[Music] Shalom, tier one. Good morning to you. And you are once again warmly welcome to Radio HCI today. God bless you so much for joining the just-ended prayer time. And it's also for making time to join in, to listen to today's episode of our Morning Glory Devotion. It is always a joy and a delight to see you join us for such times of inspiration through the Word of God. We trust and believe God that today also will be a fulfilling time spent in the Word of God. Privileged to be facilitating today's devotion, a semester and this exclusive. Let's kindly share a Word of Prayer. Father, we are grateful this morning for your Word and your opportunity to gather. We pray dear Lord that you will inspire us, you will teach us and correct us and transform our lives by your Word in Jesus' name. Amen. Beloved, let's kindly take our confession together from Joshua chapter 1, verse 8. Joshua chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in eight days and nights, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Beloved, today's devotion is entitled, Drop Your Case. Drop Your Case. It was written by our sister, Amanda Deidou. Our uncle's scripture will be taken from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 20, verse 10 to 15. When those hide first came to get the AP, they assumed they would receive more, but they too were paid a day's wage. When they received their pay, they protested to the owner. Those people worked only one hour, and yet you have paid them just as much as you have paid us, who worked all day in the scorching heat. He answered one of them, "Friend, I haven't been on pay. Didn't you agree to work all day for the usual wage? Take your money and go. I wanted to pay this last work at the same as you. Is it against the law for me to do what I want with my money? Should you be jealous, because I am kind to others?" Amen. Drop Your Case. Drop Your Case. Brethren, if anyone be in Christ, He is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. When we accept the offer of salvation, we enroll in a nature-transforming program, where we die to ourselves and grow in Christ. As unbelievers, we were rooted in sin, and had the sinful tendencies, which we must constantly submit for renewal and transformation. In the parable above, the weakest grumbled because they felt they deserved more. The natural emotion of jealousy and unfairness seemed right in their eyes, but the master rebuked them, because he was only being just and generous. Many of us are like the workers. We come into the fields still holding on to our flesh and tendencies, but for us to be able to grow in God, we have to be willing to drop them. Brethren, the lost ways are not ours, and His perspective is not tainted with sin. He is just, kind, loving and humble, and to be able to exhibit these qualities, we have to drop our mindsets and inclinations. We simply cannot see things from Christ's perspective or become like Him, when our hearts are hardened to our old ways. Every time you feel jealous, proud, envious, lazy, lack of self-control among the many other fleshy deeds, you have to know that it is not a reflection of God. It is your flesh on display, and no matter how justified you feel, it is wrong and unlike Christ. Beloved, the only way to truly see the way God sees is to drop your case. Drop your ideologies and legitimate excuses. Drop your fleshy selfish deeds, and accept what God wears says. For instance, God instructs us to forgive. So no matter how justified you feel when offended, you have to drop your own thoughts and reasons. Accept God's verdict and forgive. That is how we become more like Him, when we are willing to die daily to the self, and drop all we have held on to for so long. The Lord Jesus is able to keep you beloved from stumbling, and to present you thoughtless, before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, according to Jude 24. The Lord will transform you, and make you anew, if only you will drop what you know. Pick up your cross and follow Him, Shalom. We will take our memory verse for today, from the Book of Matthew 16, verse 24 to 25. Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If any man desires to come after me, let him deny himself. Take up his cross and follow me, for whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it, amen." Beloved shall we pray? Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, and thank you for your word so sweet. We pray the Lord for grace to be able to drop our cases, and yield to your verdict, and yield to your word. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed, amen. Amen, Beloved God bless you so much, and thank you for staying through with us right from our prayer time to the end of today's devotion.
