Ooh, Bosco's boys. Come on, boys. Boom, the boys are back in what a crazy five, six weeks it has been on the recruiting trail for our Kansas State Wildcats. So it is time for a July recruiting update. And there's only one person I want to have do this show. And he did not reply back to my text message. So I brought-- and I'm just kidding. It is Drew Galloway of K-State Online, the recruiting guru over at K-State Online 4 on 3. He is back. Lots of commitments to talk about. Because any more, really, June and July, it's wild. And things kind of calmed down a little bit for the back end of summer until you get to the fall. So it felt like a great time to do this. Drew, welcome back. How are you doing? I imagine you're finally being able to catch your breath just a little bit here for a couple weeks before preseason camp starts up. Yeah, it was really kind of a night ago. We're going to hit all this next. But it is kind of like that "catch your breath" kind of moment. Like, I was talking after the Lincoln-Cures ceremony in an announcement that it was just like-- you feel like that would be like, OK, no, I can catch my breath now. But then it's no, you go right on the big 12 media day. And then after the big 12 media day, I think that Derek Mason and I all kind of got back. And we're just like, OK, Drew, we needed to take a step back and really kind of relax a little bit before fall camp kind of starts to, I guess, preseason camp. Sorry. Well, I've been saying fall camp. But then I just keep hearing Kelis Robinette in the back of my head screaming at me saying, August is not the fall. And I'm like, OK, you're right. You're not wrong. But fall camp just sounds better because you have spring ball, and then you have fall camp, I don't know. It makes more sense to my head to call it fall camp. So I've always called it fall camp. But it's kind of like a catcher breath, especially when it comes to recruiting. And now you can really kind of dig into what the actual season will be like. And that's what I'm really excited for. Yes. Well, we will talk recruiting for this episode. Before we do, I do want to ask, how was big 12 media days out in Vegas? Do you have any fun stories? Do you want to blow up any players or coaches that might have been out having a little bit too much fun in Las Vegas? How was the experience? It was a fun experience. This was my first time going to Las Vegas. So that just like the unique aspect of Vegas was fun, a little bit overwhelming. Probably not for me to go like repeatedly. But if big 12 media day wants to stay in Vegas, I'd be OK with it. I was fun being at the Bellagio because Team USA basketball was also there. And we just happened to be going on a walk the second morning because we didn't end up making it to Allegiant Stadium that Wednesday. So we were just walking around the Bellagio and there was a bunch of people just like scattered or like waiting for people. We're like, I wonder who this could be? And then a little bit later on, we saw LeBron James. We saw Steph Curry, saw Eric Spolstra. And we saw all of actually the Team USA coaches, which was pretty cool. DY ended up making like 300 bucks. Well, we were in Vegas. Mason didn't do too bad either. I lost 30 bucks, but you know what are you going to do? Hey, if you're only losing 30 bucks, it's probably a good, good moment. Did you go to the end zone and be like, oh, man, this is where Nicole Hardman won the Super Bowl for the Chiefs. Did you relive any of that or were you just in business mode when you're inside Allegiant Stadium? Oh, see, the first time that I walked into the stadium, I did a little I did a little lap to kind of like recreate the Super Bowl a little bit and saw where the game winning touchdown was and just kind of wanted to see the area. I do this every year when it was in Arlington too. I just like walk around the stadium and just be like, huh, this is where that happened. The first year that I went to Arlington actually, I went up to Mason when he was there and did the deck Prescott breaking of the leg of like, this is where this happened. So I think that it was it was a cool stadium. But like what Mason and I were talking about was you have to really like be a Raiders fan to really appreciate the stadium because everything is that is the black and silver. So like there's no like hiding it. That is true. And then the, you know, the Al Davis flame and all that stuff was the flame going while you guys were in there. I don't think so. It's not the it's not the eternal Al Davis flame, I guess, man. To be honest, I wasn't really looking for it. But if I would have known, I definitely would have looked. But I don't think it was because I think people would have mentioned that. Well, we're going to pretend that it isn't and make fun of the Raiders. What we'll get into recruiting here now, the reason for the season or at least the reason for this episode. But before we do, I'm going to give a shout out to our friends, Manhattan Brewing Company again. I'll probably only be saying this rest of this week. But if you guys haven't, please go back to last Wednesday's episode that I had with Jake from Manhattan Brewing Company. They previewed all sorts of great beers, all sorts of great events, all sorts of fun stuff going on with Manhattan