Here is something I hear very often, "I wish I didn't have to sell my work." Well, then don't. This is sales for nice people, the daily podcast for ethical entrepreneurs who want to sell more because of their values and all spite them. This is episode 43, I am Martin Steller, I help nice people sell more. And when you feel conflicted about selling, and you love your work and you love your clients, and you would love for people to buy from you, but you just wish you didn't have to sell your work, well then don't sell your work. Instead, have conversations, because listen, in the end, a sale happens in the context of a conversation, so if you make it your job to have as many conversations as possible, then the sales process is taking care of itself. And if you then make those conversations, not about what you offer, not about what you solve, not about how you can bring the value and the solution, but you make the conversation about the problems that these people have, well then the sales process will unfold by itself and people will enroll themselves. Because if you ask people about their problems long enough, they will end up asking you about your solution. So instead of trying to pitch and persuade and convince and have compelling arguments, simply have conversations with people and ask them about their problems, write up until the point until they say, hey, how does this work? Can you help us ask people about their problems until they ask you about your solution? That's it for today, sign up for a short daily email at martinsteller.com/nicepeople and
