out in Australia. And we all did this. It's a huge global effort. And everyone really enjoyed doing it. And, you know, it is what it is. And we weren't, I'm sure no one is sorry that, you know, they participated. It was awesome. Okay. Yeah. Thank you. They were really cute. Well, thanks so much, Mary. Thank you so much for calling. We care. Bye-bye. Bye. All right, let's take this next caller. We have a time left for a couple of more. Let's get this one in from Louisiana area code 225. You're on the line right now. How are you? Hello, Mary Beth. Yes. Hi. Hi, this is Deb. I don't want to have a question. I just wanted to tell you that wherever you go in, whatever you do, we'll be here. And we'll be behind you, we'll be supporting you in Stephen Boats. Oh, that's so nice. Thank you. Well, hopefully you're good. It's good. Ma'am? I said, hopefully there'll be something good. Oh, it will be. Yeah, it will be good. But I met you in Charleston. I'm hoping to go to the event in LA and meet you again there. Okay. And I know I can totally identify with the June and the March birthdays as a life and delivery nurse in Louisiana. We see that nine months after a hurricane. Right. Because the lights go out. There's nothing to do. You know, you have no power, no TV, no life for a week at a time. So then none looks like we have a bunch of babies. Right, right, right. Right, exactly. Yeah. But good luck in whatever you do, and we'll all be behind you. Thank you so much. Okay, bye-bye. Yeah, bye-bye. That's awesome that you're getting so much support. I think it's so cool. I know. I'm telling you, they're all so sweet, really. I've met so many, like I keep telling you at these events. And they're just really kind people. Wonderful. It's a good thing that you played a popular character and not one. Yeah. I've heard stories like characters who are not alive. Yeah. Yeah, I probably take that personally. I take, you know, I'm a pretty nice normal person. That would really bother me, probably. I mean, I live such a separate life, such as, you know, that's really not by the life I live. So it would probably be shocking. All right. Let's get this next one in, 2-1-0. You're on the line. How are you? Hello. Hi. Hello. My name is Chris, and I'm from Texas. Hi. And I'm, I tried to get home earlier so that I could hear the entire chat. And so now I'm afraid of being repetitious because I didn't hear the beginning. So I just wanted to know, will you consider if they offer recurring S-era again on as the World Series? Yeah. We did talk about that. But, um, yeah. Yeah. I'm open to anything right now. I don't really know what's next or what the story would be or whatever. So I'm just going to kind of wait and see I'm open. I mean, who knows? Okay. That's terrific because I really like that. And also I wanted to-- I mean, I can say I love that show and everybody. There's so many, you know, days people that went to that show and whenever they were going, I was like, "Oh, you're going to have the best time ever because the people there are fabulous." It's a very different show. It's very, it's just out in Brooklyn. Everybody's serious about getting the work done. And it's really, really nice. I have nothing but praise for that show. Well, I hope you get enough of that. It's actually kind of hard for me to let it go when I went back to days, I have to say. I get so into even that. And I don't know. I just really love the New York thing. I don't know if I want to get that up. But, you know, days are such a great opportunity for us. So we went back there. Well, I think it would be interesting for you. Now I heard they were recasting the Lucy character and they have the-- I think that they're there too. Right, right. They're probably a good opportunity for you. And also I wanted to thank you so much for coming back because now, at least, even though, you know, we weren't unhappy about the fact that you were let go, at least we get the picture, keeping Kayla together. And at least, you know, we know they have their new baby and, you know, their family and everything. So we'll just wait and hope that we can get you back one of these days. But I've watched you since 1987 and I've followed you to every program you've ever been on from General Hospital to as it will turn back to days. And it's you and Steven, of course, whenever he would move to a different show that I would watch for. That's who I would go for. And that's pretty much the only two characters that I would jump to a soap for. So I hope to get in there because I'll start a new soap if I have to. That's right. That's right. So be aware that we really appreciate you and we love you. And we're out here and we care and we hope that we get another opportunity to watch you. We'll keep you posted. I'll tell you Steven. Thank you very much and I appreciate it. Okay, take care. Thank you. Bye-bye. Thank you so much. There is, at say, there's so much that hasn't been going on with your family on now's the world turn. Your old family has the world turn. I mean, like Lucinda just got divorced from her husband and found to be gay. Lucy's back in town with Johnny who has cancer. I mean, there's just so much crazy. There's a lot to be back from the dead. I mean, there's a lot of things that are connected to you. I need that. Yeah, and I heard right, right, right. Yeah, and like I said, it's such a fabulous show. And the people that run it are great and the actors are great. So, never know. You never know. I love New York. Well, thank you so much for coming back to the show. It's been so much fun. Call me again. Nobody's ever heard from her. Never heard from her again. Call me up. Absolutely. Absolutely. Take care. All right, you guys. Take care. Thank you. Bye, everybody. Bye-bye. Sort of, though. All right, you guys. What are we on next? This was the best few hours I've ever spent doing the show. One of, I should say, one of the best two hours I've spent doing this show because I've done a few of them. It's crazy. But we're going to be back again at 8 p.m. Eastern times with Bob Clinton in. He's one of the stars of PBS's original series, 10 items or less, plays the role of Carl Dawson. So, he's going to be joining us at 8 p.m. Eastern times. And Christina Cleve is going to be joining us in the second half of the program at 8.30. She was the lead role in -- oh, my goodness. I forgot what movie. But she's going to be playing Isabella Rosalini's daughter in a movie that's going to be coming up later in the month ahead. So, we're going to be talking to her about that. I'd like to know what it's like working with Isabella Rosalini. I love her. What am I thinking about? She's actually in a new movie. It's a new independent film. I haven't seen it yet. I really want to see it. It's called Two Lovers with Joaquin Phoenix and Quentin Pauson, which is really amazing. You just said that name. Now, I have to ask her if she watched that interview. Yeah. I know. I mean, all I can think about is that that letter I'm going to interview every time I hear Joaquin Phoenix's name. That's it. Do you -- I mean, do you think it's -- is it an act or what's going on there? I heard from people that it wasn't acting. It was a publicity stunt. I don't know necessarily if that's true or not. But in this day and age with that kind of thing, it's quite possible that it is an act of -- but I don't leave any stone unturned. So, never say never anymore as far as that is concerned. So, make sure you guys come back. At 8 p.m. Eastern, we're going to be on with Bob Clinton and Christina Cleeb. Check that out. 8 p.m. Eastern time here. Same time. Same station. Same number. We're not going anywhere. So, we're going to be back in two hours, folks. So, let's, again, keep getting the latest buzz -- we'll see you guys in two. Take care. Bye bye. [BLANK_AUDIO]