Brewing Company rest of the summer and fall. Here are the stories behind the creation of the greatest brewery in the state of Kansas. I absolutely love them. They have some great beers going on. They have some great events going on. I'm going to pull it up here just real quick, because again, they have something going on every single day out in Manhattan. So even if you don't live in Manhattan, if you're just visiting for the weekend or on a random day, they always have stuff going on. So on Wednesday, I guess it's tomorrow as you guys are listening, $2 off for all students in military. They're going to have all sorts of stuff going on. They're patio Tuesday. Today's you guys are listening. They're going to have food from El Patron out there. And they have El Bandito Margaritas on tap $1 off. On Thursday, they got trivia and jam and Jamaican food trucks. Smoking ages will be there on Friday. They got alley beers going from 4 to 9. They got a Wichita pop-up happening on Saturday. Sunday, they have a farm pop-up. They have a garlic fest style. They have a Michelotta sour casks, special beer, and cocktail. Sounds amazing. $2 off St. Gria pours, $1 off Crowlers, $6 beer moses, Sunday, Sunday, all day. So again, there's always fun stuff going on at Manhattan Brewing Company. All right, let's get into it. The last time we talked, I think we both assumed case it was going to be getting Lincoln Cure. I think when we were talking, he was still on the Oregon visit. But that's you and I have been on this train. Lincoln Cure is going to be a cat for as long as I know. I'm adding myself to that, even though some people hate when I do that. But you know, I've been right there with you guys. How much validation did you have? Did Derek had the entire Casey Online crew have when it finally happened? Because you guys have been saying, hey, he's going to be a cat going on a year now. Yeah, it was a little bit of validation and also just like a sense of relief. Like, you always have a pretty good idea in how things are going to go. But you'd really, truly never know. Sometimes it comes recruiting. So it was a little bit of validation to be like, OK, I felt good about this last June. And now it's July 1st of the following year, and it has really stayed on the course and stayed the course and been how we have been saying. But to be honest, it was kind of like with Avery Johnson and Dylan Edwards the first time. And I'd even had Dylan Edwards in the transfer portal. There was a little bit of just relief on my end that I was like, OK, I got this right. And have been kind of saying it the whole time. So to be able to see him put on the hat and really kind of go in that moment, I think it was just like, OK, glad that that is done now. And kind of just on the back burner. So we've talked about his game and we'll do that here in a second. But what, if anything, does it do to other recruits or to the momentum inside the building when it comes to recruiting to see a five star with that paracat next to his name on all the recruiting sites? I think that it does a little bit inside the building to be able to say, OK, hey, we've done this. Can we do this again? But I don't know how much it will sway other recruits per se because if every Johnson was the five star, like as a quarterback, I think it would do a little bit more than Lincoln Care has a tight end. And that's just kind of the nature of the position that he plays. But I think that it's a big move for K-State to be able to say, hey, we can do this. But I also think that kind of going forward, kind of like what you've talked about, this was the perfect storm for K-State to get a five star. And I think that the next one would probably have to be a similar circumstance because that's just something that doesn't really happen at K-State and hasn't happened at K-State up until Lincoln Care. This episode is brought to you by Shopify. Do you have a point of sale system you can trust or is it a real POS? You need Shopify for retail from accepting payments to managing inventory. Shopify POS has everything you need to sell in person. Go to shopify.com/system, all lowercase, to take your retail business to the next level today. That's shopify.com/system. All right, so I know every time we've talked about Lincoln Care, we've said that, hey, you know, even though he's a five star, it might take a while for him to really get going at K-State. I've long said I think there's a better chance he would redshirt than be a starter as a true freshman. I know that used to be the popular opinion. I know Derek Young has come off that a little bit. Where do you stand on the impact that he could have as a true freshman versus how long he'll take him to really live up to that five star hype? I think that he can. I think that there's still a good chance that he doesn't run short, but I'm kind of with you on the... If my options were he starts half the games or he ends up redshirting, I would still probably end up leaning towards redshirting. But I think that there is a way to get him involved, to get him on the field because he's going to be one of the most athletic players, as Tennessee steps on to campus at K-State. So I think that there are going to be ways to be able to create schemes, to get him involved. And I think that what you'll probably see early on, and I know that Derek has kind of talked about this a little bit, is that you'll probably see him more as a jumbo wide receiver to start, and kind of ease him into the tight end position. Early on in his career where probably later on in his career, he'll be playing out wide and at tight end, kind of like he saw with Ben Senate. So I think that you'll see him play a little bit his freshman year, and just kind of ease into it. All right, the final thing on linking care before we move on, until I'm sure we'll talk about him again, come signing day. But is there any final story, any tidbit you want to share with the listeners about that recruitment? I think that the thing that has really stuck with me is that it wasn't Texas A&M, it wasn't KU, and those schools will tell you that it was them that ended up finishing second, but it was Oregon that ended up finishing second. And I would even say Texas A&M probably finished third. So I mean, that tells you about like what his top four was, and that kind of has stuck with me as, okay, we had this right from the beginning that it was Oregon as the biggest threat. The other thing that I would just add about not just his recruitment, but just him as a person. If you go back and read his announcement in the prepared statement that he made, very, very good kid, just really fits in with the KSA culture, and I was just really grateful to be able to be in a spot like that. And I know that once he gets to KSA, it will be really impactful, like meaningful to him because he wants to kind of show to the rest of the world that good-lung Kansas and small schools can produce big-time athletes like himself. And I mean, he wasn't joking in the statement that he said that he will work himself to exhaustion every day because he does. And I can really tell how much he's transformed his body even in the last three months. Yeah, and it will be amazing to probably see the transformation from when he shows up next June to, you know, probably the end of the football season because it's been well-documented. He's never been a full-time football player. He goes from football to basketball to track to then some seven-on-seven circuit stuff to back to football. So I'll be pumped to see the transformation. He goes maybe just from June to September, once he's full-time football. Yeah, and on three has him today, or I guess yesterday as you're listening to this, has him as the number four on their freak list in the 2025 class. I mean, that's a big-time honor for him and for KSA to really get that recruitment wrapped up. MGM Plus presents a new original series, Emperor of Ocean Park. Dad didn't dive natural causes. He was murdered. From executive producers of Shameless. We're from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Dad's had a lot of enemies. People never really know their parents. Starring Academy Award winner Forrest Whitaker. I wanted to protect you. Trust me. Someone's been following me for days. What are you gonna do? I've already done it. Emperor of Ocean Park. Watch now only on MGM Plus. Yep. So there's been some other commitments since we last spoke. All of them regional, but a handful of Kansas kids, which we'll talk about first. I'm gonna start with the guy who is also a blue chip guy based on all three's ranking. A top 300 guy, and that's Brock Heath. You know, it's the second of a kind of head-to-head win with Iowa. We'll talk about the other one here in a second. He had basically all the big 10 West offers. He had all the big 12 offers. Had Missouri and Arkansas as well. How big of a recruiting one was this 4K state to get it over the finish line? I think it was a big win for Casey to get it over the finish line. Not just because he's an end state product that has really highly regarded. Not just on the recruiting services, but also among a lot of schools. But also is fun to kind of keep that legacy train rolling. Because I knew that Brock Heath's dad played at Casey and played basketball in the 80s. But I didn't realize that he will be a fourth generation player to come to Casey and play a sport between football and basketball, which I think is super, super cool. And to kind of get that and to keep them, say at the moment, I'm going and to get another offensive lineman because they had struck out on a few beforehand. So they got Brock Heath in the fold, I think was a really big deal. So what sort of ceiling could he have? Again, another top 300 guy on three has him as a four star. I assume he's still going to be playing guard because that's where I believe he is for his high school. How good could this guy be? I think that he has potential to be an all big 12 player. I think that he is a little bit like Gus Hawkins from the last class, where if you really talk to Brock Heath and then you see him on the field, you wonder if that's the same kid because they're so different between how they act just in day-to-day life and then when they put the helmet and the pads on. Because Brock Heath is very nasty, will get after you. Well, not afraid to shock trash either, which I love and an offensive lineman. And you kind of get to see how physically he is on his tape. And I think that he has a really high ceiling, but I also think that he has a high floor because of the prospects that K-State has chased kind of throughout this entire 2025 class, I've kind of pegged him as the one that offensive lineman don't play typically right away. But I think that he probably has the easiest path to playing time because he is so polished already. So I think that that is another major point with him. And I think that he's going to stay at guard. He's probably, if you were going to make a prototype of a Connor Riley Brock Heath would probably fit the mold. One thing that really stuck out to me, and again, I'm not going to pretend like I'm a big talent evaluator because I'm not, I'm just a guy. But when you watch his tape, you don't see offensive linemen who understand angles and leverage as well. You know, some of these four star top 300 type guys were offensive linemen. They're just more athletic and stronger than everyone. It's just like, all right, they're taking a club and just beating on guys. He has that ability. I'm not trying to say he's not athletic, not strong. But when you see him being able to flip his hips and the angles and the leverage he uses, I think that's what gives him that high floor you were talking about. Yeah, he really understands the game and really understands how to use his body and has a really high football IQ. And I think that that's another thing that Connor Riley has really looked for in offensive linemen. And with the Brock Heath, you really see that. I said that last year with Kyle Rockers that that's the one thing I really stood out to me was how will they? He really understood the game. And I think that that's something that's important, especially when you're playing on the interior of the offensive line. I think as you see, case state, when they go with a silent account, the guards are typically tapping on the center to snap the ball. No, that's a great point. Again, we're staying in Kansas. We got two others. Again, I mentioned a head to head recruiting win over Iowa. Another one, there wasn't a lot of schools, you know, with Brock Heath, there's a lot of schools who are trying to get involved. It really was case state or Iowa the entire way for Maguire Richmond. He's at Blue Valley. He's been listed as one of the best players in the Kansas City Metro. What can you tell us first about him as a player? As a player, Maguire Richmond is a freak athlete. Like he's another guy that he has a really high vertical has good sideline to sideline speed. Kind of fits that Mike linebacker, maybe a will linebacker at the next level. Because of his ability to really track down the ball carrier, really physical, good tackler. I think that's one of the things that really stood out to me and kind of has stood out to a lot of coaches in the EKL. I've kind of talked about how he is one of the best tacklers in the EKL, which, you know, it sounds simple to be like, yeah, that's an important thing and like obvious, but that's still a very important thing because a lot of high schoolers don't exactly have great tacklers. But he has really, really good tackling technique, and I think that he could be a big time player for K-State as well. And I know he has some ties up to Iowa, so how good of a recruiting win was this not only because he has ties to Iowa, not only because as much as we like to poke fun at Iowa, they put guys in the NFL as well. And it is, you know, the discourse of, oh, it's not the power for, it's the power to to get a heads up. No one else involved just one-on-one win over Iowa. Yeah, I think that's a big deal too, because it's not just the power to win, but it's his brother is a starting offensive lineman at Iowa and might be an NFL guy by this time next year. So I think that that's an important thing to really note. And like he had the Iowa visit still scheduled and decided to cut to K-State before even going to Iowa City. So I think that that is an important factor in this as well. And I think that it just kind of shows how far K-State has come along, not just recruiting, but recruiting in the state, where this is a guy that I think would be celebrated a lot more in late Bill Snyder, early Chris Climate classes of, hey, we just went head to head with Iowa, who their, his brother is a starter for them, and just one out and he didn't even take a visit to Iowa. But instead now with how K-State has kind of been rolling, and this happened to be a few weeks before Lincoln Cure, it was like, oh, that's nice. So I think that that just kind of shows how far the staff has came along, which I think is exciting because if you can hit on these kind of guys as well as getting like the four and five stars like Brock Heath and Lincoln Cure, that I think that that's kind of like the perfect storm and what will make K-State more dangerous going forward. But the last in-state guy we'll talk about is, you know, Ashton Moore, who again, he is the brother of Austin Moore. We're going to have a hell of the time. Yeah, I think you talked about this on the K-State online show. We're going to have a hell of a time, you know, remembering to say Ashton instead of Austin. But what can you tell us about him? First, Austin Moore seemed to let it slip at media days that Ashton was going to be committing to K-State. But what can you tell us about his game and why was it important for K-State to make sure they locked this down before his senior season started? Yeah, hilarious timing with Ashton Moore committing right after the Austin Moore comment that he kind of let slip out a little bit at media days. And it was something, and this is just a peek behind the curtain of like, what is it? What do I do? Everyone, like, when something like that happens, Mason and I didn't really think anything of it until after Ashton committed of like, oh, he kind of just told us yesterday that this was happening. But it was, he is like the mini machine. That's what I called him on the KSO YouTube channel. When we talked about Ashton Moore committing, he is exactly like Austin. Number one, names extremely similar. So I've already had a lot of problems just thinking about saying Ashton between the two shows that I've done, talking about him and writing. I've been like, huh, it's Ashton, not Austin. Look extremely similar. Play extremely similar. Ashton, very, very good tackler as well, had over 120 this past year at Lewisburg, two time all state linebacker, one time all state running back, also wrestles, does track and field as well. So he's another big time athlete. I think it was important for K-State to lock this down early, because I think that they were going to get him regardless. But I think that you want to kind of keep that momentum going because recruiting is such a momentum based type of thing. And we've kind of seen that with K-State getting 12 commitments since June 9 after coming into the month of June with only three. So I think that's important. And I think it's just important to, again, kind of like Brock Heath, you need guys that have like that really deep tie to K-State, because in this era of transfers, you want to have as many guys that you want that you know that they want to be here. And I know how much Ashton wants to be here. And again, Ashton, if you're listening to this, we're number 41, really throw off all the big 12 teams after your brother leaves and where the exact same number. I think that would be great. We got some other regional recruiting wins, but before we do, this podcast is brought to you by our friends at Charlie Hussle clothing company, Charlie Hussle specializes in vintage inspired hometown and collegiate gear. And they produce some of the best officially licensed K-State gear in the game. Shop Charlie Hussle's K-State collection and show off your purple pride in style and comfort shop online at charlie hustle.com. Or at one of their store locations in Kansas City, Charlie Hussle vintage made fresh. And now we're getting into the all star break. But I'm rocking something from their Kansas City baseball collection as well. So it's not just K-State stuff. I got great stuff for all the local teams. All right. I was just at Charlie Hussle on Saturday. So, what did you buy? My girlfriend Grace it bought a sporting KC crew net or a quarter zip. Oh, I didn't buy anything. Well, you should. You should have. You know, it's a tough life out there. You got to choose between NCAA football 25 or Charlie Hussle crew neck or sweatshirt. Well, there you go. And I did hear they are going to be getting their green big eight T shirts back in stock here before football season. So, that's one that I think you need to get drew since it collapsed before you were born. So, we'll move on. We're going to talk about RJ Collins next again. He's a speedster out of Kansas City. We got two more, both of them are speedsters, but we'll start with RJ on the Missouri side of the Kansas City Metro. Why was K-State so keen on locking him up because I think he has the potential to be one of those prospects that truly blows up this senior season. Well, I think that you just could hit it on the nail right there. I think that they wanted to wrap it up as soon as they possibly could because he is somebody that could explode during the fall. I really, really, really like RJ Collins because the speed is something that you can't teach. And if, if he is able to really hone in on the technique at playing free safety or playing corner because that's still another possibility, but my guess would be free safety. I think that he is somebody that could really take off because he has that speed that you can't teach. I mean, he, he set the Missouri class five state meet record and the 200. And it kind of sounds like he did that because he was kind of pissed off that he didn't win the 100 and got third. So, he comes back and just blazes the track in the 200. And it was somebody that I was really paying attention to during the K-State camp that he was at because Joe Klanderman and him were talking after every single rep during one ones of what he can really work on and what he can kind of do for the next rep and he just kept getting better and better and better and then the offer came the next day. And then K-State wraps it up within, I believe it was like seven or eight days of being offered. And another one where his parents actually met at K-State. So kind of just like a fun little connection there. I love it so ESPN does have him as a four star in the number five player Missouri on three doesn't have him rank yet. Even as much as I like him and I do like that you know K-State seems to be trying to put together an Olympic trial relay team amongst their DB's. I do think that's a little lofty to him but I think he is a guy who maybe if he comes to K-State and he really takes to the coach and could have an NFL ceiling. If on three came to you and said hey Drew give us your ranking on this guy give us your rating on this guy what would you tell them. For me he'd probably be that 86 or 87 like the mid to high three star because his ceiling is so high. And I think that some of what you see with rankings is projection. And that's Lincoln cure is a five star because they think that he could be a central first round draft pick at on three and on two four seven and rivals and ESPN they have a rank that high because they think that he could potentially be a first round draft pick. RJ Collins probably has a really high ceiling, but you're not so sure about the floor because he would be playing a different position at K-State, but he hits that ceiling. That's where you'd see the ranking go up but I think an initial rank of like that 86 or 87 because he has that speed he has a physicality. He can really really cover as well so I'm really excited about him and think that he could be a guy that by this time next or by this time I guess not this time by about December you're like huh. He's really shut up for the ranking is a lot. And I wouldn't be shocked. All right, the final one we're going to talk about final commitment it's a guy that you've been talking about for close to a year now. Ontario Elston he likes the nickname money Elston. So you got to love the swagger that comes with that coming out of Arkansas. We talked about, you know, the impressive recruiting when you know you've had short running backs explosive running backs with, you know, Darren sprawls john Hubert deuce Vaughn now we got Dylan Edwards. So to put entirely too high of expectations on this kid, which of those, you know, for, you know, all American running backs, or I guess three all American running backs and then Dylan Edwards who will be an all American running back. So which of those short Kings does he remind you of the most. Probably the most like Dylan Edwards. I think that he, and this is a guy that's not on your list, but that's okay because he hasn't played a down yet either. But he's kind of like that cross for me between Dylan Edwards and Dave on rice, like if they had like a love child it would be Monterey Elston because Elston is so fast and can really catch it catch the ball out of the backfield. And I think that can really just with one move explode. And I think that I said I posted as soon as he committed on my Twitter account. I posted his film and said, if you just want to know what case it's getting from Ontario Elston watch the first two plays, because the first play he takes a toss, and just makes one move and out runs the rest of the. The team because he runs a 4 4 flat as a high school rising senior at a late as a laser time from one of the camps that he was at. I believe that Kentucky this summer. And the one thing that really held him back and is holding him back and ranking and kind of what his recruitment ended up being in terms of offers because I think that he's somebody that could have had double digit. Our four offers pretty easily. And I think the case itself have landed him. But the thing that really was holding him back was that he's only 5 6 5 7. Contacting customer service. For a lot of people that's an easy way to ruin a good day. Zendesk customer experience with AI, built for humans. Nope, I hear you, but if there's one spot in the country that can take those short running back to the case state and again, I like pairing them, you know, with those bigger backs, you know, you got DJ now you have Dylan Edwards. I believe JB Price is still going to have a pretty big say in how the running back room looks. Post DJ Giddens as well. So I love kind of having that thunder and lightning dynamic in the running back room. We mentioned it, he's in Arkansas. Case state identified him before everyone, but they didn't have to hold off to SEC schools down in SEC country Arkansas in Missouri, Georgia Tech tried to get involved as well. So which one of those two things do you think Casey deserves the most credit for identifying him before everyone else did, or holding off the in state razorbacks holding off SEC school in Mizzou holding off elite academic football team Georgia Tech. So which of those two things identification or recruitment did they succeed in the most. I think this is more of an identification when because I think being first really helped case date in this recruitment. It was a combination of being first and also knowing what to do with shorter running backs that really helped get this over the line. And do I posted it again right after else and committed publicly, but Monterey also actually committed to case eight and December and wanted to kind of go. And it was a once it's a once in a lifetime thing you, you hope to go through the recruitment process and kind of see everything and his only other official visit was to Arkansas. And Casey had already committed to case date by the time that Arkansas offered if you're going by him coming in December. So it was really Arkansas playing from behind for a really, really long time. And Casey gets the drop done and I think that he is a guy. I know that I've kind of talked about who I really, really like in this class. But Monterey Elston would be my number one if Lincoln cure did not exist. I absolutely love it. So we have 15 guys who are committed right now. How many more and then what positions do you think Casey it's really looking at to round out the 2025 class. That is the million dollar question and a question that is really tough to answer in this day and age, but I think that it's a little bit to do with. There's probably four high school spots left would be my guess with one being an offensive line and one being a receiver. And then you have a couple spots for like a best available. I'd say 18 to 20 high school prospects, just because you don't want to overload on high school. Anyone have room for the transfer portal and JUCO ads, which Casey has done a really good job with in the last few classes as well. So I'd say 18 to 20 offensive lineman receiver best players available. Maybe another another running back honestly would not shock me. And that's not because they don't believe in else. And I think that that's because I think that they probably need another running back to kind of keep that room healthy numbers wise. All right, so are there any names that you're really watching, or are we really kind of in a spot where the board is about to be reset when you're looking at targets. I have a few that I'm watching right now, the one that I'm really paying attention to is Kate Peter Zach of North Dakota, who still hasn't committed anywhere, which has honestly really shocked me so far that he's still available out there. I think that almost committed to Oklahoma did not end up taking a trip to Casey but ends up visiting anyway, and the visit went really really well and I think that Casey is really within striking distance for him. And then the other one is the new target Noah King of Ohio. I think that there's no safety where his recruitment really blew up in the month of June, but he didn't end up taking official visits to Nebraska or Kentucky, which surprised a lot of people so he's still available. And he wants to visit Casey at the end of the month, and wants to be committed also by the end of the month so I think that if Casey can get him on campus that they would probably be the favorite to land Noah King, which would end up. How the safety class was perceived around because you'd say, okay, they didn't get two targets but ended up getting three guys by the time that fall, but by the time that fall can't begin. Yeah, no, I'll be interested to see who the next one is and if it is among those two I really want I really want Kate and I like grabbing those Dakota kids. So, so we'll see what happens everyone should stay tuned into on three to see who may be next. We'll end the talking in state recruiting everyone loves talking about Kansas kids among the on three industry ranked top 16, only three remain uncommitted. You have five star and Andrew Babylola, you have four star Kate and Butler and then you have Drayton or Drayton all I believe you guys know how bad I am pronouncing names. So I don't believe and you can correct me, correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't seem like case it's really in the finals for Babylola or Butler. Noel can't twice at K state could he be a guy who ends up in purple if he has a good senior season. What do you see from those three guys who are in the on three top 16. Yeah, on three industry top 16 Kansas kids. Oh man, that's a word salad. Kate and Butler actually is not from Kansas anymore, which we're so down to 15. We don't care about you anymore Butler. But yeah with and where did he go. He goes, I believe it's somewhere in California. Let me, let me do a little search football factory. Long Beach poly. Okay, yeah. So good for him. Good for him. Yeah, so that recruitment is kind of just gone. I don't even know what is going on there but Andrew Babylola. It hasn't been in the mix for him for a little bit, which is a little bit surprising how fast that he quick or he cut case eight because case it was kind of a team that was surging in that December, January time and then about February and March. Like case eight had completely fallen out of his top like 10 that I believe he dropped. Right now is the guy that I think that if he has a strong senior season, I wouldn't be surprised if case it was too budge on him either at the preferred walk on level or a scholarship level. But I think that he is probably the next candidate if I was going to point to a Kansas kid that was going to get an offer. And then in the 2025 plus it would probably be great and all. Is there anyone else in state that fans have an eye on when when football kicks off in August or would it really be more walk on candidates in everyone else is already been identified who scholarship worthy. It would probably be more walk on candidates. But again, like we've seen that that hasn't really deterred. A process goes in case eight will be really involved with those guys as well. So those guys are always fun to keep an eye on as well. And I'll, I have my eye on a few of the 2025 walk on candidates. And I think that Drayton all though is probably the one scholarship guy that you're really going to be need to pay attention to. Perfect. And as we wrap up 26 seems to be a loaded class. I feel like really, you know, over the last five, six years, the state of Kansas has just gotten better. And better. Sometimes you have a ton of high end. Sometimes you just have a ton of power five division one prospects. When you look at 2026, are there any of those players you're really paying the closest attention to zeroing in on. Yeah, the one that I'm probably paying the most attention attention to right now is actually a Manhattan prospect. J. J. Done again, his father played at K state. And Casey offered him, they were the first power for school to do so and really wanted to make that a point because not only is he from Manhattan, but also a legacy. And I think the case dates and a pretty good spot for him right now, but it's still so early in the 2026 game. Some other guys that I'm really paying attention to would be Tyrant Parker from Shiny Heights, another Topeka guy that it seems like Topeka more and more is kind of becoming a place where power for prospects are coming out of, which is about time for me. They've struggled a little bit, but it's about time to start getting one every other year. So I was not to say the same thing, like it feels good that because kind of becoming a little bit of a football hub. And then the other one that I think that I would really pay attention to right now, if I was a fan would be in a primer from Great Bend. And it's another tight end from Kansas. And it's probably going to be another four star tight end, at least a four star tight end from Kansas. And you're seeing Kansas really kind of take off. You've talked about the run, the run of running backs recently, but holy cow, the run of tight ends, the last four or five classes is pretty insane when you think about it. Yeah, well, NCO becomes just an afterthought, like, no tight ends are rolling. Yeah, well, NCO is going to end up being the lowest ranked of the four tight ends, the last four classes from Kansas, if you count the 2026 class and that's when you know that you're doing really well in the state. And Ann Primmer, also amazing basketball, like he has some crazy donks on his highlights. If you ever get bored and want to watch like some basketball highlights, his highlight tape is very fun. Well, I'll be interested to see how the 2026 recruiting goes. I know a lot of folks are pointing to a couple players saying, Hey, this is going to be a tough battle to win this and that and look at that might be the case, but things are just getting rolling for 2026 I'll be looking forward to checking in on the end state and all of the 2026 guys as we continue to talk over the fall. I don't know. You're always great. You always come on when I ask you to. So who knows when I'm going to get a recruiting show. I'll be on whatever you need me. Well, here's the thing, the next time we have you on, there might be a recruiting question or two, but it will be for blitz month in August so start start thinking about what your pendulum game is who's going to be the breakout player on each side and MVPs and that stuff, because that will be coming soon. But that's the next time you'll be on our show. We know you're doing great stuff on the Casey online podcast and YouTube also great work behind the paywall over at on three. Is there anything specific you want to plug to the boneheads before I let you go on with your afternoon. Just make sure to sub to KSO sub to the KSO YouTube channel. Mason and I have a lot of fun with a lot of our shows and you see some really fun interviews because I think that we, we did a good job of mixing serious questions that everybody wanted to hear about. With also a lot of fun big 12 media days questions, our interview with Jean Taylor I thought was one of the best ones that I have been a part of at KSO. We also got Chris Klimans who admit that he really likes Las Vegas so that that was fun. And they got to see like little tidbits just from guys like behind the scenes like we asked Austin more. We made sure to say the correct one, the correct name. We asked Austin more who like the best fisherman among the linebackers were we asked. I believe we asked Mark Eastsegal like who the best trash knock on the team was like you learn a lot about like the guys personalities I think in our interviews, which I thought was super fun. We always try to put out as much content as it can throughout the day and it's going to be a lot of fun because the season is ramping up. So I'm very, very excited. I'm excited for it as well. And look, I think you guys do a great job not only with your interviews but I think you and Mason have quickly become the best duo in K state podcasting it's a shame that sometimes dy decides to ruin it and coming on. I'm just kidding. But you guys did a great job out there and if anyone hasn't go back and watch and listen to all your guys content from media days so get a nap, take a deep breath I know there's like one more camp I think in late July 25th. Yep and then there's a little bit of contact period but then it's, then it's getting ready for the season and hopefully is going to be one for the ages so drew, take a nap, drink some parades zero make sure you stay hydrated in this heat. And yeah, that's all I got for you so any final words for the boneheads.
